Dwayne answered my frantic phone call at 11:00pm. Drain backed up in my 1st floor condo laundry room. Awful! He & his son were on a job downtown in Chicago. They arrived at 11:40pm & worked til about 1:30am to fix the problem. It was a pretty complicated task but they fixed the problem. Very pleased with Best Price Sewer & Plumbing. First time ever using their service, I started to have issues with my shower drain. I started to do some research and came across Anthony I gave him a call and within 30 minutes he showed up I explain to him the situation he explained to me with details what’s causing this issue and how to prevent this in the future.. I am very satisfied and happy with this company. I live on the first floor of a 5 unit condo. So when there was an issue with it backing up in my condo I called Tony. He rodded it out but knew there was a bigger issue and it would not last. He was able to come the same day which was very fortunate for me. Now a month later it was necessary to replace some of the main line pipe. He was able to start on the project the next day saying it would take 2 full days. It was fixed in 2 days. When you’re in an emergency situation, you don’t have time to research the best company or the best price. You go with your gut and cross your fingers. Just a few days before New Year’s Eve, our sewer drains started backing up in the house. Thankfully, we realized quickly what was happening and stopped using water. At first, we thought the issue was limited to one bathroom, but it turned out to be much worse. I started calling several companies, including one I had worked with earlier in 2025. It was Sunday night, and no one answered at first. A few minutes later, H2Flo called me back. Within 30 minutes, two young plumbers were at my house assessing the problem. They used a camera to inspect the sewer pipes and reached a conclusion almost immediately. The cast iron pipe coming out of the house and connecting to the main sewer line was likely broken and misaligned. Because of this, there was little to no flow, and a large amount of wipes (!!) had accumulated in the gap, blocking what little space water still had to pass through. They tried removing some of the blockage, but explained that the pipe needed to be replaced and that they would need an excavator. Since they had to rent one, they couldn’t continue that night and would return in the morning. After they left, we realized that their initial cleaning had actually helped, and the drains were working again. Still, we were very careful with water usage that night, afraid the issue could come back. The next morning, they arrived (a bit later than planned) with the excavator and got to work. The entire job took about 3–4 hours. They did a great job, worked efficiently, and were very clean and professional inside the house while replacing the pipe. The other plumber I had worked with in the past later told me he could have done the job for less money. Maybe that’s true — but H2Flo answered an emergency call on a Sunday night, temporarily restored our drainage so we could use water again, and then completed a high-quality repair the very next day. That peace of mind is worth a lot. In the end, I’m very happy with the work and glad I supported a local, family-owned and operated business. Thank you very much, H2Flo!

Brian was able to come out the same day we called. He replaced an oven gas pipe valve that was leaking, and he also turned on the gas afterward that Nicor had shut off the previous night, as well as the hot water heater. Very efficient and obviously knows what he's doing.

Phil with RootBusters Plumbing was very professional, detailed in his assessments and his recommendations was exactly what was needed to get the job completed. We called for a clogged kitchen sink. Not only did he unclog it but also cleaned the pipes all the way to the sewer lines in the yard. Had to schedule him back the next day to install new faucets in my kitchen and his/hers in my bathroom. Job was very well done with a professional touch. We had tree roots poking through a line going through to our kitchen and our sink was backing up and very slow to drain. We called that night at 11:30 and I can't remember the name but the lady was super nice and helpful at finding a time for us to get someone in the next day even though I said it wasn't an emergency. The technician who ended up being named Andrew was a great guy and explained everything in depth to us. He was pretty quick and was very considerate about not making a mess and making sure we knew what was going on. He made sure to reiterate the price ahead of time before work was started. Thank you so much for the detailed explanation of every step of the process. My wife and I definitely found out who we will keep going to for any plumbing issues! Definitely one of the best companies we have worked with overall. You will not regret working with this company if you need a great plumber.

Update: Jay's response to this claims the phones were down and they are contacting me which is a lie. No one has reached out to me or stopped by the house they trashed. They are just saying this to try to look better to make it look like they care...they do not. And if the phones were not working then how was I able to speak to someone each time I called and each time I was told Ashley was in a meeting and would send you a message. Was the internet or cellular service down too? We called Jay's Plumbing for a clogged drain next to a toilet. The adjacent tubs had sewage water mixed with drain cleaner backed up. The shower had 3" of standing sewage water. George, who arrived in a 24/7 Plumbing truck, which by the way shares the same license as Jay's, formally located off Ogden Avenue in Downers Grove, said he would have to pull the toilet to get a camera in the line. George was informed there was a significant amount of drain cleaner in the drains and tubs in our attempts to fix the problem. At no time did George caution us on any potential problems as a result of pulling the toilet. 10 minutes later, he pulls the toilet and does not siphon the sewage water out of the adjacent backed up toilet and tubs and floods our bathroom and downstairs. I immediately called Jay's and asked for a supervisor to go to the house. I was told, "everyone is in a meeting." We spoke to a "supervisor" later on George's phone who said no one was available to come out and someone would call us. George reset the toilet and left saying, "I'll let my office deal with this." He had to use our own bath towels to clean up his mess but left when our ceiling was still leaking and we were left to clean it up ourselves. Our property sustained significant damage. We lost personal property damaged from the sewer water mixed with drain cleaner and have a damaged ceiling. We have called eight times asking for Ashley (Ellis), the "supervisor" to call us back and have repeatedly asked for the insurance information. All of our calls have been ignored. This occurred over two weeks ago and we have still received nothing from Jay's and/or 24/7 Plumbing. After this incident, we spoke to someone else who used Jay's and learned the same pattern of company response to a problem.

Had some preventive work on my main sewer line done. Jays is a local business I called. The initial call was great and they scheduled the job. Arturo was my tech. He showed up on time, was friendly and was a good plumber. He showed me the before camera shots, rodded the line and showed me the after shots. He made some recommendations on how to maintain. All-in-all a great experience with Jays and Arturo!

We’ve been customers before and have lived in Downers Grove for many years, so this was especially disappointing. We were quoted $79 for a diagnostic inspection, but when the plumber arrived, we were told it would be $240 for a visit that lasted about five minutes. My wife was the only one home at the time, and the sudden price change felt misleading. Honest, upfront pricing matters — and this experience did not reflect that.

We had some big roots clogging our drains. Elias and his team came in, introduced themselves and explained exactly what they were going to look for and the process. They got right to it and were finished quickly. They showed me a camera view of before and then after, explaining what was happening the whole way through. Solution plumbing fixed a sink 2 months ago and gave me a warranty. The sink is still leaking. Called to make an appointment. When he arrived more than two weeks later he never fixed the sink. He sent estimates for other things he wanted to fix that were never requested. What good is a warranty if he cannot show up in a timely manner and repair the sink. What great customer service.

This company has come through and helped my house some important situations I am extremely grateful for. They replaced an ejector pump, and replaced a cast iron drum trap. The prices are fair and won't break the bank. Trinidad is amazing at customer service.

Avery came out on Saturday while we were in desperate need of fixing our toilet. He did a wonderful job and our toilet is no longer running.

I noticed my sump pump line outside my unit was bubbling water over the outside pipe. I called Courtesy Plumbing and they arrived at my unit within an hour. Justin performed an assessment and determined my line was full of roots from surrounding trees. To remediate the issue, another piece of equipment was needed and maybe a second person. Justin was able to add another drainage line to push water away from my unit until he was able to return with equipment. Justin was able to rod out the line and I could not believe the mass amount of roots he removed!!! Justin is always professional, detailed, knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything that needs to be done for repair. Courteous plumber Dave even cleaned up the area after rodding my pipes. These guys did the courtesy of that so good name. We sent the camera into pipe to ensure it was clear to the street. Definitely far superior service than other plumbers I have tried in the past. Will call them back next time.
