Top Rated Plumbers in Romeoville, Illinois
Noble Plumbing & Sewer
245 Hanburg Ln, Bolingbrook, IL 60440, USA
(630) 754-7252During my kitchen remodel, I discovered water shooting out of my open sink drains after doing some laundry. I called Noble Plumbing, and Michael kindly explained the likely issue over the phone (he was spot on) and came out the next morning to fix it. He also discovered a hidden problem from some previous plumbing work, and I'm so glad he caught it. Michael was professional, friendly, and informative. The price seemed very fair for the work. Highly recommended! I'll definitely use him next time."
2 months agoHad a kitchen drain completely backed up from grease (our fault). After many failed attempts at unclogging myself, contacted Noble Plumbing who came out the same day. Folks these guys just wouldn't give up! They ran their powered drain auger through the drain 10 times and didn't stop until they got the job done. It was like they couldn't let the clog beat them. However the thing that most impress me was their honesty. I had thought I needed to have the entire pipe configuration under the sink re-piped to avoid future issues. They told me the setup was perfectly fine. Most plumbers would have took advantage of my lack of knowledge and up sold me on a re-piping. If you want an honest and reliable plumber, contact Noble.
5 months agoI had TR Miller come because I had a leak in my water heater, they told me I needed to replace the water heater for thousands of dollars because of another issue which turned out to be minor. Michael came and checked it out and repaired the leak fixed my upstairs faucet and installed a new faucet in the kitchen for a reasonable price. Honest good service. Going to be going back to Noble for all plumbing needs going forward. Thank you!!
3 months agoFather and Sons Plumbing & Drain Cleaning - Willowbrook
636 Executive Dr, Willowbrook, IL 60527, USA
(630) 822-4443We had some big roots clogging our drains. Elias and his team came in, introduced themselves and explained exactly what they were going to look for and the process. They got right to it and were finished quickly. They showed me a camera view of before and then after, explaining what was happening the whole way through. Very efficient, polite, and great to work with. Will highly recommend.
5 months agoHad a great experience today with Father and Sons Plumbing Called at 4:00 PM on a Friday after our sewer line backed up into the house. They gave us an ETA of 5:30 - 6:30 and they showed up on time! Crew were Courteous, and Professional, they showed the issue to me with a scope on a video feed, the issue was tree roots in the line. They had the line cleaned out and working in under half an hour. They also checked the other end of the line toward the house and found more roots, which they cleaned as well. Prices were reasonable, and in line with local competition. Happy to support a local small business such as this!
7 months agoAbraham at Father and Son’s did a great job with our new toilet installation. They kept everything clean and tidy, were very friendly and pricing was reasonable. Elias also came out to give an honest assessment of our plumbing situation, and we felt that he was honest and incredibly accommodating with schedules. Will definitely hire them again!
8 months agoSuburban Plumbing Sewer Line and Drain Cleaning Experts
9100 Plainfield Rd Suite #9A, Brookfield, IL 60513, USA
(708) 801-6530From the time our 8 unit condo building was opened in 2016, until 2023, we had zero problems with plumbing. In late January 2023, after we had just gotten home from a trip to Tupelo, our main floor (we have a “duplex down”) kitchen sink water began rising on its own from drain water from upper floor units. My wife and I were like an old-time bucket brigade, running gallons from the sink to the powder room toilet to keep the water from cascading over our cabinets and onto the floor. We had a plumber come out and run a rod from under our kitchen sink into the main drain pipe, which started a drain flow of water again. This problem unfortunately returned in October 2023 (when we were just about to leave for vacation), as well as July and September 2024, July 2025 and most recently on November 3rd. Despite previously using two different large plumbing companies, none of them could locate where our building’s main 4” drain pipe was located (using metal detectors and cameras). So effectively each time they rodded from our kitchen, they were punching a small hole into the grease blockage, with the hole slowly closing back up. So we hired Suburban Chicago Plumbing Experts this time. They not only identified the problem, but also identified where our main drain pipes were located, and then went on to create new external clean-out pipes for our building so that now any future blockages can be gotten to easily. Suburban spent three hours using unique hydrojetting equipment which has a truck-based water heater furnace to melt away all of the grease which was clogging our line. And unlike most other plumbing companies, they also have their own vacuum truck, and sucked all the grease out of our front yard’s underground catch basin. I can’t recommend enough their expertise, their specialized equipment, and their attractive pricing. A terrific combination and value.
6 months agoWe had a major plumbing issue in the basement of one of the properties we managed. There was a backed up sewage line and left easily a foot of waste on the floor that needed to be disposed of and sanitized. One plumber told us we had to find someone to clean it up (which was odd to me because that seems like a hazard of the job) and then we called a second plumber and he could not get past a few feet with his scope. Mike and his team was able to clear the line all the way to the street and cleaned and sanitized it in a few hours. It has held great for a few months but we need a more permanent solution that the landlord cannot afford at this time but we will be using Mike and his team to help us when the time comes.
7 months agoMike, Maro, and Alex are AMAZING!!I can't praise these guys enough! Great customer service ad great work for a reasonable price. New catch basin, new sump pump, fixed existing wall whole and re-hung outside post to the way it should have been originally! As a bonus, they empty a big waste can of my stuff! These guys did a lot of work all in one day. Thank you guys!
5 months agoHannah's Plumbing & Sewer Services (Berwyn)
4421 S Harlem Ave, Stickney, IL 60402, USA
(708) 267-1461Mike camo out in 1/2 hour to fix the drain in wash tub. It was clogged with lint. Blew it out. Cleaned up sink and I'm good to wash my laundry. I use Hannah's all the time. In my neighborhood. Prices are good too. Would totally recommend for all your plumbing needs
3 months agoGreg Hannah’s plumbing team is top notch and Artie is a true professional. He’s been to the house twice for our sewer line and was extremely transparent both times about the needs of our home. He took the time to answer all of my questions as a first time homeowner and ensured I understand the root cause of our issues. Pun intended. I highly recommend Greg Hannah Plumbing if you need quick, reliable and friendly service.
3 months agoMy wife and I are very pleased with the plumbing service we received from Artie and his helper. They arrived on time and they were able to solve our plumbing issue. Artie was able to answer our questions and provide us with useful information. We want to thank the gentlemen for the excellent work. They were clean and professional. We highly recommend Greg Hannah Plumbing.
3 months agoJ. Blanton Plumbing, Sewer & Drain
15 Spinning Wheel Rd #216a, Hinsdale, IL 60521, USA
(331) 289-3020They are not local as was advertised. I paid $49.99 to see what the trouble was. I was then quoted 2200 for a fix or 800....I said I will need a 2nd opinion....then quoted $360 to use a snake....in his defense he said more than likely won't work...I said if u dont make it worse go ahead....he did it ....and left the toilet with dirty water to the rim...so my opinion made it worse.....not sure if I was being scammed but it sure felt like it....I will be disputing the charge....360$ to use a snake is ridiculous....picture is what I got for 360$
3 months agoOur technician Michael McSweeney delivered exceptional service during our sewer inspection and maintenance. He was not only professional and thorough, but also incredibly approachable — the kind of person you feel comfortable asking any question, big or small. He took the time to walk us through every step, explained his findings clearly, and offered honest recommendations without any pressure or upselling. His expertise really shows, and his friendly demeanor made the entire process smooth and stress-free. We now have complete peace of mind thanks to his careful work. Highly recommend Michael to anyone looking for a dependable, knowledgeable, and genuinely approachable sewer inspection expert!
6 months agoThe two techs that came to house were great. John who fixed drain very friendly and knowledgeable, for them I give 5 stars. The overall experience with J Blanton was not good, took three days to get fixed as they cancelled first appointment and then promised my a morning appointment but did not show me p until 3. Dispatcher said she would call me back, never did..
6 months agoTony's Drain & Sewer Cleaning
302 S Lake St, Aurora, IL 60506, USA
(630) 596-7712We used Tony's to do annual rodding of our sewer line for roots in the pipe. Mike came out, was very professional and friendly. He took time to explain the work he did and why he did it and explain everything he found and the condition of our sewer line. He asked if we had questions and took the time to answer and explain. The price was better than many places we called and the work was thorough. We will use Tony's again and would recommend.
3 months agoMy nephew referred me toTony's Drain & Sewer Cleaning after his extremely positive experience with them a couple of years back. From my first contact, the service and professionalism was outstanding. It is so difficult to find people to trust these days and I would have zero hesitation recommending Tony's to family and friends alike. My email was responded to very quickly and the appointment was set with an extremely competitive quote up front before they even came out. We had a very difficult tree root issue invading our pipes and we dealt with Mike, Noah and George, three fantastic guys that were friendly, honest and unbelievably hard working. They employed their Hydro Jet service to clean out our drainage pipe and spent a lot of extra time to make sure things were done right. Mike explained everything and always involved us in every step of the process. We are planning to have them back to put in an outside clean out in the near future. This is a first rate company with wonderful, conscientious and knowledgable employees. Amazing experience.
3 months agoOutstanding service and price! I have annual maintenance service for my sewer line to get rid of roots. The staff person was on time, kept the service within the estimated reasonable price range, and made several good suggestions. Will definitely call Tony's again for future services.

1424 W 55th Pl, Countryside, IL 60525, USA
(708) 497-9757Alex was truly amazing and left no stone unturned before having to do some pretty major pipework on the overhead sewer line in the basement in our old Oak Park home. And he did a beautiful and careful job at that.
3 months agoHad a blockage in my kitchen sink and reached out to Rooter Plumbing & Sewer. They returned my call promptly and made an appointment the following day. They were right on time. He spent quite a bit of time working on the blockage but got it! He explained things thoroughly to me, very friendly, and cleaned up afterwards. Will keep their name and number and use again.
11 months agoAlex was very responsive, professional, prompt, and reasonably priced. He explained the problem and issue thoroughly, and welcomed our questions. We recommend him highly, without reservation. Nice guy, too!
3 years agoCourtesy Plumbing
751 N Bolingbrook Dr Link 10, Bolingbrook, IL 60440, USA
(630) 759-8999I noticed my sump pump line outside my unit was bubbling water over the outside pipe. I called Courtesy Plumbing and they arrived at my unit within an hour. Justin performed an assessment and determined my line was full of roots from surrounding trees. To remediate the issue, another piece of equipment was needed and maybe a second person. Justin was able to add another drainage line to push water away from my unit until he was able to return with equipment. Justin was able to rod out the line and I could not believe the mass amount of roots he removed!!! Justin is always professional, detailed, knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything that needs to be done for repair. I am always happy and satisfied with all the plumbing work Courtesy performs for me!! I highly recommend them!! Thank you Justin for resolving this matter so quickly!!! Pam😀
8 months agoCourteous plumber Dave even cleaned up the area after rodding my pipes. These guys did the courtesy of that so good name. We sent the camera into pipe to ensure it was clear to the street. Definitely far superior service than other plumbers I have tried in the past. Will call them back next time.
3 months agoThe plumber was on time, and.done a great job for me, that made me very,.very happy..And I liked hos work as well as his clean up behind himself. 3 months agoJ. Blanton Plumbing, Sewer & Drain
200 S Main St Suite 3, Naperville, IL 60540, USA
(331) 330-7403We opened up our finished basement to do some remodeling, and found the main gas line on the floor, badly corroded, as a result of continuous water intrusion. (You can see the corroded gas line in the first photo-basically a ticking time bomb!) Shane from J Blanton came out, worked with us on the quote, and Edwin and Peter were scheduled within two days. It was a tricky route for the new pipe - tying into an offset T, moving the new pipe up higher (obviously), avoiding PVC drains, sump pump discharges, and electrical conduit. They were friendly, efficient, and did great work - photos of the finished product below.
9 months agoAlex Cruz from J. Blanton Plumbing did an excellent job i specifically requested an early appointment and he arrived right on time around 8:30 AM, which I really appreciated he worked very hard for almost 4 to 5 hours straight and handled everything professionally. My water wasn’t running at all, and Alex stayed focused until he fully fixed the issue and got the water running again in my house he was knowledgeable, and clearly cared about doing the job right. You can tell he puts real effort into his work. I’m very satisfied with the service and would definitely recommend Alex Cruz and J. Blanton Plumbing to anyone
4 months agoIf I could have given this company ZERO stars or negative stars that would have been my rating. NEVER do business with this company!!!!!!!!! They lie repeatedly about their service calls and are EXTREMELY expensive for what they do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have NEVER dealt with a worse company in my life!!!!!! I just needed a valve replacement under my sink for a new dishwasher to be installed. I talked to J. Blanton Plumbing and scheduled the work to be done the following week on a Tuesday. The dishwasher was being installed the next day. On Tuesday, a plumber wearing a "pretty" J. Blanton sweatshirt shows up NOT to do the work but to upsell me on having more plumbing work done!!!! I told him he just needs to get the valve replaced as I was promised and he responds that he just drives a shell of a truck and has no repair equipment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And that they would send a plumber out the next day which is when the dishwasher is coming!!!!!!!!!!! After I pointed that out, I was promised a plumber at 8:00 a.m. Wednesday morning and got my delivery pushed back as much as they could on Wednesday. The pretty sweatshirt knew that the work requirements were and I was promised the plumber would be here. I even called 3x later on Tuesday to ensure they would stand behind their commitment. Well, it's now Wednesday and no plumber showed at 8. I called again at 8:50 and was told they would send someone over right away. I called at 9:30 as no plumber yet and was told I was someone's next stop but they couldn't tell me when that would be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My dishwasher delivery window is 10 - 2!!!!! And this worthless, lying company knew this. BOTTOM LINE: Do not do business with them as it will be greater headaches that your current plumbing issues. There are many good, reliable plumbers out there - J. Blanton is NOT ONE OF THEM!!!!!!!
4 months agoJim Wagner Plumbing, Inc.
51 Eisenhower Ln S, Lombard, IL 60148, USA
(630) 454-1510I did a thorough review of 5 local plumbers, including taking time to read reviews/ratings, preferred local and family-owned business, quality and certifications. I plugged each into AI and selected 3 and reached out/put in a request for a call back on their website. First, Jim Wagner reached out same day (and it was a Saturday!), another one reached out 3 business days later, and the other one never reached out. I went with Jim Wagner, and I am so happy I did. They had a call off, and called to ask if I could move my appointment to a later time in the day - no problem. Christopher showed up promptly at the time promised, and he was friendly, explained everything in detail, was very transparent with cost, provided a coupon online I was not aware of, and spent a lot of time here ensuring the problem with our drain was fixed. For the record, the cost for them to come out was a little less than the others I researched, and second - I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for, but of course value has to accompany the cost, and I firmly believe it did. I would and will use them again, and will recommend them to friends and family. They have created a loyal customer in me.
7 months agoWe were really happy with the customer service at Jim Wagner. Someone came within the hour to look at our water heater. Our plumber Kevin was awesome!! He was honest, thorough, and friendly. He was able to get our new water heater installed that day and within 3 hours. The price seemed average too. We will definitely work with them again!
3 months agoThey came out the day I called to evaluate the situation and provide a quote immediately. We wound up replacing my old concrete laundry tub and galvanized pipes with a new fiberglass tub and PVC pipes, new copper, new faucet and shut off valves. They were fast, friendly, clean, and efficient! Highly recommend them.
4 months agoProfessional Drain Cleaning in Romeoville, Illinois
Finding a reliable plumber in Romeoville shouldn't feel like a full-time job. Whether you're living in a newer development near Weber Road or an established home closer to the Des Plaines River, drainage issues can happen at any time. When a sink backs up or a floor drain overflows, you don't have time to call a dozen different companies only to be told they are booked for the week.
That’s where our unique verification service comes in. We maintain a network of the 15 most qualified plumbing professionals in the Romeoville area. Instead of leaving you to guess who is available, we filter our experts by your specific zip code and personally call them to verify they have a technician ready to head to your home right now. You get the peace of mind that comes with knowing the pro we connect you with is ready to work.
Common Drain Issues in Romeoville, Illinois
Hard Water Mineral Buildup: Romeoville and the surrounding Will County area are known for having relatively hard water. Over time, calcium and magnesium deposits can narrow the interior of your pipes, leading to slow-moving drains and frequent clogs that traditional retail cleaners can't fix.
Tree Root Intrusion: In the more established neighborhoods of Romeoville, mature trees provide beautiful shade but can wreak havoc underground. Roots seeking moisture often penetrate older sewer lines, causing significant blockages and potential sewage backups into your basement or crawlspace.
Kitchen Grease and Disposal Misuse: With many busy families calling Romeoville home, kitchen drains take a beating. Years of fats, oils, and fibrous food scraps settling in the pipes can create 'fatbergs' that require professional snaking or hydro-jetting to clear completely.
Sump Pump and Floor Drain Issues: Because of the local topography and proximity to the river, many Romeoville homes rely heavily on sump pumps. If your floor drain is backing up during a heavy Illinois thunderstorm, it often indicates a blockage in the main line that needs immediate professional attention.
Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for Romeoville, Illinois
Spring Thaw Prep: As the ground thaws and spring rains arrive in the Village of Romeoville, ensure your basement floor drains are clear of debris. This prevents localized flooding if your sump pump is working overtime.
Summer BBQ Maintenance: During the humid Illinois summers, avoid putting corn husks, grease, or watermelon rinds down your garbage disposal. These are the most common causes of summer kitchen clogs we see in the area.
Fall Leaf Debris: Before the first freeze, check your outdoor drains and gutters. Keeping these clear prevents trapped water from freezing and expanding, which can cause pipes to crack or pull away from your home's exterior.
Winter Pipe Protection: During extreme cold snaps, keep your cabinet doors open to let warm air reach the pipes. If you notice a drain slowing down in December or January, it could be a sign of a partial ice blockage that needs professional thawing.
Average Drain Cleaning Costs in Romeoville, Illinois
Pricing in Romeoville typically depends on the severity of the clog and the equipment required. A simple sink snaking usually falls on the lower end, while main sewer line clearing or hydro-jetting for stubborn roots will be higher.
Frequently Asked Questions about Drain Cleaning in Romeoville, Illinois
How quickly can I get a plumber to my home in Romeoville?
Because we call and verify 24-hour availability before connecting you, we can often find a technician who can be at your Romeoville home within 2 to 4 hours of your request.
Are the plumbers in your network familiar with Will County building codes?
Yes, we only work with certified plumbers who are licensed to operate in Romeoville and Will County, ensuring all drain repairs meet local safety and building standards.
Why shouldn't I just use a chemical drain cleaner from the store?
Romeoville homes often have a mix of PVC and older copper or galvanized piping. Harsh chemicals can corrode these pipes and often fail to remove the tough mineral scale common in our local water supply.
Do you service homes near Lewis University and the airport area?
Absolutely. Our zip code filtering covers the entire Romeoville area, including neighborhoods near Lewis University, Mistwood, and all residential zones along the Weber Road corridor.
What if my drain clogs on a weekend or a holiday?
Our verification service is designed for exactly this situation. We scan our network for 24-hour emergency plumbers in Romeoville and confirm they are actually on call before we recommend them to you.
