Horrible customer service! I called them first in December about an issue, they came out to assess the problem, and then I had to call them back twice over the course of a month to finally get the job scheduled. No follow through! Then when I had a legitimate concern about the work that was performed, the owner Darwyn was extremely rude to me, told me that was a personal issue, and hung up on me! You don't treat customers like that. I typically try to support black-owned businesses because I want to support my own, but I will never patronize this business ever again.

We had a sewer backup at our residence and after one company failed to clear it, Jeff came out to try clearing the sewer lines himself. He worked us into his schedulevery quickly, trying to save us some money and headache of digging up our yard. Unfortunately, the situation was worse than expected. We did have to have our exterior sewer pipe excavated and a 6" cleanout installed to clear tree roots. They gave us an extremely reasonable price and got us up and going the same day! If anyone in the Belleville area needs sewer line work, C&L is the one to call!!!

Called C&L and talked with Jeff about some sewer issues I was having due to settling on the outside against the foundation. Explained the issue and even sent a picture to Jeff for his advice, he was great to talk with and very helpful. Jeff walked me through step by step what I needed to do, very pleasant to talk with. Followed his advice and was able to do the project myself, all fixed now. The information and advice he gave was just way beyond anything anyone one else would have done. We contacted Ian with an urgent request for a sewer pipe cleaning and he was able to meet us on the same day and clear it out. He worked on it late into the night until around 8:00 pm which we greatly appreciate it. Throughout it all he was friendly, knowledgeable, and answered all of our questions and showed us via video the obstructions on the pipe and how it looked after it was cleaned. We truly appreciate his service and will definitely used him in the future for any plumbing related issues for our house.

Service was GREAT! Quick response same day service. Was able to come out after 5:30 pm to solve my impromptu kitchen / garbage disposal sink clog. He explained the problem and solution, kept a clean working space, was kind to pets and kids. Gave advice on how to avoid the clog from happening again. Ian has done a wonderful job helping us with our plumbing issues. He has helped us with a couple leaks, replacing some old cast iron pipes, and replacing a troublesome toilet. Ian is very knowledgeable, polite, and makes an effort to make sure the customer has been taken care of. I would recommend to everyone and plan on contacting him again for future projects!

I Highly recommend Andrew with Plain plumbing in the Flesh! He came in the evening to tackle a crazy root clog in my kitchen drain and got it all cleared up in no time! Five stars!

Called them Wednesday morning. Our floor drain in basement was backed up. Ron said he would get a serviceman out shortly. Greg came out about an hour later and within a couple hours he had us all opened back up and running like new. Greg is an excellent worker and a very well spoken young man. I will admit our go to is usually roto rooter but I am so glad we found Nelson’s plumbing. My husband and I own a older home and once a year our main lateral clogs. When we called roto rooter and three other companies (based on the list google gave us) many would not see us until 10am the next day. Tonight was rather busy due to the rain. My husband and I were concern if we could not get anyone out to our home tonight our basement would flood due to the clog and the heavy rain fall. I called Nelson’s plumbing and they were able to see use within the hour and fix our problem in no time. We are so appreciative of their business. They were very responsive and were very professional. Highly recommend and will be recommending them to our friends and family.

I had to have my sewer line replace from the house almost to the alley I had several estimates and Nelson's was by far less expensive about $7,000 less expensive than the next one I was very impressed with his professionalism and with his subcontractor they were amazing they did a great job they went above and beyond and even did extra they removed an old stump out of my backyard with a backhoe at no charge and I'm telling you the best decision I made was hiring Nelson's Plumbing because this was no easy job they had to actually dig with a shovel under my house about 10 ft deep to get to the Old Clay pipe that had collapsed I don't know how they did it but they did it I'm so impressed and they got on it immediately and they got it done quickly I could not be any happier and it added a ton of value to my house for when it sells the next people are going to know that they don't have to worry about the sewer lines

I woke up to a clogged sewer this morning. I called Alpha Sewer and left a message. They called back within a few minutes and arrived at my home 15 minutes later. The two young men who performed the work were very personable and professional. They cleared the clog (tree roots) and then verified the entire run was clear. Their work was outstanding and I was very happy with the price. Alpha is now my go-to company for sewer issues and I highly recommend them to everyone.

I was recommended this business and was happy with the outcome. They were prompt, professional and the price seemed unreasonably high. I only needed a toliet clog opened and $146 was the price. They were there a total of about 20 mins. The price was given after the fact. I needed them, so I paid.

I recently had to replace my septic system and went with Mars after getting a few bids. Mars wasn’t the lowest, and they weren’t the highest, but I felt the most comfortable with them because John’s experience was clear and stood out when working with him. Had a tech come out in October to flush my main clean out line only to have to call & have them come back January for the same thing & pay again. The 2nd tech even said all he did was insert the camera line & everything went through. So he really did nothing but show up 2 hours after I received a text that said he was on his way *UPDATE* The 2nd tech didn't give me NO ESTIMATE!!!! before he did the NO WORK nor afterwards. As I stated to him, I was under the impression that since it was less than 90 days since the 1st visit, this would be free follow-up. He stated that soon as he inserted the camera, the waste ran right through & he NEVER used any machine. He then gave me the same price I previously paid & I said for what????? I paid him in cash & told him I'd be sure to never use your services again.

Excellent customer service, emergency support via phone to restore heat before a huge snowstorm and affordable price for maintenance. Polar gave me honest assessment and options for repair versus replace. Trust is high because they deliver peace of mind and real value in their services and products.

This was our second engagement with Polar. They insulated the ductwork in our crawlspace and replaced the 30-year old gas furnace and A/C with a hybrid heat pump. The team was very efficient, polite and clean (they insist on wearing shoe coverings). They were able to do the whole system in one day because they had walked through it at the shop before showing up. And the Polar office staff was on top of things, even reaching out to get the info for our energy rebates. That shows that they care about the cost and our happiness with the project. Of course, they walked us through the installation. We have dealt with a few nightmare companies on our remodel projects, but Polar showed us that good companies and good people are still out there!
