Expert Drain Cleaning in Phenix City, AL

It was late on a Saturday afternoon and my son walked out of the basement and was surprised to have fallen in a hole! Upon inspection I discovered it was a hole over the septic tank. We made 4 or 5 calls of septic companies advertising open 24/7 and Ken at TurdBusters called back right away. We FaceTimed some pictures and he said they’d be right over. 45 minutes his crew was here looking it over and pumping the septic tank. It seemed the entire lid (from 1998) had collapsed into the tank. They secured the area and left after dark. We discussed cost for lid and agreed to proceed. Tuesday they returned to replace the lid. When digging out space to put in the new lid the old tank itself started crumbling. This required major surgery and a whole new plan to replace the whole tank and hook ups in and out. We discussed the additional project costs, and agreed to proceed. The entire time Ken and crew answered all questions and explained our options and their recommendations and why. They got all permissions from Troup County and we even got to meet with the county inspector and ask questions ourselves. The only thing we didn’t have to redo was the drain field thankfully. It took a couple of days to get all the plumbing and risers and concrete tanks but now we have a brand new UP TO CODE and fully legally compliant septic system. Only issue we noticed was when after they were done and we were cleaning up getting ready for grass replacement, the downhill or outlet riser tank lid had been cracked (like a digging machine hit it or a rock dropped on it). We called Ken and with no issue or complaint he got us a replacement lid and had it on in a couple of days. Expensive and unexpected? Yes. But I’ll say TurdBusters was there for us and did everything they said and quality was great. Can’t recommend them highly enough especially if you need major replacements and need to bring a 30 year old septic system to code and back to working order.

Jed came out on a Sunday to unclog my toilet. I told him there is something stuck at the end of it. He said it was fixed but the next day I could not use it again. I have called him 5 times to come back out but he won't return my call. Very unprofessional!!

Jed was wonderful. He was able to come out the same day I called. His price was affordable and his work was great. He was patient and kind. There were issues with the pipes and valves after the installation and he made a trip back just to ensure that everything was working properly. He completed the job efficiently and was extremely professional. If you need someone dependable and well equipped, this is your guy!

Always call the city first for Main line drain issues ,Columbus water works.Let them take care of that portion at no charge first..It saves everyone a lot of time and money.Mussellman can handle the rest if you have issues after that..He’s always been a blessing for unstopping our drain lines,His price is half of the going rate from companies around town…Example,Dixie plumbing wanted 700.00 just to snake the main line….Also do understand,every situation can be different,but whatever the situation ends up being,you can rely on Mussellman to treat you fair,and he will give the most honest opinion,or recommendation if it’s something he doesn’t do..

I was referred to Jim by another plumbing company that could not come for a couple of days. I called Jim and explained that I was replacing the faucet, shutoff valve and the galvanize nipples in the bathroom. I could not loosen the galvanized nipple on the cold side to save my life. He showed up about 15 minutes later. I don't know if he was in between calls, but I wasn't expecting that fast of service. He had it off in no time. What a blessing this guy was to me. Thank you, Jim. I will definitely call you if there is something I can't do myself.

Walter was great! Went to work right away to find the leak and he was very professional in explaining the repairs! Minimal damage because they were able to pull out the stove and only go through the concrete slab and not my kitchen tile!

My water heater started leaking and it was rotting from the inside out, luckily my mother in law found this place and told me to call and see about a replacement. I called for help (water service leaking through the roof onto the gas appliances!), they answered promptly and came within a couple of hours. It was early evening so Brad came back the next morning and installed a new service for us. All done in a few hours. I’m so grateful and will absolutely recommend this company and Brad.

Should have just found a YouTube video and tried to fix my flapper DIY-style. Do not use this company in Columbus! They came to do a simple repair and ended up cracking my entire toilet tank. The crack clearly begins where the new flapper was installed. My tank is currently leaking toilet water on my bathroom floor. The tech also did a $500 repair on my washing machine (cold water wasn't working). He told me it was fixed, drove away, and when I went to do a cold water wash, the water was even more hot than before. Already had to have him return to fix that. Now awaiting another tech on a Saturday to look at their shoddy work on my toilet. Beware. Their 100% guarantee is a lie and the manager, Bradley McKinsey, claimed this wasn't covered by my service warranty. I promise I didn't sit here and crack my tank and I'm not trying to scam for a new toilet tank...I have better things to do on a Saturday. All I know was tank was fine, Dixie came to perform a simple repair and inspection in my bathroom, and within a few weeks I have a cracked tank with toilet water running on the floor. Just a side note: their estimate for fixing the tank was over $600. I looked up the part at Lowe's and it is $92. Absolutely insane. Do not call them. Find someone else or do it yourself! Update: Dixie made it right after speaking to the GM, Joe Banks. Though they did deny any responsibility for the crack in the tank, they did come out and install a completely new toilet at no cost. The employees who came out on this day, Tyler and Cam, were very friendly and professional. I appreciate you all working to rectify the situation

I have worked with Dixie in the past and knew I wanted to use them again. Jared has been wonderful to work with so far. He's very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. He took a lot of time telling me the things another company hadn't done correctly. Wires not connected and just plain trashy looking. He also presented me several options along with financing which was very doable considering all I'm having done. I can't wait for him to get started. Update: Jared and his crew came out and I couldn't be happier. Everything looks so nice and works as it's supposed to. I highly recommend Dixie Electric and even recommend Jared even more!

Went on line on a Saturday night + was contacted within the hour on what my issue was with electric in house! The two men came promptly Monday afternoon on a set time previously waving the initial fee to assess issues. They charted down what material were needed & returned the same day to fix issues! They were courteous, prompt, + thorough working quickly to address electric issues in my kitchen. Extremely happy & satisfied with their quality of work leaving no mess & did not complain about six small dogs walking around from time to time . I highly recommend this life saving company to any one needing fast, affordable , courteous service with a smile!

If you choose any other plumbing company but blue frog then you are making a big mistake. Not only did they fix my issue, which was a bad water line, they advised me on how to report it to my insurance and was extremely helpful and saved me a lot of money. I called roto rooter first and they sent a tech out and charged me 75.00 just to let me know the tech didnt have the tools with him to get the job done and the earliest they could fix it would have been 3 days later and they were almost 2,000.00 higher than what blue frog charged me and they gave me no advice regarding my insurance. BlueFrog is the real deal. Ask for Seth, he serviced my call and did a phenomenal job!!!! They will be the ones I reach out to first if I ever experience any other plumbing issues.

First, the communication with this company " BLUE FROG" and technician was awesome, clear on instructions. Also punctuential, on time and very expedient. The technician, James is well experienced and knowledgeable and did an exceptional job. He was done with his helper in a matter of times with a result of excellence.

I had an issue that needed to be urgently addressed on a Saturday. The response - both the time and the conversation - was better than I could have anticipated. From Kristen (I think that was her name) on the phone, and James the technician, the professionalism and empathy was exceptional. They were clear/accurate on the time estimates throughout each step (when I'd hear back on an eta, and then the eta). I highly recommend this company!

Great service, on time, thorough job, polite technician who stayed with the work until it was finished and the system was operating correctly. He checked every bathroom multiple times and replaced everything as it was, PLUS he turned off the lights in each room as he left! Fast, knowledgeable and efficient.

Ryan and his crew did a great job replacing our water line. had to cut the driveway and closed it up right away and covered up the grass where they had to dig. Called on a Tuesday about having a failing leaking water heater needing replacement. Bobby came out that afternoon and was able to spec out the job and give a quote, which I went with. The next afternoon Bobby and Jed came out and did the replacement and brought the install up to code. They were professional and did the job in a timely manner. I woke up this morning to a plumbing emergency... waste water was backing up into our basement area. I called three other companies to see when they could be here. They were all sadly unavailable. I called Drain King and the nice lady said "we can squeeze you in today!" About an hour later, I get a call and she says "I have a guy that just finished a job right down the road from you. Can we come right now?" ABSOLUTELY! Michael showed up ready to solve the problem and boy did he do a good job! Prompt. Courteous. Well spoken. Good eye contact. Cleaned up the work area. Shared ideas how to resolve some issues long-term. Provided a senior citizen/military discount. All good. Based on this one interaction, I highly recommend the Drain King team!

Really great people, very professional and knowledgeable. They handled a kit sink drain that another company spent 1.5 hrs trying to fix and couldn't. Hammock plumbing had issue fixed in 20 minutes.
