Dany’s Plumbing
8409 Lou Ct, Louisville, KY 40219, USA
(801) 635-8368After many weeks of dealing with a clogged drain in our home, we decided to contact Danny’s Plumbing. Scheduling the appointment was quick and easy, they arrived on time, and the service was outstanding. From the quality of the work to the professionalism of the plumbers, everything exceeded our expectations. They wore gloves, used protective coverings to avoid leaving any mess, and were kind and helpful in explaining every step of the drain-cleaning process. The job was completed efficiently, and before leaving, they even asked if we needed help with anything else in the house. We are extremely pleased with the service provided by Danny’s Plumbing and will gladly recommend them to anyone in need of reliable plumbing services.
1 month ago2nd time we've had Dany's Plumbing out for main sewer line clog. Extremely fast response time, and they waste no time in resolving the issue when on site. Clean, courteous and professional. 5 Stars all day! 100% would recommend.
3 months agoGreat experience! I know next to nothing about plumbing and our kitchen sink has been having problems. I reached out to Danys Plumbing and they were quick to get to us, extremely reasonable on price, and worked quickly to make our sink better than ever. Highly recommend!!

6311 Krause Ave, Louisville, KY 40216, USA
(502) 302-8299I had a clogged kitchen sink and Jimmy showed up a few hours after I called him. It ended up being a clogged line under my basement floor. They had to come back out the next day with a bigger machine and was able to push it through. Great customer service from him and his employee! I will be a returning customer.
4 months agoVery satisfied with time of response and service provided. This business was recommended by a friend. Removed kitchen drain clog over a weekend on a Sunday. Clog was over 60 feet from sink. Thank you Jimmy!

1 year agoTom Drexler Plumbing, Air & Electric
3718 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218, USA
(502) 206-4261Both Chad and Terrence were courteous and professional on this job. I am completely satisfied with the results. I have both a clogged sewer line and it turns out a leak from the water meter into the house and this was fixed in short order. I would recommend Tom Drexel to anyone for plumbing problems.
2 months agoWe hired Tom Drexler to enlarge our small shower Which consisted of demolition, removing a wall, moving the plumbing , rebuilding the wall and installing the shower surround . I will give them a pass on the fact that they did nothing to protect my home from the dust that was created during their demolition as due to other circumstances, my house was not pristinely clean when they arrived. I will give them a pass on the poor workmanship shown in the drywall, exposed screws, size discrepancy of the new wall, and poorly cut molding that they just reused - as I assume they are plumbers and not drywall experts. But when I finally got into the shower to use the water, hot was cold and cold was hot - I would assume that plumbers would hook up the water correctly. And while the finished shower is a significant improvement over the shower we had, I do have some concern for the workmanship I can’t see as the workmanship I can see is far less than expected
1 week agoI had a great experience with Corey from Tom Drexler. From the moment he arrived, he was professional, friendly, and took the time to listen to my concerns. He explained everything clearly and made sure I understood my options before starting any work. Corey was very thorough in diagnosing the issue and made sure the job was done right the first time. He worked efficiently, kept the area clean, and showed real pride in his work. He also took the time to give me helpful information about their membership program and how it can help with maintenance and savings, which I really appreciated. Thanks to Corey, everything was fixed quickly and professionally. He is a true asset to Tom Drexler, and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for reliable and trustworthy service. I will definitely request him again.
3 weeks agoNoah's Plumbing & Water Heaters
150 N Hurstbourne Pkwy #354, Louisville, KY 40222, USA
(502) 236-9352i recently needed a plumber to clear a blocked drain in my dog run, which connects to the landscape drain. while trying to fix it myself, i accidentally lost a blow bag down the pipe. brantley and kyle from Noah's Plumbing & Water Heaters showed up quickly and were ready with all the right plumbing tools like a camera, hydro jet, and pipe locator. they figured out they needed to dig up and open the pipe to get the lost bag out before unclogging the drain. the crew handled everything smoothly from start to finish, working efficiently and keeping the price fair, with no surprise charges. the service was really straightforward and honest, which i liked. if i ever need help with plumbing again, i know who to call.
2 weeks agoThe team at Noah's Plumbing & Water Heaters is always friendly, polite, and ready to lend a hand. Randall in the office was easy to talk to and made sure my plumbing issue was handled quickly. Jaxon and Brantley, the plumbers who came out, worked together well. After a long day, I had a busted water pipe in my basement. I shut off the main valve to stop the flooding, and they arrived soon after. They quickly isolated the problem pipe so I could still have water in the rest of my house. Even though it was late, they made sure everything was safe before heading home for the night. They returned the next day and finished the repair, and now everything works perfectly. I really appreciate their hard work and fast response. I’ll definitely call them again for any plumbing needs.
2 weeks agoI called Noah's Plumbing & Water Heaters when I had a problem with my hot water not working in Louisville. Brantley showed up just 30 minutes after I called and quickly got everything fixed so I had hot water again. He was friendly, professional, and it was clear he really cared about helping his customers. The service I received was much better than my experience with other plumbers in the past. I was really impressed by the quality of the work and how quickly the job was done. I’ll definitely use them again for any plumbing needs, and I would recommend their services to my friends.
1 month agoMaeser Master Services
11101 Electron Dr, Louisville, KY 40299, USA
(502) 209-7848Clayton called and let me know he was promptly on the way. When he arrived he introduced himself, and looked at our dryer. My dryer vent was super clogged with lint build-up. Clayton and his partner helped clear it very quickly! I appreciate their help making the situation worry-free. Thank you.
1 week agoWarning: Poor HVAC installation and deceptive practices. We had our upstairs HVAC system replaced in June 2022 through Home Depot/Maeser for over $8,700. From day one, it had problems and never heated the upstairs properly, requiring numerous service calls. In October 2024, the system failed again, blowing cold air while Maeser falsely claimed someone rewired it and tried to charge us $249. Security footage and thermostat data proved no one touched it. But they refuse to review this information. In December 2025, the system failed again in cold weather. A second opinion from Allegiance Heating & Air found multiple installation defects and a code violation, including a mis-sloped PVC exhaust pipe, bypassed safety switch, leaks, and improper tubing. The PVC exhaust pipe does not allow proper drainage causing a pressure switch fault preventing preventing the gas value to turn on to allow the use of the AUX heat. The service tech showed me that someone knew the drain piping was not correct because there are signs of attempts to correct it. There is a metal strip at the top of the PVC piping trying to increase the angle of the pipe. There is a coupler on the PVC pipe where it has been cut to try and increase the angle of the piping. He stated the cutting of the pipe had to have been done less than two years ago because the coupler was a new design that was changed less than 2 years ago. Now Home Depot and Maeser are refusing to correct the issues. Despite these documented issues, Home Depot and Maeser refuse to fix the system, leaving us to pay for repairs ourselves. Attached is a document with more detailed information on the issues and email on service call appointments over the years. Next step is to send this information to my attorney to look at my legal options to get a refund for the cost of correcting Maeser’s/Home Depot’s installation issues.
2 months agoWe got lucky that Wasim was coming off his lunch break and was available! He was a life saver after our water heater broke at 4am. We reached out to multiple different companies and no one was able to get anyone out here anytime soon. We had to get a whole new water heater but he went above and beyond! He arrived 30 minutes after our call at noon and everything just worked out great!
2 months agoDauenhauer Plumbing Heating Air & Electric
3416 Robards Ct, Louisville, KY 40218, USA
(502) 219-3297Chris took great care to be certain our sewer clog was cleared. He communicated the price & action plan clearly & quoted a couple of scenarios for replacing vs capping our basement toilet, including the need to pick up parts for capping it (we decided to cap it until the flooring & drywall repairs are handled). He ran water in multiple areas to ensure the clog was resolved & communicated the 6 months call-back warranty on the clog clearing at the end of the visit. Chris represented your company very well. He was polite & thorough & considerate of my 2 curious cats. We will definitely call your company for future repairs & service!!
1 week agoI was very pleased with my service. I had multiple other plumbers take a look at a problem we have been dealing with off and on for years. Each had different answers and some extraordinary estimates. Dauenhauer were on time, quick, efficient, clean, professional and pleasant. Most importantly they were good at their job and fixed our issue. They went above and beyond. I greatly appreciate the services. Thank you to Aaron & Ezra & Jaden for providing great service.
3 weeks agoJeremy was awesome and patient. The previous company claimed I needed to have my vanity removed. Jeremy was able to complete the task without anyone having to remove it. My valves were replaced without a mess. I’ve used Dauehauer in the past and will continue to use them in the future. 😁
1 month agoBenjamin Franklin Plumbing
3832 Taylorsville Rd #4, Louisville, KY 40220, USA
(502) 653-5332Dan and his team did a fantastic job helping me with an emergency plumbing repair. They didn't have any openings in the schedule, but they were able to get someone to our house after normal closing hours to fix a major sink clog for me. They did great! Solid work, good cleanup, and reasonably priced. I love these guys!
1 month agoBenjamin Franklin is very professional and top notch with customer service. We had a wonderful experience with Stella whom is very organized, upbeat and a great communicator. Anthony and Mark came out and replaced our tankless water heater along with installing a Halo5 conditioning treatment. Explained everything very thoroughly and were so nice. We are very pleased with the results and could tell right away the difference in our water quality. We just moved here and were pretty nervous at first about needing new plumbers. Benjamin Franklin squashed all our fears and we are so relieved to know that we can trust them for our future services! Great job guys, thank you so much! 👏
1 month agoWe had a gas line ran to our fire place. Andrew and Anthony were awesome! Both are very knowledgeable and patient with all our questions, they explained all to us and showed us what we needed to do. I had several estimates. They had better price that comes with a guarantee. I would highly recommend them. Benjamin Franklin plumbing, they are great. Thank you both!
5 months agoASI Plumbing
4310 Bishop Ln, Louisville, KY 40218, USA
(502) 271-1331ASI Plumbing was wonderful to work with. They gave us our second quote for replacing the sewer pipe and sump pump. It was much lower than the first estimate. Jimmy, Cora, Heather and Austin were a delight to work with. The crew of gentlemen were kind and worked diligently. They went above and beyond for us. I highly recommend ASI Plumbing.
10 months agoMy hot water heater went out unexpectedly the day before yesterday, and as a healthcare worker, not being able to take a hot shower to wash away the germs from work was especially stressful. Logan and Michael from ASI Plumbing came out today and installed a brand-new unit. They were professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything, even teaching me a few helpful things along the way. I truly appreciate their prompt service and expertise.
3 weeks agoDaniel was great- he was punctual, professional, laid down mats and cleaned up after himself. I noticed some water on his shoe cover and asked him to change it as an extra precaution. He didn’t realize there was some water and happy to change it- no attitude or eye roll. I was impressed with the service and plan to switch to them in the future.
1 month agoYSOP
5750 Budd Rd, New Albany, IN 47150, USA
(812) 972-0292It’s hard to explain just how amazing Jerry and his team were, but they are literally the best repair team I have ever worked with. As a homeowner, discovering that you have a very significant plumbing issue is a scary and anxiety-inducing situation, especially when you discover this major issue only 3 weeks before your first baby is due to be born. After calling his team to come do what we thought would be pretty routine sewer snaking, we discovered that our old cast iron pipe system in our basement totally rotted out and it quickly turned into a major project. However, Jerry was extremely helpful, understanding, and kind when it came to helping us determine the issue, make a plan, and execute it - all at an extremely great rate for the size of the project. He fully explained everything he was doing, his team did excellent work totally replacing and updating our cellar basement piping, and they actually ended up leaving our basement the cleanest I have ever seen it! This is the kind of team and business you want yon your side. Every worker - Jerry, Coty, Aiden, Tanner - were all very professional, absolute workhorses, and will 100 percent be our go-to plumbers from now on. Thank you guys so much, you made a very stressful situation much better and we will shout from the rooftops that everyone needs to use Your 2nd Opinion Plumbing for projects big and small!
1 month agoFrom quote to job completion Cody was amazing. Very personable and highly knowledgeable. While for my pockets sake (this is a joke, the prices are fair) I don't need more work in the near future when I do I will be calling these guys. The quotes are fair and broken down in an easy to read way and they do a great job at explaining everything. I was able to get them in and my water heater replaced within a day.
2 weeks agoTotal remodel of our bath. Removed tub and replaced with a beautiful shower. New toilet, vanity, lights, painting, and flooring. Professional, very helpful, Fair prices and excellent workmanship. BONUS! They clean up everyday after working. Jerry, Amanda and their crew were awesome. Kept us in the loop for any decisions, and arrival times. When you remodel a bath, you want a plumber doing the job, not a contractor. Will use for plumbing issues and future bath remodels.
3 months agoNine Line Plumbing
143-1 Hamilton Ct Suite 3A, Louisville, KY 40229, USA
(502) 601-4849Had clogged sink drain in the bathroom. After some unsuccessful adventures with my dad we gave up and called in. They had Kyle out within a matter of hours. 2 hours after showing up everything working according. Price quoted was spot on and fair. While he was there noticed the clogged drain could do to be updated and that sink and one additional sink needed to be replaced as they were falling out of the walls. He was extremely polite and knowledgeable and the price point was reasonable we went ahead with the quote and got everything done. Kyle and his team went above and beyond what was asked. Highly recommend!
2 years agoThey were amazing, for my 135yo house: Set a price, for a "rootering", and then backed off on some of it, when discovery showed that the sewer lines were SERIOUSLY OLD. (Clay pipes, from the house, to the meter). I will recommend them to ANYONE, as the Veterans they are, and work with them in future💚
4 months agoI couldn't have been happier or more satisfied with their work. They had the most reasonable price for the job and I got many estimates. They also had to work around the work schedule of others in the shop, They lived up to every single thing they promised to do without having to be pushed & always on time. I highly recommend Nine Line Plumbing. Incredibly professional company! I would use them again in a heart beat!
4 months agoProfessional Drain Cleaning in Louisville
Whether you are dealing with a slow-moving sink in the Highlands or a major sewer backup in St. Matthews, finding a reliable plumber shouldn't be a guessing game. In Louisville, the mix of historic architecture and rapid suburban growth means plumbing needs can vary wildly from one block to the next. Our service is designed to take the stress out of the search by connecting you with a pro who is physically nearby and ready to work. We don't just provide a list of names; we actively verify availability. By filtering our network of certified Kentucky plumbers by your specific zip code, we ensure that the technician dispatched to your home is equipped to handle Louisville’s unique infrastructure. From the Ohio River's influence on local drainage to the aged clay pipes found in our older neighborhoods, we help you find the right expert for the job right now.
Common Drain Issues in Louisville
Historic Pipe Decay: Many of Louisville's older neighborhoods, such as Old Louisville and the Highlands, feature original clay or cast-iron pipes. Over time, these materials become brittle and prone to collapses or severe scale buildup that requires professional hydro-jetting to clear.
Aggressive Tree Root Intrusion: Louisville is known for its beautiful canopy of mature trees, but those roots are a nightmare for sewer lines. Searching for moisture, roots often penetrate small cracks in your main line, leading to stubborn recurring clogs that DIY solutions simply cannot fix.
Ohio River Basin Hard Water: The mineral content in our local water can lead to calcium and magnesium buildup inside your fixtures and drain lines. This 'hard water' scale narrows the passage for wastewater, making it much easier for hair and soap scum to create a complete blockage.
Flash Flooding & Storm Backup: Louisville’s weather can be unpredictable, and heavy Kentucky rainfall often overwhelms local drainage systems. If your basement floor drain starts gurgling during a storm, it’s a sign that your home’s connection to the municipal sewer needs immediate professional attention.
Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for Louisville
Winter Freeze Protection: During Kentucky’s cold snaps, ensure your outdoor hose bibs are disconnected. If a pipe freezes and then thaws, the resulting pressure can send debris down your line, causing unexpected clogs.
Spring Gutter Maintenance: After the spring rains, ensure your downspouts are clear and draining away from your foundation. In Louisville, clogged exterior drains often lead to water seeping into basements through the floor drains.
Summer Disposal Care: With BBQ season in full swing, remember that corn husks, grease, and fibrous vegetables shouldn't go down the disposal. These are the leading causes of kitchen sink backups during Louisville summers.
Fall Leaf Management: Before the first frost, clear any yard drains or area drains of fallen leaves. If left to rot, this organic matter can create a thick sludge that blocks your home's perimeter drainage system.
Average Drain Cleaning Costs in Louisville
The cost of drain cleaning in Louisville typically ranges based on the severity and location of the clog. A simple sink or tub snaking is on the lower end, while main sewer line clearing or hydro-jetting for tree roots falls on the higher end.
Frequently Asked Questions about Drain Cleaning in Louisville
How quickly can I get a drain cleaner to my home in Louisville?
Because we filter plumbers by your specific Louisville zip code and call to verify their current schedule, we can often find a technician who can arrive the same day you contact us.
Are your Louisville plumbers familiar with older plumbing in the Highlands?
Yes, we prioritize connecting you with local experts who understand the specific challenges of Louisville's historic districts, including handling cast iron pipes and clay tiles.
Do you offer 24-hour emergency drain cleaning in Jefferson County?
Absolutely. Our service specializes in verifying 24-hour availability so you don't have to call multiple companies in the middle of the night to find someone who is actually awake and mobile.

Regardless of where you are in the Metro area, our zip code filtering ensures you get a plumber who is close by, reducing travel fees and ensuring faster response times for your specific location.
