Quick Relief Plumbing
6822 Berry Rd, Kansas City, KS 66106, USA
(913) 871-4988Our old, castiron drain clogged and backed up at a basement floor drain with sewage. We were unable to use anything that went down any drain without making the pool large. Quick Relief Plumbing sent Anthony L. right out when I called on a Saturday night. He did a great job on this old system with excellent plumbing and people skills. I will be using QRP again amd would recommend without reservation.
2 months agoThis has been the best and friendliest group of people we have worked with both at home and at our other properties. I have yet to here them say "we can't do that. " By far the most reliable, on time plumbing company we dealt with over the past 6 years.
1 week agoThe service technician was on time, efficient and did the work I requested…. Plus fixed a couple of other issues in my shower! Very pleasant and considerate!! AND didn’t try to take advantage and overcharge me (which I’ve experienced in the past). I will definitely use them for any other plumbing projects. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
1 month agoA-1 Sewer & Septic
1891 Merriam Ln, Kansas City, KS 66106, USA
(913) 631-5201A1 was hired to clean the sewer line for my real estate client. Once finished they said it was cleared, but upon buyer’s reinspection, it was not. A1 had to come back a 2nd time to finish the job. They charged for the second trip despite stating it was previously cleared. Apparently from the reviews, I’m not the only one this has happened to. Because I don’t want my client to be harassed for payment, I paid for it. When something isn’t right, you take care of it….That’s how you run a business. (If my “name is not in your system” it’s because I’m not the homeowner)
1 week agoTLDR: I paid ~$5000 to have two septic riser redone. I ended up having to redo all of their work. NONE of what they installed is there. I got NOTHING for my money. I will attempt to keep this as short as I can. Drainage on my property is not great, after heavy rains water can sit on top of my septic tank for a while before it dries. I needed new risers because my existing ones were not sealed well and would allow rain water to leak into the tanks, filling them up. I explain this to A1 Septic and they said they could redo them. I will say all the techs who came on site were very nice and I believe hard working. The first time they did the install it went reasonably well. It seemed like a good job was done. During backfill however they knocked one of the risers of it's base accidentally. They acknowledged it and said they would come back out and replace it. They come back out and replace the riser. Some small things were missed during this install, for example they didn't caulk or seal around pipe penetrations. I didn't care, I could add caulking and take care of it. I thought it was finally done and I could move on with life. Around a month later some work is being done on my yard. One of the landscape vehicles got close to the riser and the dirt sank in. It was dry up top but still moist below, so the dirt pushed in a bit and shoved the riser right off the base. Exactly like what happened during the backfil. I contact A1 and they say they will come and check things out. After seeing this and how the riser attaches to the base I personally think it's a poorly designed product. It attaches by plastic clips and if those get pushed out, it's ruined. I've attached a picture showing the crappy plastic clips and how it gets shoved off. Fortunately before they come out to inspect the riser, it rains. We check the one knocked off it's base and yea, it's leaking. We check the one that is still on it and find out it's also leaking. Both have to be redone, again. They agree the risers aren't working and will redo them both. Them agreeing to do the one that got knocked off was very nice(although they never actually did it). That was more than I expected. We go back and forth for awhile. I wanted to upgrade to fiberglass risers that are stronger and can be more easily sealed to the concrete. They agree to this if I pay the difference. I agree. Supposedly they are on order and waiting. Time passes, and I call in to find a status. No call back. Repeat several times, no call back. After a few months I've decided I've been ghosted, they will not call me back. During this time I also rent an excavator and go ahead and dig everything out again. They are concerned about the rain and it not being dry enough to work so I take care of it so it's ready to go. This is another ~1200 out of my pocket. This means a fairly significant part of what they would have to do is already done. After months of waiting and hearing nothing I buy new riser systems, sealant, butyl tape, anchors, sealant, etc. I rip off the old risers and it's very easy to tell why they leak. The butyl tape sealant is filled with dirt. The top of the tank was not cleaned when they put the new risers on. So even if the one had not been knocked off the base, it would have still leaked. At least it made it very easy for me to remove. I'll include a picture showing the base of both risers. Only one corner on each one stuck to the concrete. Those sections got ripped off because they were actually stuck. The rest you can see still there, filled with dirt. I at least have two properly installed risers that are sealed very well now. No thanks to A1 septic. This company is horrific. While the techs were very nice, management purposely decided to avoid fixing their work and making things right. If you do any kind of expensive work with them DO NOT PAY THEM UNTIL YOU HAVE PROVEN THEIR WORK IS DONE CORRECTLY. In my case it had already been too long to do a chargeback and get at least some of my money back. Buyer beware.
5 months agoGreat customer service and billing. I had a line that needed to be cleaned and then still needed a little bit of work. They sent someone asap. He was super nice, got it fixed, and I wasn't billed again. No one tried to upsell anything which was great. It was my first time using them and now I know I can trust their work and service in the future. Yay!
2 weeks agoInception Plumbing
8031 Ward Parkway Plaza, Kansas City, MO 64114, USA
(816) 369-1010Levin and Bryce were great, professional and friendly. My sewer was backed up, coming out of a cleanout I didn't know I had because it was buried in our front yard. Levin arrived first to give me some info about replacement but wasn't pushy to make a sale. Next day, Bryce came by and snaked the line until he hit dirt. Things were looking like it would be a big expensive fix. I still needed to know where my sewer line was located so Levin came back and camera'd it with a tracer. It was maybe 10ft from the street. Now, a few months ago, some construction fellas, (not Inception) dug and laid down some internet fiber cable on our street. I managed to get the guys number and told them they probably hit my sewer line, not knowing if that was 100% true. They came out, dug 4ft down and there it was! Their cable clipped our sewer line! Replaced it and fixed my cleanout because it was their mistake. Anyway, Levin and Bryce from Inception Plumbing were great from the start and helped me make sense of the whole situation, so I could end up having my sewer line back in good working order. I appreciate their professionalism in that stressful time.
1 month agoInception Plumbing was incredible! They fixed my leak and did some upgrades on the SAME DAY I called! Chris was very help and knowledgeable. He taught me and showed me things about my house I had no idea were there! Chris was also very friendly and fun to talk to and really walked me through all my options, without trying to upsell me. He really has a philosophy of taking care of his customers and doing the best work possible! I would recommend Inception Plumbing to anyone and would try to refer Christopher Smith to do your work. Truly amazing work!
2 months agoEveryone at Inception Plumbing has been fantastic to work with over the past few days. Our water heater was very old and needed to be replaced ASAP, and they made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Kimberly and Brittany were incredibly helpful and responsive from the office side, and Bryce did a phenomenal job with the installation. The whole team truly went above and beyond. I’m so grateful we chose Inception Plumbing and will absolutely be recommending them to everyone I know!
3 weeks agoMr. Rooter Plumbing of Johnson County
13480 S Arapaho Dr, Olathe, KS 66062, USA
(913) 285-8462Our plumber, Jake, was thorough, helpful and knowledgeable. He resolved our sewer issue quickly, and the reassurance of knowing the cost beforehand is much appreciated. We will certainly call on you next time we have a problem. We'll also recommend you (and Jake) to family and friends .
1 month ago5 stars!!! I had a spreadsheet with 8 estimates and Jake from Mr Rooter was wonderful and worked with me on getting a new water heater. Their pricing was very competitive and Jake and the new owner was able to price match my 2nd lowest estimate. Because Jake was so professional and trustworthy, I went with them instead of trying to save a few hundred dollars. Mr Rooters guys are not commissioned sales reps who try to upsell, they’re salaried and Jake truly recommended what was needed. Unlike a few others who picked the entire plumbing apart with unnecessary problems. I am VERY pleased and will use them again anytime!
4 months agoChuck Sauro and Rafael Ramirez with Mr Rooter are my plumbers and they deliver excellent and timely service. My kitchen sink was stopped up and I needed to get my 20 year old sump pumps checked out before the rainy season arrived. Chuck came out immediately, got the sink going and within days my sump pumps were replaced and new back-up batteries installed. Great work! Reasonable Prices. No hidden costs or expenses. Finally, plumbers you can trust. Thank you Chuck and Rafael. You are my go-tos for my tough plumbing jobs. You deliver.
1 month agoReddi Services
4011 Bonner Industrial Dr, Shawnee, KS 66226, USA
(913) 535-6209Miguel R. From Reddi Services was a professional who knew exactly what he was doing. I called to the service Sunday morning and Miguel was at my house hour later which was amazing and also it wasn’t any extra charge for the weekend. Miguel was super friendly and the same time didn’t spend too much time talking. He cleared the main drain and that’s what I needed. I would recommend him to anyone .
4 months agoDamion was fantastic. We had heavy tree roots causing a basement drain backup, and he took the time to properly clear the line instead of just punching a quick hole through it. He even ran a camera to confirm everything was clear and explained what he was seeing. Fair pricing, no pressure, and everything is flowing perfectly now. Highly recommend.
1 month agoDamion from Reddit Services was fantastic. He walked us through everything he was doing so there were no surprises (apart from our pipe access being buried in concrete by a previous owner). He was well prepared and professional. I highly recommend Reddi Service in general and if it's a pipe issue ask for Damion.
2 weeks agoConnelly Plumbing Solutions
10583 Widmer Rd, Lenexa, KS 66215, USA
(913) 768-7676Called Monday morning (1/19) and was scheduled an appointment the next morning for a clogged main line. All around excellent service! Luke and Juan were fantastic; very professional and knowledgeable. Luke took the time to explain each procedure and was able to cost additional services prior to performing the work. I will continue to use Connelly Plumbing and would highly recommend them to any one looking knowledgeable professional service.
1 month agoWe have had Connelly come out to our house several times to fix some issues. Every time they have been respectful, quick to get back to me and get me on the schedule. Adam has worked on several things and has been knowledgeable and always willing to answer any questions we may have.
3 weeks agoChris and Dom were wonderful. Very knowledgeable and determined to get my kitchen sink working, which they did. They were on time, fixed it, didn't leave a mess and were super nice. When i originally called the office they were here within 2 hours. Your company is now my go-to plumbers! Thank you so much!
2 months agoAnthony Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electric
15203 W 99th St, Lenexa, KS 66219, USA
(913) 322-6011Our furnace went out on the coldest day of the year January 2026 on a early Sunday morning called Anthony Heating and cooling and they came out with in 30 minutes. My furnace was 31 years old and needed a new mother board which would cost $950 but couldn't get it till Monday So we just decided to just put in an all new system and replace the 20 year old hot water heater too they said they could have it installed on Monday and they did showed up around 9:30am and was done by 5:30Pm and the job they did looks nice . I would highly recommend them to everyone.
1 month ago$1500 to install two kitchen faucets. 2-4 hour job. Quotes are given on site and will not be provided over the phone. If you decline the quote they will attempt to charge you for the visit. Plumbers arrive in pairs. A senior plumber, and an apprentice. They pay $16 an hour for their apprentices. Experienced plumbers in Kanses City usually charge $150 an hour plus parts. Anthony’s is triple this cost. $750-$400 per hour in my case. I have had one good experience with Anthony’s when they inspected my gas fireplace. They arrived on time and their pricing was very fair. I’m not sure what happened between the two visits/quotes. Anthony’s is no doubt a staple provider in the Kansas City area. But they have grown to big to fast. My recommendation is to save your money, wait a day or two and go with someone that doesn’t use a computer to answer the phone. Computer receptionists don’t really scream “expertise,” and “no shortcuts” which is their justification for their exorbitantly high pricing.
1 month agoWe had a different company come out earlier this morning and they tried, but they were not able to succeed so they recommended calling who we use before. So James came out and immediately got to work to try to get our service back up and going. Within a couple hours our boiler system was back up and running and he was nice enough to take the time to let us know each step of the way what he was doing and kept nothing top secret. The wife is happy so I’m happy. We are now getting on the PMA cycle. Thanks again James. We really appreciate it.

(913) 453-6295When the new water tank needed installing, I wasn't sure what to expect, but the plumber did an outstanding job. Their punctuality was impressive, arriving just 20 minutes after the scheduled time. The installation was smooth, and they explained everything clearly. I’m very pleased with the efficiency and professionalism shown throughout the entire process.

3 days agoBill Fry the Plumbing Guy
10308 State Line Rd # A, Leawood, KS 66206, USA
(816) 685-8313I had a non-emergency plumbing issue and called to schedule service. They were able to get me on the schedule the same day, which was a pleasant surprise. Adam was assigned as the service technician, and the communication was excellent from the start. I received a text confirming the appointment, along with Adam’s photo and a vehicle tracker showing his exact location and estimated arrival time—no guessing involved. Adam arrived promptly, introduced himself, took the time to listen and understand the issue, put on protective shoe covers, and got right to work. He was also very kind to my overly enthusiastic dog, which I appreciated. After diagnosing the problem, he proactively called to confirm the replacement part was available before shutting off our water, ensuring we wouldn’t be left in a difficult situation. Once availability was confirmed, he presented a clear, upfront estimate that included both labor and parts for approval before proceeding. The repair was completed efficiently—water shut off, faulty part removed, new part installed, and everything tested to ensure proper operation. Adam was very tidy and cleaned up thoroughly afterward. My credit card was charged exactly the amount quoted, with no surprises. From start to finish, the entire visit took about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Overall, this was a very professional and pleasant experience. I will absolutely keep this company at the top of my list for any future plumbing needs.
1 month agoAdam Gardner was the best very helpful and friendly. He also was respectful to our house and gave us the best experience we ever had. He also was very informative and it was easy to understand what he was saying. I will use them for all my problems in the future. Thank you Adam and the whole company of Bill Fry the best plumbers in Kansas City
3 weeks agoAdam was wonderful! I found this company on Google after googling affordable plumbing and took a shot in the dark. I noticed they had great reviews so I decided to hire them. They offered me a $50 off coupon for the assessment which was absolutely wonderful. And when the plumber arrived, he was pleasant and very quick with his job. I would recommend this place to anyone, and we will certainly be calling them in the future any of our needs!
2 months agoProfessional Drain Cleaning in Olathe
Dealing with a stubborn clog in Olathe shouldn't be a day-long headache. From the historic homes near downtown Olathe to the newer developments out toward Lake Olathe, local residents need reliable plumbing solutions that work around their busy schedules. Our service simplifies the process by doing the legwork for you. We don't just provide a list of names; we actively verify which certified plumbers in the Olathe area are ready to handle your specific issue right now. Whether you are dealing with a kitchen sink backup after a family dinner or a major sewer line issue in Johnson County, we prioritize speed and efficiency. By filtering professionals by your specific zip code and personally calling to confirm their 24-hour availability, we ensure that when you get connected, you're talking to a pro who is actually ready to head to your door. This eliminates the 'phone tag' game and gets your home back to normal faster.
Common Drain Issues in Olathe
Hard Water Mineral Buildup: Olathe is known for having relatively hard water, which can lead to significant mineral scale buildup inside your pipes. Over time, these calcium deposits narrow the flow of water, making it much easier for hair and soap scum to create a total blockage.
Tree Root Intrusion in Older Neighborhoods: In many of Olathe's established neighborhoods, mature tree roots are a common cause of sewer line backups. These roots seek out moisture and can penetrate older clay or cast iron pipes, leading to slow drains throughout the entire house.
Heavy Spring Rain Overload: Kansas is famous for its intense spring thunderstorms. When Olathe experiences heavy rainfall, local drainage systems and sump pumps are put to the test. If your exterior drains or floor drains aren't clear, you risk basement flooding or backflow issues during the storm season.
Kitchen Grease and Disposal Misuse: With many active families in the area, Olathe kitchens see a lot of use. A common issue we see is 'fatbergs'—congealed grease and food scraps that have been washed down the disposal, eventually hardening and requiring professional hydro-jetting to clear.
Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for Olathe
Spring: After the Kansas winter thaw, clear all debris and leaves from your outdoor area drains and window wells to prevent basement flooding during Olathe’s heavy spring rains.
Summer: With kids home from school and more frequent local gatherings, be extra mindful of what goes down the garbage disposal. Avoid fibrous vegetables like corn husks and celery which can tangle the blades and cause backups.
Fall: Before the first Olathe frost, disconnect your garden hoses and ensure your outdoor spigots are drained. Leaves can also clog exterior drain grates, so keep your yard clear to maintain proper drainage.
Winter: If you have pipes running through unheated areas like a garage or crawlspace, keep your cabinet doors open during extreme cold snaps to allow warm air to circulate, preventing ice blockages that lead to bursts.
Average Drain Cleaning Costs in Olathe
Standard drain snaking for a single sink or toilet typically starts at the lower end, while main sewer line clearing or hydro-jetting services in the Olathe area fall on the higher end of the scale.
