Expert Drain Cleaning in Leawood, KS

This review is for the Missouri side as there is apparently a Kansas side as well per the magnet on our refrigerator. This is a long overdue review as the work was done 2/22/23 by Danny per the Contract ticket# 788813. He was EXCELLENT in every way! Have lived in this house since 1999 & every plumber has always cleaned the large clean out that is located near the back of the house. We were originally working with Dick Ray Plumbing and they cleaned out a ton of tree roots from this clean out. However, Dick Ray Plumbing, had a scheme going. There was 2 guys that came out. One was a young man that did the work and used the auger, while the older "salesman" tried to convince us that if this didn't work to unclog the line causing the sewer water backing up in the basement, that we'd have to replace the drain pipe to the water meter out by the side walk near the street. Estimated at $5,000 to $7,000. Go figure, the clean out of tree roots didn't work and we had sewer water backing up in our basement again within a couple of days. Thankfully, I've worked for a lot of "salesmen" BSers in my life and I was pretty sure he was trying to con my husband and I. We called The Plumbing Pro for help and a second opinion. First time ever I was made aware there was a clean out at the front of the house, because no one has ever attempted to clean that clean out before. Always the large one at the back of the house. The one at the front of our house is small and inconspicuous to me. But not to Danny. He cleaned it out and we haven't had a problem since. That was over 3 years ago. Cost was less than $150 then. The Plumbing Pros were great to work with from first phone call to set the appointment to completion of the project. We had a 10 foot section of the main line replaced and was a 1 day job. After receiving multiple bids we chose them as they were fair on their pricing, upfront about concerns and expectations, and stand behind the work provided. They showed up when they said they would be there and completed in a timely after after. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone looking for plumbing work done.

Jason is the most amazing plumber my husband and I have ever encountered! I was extremely distraught over the drain pipe issue in our garage and am recovering from being in the hospital. He managed to put me at ease in minutes. I rarely feel comfortable with strangers in my home but his knowledge and professionalism are a 10+. We had an issue with sewer drain and B&L came out quickly, evaluated issue and fixed quickly and at a great price. Showed up when they said, gave estimate and stayed with it. Here's the kicker ... We messed up and called someone else 1st. They quoted us $1000's, yes multiple, more. B&L has a customer for life! Thanks Billy, Jason and Junior!!!!!!

I like it when a company calls and asks if it is OK to start the appointment earlier than scheduled. Paul was out service person and if we need plumbing services again I would call B&L Plumbing and ask for Paul. 1. Early 2, Got right to work. 3. I was able to watch and ask questions. 4. The job was done right.

I am so glad I found Bright Side Plumbing. After our plumbing backed up from the spring rain, our 1950s house needed a new sewer line along with replacement of all the cast iron pipes under the concrete in our basement. Thank you so much to Scott, Anthony, Dan, and Matthew for the thorough work, excellent communication, and high level of professionalism throughout both major projects. We just moved into our home and started having issues with our kitchen sink backing up. Called and was able to get someone to come check it out fairly easy. We had Nick Chernioglo assess and he did a thorough job and was very informative of what the issue was and the multiple options we had to fix the issue. We ended up not breaking up the entire garage floor and he was able to route the new pipes even with the restricted space due to the prior owner’s HVAC installation. Nick did a great job in all aspects of this job and would highly recommend!

Chris Mitchel did an amazing job. My wife was cleaning and accidentally flush down a small towel in the toilet drain and was backed up for a day. He came and thank BUDDHA he got it out! He was very polite and professional.

Highly Recommend Jonathan! Called Inception Plumbing for a quote on a full water filtration system, and Jonathan was excellent. He was incredibly straightforward and gave me direct, honest answers without any bullshit. He even mapped out potential extra steps—like extra drywall cutting depending on where the main waterline sat—so I knew exactly what to expect. There was zero sales pressure, just a very easy-going and professional consultation. Will definitely use them again!

First time customer-the ease of making an appt was much appreciated; had a tech out within hrs. Chris was very nice and respectful. He explained exactly what the issue was, communicated part needed, pricing, and was on his way after completing the job. Would recommend without any issues.

I would 100% recommend these guys. Completed the work timely, efficiently, and with quality craftsmanship. Replaced my main sewer line and worked all day 8 am-8 pm to complete the job correctly the first time. They worked their tails off to get my lines replaced. Double and triple checked their work and ensured the repair was 100% fixed. Great communication the whole time with what repairs needed to be done with great pricing. Drove over an hour to assist me and I am grateful to find such quality plumbers. I wouldn't use anybody else!

We received prompt attention to our drain issue. Andrew came out about two hours after our call and resolved our problem very quickly. He offered some plumbing education and pricing was very reasonable. Highly recommend!.

Bill Fry’s crew have all been polite and professional. We had an exterior drain issue that required digging and putting in new pipe and they got it done in a morning. It was difficult to figure out as well but they kept at it and figured out an appropriate fix. Thank you guys!

Cameron Westcoat was incredibly friendly, fast, and thorough. He was on time, explained to me what he thought the problem was, performed the clean out in a timely manner, had me look at the drain and how it was draining as it should, and then did an excellent clean up job. The cost he quoted me before the repair was the same after the repair. It's difficult to be a woman living on your own and have a man come in and work on your house. You never know what kind of price they are going to give you and I've even had some make rather inappropriate comments that made me feel very uneasy. Cameron was incredibly professional and I felt very comfortable with him, felt I could ask him questions if needed, and I new the price he gave was not only affordable but what I would have expected plus HE FOUND A COUPON I COULD USE FOR THE SERVICE! I highly recommend!

The Gentleman’s Plumber delivered the BEST customer experience I’ve EVER had with a home repair company, hands down. From the moment Mia called quickly in response to my form submission for information, it was positive. Trent came out to inspect and gave me a very fair estimate. The Gentleman Plumbing company did a fantastic job at my house installing new water heaters. Pierce (and his helper) were excellent in communication, being on time, and cleaning up after themselves. Couldn't be happier. Highly recommend. Their prices were also the best compared to some of the "TV advertised" plumbing companies here in KC.

Proline got my drain fixed quickly! Another company came out and we’re not able to diagnose or fix the problem, but Proline addressed it right away. Our technician was very nice and explained things to us very well. Highly recommend!!

JRON was great to work with! He was really thorough with the job and made sure everything was taken care of. He showed us on the camera how the drain was after he was done. He was very professional the whole time. We really appreciated him taking the time to do the job right and keep us informed. Overall a really good experience! Inception Plumbing was incredible! They fixed my leak and did some upgrades on the SAME DAY I called! Chris was very help and knowledgeable. Are in process of finding cause of leak—impressed with experience, problem solving aptitude (in process) efficient time used and confident so far with next steps, We have yet to see bill so won’t comment However with previous experience with this company we are very pleased with their methodology and expect great outcomes as in previous projects. True Blue Plumbing came and installed my hot water heater back in 2022 and did an amazing job. A few weeks ago I had some leakage from the area and thought it might be an issue. However I think it was so blockage with my furnace. Devin came out and cleaned it for me so far I’ve not had any issues. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

I had a water heater installed about three years ago and True Blue completed a professional install at a reasonable price. Was very happy with that. Pressure relief valve blew and I tried for three weeks to get an appointment but could never get through to schedule an appointment after talking to someone on the phone for a few minutes. He said there were problems with their phones, but I tried emails and leaving messages for three weeks. Even though I have a warranty with True Blue, I had to end up calling another plumber.

Review of True Blue Plumbers: A Cautionary Tale Plumber: Devin This was, without question, the worst plumbing experience I’ve had since 1992. True Blue Plumbers was a HUGE disappointment and left me feeling “had”: -Unreliable scheduling: They didn’t show up on the promised day, and when they finally arrived the following day, they were late—wasting hours of my time. -Deceptive bait‑and‑switch pricing: After reviewing the job onsite, the final price was a staggering 72% higher than what had originally been discussed. -Careless workmanship: To top it off, the plumber left dirty fingerprints across our white ceiling, adding insult to injury. I will never allow True Blue Plumbers back into my home or any property I own. We will not recommend them to anyone. Their name is fitting—because after dealing with them, you’ll be True Blue from the disappointment. I told him that we wouldn’t be able to buy our grandchildren any Christmas presents this year because of how much he overcharged us, he just laughed as if I was joking. Bottom line: I feel compelled to warn others—this company is overpriced, deceptive, and careless. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.
