1 month agoOverflow tank needed to be replaced because of a broken bladder. Additionally it had been poorly mounted to a PEX pipe by a previous plumbing company. Loren Nichols from Royal Flush did an outstanding job of putting in a mount secured to a stud which made the overflow tank very secure and used copper pipe between the hot water tank and the over flow tank. It made for a very neat clean sturdy assembly. He was polite, and professional. When he was done, he took the time to explain and show me all of his work. I was very impressed. I would recommend him to all of my friends and relatives.
5 months agoLoren and his team from Royal Flush really do great work! Always on time, good communication, and reasonably priced. I’ve had them out numerous times for things ranging from emergency work when the expansion tank on our water heater broke off blew off to just simple stuff like replacing faucets and both of our outside hose bibbs today. Royal Flush even installed our tankless water heater for a much better price and service than we got from one of the large plumbing groups. Thanks Loren and Royal Flush!

12770 Farmer's Ln, Platte City, MO 64079, USA
(816) 695-3840I couldn't be more impressed with the exceptional plumbing service I received for my kitchen stack replacement. From the start, they were prompt in providing a fair estimate, and their professionalism shone through every step of the process. They not only identified that our kitchen stack needed replacement but thoroughly explained why and what the work would entail. What truly stood out was their commitment to going above and beyond. The stack replacement was handled expertly, and they even addressed a clogged main drain issue they discovered during the work. Their attention to detail was impressive – everything was done with precision and care. The pricing was fair and transparent, with no surprise charges. Their expertise in handling such a significant plumbing project gave me complete confidence in their work. Based on this outstanding experience, they've earned my trust for any future plumbing needs. I highly recommend their services to anyone looking for reliable, professional plumbing work.
1 year agoLeary did a great job and were on time and fast. They installed a water softener for me that I needed at the home we recently moved into. Todd and his helper got it done in less than an hour and even filled the unit with the salt I had for it. I’ve used them in the past and would definitely hire Leary Plumbing again.
9 months agoTodd called ahead of time to let us know he was on his way. He and his co worker were professional and polite, letting us know our options. After the work was completed, the area was neat and tidy. Cost was less than expected. Highly recommend!

4600 Kansas Ave Ste A, Kansas City, KS 66106, USA
(913) 982-1322Buyer beware. Overall a very frustrating experience and a lack of professionalism. I think we would have been fine with our original tech, but as soon as they involved their mitigation team, it felt like a game of manipulation, lies and then just ignore the crazy customer until he goes away. First, we were concerned about a backed up pipe. Tech did great unblocking it. In the process we noticed a leak coming from upstairs. Turns out our toilet was leaking. He reset the toilet and charged almost $450 for it, but called in mitigation due to subfloor damage from the leak. Salesman, Nick P, from mitigation lied straight up. Said we didn't have to do anything. He sat on our couch, trying to promote to me a book he wrote, telling us we did not have to do anything along the way. I should have known better when he used the phrase, "We will get paid regardless" when I asked about what happens if the insurance denied the claim. He said he would represent us with our adjuster, and he assured us he was on our side, etc. Well, he went on vacation the next day and left no one for us to contact. He did in fairness say he had a vacation coming, but also told us to call him when our adjuster called. He of course didn't answer. The mitigation team were nice and tried to overcome some of our frustrations, but they lost us when they failed to explain how it would work, and failed to pull their equipment (milking time $) when it should have been pulled. Their guys they sent to test for moisture were taking a reading off a piece of wood that clearly had rot and that was all that was left for moisture. Yet they kept their equipment extra days for this piece of wood we knew would have to be replaced. They were trying to dry out a single piece of wood that had obvious rot and was not gonna dry out. They ripped out the toilet the tech just set in and charged $450 to fix. They even billed us for ripping it out! They moved several items in our basement and piled them in a room that we couldn't then get into after as they piled stuff by the door. Their team lead kept whispering when I was nearby which gave me the idea they were trying to hide something. I got fed up and wanted it all out. The leak ruined our water heater so it had to be replaced. We asked the same good tech to come back out. A couple thousand dollars later, it was done. Except, he forgot to turn the gas back on to our heater. Temps dropped that night to 28 degrees outside and our house temp was 58 degrees when I woke up freezing. My young son and wife were both shivering in their bed. I groggily had to try to turn the valve back on in the middle of the night without the right tool - a dangerous option if you are not trained or used to doing this (valve had no handle on it and was positioned toward the heater so I had limited space). I almost broke the connection pulling too hard. Ultimately it took about 45 mins to get back on. When I text the tech the next day, he admitted he also forgot to secure our water shut off as well. All he would say is "Whoops, sorry." Then, we get our bill for over $10k. After already paying almost $5k. Not only was stuff not taken care of, (leak was two places), we were threatened in the email that we had to have it paid within 30 days or risk issues. I questioned some of the charges, including being charged to remove a toilet we already paid to be fixed by them less then 48 hours before but I got no response. One of these supervisors even tried to friend me on Facebook - seriously. Why? We got the insurance check and paid them today. Thought about posting all the images, recordings, texts and emails, but ultimately I am tired. The story is enough. I believe this is one of those companies that has systemic issues. They were terrible communicators and exagerators to us, that ultimately once they got paid they were done. Looking at their reviews & hearing so many others, tell us we were dumb to hire them is confusing for sure. They are paid off and will never be used by us again. I will forever relay our story to anyone who will listen.
3 months agoDwayne was so nice and honest and helpful from the very beginning, and so was the trainee, “R”(? spelling) he had with him!! I was so upset with all the water backing up, not knowing what to do and he worked with me to help get this horrible situation under control. I can’t thank him enough.!!! You have a “jewel”with him and the guy he’s training too.!!!!!! Also, as well as Patrick that had to be the bear of the not so good News for me was very kind in helping me look at different situations as to how to handle my problem in the long run! All three exceptional men that helped very very well!!!
10 months agoThe specialist was very polite during the visit. He also struck up a really good conversation while checking what was wrong with the garbage disposal. He finished the job pretty quick replacing the garbage disposal. They also gave really good tips and suggestions while inspecting other plumbing equipment. Was a really good experience and will use them again. This would be the 2nd time I used them for a plumbing issue.
3 months agoFull Nelson Plumbing Heating & Cooling
8525 Parallel Pkwy, Kansas City, KS 66112, USA
(816) 420-9697Nothing but good things to say about Full Nelson. We came back from vacation and the furnace was out. They came the next day and were able to provide on site quotes. They then came the next business day and had everything installed quickly, cleanly and without issue. They even let us borrow some space heaters between the quote and install. Clint was our main point of contact and was very patient, thorough, and walked us through all steps of the process. Full Nelson has also done gas plumbing work for us and has been excellent every time. Would recommend them to anyone
3 months agoFull Nelson Services professionally installed our new Trane HVAC System and our GE Water heater. We are extremely satisfied with the professional and courteous service from Travis and Jeremy. We would highly recommend their services!

(816) 455-5420Amazing all the way around! On time, on budget and very competitive pricing. Team was professional and communicative from start to finish. Exceeded expectations!! In the world of real estate, reliable contractors are difficult to find. Would definitely recommend this group given our recent experience. 5 stars!!
2 months agoI should start by saying I should have asked about trip charge up front so that is totally my mistake. Was quoted trip charge of $175 but how funny it showed up as $20 on the invoice. The work done was fine but I didn’t anticipate a high $200’s bill to replace a $10 plastic part that took no more than 5 minutes. I was not pleased with myself for not checking—rating is because of the value for the service—should have been half or more to get the work done I needed. Guy was fine and work was fine…value was off in my opinion only.
1 month agoI had a great experience with this plumbing company. They were extremely transparent from start to finish, clearly explaining the issue, the repair options, and the costs upfront with no surprises. The plumber took the time to answer all my questions and made sure I understood what was being done. It’s refreshing to work with a company that’s honest, straightforward, and professional. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable plumbing services.
5 months agoAbsolute Contracting LLC.
14370 NW 61st St, Parkville, MO 64152, USA
(816) 876-9202Loren is great! I spoke with several other contractors for my shampoo sink installation and he was the most knowledgeable and thorough while giving me an estimate. He and one other guy arrived on time and had my job completed and looking great within a few hours. I highly recommend hiring him and plan to continue a business relationship for any further needs!
5 years agoLoren and his team came out on an urgent call Monday morning. He was able to fix our problem to a point where we could turn the water back on until the main fix was completed. My husband did some additional work to get ready for Loren's team to come back (purely my husband's choice to be hands-on). Loren made plans with my husband to ensure all the work needed was complete by the time his team came back. Loren and his team did the heavy lifting when it came to fixing and replacing needed pipes/parts for our bathroom. As always, they were fast, friendly, professional, and efficient. They were willing to work with our schedules. The job they competed was outstanding. We will definitely have them back again!
5 years agoLoren was recommended by a friend and responded very quickly to set up an appointment. We had a kitchen faucet that needed to be replaced. The work was done quickly and he resolved an issue that another plumber had not be able to. The best part is that he charged almost half of what we had been quoted by someone else. Very friendly and I will definitely use this team again.
5 years agoProfessional Drain Cleaning in Leavenworth, Kansas
Dealing with a backed-up sink or a slow-draining shower in Leavenworth shouldn't involve calling half a dozen plumbers just to find someone who's actually free. As "The First City of Kansas," Leavenworth has a mix of beautiful historic properties and newer developments, each with its own set of plumbing quirks. Whether you're living near the historic downtown district, out by the Fort, or closer to the Missouri River, finding a reliable tech shouldn't be a gamble.
Our service streamlines the entire process. We maintain a network of local Leavenworth professionals and use advanced filtering to match you with a plumber in your specific zip code. Most importantly, we don't just give you a list; we proactively call to confirm they can handle your drain emergency today. This ensures that when you connect with a pro, they are ready to roll, saving you time and frustration.
By verifying availability before you even pick up the phone, we eliminate the "no-show" headache. Our network includes certified plumbers who understand the unique soil conditions and infrastructure of Leavenworth, ensuring your pipes are cleared correctly the first time.
Common Drain Issues in Leavenworth, Kansas
Historic Plumbing Challenges: Many homes in the historic districts of Leavenworth still feature older clay or cast iron pipes. These are prone to scaling and root intrusion, which can lead to frequent main line backups if not maintained by a professional who knows how to handle fragile materials.
Missouri River Silt and Debris: For homes closer to the river valley, shifting soil and heavy rains can put pressure on sewer lines. This often results in slow drains or backflow during the wet spring months typical of Northeast Kansas, requiring immediate attention to prevent property damage.
Hard Water Buildup: Like much of the Kansas River valley area, Leavenworth water can be relatively hard. Over time, mineral deposits build up inside your pipes, narrowing the passage for wastewater and making clogs more frequent in shower heads and kitchen faucets.
Kitchen Grease and Disposal Issues: With the bustling community around Fort Leavenworth, busy families often put their disposals to the test. Grease buildup is a leading cause of kitchen sink clogs throughout the 66048 area, especially in older homes with smaller diameter drainage pipes.
Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for Leavenworth, Kansas
Winter Freeze Prevention: In Leavenworth, temperatures regularly drop well below freezing. Ensure your outdoor faucets are drained and hoses disconnected to prevent ice from backing up into your interior drain system and causing cracks.
Spring Rain Monitoring: Check your sump pump and basement floor drains every March. The heavy Kansas spring rains can quickly overwhelm a drain that is partially blocked by winter debris or silt from the Missouri River area.
Fall Leaf Management: Keep leaves and yard debris away from outdoor area drains and gutter downspouts. In Leavenworth's wooded neighborhoods, autumn foliage can quickly clog external drainage systems, leading to localized basement seepage.
Summer High-Usage Check: If you're hosting guests for Independence Day or local graduations, be mindful of what goes down the drain. Increased usage can trigger a backup in a line that was already struggling with mineral buildup.
Average Drain Cleaning Costs in Leavenworth, Kansas
Prices in Leavenworth vary based on the severity of the clog, the location of the pipe (main line vs. secondary drain), and whether specialized equipment like hydro-jetting or camera inspections are required. Emergency after-hours service may also impact the final cost.
