Top Rated Plumbers in Peoria
G/K Plumbing
627 Main St, Peoria, IL 61602, USA
(309) 220-5100Billy and his team did an excellent job installing a new septic system for our home. From start to finish, the communication was clear and we always felt informed about what was happening. Billy responded quickly to our calls and took the time to answer all our questions, making sure we understood every step of the process. Miguel, who operated the backhoe, was very skilled, and the rest of the crew was friendly and helpful with any concerns we had. The project was finished on schedule and within the estimated budget. The pricing was fair, and the quality of the plumbing work was outstanding. We are very satisfied and highly recommend this team for any septic or plumbing needs.
1 month agoMiguel and Billy did a fantastic job! They arrived right on time, quickly checked out the plumbing problem, and made me feel comfortable about the repairs. They really know their way around pipes and drains, and explained all my options in simple terms so I could easily understand. It was a big plumbing project, but they worked fast and paid attention to every detail. They treated my house with care and made sure everything was spotless before they left. They installed a brand new drainage system under my kitchen sink and repaired the pressure valve out in the garage. I highly recommend them for any plumbing work you need done!
2 months agoHad a tenant in Peoria with a clogged and broken kitchen sink drain. Miguel, the plumber, showed up quickly and fixed the cracked drain pipe. While working, he noticed the line was still clogged, even after snaking it a few times. To fully clear it, he explained he might need to cut into the sheetrock under the island, but i really didn't want to deal with any wall repairs. Miguel completely understood and suggested reaching out to another team with special tools to clear the drain without damaging the wall. I called the recommended crew, and they arrived within a couple of hours. They took care of the clog fast and left everything looking clean, with no mess or damage. I was really impressed with how fast they responded and surprised that the final price was much lower than i expected for plumbing work. overall, a great experience and i’m glad i called.

9204 N Industrial Rd, Peoria, IL 61615, USA
(309) 388-3382FRAUD! FRAUD! FRAUD! Had a backed up basement drain. They couldn't clear it, and sent a camera down it. Said there was a hole in my sewer line under my floor. Charged me $5400 (up front before the job was started). Tore up my basement floor, the guy said the tech that marked the spot to dig marked it in the wrong location. Replaced what they said was a hole in the line, covered it with concrete and left. 2hrs later when I did laundry, my entire basement filled with 3" of standing water!! They told me 'sometimes when we repair a line, we then need to flush it out. We can Hydrojet it for $1500 for you. After the Hydrojet it worked for a week. Now back to the same issue. I called the City of Peoria and found out that they are not legally allowed to dig in Peoria and their plumbing license is in the process of being revoked for fraud and negligent services. I now have a REAL company coming this week to do the repair. Come to find out, the collapsed line is in my front yard NOT even my basement. So since they aren't allowed to dig in Peoria County any longer, they said the hole in the line was in the basement so they could charge me. My current plumbing company saw where they tore up my basement floor and laughed saying every house they service...they do the same spot. FRAUD! Today I filed a case with the Illinois Attorney General's office and another claim with the Peoria BBB to get my money back. I have also written to the Peoria Journal Star editor and WMBD News. In case those options aren't successful, I have Attorney on retainer with all the text conversations and correspondence, including a text saying they would that Hydrojet for FREE if I would give them a 5 Star Google Review!!! Well...here's your review guys. And it won't be deleted until my $5400 is refunded either voluntarily or in court. Pictures below show where they tore up my basement floor to replace the line that WASN'T broken and a picture of where the break is OUTSIDE where they are prohibited by the City of Peoria to dig.
1 month agoA week ago on Christmas Eve we had a drain that clogged. I called and got help so fast. The two experts that came to my house went above and beyond what I could have ever expected. Sean was so Amazing and so cheerful and the Man knows his job! And Brett who also was cheerful, kind, went above and beyond my expectations. Professional and so caring. And they both worked so hard to get the job done, and were working late on Christmas Eve! The price was so reasonable! I am still in awe of these Professionals! These are the BEST plumbers I have ever had!!! Ten stars to the company for having these guys and a huge shout out to the call center who were also amazing! Thank you guys! Happy New year! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
2 months agoWe had our drain clog usually due to tree roots. They said sewer line had collapsed had to replace cost 6750.00.Did that work then said next section was collapsed cost 11000. So after paying them 17750.00 total they replaced that by digging up concrete driveway and piling concrete, dirt and sand in my front yard. They finished filling in driveway on Jan.10th said they would return following week to remove debris from front yard and fill in driveway as it settles. So numerous phone calls and 12 weeks later they have not completed what they claimed they would do. Don't call this company!!!! So they came and took concrete from yard and some of the sand. They just fixed the cleanout which looks good now and is level. So far so good. We removed alot of the sand that was left with shovels and wheelbarrow so rain will run away from house cause the yard is now higher on the side where they piled everything. Hoping I can get grass to grow in the front yard now where sand and concrete was piled for 2 months, it does grow weeds. Ordered some tall fescue to plant it supposed to be good in sandy soil. Sewer work seemed to be great tho. They started the sewer work very quickly and finished the sewer work in awesome time, but the entire service that I received from them left alot to be desired. Employees are very nice but I don't have a high opinion of the people in charge. Will I use them for the next section?? NO.. Too much hassle and stress. It took 3 months for you to clean up a job you did in 10 days. So here's my update as of Sept 2025. Just paid another company 1700.00 to fix the cleanout you installed. Who puts 2 elbows in a cleanout pipe??? That was your solution to the cleanout pipe being crooked?? Didn't tell us how you fixed it and I understand why now. You have a horrible business ethic!! Time to talk to an attorney..
6 months agoRooter -Matic Sewer Drain and Septic
2120 STE A St, Pekin, IL 61554, USA
(309) 347-4501Excellent service by Nathan! Knowledgeable, considerate, conscientious, pleasant, and professional. Additionally, when he arrived, he told me that he had a migraine headache, and I could see his pain. During the appointment he did not become cranky or short with me because of his migraine....and I asked a lot of questions. He was conscious of a potential mess when scoping and cleaning drains and took measures to minimize drips and spillage. When I asked him to wipe his feet before entering my home after he had walked in the snow, there was NO push back...he obliged willingly. He answered all my questions thoroughly and intelligently. I would highly recommend Nathan from Rooter-Matic.
1 month agoAbove and beyond happy with services provided. We had two other companies out for our backed up sewer line. One never followed through or came back, the other pretty much gave up and quoted us work in the THOUSANDS of dollars range. Nathan was fantastic and determined to get the problem taken care of - which he succeeded at. He is great at explaining the how's and why's for issues with our home and how we should maintain our lines from now on.
1 month agoSuch quick turn around when our basement backed up! When other companies told us we would have to wait 1-2 days before they could assist Rooter-Matic responded and had someone at our door in an hour! As a family with 7 kids and multiple others in and out we were beyond grateful for the quick response and fix! They assessed, fixed and cleaned up their mess seamlessly! Thank you Rooter-Matic!

124 Highview Terrace, East Peoria, IL 61611, USA
(309) 657-3069Needed all new kitchen faucet and supply lines, as well as new drain basket. Called on Eric Salzer, who has plumbed at my home on numerous occasions. As usual, he was prompt, courteous and performed excellent work at fair price.
3 years agoI can't recommend Salzer plumbing enough. The person my daughter bought the house from was charged over 10k last year to replace a majority of the 4"main line inside, I couldn't believe one of the drains were not even falling the right way. Eric showed up promptly, corrected 3 issues in 2hrs and I had to insist he take more than he charged. Thx Eric!!
2 years agoSalzer has completed two jobs for us. He’s experienced and his work has been solid. We haven’t had any issues and would use him again.
1 month agoRoto-Rooter Plumbing, Drain, & Water Damage Cleanup Service
8914 N Pioneer Rd, Peoria, IL 61615, USA
(309) 270-2477I would like to thank and recommend this company for any residential or commercial plumbing and/or clean up issues. This past Christmas while hosting family my basement drainage backed up and proceeded to flood my basement. Roto-Rooter responded within hours and was on site to begin mitigation and clean up. Every single member on that team were polite, pleasant and helpful. The on site supervisor a Mr. Ellis was such an outstanding Individual, he was patient, accessible, and transparent through the whole process. He helped with our insurance claim and the adjuster. Mr. Ellis helped ensure our claim was approved and now all damages to our basement has been financially covered fully, nearly $25,000 worth. I am not a paid bot, look at my profile im a railroader and retired military. I just felt compelled to let the local community know when a company seems to actually give a damn about its customers. I thank them all for the level of professionalism and kindness they showed, and highly recommend them.
2 weeks agoJeff was amazing. 🤩 He was friendly , professional, and very thorough and explained everything in detail. He even took pictures which he sent to me. We appreciate all that you did.
1 month agoI can’t say enough good things about Jeff and Parker. As a single mom, I naturally get a little anxious anytime I have people working in my home. From the moment they arrived, though, they were professional, kind, and incredibly respectful. They made me feel completely comfortable the entire time. The original appointment ended up being on Valentine’s Day, and they spent over seven hours working to get everything taken care of. Not once did they complain or rush through anything. They were determined to see the job all the way through and make sure it was done right. What I appreciated most was how much they explained along the way. They walked me through what was happening, why it was happening, and what they were doing to fix it. I actually learned a lot about plumbing in the process, which made me feel more confident about how things work in my own home. They never made me feel silly for asking questions, they were patient and thorough. It’s rare to find people who combine skill, integrity, and genuine kindness the way they do. I’m so grateful for the care they showed and the quality of work they delivered. I would recommend Jeff and Parker to anyone without hesitation.

(309) 518-1586Plans are to install a water heater, a water softener and a water line to the refrigerator on Monday. Services to be done and products were explained well. All services completely in a very thorough and professional way. Dylan and the crew did an awesome job! We are very pleased with the outcome. 👍🏻😀 Jorge and his assistant came today to do a sewer clean out. They were able to remove the block and clean out the line. We appreciate the information he provided and the work completed. We have been pleased with the services provided by this company! 👍🏻😊
2 months agoI had a hot water pipe break in my basement on Wednesday morning. Turned off the hot water feed and hot water tank. Called and got an appointment for Friday 8:00 to 10:00 am (my choice). Robert Boland came out and was very polite and courteous. He examined the pipe and the rest of the plumbing. He gave me four options, from basic in replacing pipe to complete plumbing and drainage system and a water filter and softener. He explained then and also offered me the Arnold Advantage Club. I still had a leak that he could not find where the water was coming from. I chose my option. We set up the appointment for Thursday (earliest available). Robert told me it could be sooner if something changes and he would tell them that I still had a leak. Only thing I wish Robert would have done was tell me to go to Menards and get plumbing tape to seal the leak until they came to replace the pipe. I was loosing a gallon an hour through the leak. I went Saturday morning and got the tape and it is holding great for a temporary fix for now until Thursday. Andrew and Matt showed up on Thursday and replaced the pipe with no problems. There work was exceptional along with their work ethic and timelines. I am exceptionally pleased with the solution and promptness to my situation. I will definitely recommend them and use them again.
2 weeks agoSeventy plus year old house had unknown age faucet that was beginning to drip. Initial person assessed all house plumbing and offered multiple options and solutions including possible repair of existing faucet, replacement of existing faucet, and additional options for more extensive plumbing. Existing faucet was beyond repair so replacement was required as well as new feed lines with relocated shut off valves. All of this was clearly explained in advance of actual work and agreed to. All employees were courteous and efficient, concentrated on performing their work and cleaned up afterwards. Removal of old and installation of new was completed in less than two hours. Photographs are of the finished work. We are very pleased with the work and the interaction with all of the employees.

2200 E War Memorial Dr A, Peoria, IL 61614, USA
(309) 657-5810I had fantastic service and a walkthrough of the various issues that could be causing the concerns we had with our sewer line. They did not leave until they had figured it out, and I truly am thankful for that. They were great about giving me tips on how to prevent future issues, and I appreciate their straightforward, honest responses.
2 months agoMy appointment was scheduled within a reasonable amount of time. The plumber showed up on time and worked very hard to clear my frozen kitchen drain pipe. He was unable to get it open, but he did work hard and gave me advice on how to keep working at it to melt the ice myself. The ice buildup was worse than we thought, and the drain was not properly plumbed so it was near impossible to get the snake down. The very kind gentleman came out again and worked on it, redid the way the pipes were fitted together, validated that it is ice stopping the drain, and gave instructions on how to get the ice melted. The gentleman I worked with, Caleb and Maximus, we’re so very kind and accommodating. I definitely will call on them again as needed and would recommend them to anyone.
1 month agoZach, the plumber, as soon as he came in the house put footies on to protect my floors. He installed a new disposal and set of faucets for my utility sink. He seemed very knowledgeable and install both of them within 2 hours which I thought was very fair.
1 month agoBoyer's Sewer And Drain
933 E Glen Ave, Peoria Heights, IL 61616, USA
(309) 682-0796We had them out in February to unclog our basement drain. They spent less than 10 minutes doing it which was weird and said it was fixed. When I went down to check myself and look at the ring camera they didn’t seem to do very much and I noticed that it was still pretty clogged. I saw the good reviews and decided to trust them. Wrong! Paid $125 for them to not fix anything. We contacted the city twice just in case it wasn’t on our end and the city was kind enough to do a flush and check on their end. Unfortunately it is on our end so sewer water keeps coming up our drain now that it is rainy season. Definitely will not be paying for a service I was told that was fixed and is not since my basement is flooded with sewer water!
10 months agoWe asked them to come out to snake our bathtub drain. The only thing that they did was wiggle the tub lever and removed some hair by hand. Our tub drained a bit better but we had asked for them to snake it since it's an older house and we don't have a cover on the drain. We could have removed whatever hair we could by hand - that's why we wanted a plumber to come out and have it snaked. I spoke to who I assume is the owner and explained the situation and he insisted that his guy that had come out (the owner had not been in attendance, it was his employee) definitely snaked the drain. He also said that they removed the tub lever and went in and snaked. This is impossible because there is still old glue around the tub lever. I insisted that he had not done what we had asked him to and he offered to come out at 8:15 a.m. on that following Saturday and I told him yes that we would be available. Saturday came around and he did not show. I would definitely NOT recommend this company. It seems that his "right hand man" is not completing jobs and will most likely continue to lie about it. So we spent $120 for them to do what we could have done ourselves. *edit* As suspected, the clog is an issue again and it’s clear that nothing was actually done!! $120 wasted.
9 months agoI'm always relieved by the quick work, experience, and fair pricing I get from these guys. They saved me money compared to other estimates and didn't try to scare me into replacing things before it's necessary. A trustworthy company is extremely valuable to me because I don't have much knowledge about plumbing. Tiger tried to convince me I needed a new sewer line for over $10k...Boyers did a scope, gave me a second opinion, then cleaned out tree roots for $300. Now they clear it once a year for $150. This week I had a sewer gas smell in the house. They replaced the wax ring on a toilet in 15 minutes and charged a fair price. I'm very grateful.

2 weeks agoGale was right on time, friendly, and knowledgeable. He provided several options during our estimate and gave an honest opinion about recommendations best suited for our needs as opposed to simply pushing us towards the highest cost option. Would recommend having him come out any time.
4 months agoHad such a great experience with Paul Rantisi from Tiger Plumbing and Heating. He fixed the motor blower in my furnace and took the time to explain everything so I actually understood what was going on. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and affordable too. It’s nice to come across someone who’s honest and really knows what they’re doing. Definitely recommend Paul and Tiger!

3 years agoI am so thankful for Monte coming out during the coldest day with blizzard conditions with same day service. He was very kind and worked quickly to rectify issues with plumbing and gave suggestion for future work that needs to occur to prevent any further issues. His services are very reasonable given the work that he did. I will always use him for any issues in the future. Thank you for all that you did for us today and so thankful that you got home safe!
3 years agoHad water coming up from sink in basement and tub upstairs. Called Monty and he came right over. He did an awesome job and was very knowledgeable and professional. Very reasonably priced too. He had the problem fixed in no time. I highly recommend this company.
5 years agoProfessional Drain Cleaning in Peoria
Peoria residents know that a clogged drain can quickly turn from a minor annoyance to a major household emergency, especially during the sweltering Arizona summer. Whether you are living near the P83 Entertainment District or closer to the serene waters of Lake Pleasant, finding a reliable plumber shouldn't be a guessing game. Our service simplifies the process by scouting a network of certified Peoria plumbing professionals tailored to your exact neighborhood. Instead of making you call down a list of names, we do the heavy lifting. We filter experts by your Peoria zip code and personally call them to confirm they have the right tools and immediate availability to clear your blockage. This ensures that when we connect you, you’re speaking with a pro who is already prepared to head to your door in the West Valley.
Common Drain Issues in Peoria
Hard Water Buildup: Peoria's water is notoriously hard, leading to calcium and mineral deposits that narrow your pipes over time, causing slow drains and frequent clogs that traditional store-bought cleaners can't touch.
Desert Landscaping Roots: While palm trees and desert shrubs are beautiful, their roots are aggressive seekers of moisture. They often find their way into sewer lines, causing significant blockages for homes in older Peoria neighborhoods and even newer developments.
Monsoon Silt and Debris: During the summer monsoon season, heavy winds and rain can push fine desert sand and organic debris into external drains and vent pipes, leading to stubborn obstructions that require professional snaking.
Kitchen Grease and Disposals: With Peoria being a hub for family living, heavy kitchen use often leads to fat and grease buildup in the pipes. Cooling grease from family dinners solidifies, trapping food particles and causing sink backups during peak evening hours.
Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for Peoria
Spring Root Prevention: Before the summer growth spurt, have your main sewer line inspected, especially if you have mature trees near your plumbing lines in neighborhoods like Vistancia.
Monsoon Prep: Clear your outdoor area drains of sand and yard debris before the July storms hit to prevent backyard flooding or patio drain backups caused by heavy West Valley rainfall.
Holiday Drain Care: When hosting visitors for Spring Training or the holidays, avoid putting fibrous vegetables or grease down the disposal to prevent an inconvenient kitchen backup.
Hard Water Maintenance: Consider a water softener or annual descaling flushes to combat the mineral-heavy water common throughout Peoria, which can significantly extend the life of your drainage system.
Average Drain Cleaning Costs in Peoria
Prices in Peoria typically vary based on the severity of the clog, the location of the drain (kitchen sink vs. main sewer line), and whether specialized equipment like hydro-jetting or sewer cameras are required for the job.
Frequently Asked Questions about Drain Cleaning in Peoria
How fast can I get a plumber to my home in Vistancia or North Peoria?
By filtering through our network by zip code, we often find Peoria technicians who can arrive within a few hours. We call to confirm their schedule before we even give you their details, ensuring they are truly available.
Do you verify if Peoria plumbers offer 24/7 emergency service?
Yes. If your drain overflows at 2 AM on a Tuesday, we specifically scan for and call Peoria-based plumbers who are currently on-call and ready to dispatch to your location immediately.
Is hydro-jetting necessary for Peoria homes?
For stubborn mineral buildup or heavy root intrusion common in the Valley, hydro-jetting is often the most effective long-term solution compared to traditional snaking, as it clears the pipe walls completely.
How does the zip code filtering benefit me as a Peoria resident?
Peoria is geographically large, stretching far north toward Lake Pleasant. By filtering for your specific zip code, we minimize travel time and ensure the plumber is actually local to your part of the city for a faster response.
What is the most common cause of clogged drains in Peoria?
Aside from standard hair and grease, Peoria's extremely hard water creates mineral scale that acts like 'plumbing cholesterol,' narrowing your pipes and making it easier for debris to get snagged and cause a backup.
