Expert Drain Cleaning in Rockwall, TX

Edit: company called to offer a partial refund for the high cost of the service bringing it close to $530 from $725 , still expensive for a simple kitchen drain clog but it's appreciated to have a company followup on their work and customer concerns. Luis Maldonado did a great job with his service and was friendly. But we got charged $725 including dispatch fee for a simple clean out of a slow flowing kitchen sink which as far as I can tell from research is at least twice the price of what it should be. I'd love to give 5 stars because as I said Luis did a good job but these plumbers are way too expensive. It seriously feels like we got car shop ripped off. Edit: apparantly it took 15 minutes to do. We totally got scammed. So. Cautionary tale for anyone planning on using this company AND he apparantly tried selling us those BioOne drain cleaner bottles for $100 each when you can find them online for $30 to $50 each.... While I appreciate Luis's work and he was overall friendly, Its the only reason it's not one star and I'll never use this company again unless they correct this

David and his partner did an excellent job putting my sewer drain back together. For this round of repair there was a lot of digging involved. I am hoping to see my shrubs live in the aftermath. They got notification about my problem this morning and had the problem resolved within 45 minutes of their arrival. Timely,efficient service Thank You!

Absolutely the friendliest and most accommodating technicians I've encountered in a very long time. I wanted to know which of my options made the most sense, ballpark pricing, and potential timelines. Normally this would be like pulling teeth to get a straight answer, but Michael Murphy not only went over my chosen options but presented me with several more, along with not just ballpark prices but a guaranteed set price for each, and suggestions on when I could get the work scheduled and completed. Both Michael and Javier were courteous, clean and professional, and the exploratory work they did was super clean and with as little intrusion into the structure as necessary to ascertain the scope of the problem. When they left I had the peace of mind knowing that the work was scheduled, when it was scheduled to be completed, the details what the work would involve and what I was paying for it. This is the kind of company I like to do business with.

Shawn was great! He came through same day and installed dishwasher. Very professional, cleaned up his workspace, and made sure that the dishwasher was fully functional as intended before he departed the job. I would like to give Kudos to "Straight Shooter Plumbing", the name of the company caught my eye when I Google looking for a company. I had a previous company out that totally suck, which I will be leaving a review on them. I had a issue in my bathtub, water running slow. Jason McCurdy, with Straight Shooter Plumbing, came to my rescue. He gave me some options for the repair, I choose the one that was best for me. I know my Plumbing issue was giving Jason the blues, but Jason was not going to be defeated, he worked until he fixed my issue. I was so happy. Jason McCurdy is my Superman of Plumbing. Thank you Jason for all your hard work and going above and beyond.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Luis Diaz and Caleb came out to check on a leak and took preventative measures to make sure it wouldn’t turn into a bigger issue. They were super friendly, very polite, and easy to talk to. The work was done efficiently, everything was left very clean, and they explained what they were doing along the way. On top of that, the pricing was very reasonable. Great experience overall — I’d definitely recommend them.

I wish I had the words to extol the virtues Blue Star Plumbing. As we know, the weather hasn’t been great for the last week. Our water heater decided it was having none of it. We called a few plumbing co and the earliest they could come is Saturday (today is Thursday and we’d been w/o hot water since Monday night / Tuesday). A friend of ours recommended Blue Star Plumbing and what wonderful and kind people! I am so grateful to them. They were nice, understanding and very professional… called yesterday evening and they were here first thing this morning with the correct parts and fixed us right up! I just took the longest, hottest shower of my life thanks to them 😁 We will definitely use them again and I highly recommend them to everyone.

Called a few plumbers and these guys. Blue Star was one of the few that didn't have a stupid "pay up front" and "sorry, I can't quote prices over the phone". I needed some quarter turns put in and it's pretty simple (my body doesn't let me do stuff like that anymore so I needed someone to do it.) These guys were great on every front! Casual and professional, courteous and fair. I would absolutely use them again!

Absolutely Love Robert from Riddell! He's very knowledgable, capable and always solves my plumbing issues. He's a great communicator! I especially appreciate that they send the same person each time. I think Robert has been here at least 4 times for gas lights, the pizza oven gas, re-plumbing the fireplace, fixing faucets and installing new plumbing pieces. Thank you!

Gentlemen Plumbers came and estimated.. Courteous and respectful as guest on my property. Glad of their prompt arrival. The grease removal was successful and promptly done. That jetter is a great tool and a job finisher. Cody and helper were efficient and as always most importantly very respectful and courteous. Looks like we are done for now.

I was in need of a new water heater. Matt was referred. So glad he was. Matt is a courteous , kind and professional. He arrived on time, was great in during the whole process from installing to cleaning up. He takes time explaining the problem, solution, process and pricing. Discusses his knowledge of his profession ( learning and working in the plumbing industry with his dad) and enjoys talking about his family, his children and his love of his community and giving back. I highly recommend him and know you will find him as pleasant and professional as I have. 02.27.26 update. I felt that my water just wasn’t hot enough, gave Matt a call and he showed up the next morning, made necessary adjustments with no charges. Great service!! Thank you Matt! You’re much appreciated.

Matt was incredible! I called them on Saturday in a panic, but once I told them what was going on along with sending pictures, they quickly calmed the anxiety and put us at ease. We scheduled the repair for first thing Monday morning. He was in and out in about an hour and half. No mess left behind at all. He even put on the new part we had purchased. Which I didn’t think he was doing. So it was a nice surprise to see that he went ahead and took care of it. Matt was a blessing overall! Super nice family owned business and super nice guy himself. Thanks for giving such A++ service!! We will definitely be recommending to our friends and anyone who asks where they can find a good plumber. Oh!! I'll start by saying I couldn't have been more impressed with Matt and my whole experience with I Know A Guy Plumbing-. Now, the details. My uncle was a plumber, so he took care of all my plumbing needs until he died last year. I have a lot of trust issues with other plumbers. Right away, I perceived that Matt is a man of integrity, and his ongoing actions reinforced that belief. Plus, he grew up as the son of a Responsible Master Plumber (RPM is the specialized license), so he experienced challenging jobs long before he was a Responsible Master Plumber himself. So, I was confident he could handle our slab leak, and as a bonus, his price was the lowest out of the 3 quotes we received. Next, the communication was outstanding. Matt's wife, Kayla, is his office manager, and she did a great job of keeping us informed. Naturally, the job being done correctly is of the utmost importance. Matt pulled the permit without us having to ask him to do so, and the city inspector said Matt did a quality repair. That gives me confidence that everything was fixed as it should be. The excavation crew that Matt uses made a beautiful hole in our garage, using very little space, and after the plumbing repair was done, they did a outstanding job packing the dirt back in, and using rebar drilled into our existing cement before pouring new cement. I have confidence that the new cement will stay intact with the rest of the garage floor. Finally, I love that this is a small business, so I know that I'm going to get the same guy and the same quality every time. The only thing I don't like about writing this review is I hope that Matt's business never gets too big for him to be my personal plumber in the future.
