Plumb Shield Plumbing - Fort Worth
1751 River Run Suite 200, Fort Worth, TX 76107, USA
(817) 773-7966Terry and Damien came by after we could not get our sink to drain anymore. They handled our financial situation with care and gave us options, while being honest as to what each option does, the cost, and longevity estimate of each repair option. Interest free financing was also offered if/when we have to do a full flush out of the line. I felt comfortable that they were helping us get our moneys worth and we weren’t getting the run around.
4 months agoTerry and Damien were very knowledgeable and friendly. Very professional and resolved our clogged sink, running the snake down the pipes 2 more times after the first time didn’t work. I appreciate the work.
4 months agoTerry and Damian were professional and quick. We had 2 different jobs at 2 different houses and I was able to get immediate same day and next day appointments. They explained the issues by showing me the problems and gave me options and up front pricing on fixing the problems. They cleaned up after themselves and other than the problems being fixed and better, you couldn’t even tell they were there. Thank you for a speedy and clean job well done!

7517 John T White Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76120, USA
(817) 770-7700If you are looking for the best plumber in Fort Worth, look no further than Desmond and the team at Drain Kings. We were facing a scary natural gas leak that wouldn't pass city inspection right before a major cold front. After a disappointing experience with another plumber, Drain Kings came in and completely outshined the competition. They replaced our entire natural gas lines and got everything up to code so Atmos could restore our heat just in time. Huge thanks to Desmond, John, and Marcus for their professionalism and hard work. They are personable, respectful, and walk you through every step. For a fair price and top-tier quality, call Drain Kings. You won’t regret it!
1 month agoDrain King is the best!!! Punctual, professional and meticulous! I have used several plumbing companies in the past, but Drain King out performs all of them. They have my loyalty, and will use them exclusively. I have an older home that sometimes develops blockages in the pipe underneath due to its age and other issues. Drain King always does an amazing job!
1 week agoDesmond is a very experienced plumber! He came over immediately when I had a sewer main line issue. Worked very hard to clear it but it was finally determined there was a break. He repaired the break and made the area look great! I would highly recommend Drain Kings to everyone!
1 month agoOn Point Plumbing DFW
1145 Hidden Oaks Dr, Bedford, TX 76022, USA
(469) 275-6994Deacon came out on a rainy Saturday morning to fix my clogged drains/pipes. He fixed everything quickly and was kind and helpful and explained the process every step of the way. Deacon and On Point Plumbing have made me a customer for life! I highly recommend them.
2 weeks agoI honestly panicked a bit when I noticed my kitchen flooring buckling at the seams Thursday morning, then feeling a little warped and water squeezing up between the planks in the afternoon. I immediately called On Point Plumbing DFW. They were able to schedule a repair visit for the next morning, but I was worried about should I turn off the water at the main, asked what do I do in the meantime. They sent Clinton pretty much immediately to my home after the call to see if her could determine where the leak was coming from and if I did need to shut off the water main until the next morning. He took his time trying to rule out all possible causes and when he narrowed it down to likely being a kitchen sink drain leak behind the wall, he contacted a migration/restoration company for me to get that going. I didn't know what to do next, so I was extremely thankful for him setting me up for the next steps. He explained to me what the typical process was for these types of situations. I hadn't ever been through something like this, so having someone answer my questions and help me with the next steps is something I am very thankful for. Clinton was able to get the leak repaired and worked with the restoration company to make the situation as tolerable as possible while I now wait for the insurance side of things. My experiences with On Point Plumbing DFW have been without issues or complaints. They are my go to for plumbing issues.
3 weeks agoWe had to call On Point Plumbing DFW on a Sunday for a leaking shower valve, and they were absolutely incredible. Deacon helped us from start to finish and was the only company we spoke with who communicated clearly and straightforwardly about pricing over the phone. That transparency immediately gave us confidence moving forward. He explained each step of the plumbing repair, confirmed that our shower mixing valve needed to be replaced, and walked us through the entire process before starting the work. There were no surprises, no hidden fees, and no pressure just honest, professional service. They replaced our leaking shower valve quickly and efficiently, and everything is now working perfectly. The job was completed in a timely manner, even on a Sunday, and the quality of the work was excellent. If you’re looking for an honest, reliable plumber in the DFW area, I highly recommend On Point Plumbing DFW. We will absolutely be using Deacon and his team again for any future plumbing needs.

5037 Martin Luther King Jr Fwy Bldg 3, Fort Worth, TX 76119, USA
(817) 438-6533Absolutely blown away by the great service. This is the second time we have used this company. Scott and David were both so professional, polite, and knowledgeable. We had a lot of issues we needed addressed and they explained things clearly and were so patient, but also worked quickly. In and out in about 45 minutes. We had a hot water heater issue with water temp in our primary bathroom not maintaining temperature. It’s gas so we didn’t want to mess with it and they resolved that quickly. They also cleared a clogged sink, fixed water pressure in our kitchen sink and I asked them to look at the outdoor hose spigots. After they finished everything Scott was thoughtful enough to ask if there was anything else I wanted him to look at. That’s when I mentioned the kitchen sink water pressure and he was happy to take a look at it. I am a female in my 30s and felt so comfortable with David and Scott in my home. I will continue to call them for all plumbing needs and will encourage our neighbors to do the same!
1 month agoScott and David did an amazing job!! I had another local plumbing company that was highly rated, come out on two different occasions and in fairly short order. Regardless, they still never fixed my problem. Enter David and Scott- these guys did everything they could to keep the price as low as they could while still giving excellent quality. They replaced a toilet, snaked a line and replaced a valve on my guest bathroom toilet and it cost me the same as the other company for their two visits that didn't fix anything. These guys went above and beyond and even vacuumed the floor when I didn't see any reason to do it - but they did it just because it was the right thing to do! I chose them for their Google Ratings and I am extremely pleased because they gave the service that their reviews claimed! I will absolutely use 1 Tom Plumbers from now on!
5 months agoWe were stood up 2 days in a row by bacon plumbing. We had a busted pipe and was without water. These guys made an appointment for the next day with us and showed up exactly when they said they would. My husband really liked Tom and Scott. We were expecting to pay an arm and a leg but they were very affordable. Highly recommend!!
1 week agoRoyal Flush Plumbing
2566 Gravel Dr, Fort Worth, TX 76118, USA
(817) 222-9777Royal Flush is an extraordinary group of workers. At all levels I spoke with or talked with several employees and all good people. Shout out to Richard- who is humble, knowledgeable, has a true servant’s heart and treated us, our home and the work like he was family always willing to go the extra step, calm, just “get it done” and done “right” sort. Ours is an older house built in the 50’ or 60s with cast iron sewer. We knew we had roots … and when they totally clogged half the house leading to the master bath and we accidentally snapped the cleaning cable off in the pipes trying to fix it ourselves we knew we needed professional help. However, who to trust such a large job? We received estimates from six companies. Royal Flush had one of the most reasonable quotes! Hands down Richard’s willingness to answer all the crazy questions as we weighed our options and worked through all the brain trauma from what we were facing and he was patient with us… never pushing or causing us to feel any pressure. No hard sales pitch. It’s a lot talking about tunneling 40’ under two bathrooms to totally replace the sewer lines. We appreciate Kevin stopping by to determine alternatives to help us also be able to get the kitchen and laundry done so it was a complete replacement of all sewer lines. As well as his consideration for us on some slight changes to the quote. Those things were a positive tipping point for us. We felt like we were being treated fairly and respectfully. After looking at the long cracks in the old cast iron that came out after 70 years of use and the massive infiltration of roots I know we made the right decision to replace it all and an even better decision on who to use to do the work. Royal Flush! We were well taken care of. I can not say enough good things about our experience.
2 years agoRoyal flush came and worked on my old house. I had a clogged pipe. They did an excellent job trying to get that clog undone. They went above and beyond to achieve that goal. You rock Royal Flush you saved my day!!
3 months agoIn less than 24 hours from calling Desmond and the team at Royal Flush Plumbing fixed and repaired issues with broken, leaking pipes underneath my rental property. He also fixed my hot water heater that was leaking small trace amounts of carbon dioxide. Desmond was very responsive and diagnosed the situation quickly and correctly. Very professional attitude and the price was fair. I'm thankful for the strong recommendation to use Royal Flush and appreciate Desmond and Dustin for treating my property like it was their own. Five star recommendation from me!!!!
4 years agoDirect Source Plumbing
3216 W Park Row Dr, Arlington, TX 76013, USA
(817) 561-6400I am extremely impressed with David and Direct Source Plumbing & Drain Cleaning. From the moment we called with this this sudden and unexpected issue, we received exemplary communication, care, professionalism, and thorough service. David explained everything he needed to do in correcting our water heater issue. He arrived on time and worked diligently throughout and our issue was resolved in a quick and timely manner. I highly recommend David & Direct Source Plumbing and Drain Cleaning. Thank you David!
8 months agoI had first called 2 other plumbers for a whole house stoppage to come diagnose the problem. The first was at night, charged me an emergency service call fee, arrived and took a quick look at it and then quoted me an extra large amount for the next step to fully diagnose the issue. I decided to get a second opinion and called a another company who then came out the following morning, took my service call payment first, tried to diagnose the clog, then said they couldn’t tell what it was but would required a massive excavation in the front yard at an excessive amount of money to further diagnose. I couldn’t get a straight answer on some of my questions and just had a feeling something wasn’t right. After they left, and quite frustrated because I felt I was getting nowhere fast, I then called Direct Source Plumbing and spoke with Amie who was very helpful in taking my call, took detailed notes, and with a sense of urgency, relayed my message to the plumber. In a short time, I received a call from Tyler who gave me an good idea of what needed to be done to diagnose the issue. When he arrived he was extremely polite and knowledgeable about the situation, and took the time to explain to me what he was doing, so that I fully understood each step, and ultimately ended up diagnosing and fixing the problem. He even called and had the master plumber, David, confirm and verify his diagnosis. This is how I wish all service calls could be! Tyler is the perfect example of how the ideal repairmen should be. I believe this company and religious-based group is in business for the right reasons, to truly help people when they need it. I can’t possibly recommend them enough! True professionals! Thank you again!
3 years agoI am very pleased with the replacement of my water heater. David was on-time and was very professional, honest, and friendly. He took time to explain everything needed to correctly replace my leaking water heater. The work was completed in a couple of hours without a mess and at competitive rates. I would highly recommend using Direct Source Plumbing and will use them again when another plumbing issue arises.

(469) 418-9316Definitely found my new go to plumbers!! We had a clog in a branch that backed up and flooded our guest room. On Point Plumbing were quick to respond and came out within a few hours. Great work at reasonable prices. Shout out to Clinton and Matt! They were awesome, kind, friendly and knowledgeable! Kept me informed through the entire process. Thanks guys!
1 year agoClinton from On Point Plumbing came to my residence to unclog my disposal. He was absolutely amazing! He explained the issues in detail and he went above and beyond to fix all the issues with my kitchen plumbing. The price was very reasonable. This was the best experience I have ever had with a plumber.
1 year agoClinton did a fantastic job repairing our leaking toilet and re-seating it. He explained the process and showed me each thing he was doing. He was honest about what didn’t need to be replaced. Clinton kept the area clear so we could move through the house and cleaned up beautifully afterward. He even checked out our hot water heater and told me how to flush it. 10/10 would recommend and use again.

He was extremely knowledgeable, explained everything along the way, and was kind and courteous too. He organized each step of the process (diagnosis, hole digging, repair, fill dirt replacement). Rockwater is extremely reasonable, honest, no hidden fees, and had discounts to offer. I highly recommend them for your plumbing needs. We will definitely use them again for any plumbing issues. Common Drain Issues in Fort Worth
Expansive Clay Soil: Fort Worth’s heavy clay soil is notorious for shifting, especially during the hot North Texas summers. This movement can cause underground sewer lines to crack or develop "bellies," leading to frequent clogs that a standard plunger simply cannot fix.
Hard Water Scale: The water in Tarrant County is relatively hard, leading to calcium and mineral buildup inside your pipes. Over time, this scale narrows the passage for wastewater, making it much easier for hair, soap scum, and small debris to create a total blockage.
Invasive Tree Roots: In established Fort Worth neighborhoods like Mistletoe Heights or Ryan Place, majestic oak and pecan trees add beauty but their roots seek out moisture. These roots can penetrate even small cracks in sewer lines, creating a thick web that traps waste and causes major backups.
Kitchen Grease Buildup: Fort Worth loves its BBQ and home-cooked meals. However, pouring grease and fats down the drain is a recipe for disaster. This leads to the "fatberg" effect, a leading cause of stubborn kitchen sink backups across the metroplex.
Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for Fort Worth
Spring Cleaning: After the winter, check your outdoor area drains and gutters. Fort Worth’s heavy spring thunderstorms can quickly overwhelm a drain clogged with leaves, leading to localized flooding near your foundation.
Summer Hydration: During the peak of Texas heat, the soil shrinks. Keep your foundation properly hydrated to prevent pipes from shifting and snapping. Check your drains for slow flow, which often signals a shift in the main line.
Fall Root Prevention: Fall is when trees often push significant root growth. If you have older pipes, consider a preventative hydro-jetting service before the holidays to ensure your sewer line is clear of encroaching roots.
Winter Pipe Prep: While Fort Worth doesn't freeze often, when it does, it's brutal. Ensure your outdoor faucets are covered and indoor pipes under sinks are insulated to prevent freezing that can lead to burst pipes and subsequent drainage issues.
Average Drain Cleaning Costs in Fort Worth
Prices in Fort Worth vary based on the severity of the clog, the location of the blockage (main sewer line vs. secondary kitchen/bath lines), and whether advanced equipment like hydro-jetting or camera inspections are required.
Frequently Asked Questions about Drain Cleaning in Fort Worth
How quickly can I get a plumber in Fort Worth?
By using our zip code filtering and availability verification, we often find plumbers who can arrive at your Fort Worth home within 2 to 4 hours.
Do Fort Worth plumbers offer emergency 24-hour service?
Yes, many do. We specifically verify which plumbers in our network are currently taking emergency calls in your specific part of Tarrant County before we connect you.
Is hydro-jetting necessary for Fort Worth homes?
For homes with significant root intrusion or heavy grease buildup—common in older Fort Worth neighborhoods—hydro-jetting is often the most effective long-term solution compared to traditional snaking.
How does the clay soil in Tarrant County affect my drains?
The shifting soil can cause 'bellies' or breaks in your line. If you notice recurring clogs, we recommend a camera inspection to see if the soil movement has physically damaged your underground pipes.
What is the most common cause of clogs in Fort Worth?
It is usually a combination of hard water mineral buildup and cooking grease. These two elements combine to create stubborn blockages that typically require professional-grade equipment to clear.
