Top Rated Plumbers in Midland
D&D Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning
1101 W Florida Ave, Midland, TX 79701, USA
(432) 687-1011We have a water softener that D and D installed in our last house and then moved to our new one. The water softener is continuously draining so we called and D and D gave us an 8:30-12 window. I was at home waiting throughout the window that they gave. No one showed up and nothing was communicated to us about them being late or a call to reschedule. The lack of respect for our time is astounding. I understand that things happen but I would think for the $175 service fee that they charge they could at least communicate that they’re running behind. Although I shouldn’t be surprised because when they moved the water softener into our new house the plumber brought a helper that did all the work himself. They then charged the plumbers fee as well as a helper fee, which I could have understood if that had been communicated beforehand but alas they don’t communicate.
2 weeks agoJuan Nájera tackled the sixty-something year-old plumbing in our church building to clear toilets that frequently clog. He was professional, fast, and knowledgeable, and did not stop at merely succeeding in making them flush. He stressed the system repeatedly to ensure the root cause was addressed, and hopefully ensured the fix will last. We are grateful for same-day service, excellent communication, and a problem free transaction.
3 months agoD&D has been a great company servicing my home. I have used them in the past, but more recently (yesterday) Christian and his helper cam to fix my shower fixture and flush my water heater. They were both very friendly, courteous and professional. Christian answered all my questions and explained the job in full detail. He estimated the job would take 2-3 hours depending on any issues foreseen getting the shower faucet removed. Christian lucked out and was able to complete all tasks in under an hour, saving me money.
1 month agoAction Air Plumbing & Septic
1309 Cotton Flat Rd, Midland, TX 79701, USA
(432) 620-8900I called Action Air & Plumbing right before the freeze hit letting them know I was in a bind with my septic tank. Terry sent someone out the same day to take and look and get the problem addressed. Terry is extremely knowledgeable and I appreciate him taking the time to answer all my questions and provide me tips on how to keep my septic tank in the best shape. They installed a brand new septic tank for me last year and did an excellent job. They have only done great work for me and I highly recommend them to everyone!
1 month agoWe recently used Action Air to pump out our septic system. I don’t leave reviews often, but Albert did a great job. He was very knowledgeable about what seems to be going on with our system and was very open and willing to share his experience and insights. Thank you for the great work! Juan
4 weeks agoOverall service was impeccable - the $325.00 to winterize a building with a water well and septic are different. You have to be careful putting chemicals into a septic and just turn the well off. Turn up the heater - This process may have taken 45 minutes. Quick to respond before bad weather and that was important to the seller of this building.
1 month agoHalls Rooter & Plumbing
1900 Rhode Island Ave, Midland, TX 79701, USA
(432) 247-1247We had Halls Plumbing come out to scope the plumbing before purchasing our home, and later there was a discrepancy related to that inspection. Mr. Samuel absolutely stood by his word and went above and beyond to make it right. He personally came out on a Saturday, worked alongside his team, and fixed the plumbing blockage free of charge. Thanks to him, we had fully functioning plumbing again the very same day. It’s rare to find a company with this level of integrity, accountability, and work ethic. I would absolutely recommend Halls Plumbing to anyone looking for honest, reliable service.
1 month agoWe had a tankless water heater installed February 13, 2026. Jake is a very professional, trustworthy, knowledgeable and efficient employee. We will definitely utilize this company, specifically Jake, in the future for all of our plumbing needs. Highly recommend!!
1 month agoAngel and the lining division went above and beyond with helping with our repair! From start to finish, they were professional, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. They explained everything clearly, showed up when they said they would, and made what could have been a stressful situation feel completely manageable. The quality of their work was excellent, and they left everything clean and tidy. It’s rare to find a team that is both this skilled and genuinely nice!! Highly recommend!
2 weeks agoThe GO Company
2527 County Rd 103-W, Midland, TX 79701, USA
(432) 818-7272Came within 30 minutes and fixed the main line issue that had a back up. They had the equipment did their thing! Respectful men. Also showed me the camera view of my pipes, indicating the need to replaced them. Got all the measurements and was able to set me up for an estimate for the future. Looking forward to working with them.
2 weeks agoOUTSTANDING service ! had our main water pipe bust around 11pm-midnight , called them a little after midnight , and someone was here by 1:30 (they had to drive an hour). but they got here pretty quick and fixed our problem very quick & efficiently ! highly recommend giving them a call if you ever have any issues !
1 month agoI called The GO Company because of the reviews and they were excellent. From the initial call with the young lady on the phone to the end results, I have zero complaints. I called late in the afternoon and I wanted to upgrade my hot water heater from a 30 gallon to a 50 gallon. The young lady needed measurements to ensure it would fit in the designated area and I advised it would probably be after 5 before I could get her that information. She told me no problem that she would respond and she did. The day of my appointment, Mark, called before hand to ensure the time was still convenient for me and gave his estimated arrival time. Him and Manuel were on time, super professional, kind, and answered all my questions with more patience than I probably deserved. They stayed on task, worked very well together with Manuel anticipating anything Mark might need, and cleaned up behind themselves. I couldn't have imagined a better experience! I will be calling them again if I need plumbing services, I highly recommend.

2 years agoPlumbers Midland TX
5608 Gallop Ct, Midland, TX 79705, USA
(432) 203-4700Plumbers Midland TX were fantastic. The leak in my house was in a difficult location to reach, and they took great care not to damage any of my yard landscaping. They showed me what they used to fix the leak after it was discovered. Excellent customer service, and I strongly recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing services.
3 years agoI contacted Plumbers Midland TX about a leaking hot water tank. Technicians were on their way for repair services within minutes of calling to schedule an appointment! 8 years agoRainbow Plumbing
2317 Field St unit r, Odessa, TX 79761, USA
(432) 334-0508I will not be using Rainbow Plumbing again. The plumber came by on Friday and got the water to flow but it lasted 1 day before it clogged up again. It being the weekend and the extra cost of having plumber come to my house again was costly so I waited for the weekday. Called and let them know I did not receive or sign a receipt for my payment. When I called to let them know that my problem was not fixed and now I have a water leak from my PVC pipes. I asked if they could send some out to fix the issue and she stated that she can but we would be charged again. She stated the invoice stated NO Guarantee!! So I then asked about the NEW issue I had due to the plumbers work. Both drains are now leaking and this was not an issue before!! Now I have to fix the drains and unclog my own sink. What did I pay for !!! Never again.
6 months agoIs it common practice to test a toilet by intentionally putting large amounts of toilet paper inside of it? The plumber from Rainbow Plumbing proceeded to use a whole roll of my personal toilet paper trying to intentionally cause a clog. He claim to have found no issues with the toilet. I question the reliability of this testing method and if it was necessary or even professional? My toilet was leaking at the base the same day he ran a massive amount of toilet paper in it. I hired another plumber to perform a thorough inspection.
1 year agoTop notch service from office staff to Jacob. He explained everything that was going on and did an impeccable job. Came out very quickly and got my issue resolved quickly as well. Will definitely use Rainbow again.
9 months agoWTP West Texas Plumbing
10700 TX-191, Midland, TX 79707, USA
(432) 218-7125Absolutely Disgraceful Business Practices I don’t typically write reviews, but the way this company has treated us after we spent over $20,000 out of pocket with them deserves to be exposed. We committed to a full home re-piping through this company — a major investment we trusted them with. After the job, we began noticing issues and contacted them to address what we believed to be a warranty-related problem. I was very clear up front: I would not be paying for any visit unless we proceeded with further work. This was acknowledged by their office, and when the plumber came out, he said himself there would be no charge for the visit. No repairs were made. They simply looked at the issue and left. Now, they are aggressively pursuing me over a $150 invoice for a service call where absolutely nothing was done — and even worse, they’re threatening to “make every effort” to collect it “regardless of the cost.” That is a direct quote from their response. It’s completely unprofessional and bordering on harassment. To add insult to injury, during the re-pipe project we discovered we were overcharged for labor on days they claimed to be at our home — but weren’t even there. We let it slide at the time in good faith. Clearly, that was a mistake. If you’re considering this company, beware. They will take your money, inflate your bill, and then harass you for even more — even when their own employees confirm that there will be no additional charges. As a business owner myself, I take integrity seriously — and I will be actively spreading awareness about this experience throughout the community. West Texas is a small place, and word of mouth carries weight. I will make sure that friends, neighbors, and anyone seeking recommendations are made fully aware of how this company operates. I will also be notifying other local business owners to steer clear of engaging with such dishonest and misleading practices. Reputations are built on trust, and once that’s lost, it spreads fast. Absolutely shameful.
10 months agoI called them for a bad water heater, I was looking into getting a tankless water heater since that kind of installation Im not familiar with. They promised they would get back to me the next day with a quote and installation. I took PTO from my job which isnt that easy to do and waited all day. I called the office over 5 times and just kept getting the we are working on it, we'll get back to you answer. 5pm rolled around, and I went and purchased a classic gas water heater and did it myself, when I really wanted a tankless heater. They cost me a day of PTO, and I ended up with a gas water heater again when I wanted a tankless. They are unreliable do not use.
1 year agoThe service we received was OUTSTANDING. Eric was GREAT at communicating throughout the entire process, was efficient and great at explaining things to me simply. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend west Texas plumbing to anyone needing a professional job done WITHOUT breaking the bank

Common Drain Issues in Midland
Hard Water Scaling: Midland’s water supply is known for high mineral content. Over time, calcium and magnesium build up inside your pipes, narrowing the passage and making it easier for debris to cause a total blockage.
Silt and Sand Infiltration: Given our West Texas climate and frequent windstorms, fine sand and silt can often find its way into external drains and cleanouts, leading to sluggish drainage that requires professional hydro-jetting.
Aging Infrastructure: In some of Midland’s more historic neighborhoods, older clay or cast-iron pipes are prone to cracking or root intrusion from thirsty mesquite trees seeking moisture deep underground.
Kitchen Grease Clogs: With the high-energy lifestyle of the Permian Basin, many households deal with grease clogs caused by cooking oils that solidify in the pipes, especially during our cooler winter nights when ground temperatures drop.
Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for Midland
Spring: Check your outdoor cleanouts after West Texas windstorms to ensure blowing sand and debris haven't obstructed your home's external drainage system.
Summer: Monitor high-use drains during the hot Midland summers; increased water usage for landscaping and guest visits can put extra strain on already vulnerable kitchen and bathroom pipes.
Fall: Before the first Permian Basin freeze, have your main line inspected for minor clogs that could catch debris and lead to a backup during the holiday season.
Winter: Ensure your pipes are properly insulated. Never pour grease down the drain after holiday cooking, as the cold ground causes oil to solidify instantly inside your plumbing.
Average Drain Cleaning Costs in Midland
Pricing for drain cleaning in Midland typically depends on the location of the clog, the severity of the blockage, and the specialized equipment needed, such as professional-grade augers or hydro-jetting systems.
Frequently Asked Questions about Drain Cleaning in Midland
How fast can I get a drain cleaner in Midland?
Because we verify availability in real-time by calling plumbers in our network, we can often find a technician in the Midland area who can be at your door for same-day service.
Does Midland's hard water affect my drains?
Yes, Midland’s hard water creates mineral scale buildup. This scale acts like sandpaper inside your pipes, catching hair and soap scum, which leads to more frequent clogs than in areas with softer water.
Do you service all zip codes in the Midland area?
Our system is designed to filter our network of certified plumbers specifically by your zip code, ensuring we only connect you with a professional who is currently working in your immediate part of town.
What is the most common cause of sewer backups in West Texas?
In Midland, the combination of shifting soil (which can cause pipe offsets) and mineral deposits is the leading cause of slow drains and sewer line backups.
Is hydro-jetting better for Midland homes than snaking?
For homes dealing with heavy mineral scaling or sand infiltration common in the Permian Basin, hydro-jetting is often more effective as it scrubs the pipe walls clean rather than just punching a hole through the clog.
