I had a fantastic experience with this team after they installed a new outdoor spigot in my backyard. When I noticed a connection issue a few months later, their office staff was incredibly helpful and managed to fit me in for a follow-up appointment the very next day. My tech consultant, Carlos, did an amazing job. He was prompt, professional, and took the time to be thorough while still working impressively fast. I really appreciated his clear communication throughout the process and highly recommend their reliable service. This is probably the fourth or fifth project I’ve had completed with reliance and they continued to do a great job.

This place is a scam, and the reason they have so many reviews is they relentlessly follow-up until you leave one. I had avoided leaving one until now because I was hoping to have this resolved. I had a tech come out to evaluate a leak and was quoted about $2600 for the repair. We were informed that we would be charged 50% up front and then on completion of the work. However, we decided to cancel (same day) because we found a much cheaper quote elsewhere. That was November. As of today, I cannot get a return call for a refund. The customer service department is excellent, but they cannot approve refunds and require approval from a manager in the field. I have called multiple times, and still no resolution. I intend to take them to small claims court and file with BBB next week.

After hours cleared a blocked septic line….but now it’s partly clogged after less than a month. But since it’s not totally blocked they won’t honor the warranty. Not the level of service I’m used to getting from them over the last 25 years. Things change! As do customer bases and company standards. UPDATE The reply JR posted to my poor experience review obfuscates the fact that their after hours guy merely pushed the clog down the line. I travel a lot and have only been home for 2 out of the 4 weeks since I paid over $500 ($389 for service plus $125 for after hours service) to have the line cleared. It was extra special to have JR blame my explanation as an excuse for their poor service. And if my line was compromised and a problem, why is their Google review reply the first notification I’ve gotten? They are not the company they used to be.

While packing for vacation, we realized we had a pipe leaking in the wall or slab in the early evening. Alex arrived within an hour and fortunately found the leak was above the slab. I think it was less than two hours before he was finished cleaning up and ready to leave. And that was while keeping us informed of what he was doing, explaining our options, and being very informative, friendly, and professional while he worked. Obviously he needed to cut a couple of holes in the walls but he kept that to a minimum and cleaned up afterwards. He also helped connect us with a water mitigation company that seems to be great to work with too. An out of hours plumbing emergency handled as well as I think it could have possibly gone. Alex and other employees like him are why we have continued to call on Johnny Rooter for almost 20 years when we need a plumber.

Alex was super professional, friendly, and fast when he came to install a new toilet, replace a garbage disposal, and address a few other plumbing issues around the house.

The bathtub drain had been draining very slowly for months and water would often stand at our feet. We finally called their team and a technician came promptly. He removed a heavy buildup inside the drain pipe, flushed it thoroughly and even cleaned some hidden debris. Now, the water drains quickly and using the shower feels much more convenient. They also offered tips on preventing future clogs, which I found very helpful.

Hooray for Zachary C! Routine maintenance turned into an urgent situation. We contacted Proven Plumbing based on the stellar Google reviews and nothing but positive recommendations from our community FB page. 40+ year old house, time for some routine bib and spigot replacements. The scheduled the consultation for the next day and by the end of the day we had received a quote. We accepted the quote but were planning to wait until after the freeze / ice storm to schedule the service since nothing was urgent. About 3 weeks later we received a call from our MUD that our usage was 5x the average and our meter was running constantly and we should check for leaks. Nothing in the house, I went around the perimeter and discovered an unplanned, small pond in the corner near our gas meter. I called late in the day and Proven scheduled us for the next morning. I should point out the communication is amazing via text updates and even a call when they were running 20 minutes late. Zachary C was our plumber and he greeted us cheerily. I had spent the previous night fretting over how they would even fix this. Zach took at look, didn't blink, joked about not having any ducks yet, grabbed a shovel, and got to work. I'm not sure how he dug it out so fast but just like that the pipe and leak was exposed. He also pointed out a kink in the pipe where it entered the slab, from the original installation, and took the time to chisel out some of the slab so he could round out the pipe and make the repair on the other side of the kink. We're extremely happy with the work and the service and we have them scheduled to come out next week to do the maintenance items.

I recently had them come out to my house to fix a water leak near my main shutoff valve that was caused by some pesky tree roots. Fortunately, Zachary C. was able to come out quickly and resolve the issue. He took the time to clearly explain what caused the leak, what he did to fix it, and the additional steps he took to help prevent it from happening again. He did an excellent job, and I plan to request him for any future work I need around my house. Highly recommend!

These guys are a great find. Highly recommended for plumbing. They showed up fast when I needed them and replaced my old water heater in just over an hour! Really. I got three quotes and they were by far the best price for a quality unit.

The best plumbing company in Austin. Justin with Affordable Plumbing helped me replace my commercial water heater for my nail salon. He helped me avoid getting taken advantage of by another plumbing company and knew all of the codes/guidelines for a commercial install. Before he even knew if I would go with his company, he helped me just because it was the right thing to do. Justin also met the inspector (required for commercial) to make sure everything went smoothly. I’ll also add, he has a very reasonable price. I will come to Affordable Plumbing for all of my plumbing needs!

I needed a toilet repaired for my home in East Austin. The toilet had leaks due to worn out washers in the tank. Master plumber Dan Howard came out and walked me through the options. I had him perform a complete tank repair and had no issues. I then noticed the second toilet start to show the same issues and that’s when I called GCP again to repair the second toilet. These toilets have the original washers from 2008 so it’s not surprising to seem them both start to fail around the same time. Dan and the team at GCP made things easy for me to schedule and that was important as I didn’t have a lot of time. Could I have found a lower price option? Maybe. Could I have done it myself? Maybe. What I needed was for the repairs to be done right the first time and give me the peace of mind that the work would be done quickly with warranty. They also took care not to dirty home floors. I recommend GCP!!

I am so glad I went with my gut feeling (and glowing reviews) and called GC Plumbing. Daniel couldn't have been a more honest, straightforward specialist with twenty years experience. I was afraid I had a busted pipe but it was just a worn out seal. The spigot was 26 years old so I'm thrilled to have a much better, brass spigot to be an addition to my home for the rest of my life, perhaps. Could not be more pleased with everything from the length of time to respond (initially on my first call this morning). They were very responsive right from the get go. Yet again, Kinsey Plumbing knocked it out of the park! In my opinion, they have some of the most knowledgeable, considerate and professional plumbers that have worked on this house and all for a very reasonable price. I needed to have my hot water heater flushed as well as some static testing done on my overall plumbing system. Wesley, a recent transplant from Georgia, was the service rep that was assigned to the task. He was fantastic! Georgia’s loss is truly Texas’ gain! Not only was he punctual but he did a fantastic job of getting things sorted out for me. He was patient, answered every question that I had in a very positive, informative manner. I immediately felt comfortable that I could trust all that Wesley said. He was also quite helpful in making proactive suggestions that will help mitigate future potential plumbing problems. We live in a home built in 2001, and our air ducts had never been cleaned. Over 20+ years of dust, pollen, and who-knows-what had accumulated in there. From the first phone call, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. They clearly explained the process and provided a fair, upfront quote with no hidden fees. The technicians who arrived were punctual, polite, and meticulous. They took great care to protect our home, laying down runners and containing the work area perfectly. The cleaning process itself was thorough and fascinating to see—they showed me some of what came out of the ducts, and it was astounding (and a little shocking!). The difference is unbelievable. The air in our home feels fresher, cleaner, and lighter almost immediately. UPDATED twice. Too long, don’t read. Find someone else. Poor communication, wouldn’t stand by their work. I'll give an honest review here, there have been some issues outside of their control, and some issues on their side. But most of the major fault is theirs. After posting my initial review I got a prompt call and an explanation of what went wrong. Then I came home and found the whole setup spraying water and cycling on and off excessively. They said resubmit to the warranty company, but the warranty company said they are no longer working with this company. We have a home warranty and had a sewer grinder pump fail It's an older home which has complicated things. We were without use of our home. Initial call to them was on 2/3. They couldn't come for 3 days, until 2/6. Their reason was that was their contract with the home warranty company. On 2/6 they worked on it for a few hours and spent quite a bit of time on the phone with the warranty company. That's not their fault. By the time the repair was authorized they couldn't drive to get the part because the place was closing. They wouldn't come back until 2/11, even though the part was in stock and they could have picked it up the next morning. The repair guy did patch it enough so I could run it manually as needed and showed me how to do that. On 2/11 he returned with the part. He comes while we're at work, leaves after a few hours. Never hear anything. I look at the side of the house and it's cleaned up, put back together. I notice the switch is flipped to OFF, I assume it's done and he made a mistake, so I flip it to AUTO and forget about it. Then I start getting emails from warranty company about the service not being complete. On Sunday 2/15 I call to find out what's going on. I'm told they don't know anything but will ask the technician tomorrow and call me back. No call on Monday 2/16, so I call back on Tuesday 2/17, said technician will call me. Someone from there calls twice on Tuesday but doesn't leave a message, I couldn't answer. I call again on Wednesday, same thing, technician will call me. Finally Thursday AM (2/19) I'm told the pump can still be run in manual mode, but a part is needed and they don't know when it will come in. We wait until the next week and start calling again on Monday to find out when the part will be in. Told we'd get a call back, don't get called back. Call again Tuesday, first time told someone will call right back, they don't, so call again at 5 and told the part just came in and they will fix it on Thursday (2/26). Technician comes on time, calls me after and says he's done. But the only part he could get requires a neutral wire in my electrical box so now I need an electrician to come rewire it. Oh and by the way, it won't run in manual mode anymore. So now we can't use the house again until I can get that fixed. That evening I receive a bill for $950 from them. I'm writing this review after receiving this bill after hours so I can't even call and find out why they are billing me when the home warranty company told me everything was covered. I call the home warranty company and they said they contractor hasn't submitted the report to them yet so they have no idea either. UPDATE. After submitting the review I get a call from someone who is genuinely trying to figure out what happened. He explains some challenges they had and agrees there's some things to fix. He acknowledges the bill was sent in error and their communication wasn't up to his standards. Update #2. See the attached video. Water spraying everywhere. They wouldn’t just come out to fix it. Said to call home warranty company. Home warranty company said they don’t work with them anymore. I’m actually glad to be done with them. Wouldn’t call me for days on end, never tell me what's going on or if I can even use my house. It took from 2/3 until 2/26 to do the repair, 6 days of that was waiting on a part. I called them 9 times and my wife called 4 times. After all that the repair was terrible quality.

I had an excellent experience with this company. The dispatch team stayed on top of my repair from start to finish, and the plumber immediately spotted that the toilet sitting on my tile floor was a cheap model that could eventually crack or damage the tiles. Within two days, they sourced a new toilet that fit my floor perfectly and installed it the right way. Every person I dealt with — from dispatch to the plumbers — was friendly, professional, and had a great attitude. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Call them first if you want a great team and a repair done correctly.

We needed a gas fitter to help us hook up our natural gas grill to an existing outlet. ROD had someone out the next day. Eddie was absolutely amazing. It ended up being pretty tricky but Eddie went above and beyond to get it figured out. He even painted it after he was done to make sure it looked nice. Very happy with ROD and will absolutely use them again for any plumbing needs.
