Expert Drain Cleaning in Bastrop, TX

Not called “Doug the plumber” anymore. They changed their name or got bought out or something. Forget offhand what it’s called now. Anyway plumber came in and looked at my leaking toilet(leaking around the bottom on the floor, not clogged and overflowing). He pulled off the toilet and cleaned up the floor, inspected the toilet itself, replaced the wax seal and reinstalled the toilet. Also shimmed it because apparently it had a slight wobble. Guy was super nice and worked quickly. Now my toilet doesn’t wobble or leak, did a great job.

Brandon and Barrett did an excellent job on our faucets, bathtub, sink, and some outdoor piping. Brandon clearly explained the possibility of additional work before starting the task. He got us quotes for 3 different options before beginning the work. The staff that answers the phone were always courteous and helpful. They returned calls quickly also. We have used Doug the Plumber service in the past and plan to do so for any future plumbing needs.

Had several issues under the sink, he explained to me what needed to be done then proceeded the job, he was very knowledgeable and I was very appreciative that he cleaned up after himself. He did a great job in replacing the items that needed it. I appreciate his honesty also we talked about the pipes underneath the mobile home in kitchen area that may need up dating so I would like to get a bid so I can turn into mortgage insurance . Savior Plumbing Company did an excellent job from start to finish. Plumbers Steve and Caleb were professional, knowledgeable, and efficient while repairing a main water line break, replacing a toilet flange, and replacing the gasket. Anthony was very great. Parobek is always on top of their customer service. Anthony was a great representation of the company. He was very personable and knowledgeable on HVAC work. He made me some great custom options that fit me and my lifestyle the best. Today we upgraded my old thermostat that was falling off the wall. He went above and beyond and helped me take my old cat tower down to the dumpster. I highly recommended asking for him personally when needing AC or heater work. I want to share the incredible experience my mother had with this company. Justin Whitlow came out to help with her hot water heater, and he was truly outstanding. He was patient, kind, and explained every option clearly. He even gave me a discount card to use with their AC technician to help my mom save money, which meant so much to us. While Justin was working, my mom’s AC suddenly went out. Justin immediately called another technician from the same company, and Anthony Maldonado arrived quickly. Anthony was just as amazing — he found the issue right away, honored the discount Justin provided, and even offered an additional discount to help my mom since she’s elderly and struggling. He worked fast and was incredibly attentive, making sure she didn’t sit in the heat any longer than necessary. Both Justin and Anthony showed genuine compassion, professionalism, and integrity. They treated all of us like family, and that kind of care is rare. They spent their personal time just making sure we were okay, explained many options so we could find peace with it all. I just can’t thank these two men enough for everything they did. They truly went above and beyond, and I am deeply grateful. Highly recommend this team.

Caleb from Blue Ribbon was top notch. Professional, neighborly, and I could tell he had my best interests in mind when completing an urgent shower kit install, which became a necessary repair for us after our old bath faucet broke and forced us to turn off our water. He also did a great job of explaining everything he was doing, along with helpful tips for us as homeowners. Will be back to Blue Ribbon for future home maintenance needs.

After another plumbing company called back after 8 hrs of waiting to tell me they couldnt come out until the next day, i called Blue Ribbon and they came at 6:30 pm and had my repair completed by 8pm so i could turn whole house water supply back on. Yesterday I called Blue Ribbon to come give an estimate on a water leak in my back yard. Long story short, Caleb Mock showed up (after a 30 minute CTM) at 0830 today. He dug out a lot of mud around the shut off valve, Replaced the valve and got me taken care of. He did an outstanding job for me, and I highly recommend Blue Ribbon for their expeditious response. 100% customer satisfaction on the entire experience. Great American Values and company!

Today, I had the pleasure of getting a brand new sink and faucet installed in my kitchen by Skylar from Dear Plumber. He arrived on time, was extremely pleasant and very professional, with great attention to detail. My old sink was extremely heavy and quite difficult to get out, but he did a fantastic job of doing so, making sure that everything was handled with care. It was a lot of work, but he gotc my beautiful new faucet and sink installed in no time. In fact, there was a very small piece missing from the sink hardware box and he left and drove to Home Depot and bought one for me so my sink would be complete. I can’t say enough about what a great job he did. I highly recommend this company for any of your plumbing needs. I added before and after pictures so you can see the big difference.

Skylar is a really nice guy and did a good job; but he prices by the job rather than hourly. He gave me a fixed price beforehand of $511 and I agreed with it. But it only took a hour and five minutes. That’s more than my lawyer or accountant charge by the hour and three times what car dealers charge for mechanics. I just didn’t feel good about it in the end. It made me feel like I made a bad decision.

Skylar has been nothing but professional and prompt seeing to our needs. A home built in th 20's and needed a water heater. He had to make things work in the small area it was installed in. Above and beyond and fair price. Our primary home, our tankless water heater went out during covid. Skylar searched abd searched for a heater for us. Within less that a week, one was installed. Once again a very fair price. We were selling our primary home, and after inspection, the now owners wanted sone plumbing done. Skylar to the rescue. We recommend Dear Plumber. Reggie, Jenn, Keith and the team at Star of Texas Plumbing did a great job getting my newly acquired home in Fayettev County back in shape. The house required several plumbing repairs, some upgrades, and the installation of a tankless water heater and some new gas lines. Quite a tall order, but they did a thorough, professional job. Not Doug the plumber, some other company under thr guise of a local business. Have a small leak under one bathing sink. They could not find it but quoted me 600 to replace my cheaper pipes with no guarantee it would fix the leak. Guy who came out was super nice but it all feels scummy.

If you're in a hurry or have a urgent request, don't bother calling. The lady on the phone has to spend 15 minutes asking you numerous questions and setting up an account only to tell you that no one is available for a day or two. Although it's sufficient, but when you need service and you're in a hurry, she can't tell you if anyone's available until she says after an account is set up. No thank you. People need to know if you're available right away. Stop wasting people's time

Two toilets were “running” consistently. Brock came out and fixed the issues by replacing gasket pieces in under 10 minutes! Thankful for an easy fix and very thankful to Lake Travis Plumbing for coming quickly and on time with communication from start to finish. Highly recommend and will use for all future plumbing issues!
