Their professionalism made the whole experience stress free.
2 months agoPlumber True Services of Aubrey, TX
4150 Gazebo St, Aubrey, TX 76227, USA
(214) 833-5893The guys came in and cleared a clogged toilet in less than 15 minutes with air pressure plunger and charged me $200 , while the guy on phone who I contacted told me just about the $60 price and never gave me a transparent pricing. The plumber was good, the company is pathetic no transparency of pricing.

3 months agoMother Modern Plumbing, Sewer, & Drain
5934 Royal Ln Suite 250, Dallas, TX 75230, USA
(214) 247-6671I had a great experience with Mother Modern plumbing from inquiring about service on the phone with Gabby through installation with Joe. Dillion came out and scoped our project and gave us a bid right then. Joe came out the same day and installed my kitchen sink, faucet, cleared blockage and installed bathroom sink all before 4 pm and in time to cook thanksgiving dinner. The whole team was a breeze to work with and they explained everything which I appreciate! I signed up for the membership and will use them for my hot water heater in a few months and future projects. Thank you!!
5 months agoI had a major sewer line shifting problem at my house, and Mother Morden Plumbing did an amazing job! The technicians were professional, responsible, and knew exactly what they were doing. They came quickly and fixed the issue fast. I’m really impressed with their service — highly recommend this company!
7 months agoMother Modern Plumbing did an awesome job. From the initial consult all the way to the end of the project. Our line was difficult to locate and buried deep by our house but they made sure they completed all the work same day so we could have water. Mario, our plumber was very knowledgeable, explained everything and did a great job. The best part of this whole experience is that Colton quoted me a set price and even though the job took way longer than they anticipated that price did not change. I would highly recommend Mother Plumbing. They’ve got a new, impressed customer in me.
7 months agoFPP Plumbing
12800 Westridge Blvd suite 116, Frisco, TX 75035, USA
(469) 998-8999I highly recommend this team for any plumbing needs. I’m a local home inspector and Dennis helped me retrieve a camera from a sewer line today. His 30-minute response time and helpful attitude were top-notch. It’s great to have a reliable plumber to call when things get tricky.
4 months agoI had a water leak coming from my water heater and needed an emergency plumber. The plumber arrived within about 20 minutes, stopped the leak, and inspected the unit. He explained clearly that the water heater needed to be replaced and answered all my questions. The water heater was located in the attic, which made the job more complex. They offered a fair and reasonable price considering the attic installation and the scope of work. It wasn’t cheap, but the pricing made complete sense. They also recommended the best water heater option for my home. The water heater replacement was done the same day. They pulled the city permit and handled the city inspection, so everything was done the right way. I’m extremely happy with the service, pricing, and response time. This is now my go-to plumber for anything. Highly recommend FPP Plumbing.
3 months agoDenys did an excellent job replacing our ice maker water valve. He was professional, efficient, and made sure everything was working perfectly before he left. Highly recommend his service!
2 months agoLex's Plumbing
7577 Lake Trail, Frisco, TX 75036, USA
(469) 336-3919I would absolutely not recommend hiring this company, especially for work in older homes. A tub waste and overflow repair in our 1950s house resulted in significant damage and ultimately forced a full tub and tile replacement. No structural issues were identified prior to work beginning and the only risk disclosed in advance was potential cosmetic chipping, which I understood. I had another estimate prior to Lex's Plumbing who also did not identify any issues. During removal of the tub shoe using a power tool, the tub was damaged and later attributed to pre-existing corrosion. Afterward, I consulted multiple master plumbers and repair professionals (due to the extensive work necessary to repair), all of whom stated that this type of damage is far more consistent with forceful removal than with a hidden defect alone. The outcome was weeks of disruption and many thousands of dollars in required repairs, with original 1950s materials lost because they could not be matched. I requested a refund for the unsuccessful repair and a sewer camera inspection I could not move forward on due to a loss of trust. No refund was offered. While communication was professional, I certainly do not trust their professional judgment and would not use them again. This experience showed a serious lack of judgment and accountability, and I would strongly caution anyone considering hiring them.
3 months agoI was extremely disappointed after reading such great reviews on this company. ‘Our goal is to provide top quality service at affordable prices’ - not the case this time. I had them come out to fix a loose shower handle. Although hesitant to have a plumber out, we just have not had the time to attempt to repair this ourselves. I called and scheduled after being told it would $85 trip fee plus the cost of the repair. Never imagined they would quote me $300 to diagnose plus the trip fee. For a loose handle! Beware as they do not disclose this at the time of scheduling and I even asked! Instead of gaining a customer, I was left with such a negative impression.
3 months agoMike Young was great to work with. He was friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. He was able to determine the cause of the issue 10 minutes after arrival and was wrapped up within the hour. Mike’s attentiveness and his willingness to go above and beyond (he even wiped down and reset the entire master bathroom) has earned him a client for life. Thanks again Mike!

Common Drain Issues in Allen, Texas
Hard water is a significant issue in Allen and the surrounding North Texas area. High mineral content leads to calcium and magnesium buildup inside your pipes, which catches hair and soap scum more easily, resulting in stubborn clogs that retail cleaners simply can't dissolve.
The expansive clay soil common in Allen is known for shifting, especially during our hot, dry summers. This movement can cause underground sewer lines to belly or crack, leading to recurring backups that require professional inspection and heavy-duty cleaning to resolve.
In many of Allen’s more established neighborhoods, mature oak and elm trees add beauty but their root systems can be a nightmare for your plumbing. Tiny roots find their way into sewer line joints seeking moisture, eventually creating a dense block that stops all drainage from your home.
As a family-oriented community, Allen kitchens see a lot of action. Over time, FOG (Fats, Oils, and Grease) from home cooking solidify deep within your drain lines. In the North Texas climate, these deposits can harden like concrete, requiring professional hydro-jetting to fully clear the line without damaging the pipes.
Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for Allen, Texas
During the scorching Allen summer, the North Texas clay soil can shrink and pull away from your home's foundation. This movement can stress your pipes. Keeping your foundation moderately hydrated can help prevent the soil shifts that lead to sewer line misalignments.
In the fall, ensure your outdoor patio and pool deck drains are clear of fallen leaves and debris. Collin County's sudden autumn thunderstorms can cause flash flooding if these drains are blocked, potentially sending water back toward your home's foundation.
Before the first North Texas freeze in winter, disconnect all garden hoses and check that your outdoor spigots are insulated. While it's primarily a pipe-burst prevention tip, keeping these lines clear prevents ice from backing up into your interior drainage system.
Spring in Allen means heavy rains. It is the best time to have your main sewer line inspected for root intrusion. The spring growth spurt for trees means roots are actively seeking out the water in your sewer lines, and catching them early prevents a major backup during a spring downpour.
Average Drain Cleaning Costs in Allen, Texas
Standard drain cleaning in Allen typically ranges from $175 for a simple sink or tub clog to $525 for more intensive main line clearing or hydro-jetting. Costs vary based on the accessibility of the clean-out and the severity of the blockage.
Frequently Asked Questions about Drain Cleaning in Allen, Texas
How do you ensure a plumber is available in Allen right now?
We maintain a real-time network of 15 local plumbers. When you submit your request, we filter them by your specific Allen zip code and physically call them to confirm they have an open slot today before we connect them with you.
Is 24-hour drain cleaning available for Allen residents?
Yes. Our verification process includes checking for 24/7 emergency availability. We know that a basement flood or a main line backup in neighborhoods like Twin Creeks doesn't always happen during business hours.
Does the hard water in Allen affect how often I need my drains cleaned?
Absolutely. Allen's hard water contributes to scale buildup. We recommend a professional descaling or deep cleaning every 1-2 years to prevent the mineral deposits from causing permanent pipe damage.
Can your verified plumbers handle tree root issues common in older Allen neighborhoods?
Yes, we prioritize connecting you with pros who have the right equipment, such as heavy-duty augers or hydro-jetters, specifically designed to cut through the tough root systems found in older parts of town.
Do I have to pay extra for your availability verification service?
No, our service of scanning and calling local Allen plumbers to confirm their availability is designed to save you time and is part of our commitment to helping you find the right pro quickly.
