Top Rated Plumbers in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina
Ray's Mechanical PLUMBING & HVAC
231 Holy Mission Ln, Lillington, NC 27546, USA
(910) 808-5427Turned out a company digging underground had cut into our drain/sewer line more than a year ago. We spend $ for almost 1 year having plumbers unclog our sewer line. Ray's mechanical was smart enough to run a quality camera far enough to discover the breach in our line. We were going to continue to have problems until the real problem was identified and repaired. I give Ray's Mechanical A+ for doing more than a band-aid fix but identifying the underlying cause of our problem. These guys are sharp and hungry. You will get top quality work from them. Wes Cookman
1 week agoRay came out on Sunday for a non emergency plumbing job to fix a tub/shower faucet that came loose from the wall as well as to change out 4 faucet spout filters that were clogged. Very professional and did a great job. Will be calling on him again for further work we discussed. Would highly recommend.
3 months agoI had my water heater replaced by Rays Mechanical Plumbing & HVAC LLC and couldn’t be happier with the service! From start to finish, the process was smooth and professional. They showed up on time, explained everything clearly, and completed the installation quickly and neatly. The pricing was fair, and the quality of work was outstanding. My new water heater is working perfectly. I highly recommend Rays Mechanical for anyone needing plumbing or HVAC work done right the first time!
3 months agoARC Plumbing
2406 Waco Commercial Ct, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526, USA
(919) 888-3500The team with ARC Plumbing were easy to work with and did a good job at a reasonable price. I was able to establish contact very easily through Yelp's "Project Quote" system, without having to get on a phone call. They gave me a reasonable ballpark estimate on a kitchen sink drain rebuild and garbage disposal install. Then they sent out some guys to inspect and finalize the quote. Even got them to fit in additional plumbing tasks to the work quote, and it was still reasonably priced! We were able to schedule the work within 2 days of the quote being finalized, and the plumber they sent knocked it out in a couple of hours. And the plumbing work looks great! No leaks after a over week! I will gladly reach out to ARC Plumbing again in the future for any plumbing needs that I cannot handle myself.
3 months agoI hired ARC Plumbing for a full sewer line replacement (cleanout to city tap), and overall the experience was very positive and professional. The total cost was about $6,000, which was very fair and significantly lower than quotes from large national chains for comparable or better scope. From a technical standpoint, the team did an excellent job. They confirmed the diagnosis with a camera inspection, explained the issue clearly, and replaced the entire sewer lateral (about 50 ft) to establish proper slope. They even lowered the city connection to ensure a clean, continuous fall. The crew was large, efficient, and clearly experienced — at times there were 8+ people on site, and they worked a very long day to get everything done right. They handled unexpected issues well (sprinkler line and gas line in the trench), took care to test systems before closing things up, and explained what they were doing throughout the process. Even though landscaping was excluded from the contract, they went the extra mile and came back to rake, clean, and seed, which I really appreciated. One area for improvement: after the replacement, I expected a final camera inspection to verify the result. The on-site team initially told me this would be done, but later I had to debate this with someone else who was not initially involved. That discussion was uncomfortable, and in my view a post-repair camera check should be non-negotiable for a sewer replacement of this scale — it’s something the contractor should want to verify anyway. To ARC’s credit, they did perform the camera inspection and water tests in the end, and everything checked out. I ultimately gave 5 stars because of the overall quality of the work, value, and professionalism, but the camera debate nearly made this a 4-star review. With clearer internal alignment on post-installation verification, ARC would be outstanding across the board.
4 months agoWe've had ARC out to our house for several issues and they are always quick, professional, and informative! Today we had Clay, Chris, Noah, and Cam all working on our sewer line, and they did an amazing job! ARC will always be the first people we call with plumbing issues!
6 months agoT.C.R. Rooter & Plumbing
1076 Classic Rd, Apex, NC 27539, USA
(919) 467-2207TCR Plumbing came out this week to repair major sewer line blockage. Tree roots were blocking and destroying my sewer line. They came out promptly, camera’d my line to see the problem. Brett was outstanding by letting me know exactly what repairs needed to be done with quote of the repair. They replaced my broken line and installed a new accessible outside overflow. I was very happy with my service and a fair price. I will definitely be using TCR again! Kim M. Knightdale, NC
3 months agoBrett was an amazing guy. Very professional and was able to find the problem with my sewer very fast. Definitely will do business again with TCR Rooter.
7 months agoExcellent experience! Brett installed a water heater for us. The job went into the night. After they had confirmed the heater was working, they noticed the thermostat batteries in the apartment were dead. Brett bought batteries over-night and returned to the job early the next morning to make sure the thermostat and the water heater were communicating. Great work and follow through! Thank you.
4 months agoModern Plumbing and Backflow
313 Sherwee Dr, Raleigh, NC 27603, USA
(919) 341-1911I almost never write reviews for companies but as a former contractor, I feel the need to comment on the unprofessional manner in which my service was handled. Not only was the plumber unable to repair my clog he left my tub in a worse state than when he arrived, he disassembled my overflow assembly to work on the drain which he left completely disassembled. Not only did he not reassemble my tub when I went to check on the work after they left I found that they had scuffed my wall up and did not mention that to me. Overall the experience was horrible, one I would never wish upon any homeowner or renter please avoid this unprofessional establishment!
5 months agoOutstanding service from start to finish!! My techs Caleb & Chandler went above and beyond to make sure my water heater was covered by Duke Energy. We have the protection plan through them. Caleb was extremely through and explained everything to us. It is rare to find someone that will go the extra mile. Lets not forget the incredible office staff. Every time I have needed to call they are the sweetest ladies!! We are grateful! We will be customers for life!! UPDATE!!! Nate & Riko installed our beautiful new water heater today, 2/4. They called on the way installed and cleaned everything up like they were never there. Very nice and respectful young men!! Trust me when I say if you have a plumbing need call them!! See our before and after pictures :)
4 months agoWhat I liked about the service, the techs Nate and Chandler, did an assessment on December 26, on December 28, Modern Plumbing dispatcher called me to setup a time for December 29th to replace my water heater. The turn around was great. Due to the holidays I felt like the company had our best interest at heart. The tech walked me through how to use the shut off valves etc if need arise. They were professional also they cleaned up after the job was completed. That is why I gave them a five star rating. Modern Plumbing please Keep up the great customer service Sincerely one happy customer!

8 months agoWe have had the pleasure of working with Rooter and Sons on a couple of separate occasions, and they have exceeded our expectations every single time. From start to finish, their team demonstrated a high standard of professionalism and workmanship that is truly hard to come by. What stood out most was their extra due diligence — they didn’t just fix the problem at hand, they made sure everything was thoroughly checked and properly done before calling it a day. It’s clear they take real pride in their work. On top of that, their pricing is very fair and transparent — no surprises, no hidden fees, just honest work at honest rates. Johnny came out and examined the situation, provided detailed solutions and handled the job with fantastic professionalism. (919) 205-5922Michael and Tyler replaced a 30+ year old water softener with a bigger and better system. They tested my well water and recommended a UV light system. While they were doing the replacement, they noticed a small water leak on my main line coming in. A very helpful find and repair. They were very professional and pleasant to have do the work. I recommend them.

3 months agoStreamline Services Plumbing, HVAC & Electrical
131 N Fuquay Ave Ste 105, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526, USA
(984) 600-3032We had an issue with an outlet not working properly only to find out it was the electrical panel that was the issue. Our technician Zack was not only extremely knowledgeable he was also honest and took the time to thoroughly explain all of our options. The safest option was to patch the current wires that were the issue and replace the electrical panel. We had already been actively getting quotes for a whole house generator and Zack mentioned they install those as well. About an hour later I had two technicians arrive to provide an estimate for that. What I truly appreciated was that each technician was extremely knowledgeable and not in a “hurry”. They made sure to answer every question we had and there was no over sell of anything, just honesty of the issues at hand and the best, safest affordable resolution. We will be having the electrical panel replaced and new whole house generator installed next week. I also love that they offer a veterans package. My husband is a disabled veteran so they were able to offer a discount which helped the bottom line price tremendously. Ten out of ten highly recommend!
3 months agoThe work was fine but your pricing was ridiculous!!! To put this pipe back together was all that was necessary and was very accessible over a n 8’high garage ceiling. Could not have needed much in the way of materials. Charge was $541.00 !!! I will not be using you guys again!!!
3 weeks agoGot service set up next day. He did a great job today. Worked hard at figuring out the problem and fixing it. Nice guy. We are on family plan and things covered under warranty.

8 months agoThis company was a huge blessing! We had been dealing with a tankless water heater that would repeatedly error out and shutdown. We would reset it to bring it back temporarily. We dealt with this for several months along with other companies trying to fix it. Jack Vitale to the rescue! He came in and made a quick assessment and had my problem fixed in less than an hour! This is not hyperbole. Almost a year long issue fixed in no time! A quick turnaround too! I literally called at 10 and it was fixed at 1115. We are highly impressed! We definitely will be using them for all our plumbing needs going forward.
7 months agoProfessional Drain Cleaning in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina
Fuquay-Varina is a town that offers 'A Dash More,' but when your drains are backed up, you definitely don't want a dash more stress. As one of the fastest-growing communities in Wake County, finding a plumber who can actually show up today is becoming increasingly difficult. Between the historic charm of the downtown districts and the booming new subdivisions, local plumbing demand is at an all-time high.
Our service takes the guesswork out of home maintenance. Instead of you spending your afternoon calling a dozen different companies, we proactively scan our network of certified Fuquay-Varina plumbers. We filter them by your exact zip code and personally call to verify they have a technician available to solve your drain issue today. Whether you are near South Park or out toward Chalybeate Springs, we ensure your service request is met with a confirmed 'yes' before you even start the process.
Common Drain Issues in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina
Fuquay-Varina’s famous red clay soil is more than just a local trademark; it's a significant factor in plumbing health. This heavy, dense soil can shift during North Carolina's frequent rain cycles, causing underground sewer lines to belly or crack, which leads to recurring slow drains.
In the more established neighborhoods near the Fuquay Mineral Spring Park, massive oak and maple trees have roots that are decades old. These thirsty roots often seek out moisture in older clay or cast-iron pipes, infiltrating joints and causing stubborn blockages that a standard plunger simply can't clear.
Many newer developments in the area suffer from high mineral content in the local water supply. Over time, these minerals accumulate on the interior walls of your pipes, narrowing the passage and making it easier for hair, soap scum, and food waste to create a total stoppage.
With the rapid expansion of the town, we often see issues where construction debris or improper initial grading in newer neighborhoods leads to drainage problems. If your brand-new home is already experiencing backup issues, it’s often a sign of a deeper structural problem that requires professional camera inspection.
Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina
During the humid North Carolina summers, heavy afternoon thunderstorms can saturate the ground. Ensure your outdoor area drains are clear of pine needles and debris to prevent water from backing up into your crawlspace or basement.
In the fall, when the leaves drop across our wooded lots, be extra vigilant about keeping gutters and downspouts clear. When these clogs occur, they often force water back toward your foundation, which can pressure your perimeter drainage systems.
Before the first North Carolina frost hits in late November, disconnect all garden hoses and check your outdoor faucets. While our winters are generally mild, a sudden 'Blue Ridge' cold snap can cause standing water in pipes to freeze and crack, leading to messy leaks when things thaw out.
During the holidays, be mindful of what goes down the kitchen sink. Fuquay-Varina residents love their home cooking, but pouring turkey grease or fibrous vegetable peels down the disposal is the leading cause of emergency plumbing calls between Thanksgiving and New Year's.
Average Drain Cleaning Costs in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina
The cost for drain cleaning in Fuquay-Varina typically ranges based on the severity of the clog and the equipment required. A standard sink or toilet snake usually falls on the lower end, while main sewer line clearing or hydro-jetting services represent the higher end of the scale.
Frequently Asked Questions about Drain Cleaning in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina
How quickly can I get a plumber to my home in Fuquay-Varina?
Because we verify 24-hour availability and filter by your specific zip code before you call, we can often find a technician who can arrive on the same day, even during the busy North Carolina work week.
Do Fuquay-Varina plumbers offer hydro-jetting for stubborn roots?
Yes, many of our certified local plumbers specialize in hydro-jetting, which is highly effective for clearing out the aggressive tree roots common in the older, more wooded parts of town.
Is there an extra fee for emergency drain cleaning on weekends?
While we don't charge for our verification service, individual plumbers in Fuquay-Varina may have after-hours rates. We confirm their availability so you can discuss pricing directly before they head to your home.
Can you help with sewer line backups near the historic downtown?
Absolutely. Older homes in the downtown districts often have aging pipe materials. We prioritize finding plumbers who have the camera inspection equipment necessary to diagnose issues in these historic properties.
What if my zip code is just outside the Fuquay-Varina town limits?
Our system filters by zip code specifically to ensure that the plumber we find is licensed and willing to travel to your exact location, whether you're in the heart of town or in the surrounding rural areas.
