Expert Drain Cleaning in Kentwood, MI

We had Mountaineer replace our entire kitchen drain line 2.5 years ago. While initially we were satisfied with the service, we are now having to replace the line completely again due to the lack of fall/improper decline. It’s very disappointing considering it cost us several thousand dollars. Edited to add- after having multiple plumbers look at our issue we have learned that it wasn’t even done to code.

I found a cracked drain in my basement. Roto Rooter wanted to charge me $4,500. I called Mountaineer because they did a great job for me about a week prior with my water heater. They came out within about a couple hours of me calling. For much cheaper than Roto Rooter, they were able to fix the cracked drain (including jacking up concrete), fix some piping under my sink that was not up to code, AND give me a drain cleaning. It was all done same-day, except for the drain cleaning, which they did the following morning. I also had a home warranty company that was a bit of a pain to work with, but with their help I was able to get the max reimbursement under the warranty for cracked drains. Would recommend. My only complaint is that they didn't have a Mountaineer Plumbing magnet to stick on my fridge. They better get on that!! Photos of the new plumbing is attached. I called Mountaineer Plumbing to repair a pipe, and that resulted in my hiring them to REMOVE and REPLACE ALL the hot and cold supply lines in the basement of my duplex. I liked that Matt didn't charge me a 'mileage penalty' for coming to estimate the project. Matt is the owner of Mountaineer Plumbing, and he also worked as on-site project manager on this job. I have attached a picture of one of the supply lines from my 1924 duplex, and you can understand why I wanted to replace all the lines. My tenants were complaining about water pressure issues, and it was time for a capital improvement, an investment in my property. I'm very happy I called Mountaineer Plumbing. Matt brought the project in for the estimated price ... no jacking up the price or complaints. I can't stand when plumbing technicians start whining about problems they encounter on a job and how the original estimate didn't include any additional work. What can I say? Mountaineer Plumbing finished the job as scheduled, even mopping up the floors to leave the basement work area CLEANER when they arrived (I've attached a pic of the basement floor AFTER they cleaned it). The cost of the project was reasonable considering the amount of work involved, and now I am a happy landlord and two sets of happy tenants thanks to Matt and Mountaineer Plumbing. Highly recommend!

I needed a basement clog investigated and they had a tech in the area and could swing by. Justin texted a heads up he was on his way, was thorough in his work and explanation of what was going on. We talked through the fix options and costs associated, he was honest and transparent with pricing and options to complete the work. He had all the equipment needed on his truck and got us upgraded and fixed in less than 3 hours on the same day. He was kind, knowledgeable and clean/tidy which was very much appreciated. I received an emailed invoiced that matched our discussion and the office team was ready for payment when I called. All-Flo has unclogged our kitchen sink drain line a few times over the years. Always grateful for their quick and affordable service. I recently contacted Suzanne about replacing my low flow kitchen faucet and she put me in contact with Dan. He recommended several models and I then set a time for installation. Kevin removed and installed my new faucet quickly, which allowed me to save some $$$ from the quote. I am very impressed with All-Flo and the staff is great to work with. All-Flo is hands down the best plumbing company! They were able to do a large exterior French drain in my yard a few years ago and fixed all the water issues! Recently they came and replaced my sump pump. They are always timely, professional and very knowledgeable! Call them for all your plumbing needs-you won’t regret it!

I had them do a CIPP epoxy liner just over a year ago now, and I was very happy with the experience. It was a sudden and stubborn blockage, and another plumbing service had already tried twice and were recommending yard excavation (I don't have a cleanout). The SP estimate (Mike B) came out for a second opinion within a few hours of my call and explained how they could do a CIPP without the disruption. They were very thorough - I had two different drains and they mapped both and then cemented over the one that was vestigial. (My house is from '56.) They also rebuilt most of my basement stack with PVC (took out cast iron). They even added a pump to my utility sink to lift my laundry water up and out the stack rather than letting it drain into that old pipe where it probably just slowly absorbed back into the ground. My drain is about 100 feet with a right angle and they were able to get the CIPP installed without too much trouble. In all I had 4-8 plumbers in my house at any given point for three full days, and they didn't leave until everything was done at about 6 pm on Valentine's Day (Friday). Mike stayed on site the whole time and he and the lead plumber (Jordan, I believe) were very responsive and explained everything to me along the way. He also answered a followup text a few months later, on a Saturday, within an hour or two. They got me what I feel was a reasonable price, and found me 0% financing for 18 months. They quoted me up front before they knew everything else they might be doing like the second drain and rebuilding the stack, but didn't try to up the cost. I didn't totally like that the loan was basically opening a credit card with a bank, but so far the repayment process has been fine. I probably could have found a cheaper solution (from them or someone else), but there's a 20 yr warranty on the CIPP and I like not worrying about another blockage for at least that long.

We had our furnace replaced and also a central air system put in, and Service Professor did an excellent job. After we reviewed the cost of everything, they were able to come out the next day and did the whole job in about 5 hours. All of the different techs that were part of the install were very professional and showed us the different components of what they installed, and cleaned up everything so you wouldn’t even know they were there. Would definitely recommend!

We had the best experience with Service Professor last week - highly recommend! Our heat stopped working and with a quick call Nathan was at our home within 2 hours to work through diagnosis and repair. He was friendly, extremely thorough in explanation of what needed to be repaired, and was consistent with follow up until the necessary part was available to be installed in our Lennox HVAC system. He was so polite, knowledgeable and gained our family’s trust very quickly. He was clean, wore shoe covers, and super professional. Timing, very courteous and professional, they got done what the plumbing company beforehand couldn't complete, in half the time expect too and camera inspection with service., It gave me piece of mind it was done correctly. 4 star only because they left a fairly big mess i cleaned no harm done, but i wish that wouldn't have been a surprise,...Otherwise would definitely you again or have given a 5 star review.

Ian from Windmill Plumbing came out for two jobs. He installed a water filter under our sink and helped unclog a shower drain. He was extremely nice, efficient, and knowledgeable. This is my second time calling and using Windmill and my second time being very satisfied. Exception service, expert knowledge, fair pricing, and best response time. I was really fortunate to have found Bareman when I gave my daughter a new water heater for her new home. The service, price and quality of work was exceptional. Most recently, she had a clogged kitchen drain and was required to go through her home warranty; two plumbers and one week later they still could not solve the problem with water backing up in her kitchen. I called Bareman late on a Friday night, they arrived the very next morning, did not waste unnecessary time snaking the pipe after 30 minutes, used advanced technology to identify the clogged area, cut the PVC drain pipe at the source where they found a build up of concert from the previous owner. My water heater was starting to go bad. It was leaking. My cousin Jim works with this company. Within just a few days they replaced my traditional water heater with an on demand one. I love my new water heater! They were even able to move the on demand heater in a spot that gave me more space! Highly recommend!

After getting short notice of a potential power shutdown because of work that the electric company was doing we wanted to get a backup system for our sump pump out in. Bareman Plumbing was, quick to respond and got us on the calendar for install before we were scheduled to lose power. They have done other work for us as well and always have been timely, and you can always trust the job to be done correctly and professionally the first time.
