Mega Man Drain Cleaning
7207 Kessling St, Davison, MI 48423, USA
(810) 624-6593Shawn was my technician and I believe provided excellent service. He was at my home at the time promised, received my input regarding the issue, examined the drain, diagnosed the problem, explained it to me & fixed it. He was in & out in less than an hour. I appreciated that he wore shoe protectors as promised & protected the machine wheels 😊. No mess left in my home. I also found Shawn to be professional & polite with a great personality! I would certainly call this company again & recommend to family & friends.
3 weeks agoI had a clogged shower drain. I wanted to try a small local company, not use the big corporate companies that like to add unneeded services to add the bill up. I contacted Shaun and he asked what city are you in and said I will be there right after the current job he was at. Messaged me with an eta .Shaun showed up on time and diagnosed and solved the issue in under 30 min. along with a great tip, to prevent it from happening again. I have saved Shawn's number to utilize for any other plumbing issues in the future.
2 months agoShowed up within 15 minutes of calling. I thought it was a small clog. A+ work
4 weeks agoRoto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup
2215 Dort Hwy, Flint, MI 48507, USA
(810) 667-3889We are fortunate to have a main line that clogs on a weekend after a holiday almost every time there is a holiday. This time Roto-Rooter was the lucky one to call back first. Drew arrived promptly and took to the task of solving the clog. Since this issue has happened before, we were informed about six months ago there is likely repair we need to complete on the line from our house to the septic tank due to a potential crack in the bottom of the cast iron pipe. Drew did provide a quote for that. On top of the reported need when I called to schedule a service, I realized when Drew arrived there were 2 additional issues we should look at since he was here. With a scheduled appointment that was probably expected to last no more than an hour, a homeowner throws a few curveballs in and needs additional work to be done, Drew was extremely helpful and took care of everything we needed. The entire job took much longer than I am sure he expected (more than 6 hours) and he had to come back the next day to finish the job because a part was not available when he was here the first time. He cleaned up the work spaces and left everything in great order. I appreciate the work he did.
3 months agoOn December 9, 2025 at around 3:00 pm, my 17 year-old daughter was involved in an accident caused by a Roto Rooter vehicle when he pulled out in front of her, heading west on Indianwood Rd. in Lake Orion. To avoid hitting his vehicle, she swerved and hit a tree. He never even stopped and kept going! Many others witnessed the incident. Thankfully, she sustained minor injuries and walked away from the accident. Her vehicle was unfortunately totaled. I called the operations manager and left multiple messages on his voicemail and with other staff. To my shock and disappointment, he never had the decency to call me back! This could have gone much worse than it did and our family suffered a terrible loss due to the negligence and irresponsibility of this driver. It is sad and disheartening that John, the Operations Manager, could not be bothered to simply call back and gather more information or offer a sincere apology. I do not trust a company who does not prioritize the safety of their staff and other drivers on the road. I am disgusted by the actions of Roto Rooter and have spread the word.
2 months agoWorst experience ever. They don’t return calls or texts. Had to call dalton several times to get him to answer. He would say they would have somebody out and no one would show up. I’d call the office and they said there wasn’t even a ticket? This happened twice. Never a follow up. Took plumbers 3 trips to fix the leak. As for restoration Tried to get explanations on if they were even done. No response from him. Asked him if things were sent to insurance adjuster he told me yes it was all sent. Turns out nothing was sent over at the time. Asked if mold test was done no response. until the sent the bill weeks later, which doesn’t show any break down just says it’s sent to the insurance. This whole process was terrible there was 0 communication. Felt like he was dodging us and questions. Plumbing department blames restoration department and vice versa. I wouldn’t suggest using this company.
2 weeks agoDown and Dirty Sewer LLC
5856 Dana Lynn, Goodrich, MI 48438, USA
(734) 646-4151I had a catastrophic issue with my septic field and tank which another company failed to fix and I am beyond grateful for Down and Dirty with their knowledge, professional talent and pride in their services . Will recommend to family and friends 👍🏻
2 months agoWe had a blocked drain and called Down and Dirty Sewers. They were out within a couple of hours! Ray was absolutely incredible. He quickly identified the problem and took the time to explain everything along the way so we understood exactly what was happening. No surprises, no hidden anything, just ultra-transparent service. What really impressed us was that Ray didn't just fix the immediate issue. He also walked us through the best corrective actions to make sure it doesn't happen again. That kind of thoroughness and genuine care for the customer is hard to find. If you need sewer or drain work, don't hesitate to call these guys. An absolutely amazing company to work with. Highly recommend!
2 months agoRay and his team are incredible! Showed up to a last minute job that I needed done before selling. They were able to remedy the issues that came up during inspection quickly and at a fair price. Fast, friendly, and accommodating. Highly recommend!
2 months ago5-K Plumbing
16481 Charles Town Dr, Linden, MI 48451, USA
(586) 854-7774We had a sewage backup into our basement late on a Sunday night. The next morning around 7:30 a.m., I called 5 K Plumbing. My call was answered almost immediately — not sent to voicemail — which was already a great start. Even though they were on their way to another job, they came straight to our house to investigate and try to unclog our main drain. They explained the cost over the phone beforehand, and I agreed to it. Once on site, they spent about an hour attempting to clear the line. After that, they came upstairs and explained that they had gone as far as they could with the equipment they had. They didn’t just leave it at that — they gave us honest next steps, including calling another plumber with a longer snake and contacting the county since we live near a pump station. That advice turned out to be exactly right. The issue ended up being with the pump station and had nothing to do with our drain. What really stood out to me is that when they left, they didn’t charge us anything. Even after spending an hour at our home, he said that since they weren’t able to actually fix the issue, it didn’t feel right to bill us. Most plumbers would have charged a service call or more just for showing up. I will absolutely be calling 5 K Plumbing again for any future plumbing needs. It’s rare to find a business that operates with this level of honesty and integrity, especially when so many companies are focused on getting the most money out of customers. This experience really stood out.
1 month agoDaryl has done several jobs for us and always does top notch work. We appreciate his professionalism and fair pricing and would recommend him for any plumbing needs. He ran a new sewer lateral from inside to meet the line outside in Fall of 23' and recently came back to mark those lines for a deck project, working us in on short notice the day before the deck contractor was set to come. Much appreciated!
10 months agoI can’t say enough good things about this plumber and the service he provided. He came out on very short notice, which alone was a huge relief, but what really stood out was his professionalism from start to finish. He took the time to listen carefully as I explained the issue and everything I had already tried on my own, and he clearly understood the situation before jumping in. He explained exactly what he was doing and why, which I really appreciated—it showed both expertise and respect for the customer. He was well-prepared, had all the right tools, and was able to diagnose and fix the problem efficiently without wasting time. The work was done thoroughly and correctly, and the pricing was more than reasonable for the quality of service provided, especially given the short notice. No surprises, no pressure—just honest, skilled work. If you’re looking for a plumber who is knowledgeable, professional, communicative, and fair, I would highly recommend him without hesitation. I will absolutely be calling him again for any future plumbing needs.

(810) 233-4376Would give a no star if i could still waiting for them to come and snake my drain. My tubs and toilets are filling up with sewage. Horrible costumer service. Called to get an estimated time because its been over 4 hours since the first call. Then I was told they might be out tomorrow they are only doing commercial right now. IF I COULD I WOULD CALL SOMEONE ELSE BUT I AM A RENTER.
5 months agoJuston and his co-worker were amazing! Our pipes froze the past 2 days and they came out right away and helped us out. Amazing, fast, and very friendly, and past their work time! They let us know it was the heat tape failing and to contact our landlord about replacing it. Thank you guys so much! Would absolute recommend them!

2 weeks agoMichigan Sewer & Drain
6380 E Pierson Rd, Flint, MI 48506, USA
(810) 519-2005Great company! Had a problem with my drain . They showed up. Fixed the problem. The guys were very professional. Got the job done quickly. I would highly recommend this company.
8 months agoAfter calling their competitor 4 times over a 4 day period, with no call back, I desperately reached out to Zach at Michigan Sewer & Drain on a Friday afternoon at 5:00. Zach not only answered, but showed up 1 hour later to evaluate the problem, and scheduled me for Monday morning. I had a huge hole developing in my yard that was filled with water, 1 foot away from my basement wall. As it turned out, it was a bigger issue (sump pump drain had broken and separated 4' underground, right between my gas line and my electrical line coming in) They worked through the heat of the day, and the assault of the mosquitos that night, to dig up the line, partially by hand, and finished up after a torrential downpour the next day, fixing my issue. I would give them 7 or 8 stars if possible. Great company, and great guys.
1 year agoZach was amazing, we had a backup and weren't sure if it was our septic or sewer. He talked me through checking the septic and told me to call him with any questions. We were able to open our tank and sure enough it was full, had a company come and empty it then we still couldn't flush. He was here in less than an hour after I called to jet it!! Him and his associate went above and beyond to make sure all toilets and drains were functional. He also took a look at our outdoor drains and we will be having him back for some more jetting and excavation work! Super honest service and support
1 year agoBurt Mechanical
2503 S Linden Rd, Flint, MI 48532, USA
(989) 385-3352I had a great experience with Burt Mechanical! My water heater went out unexpectedly, and they were able to get someone out the very next day. Nathan arrived on time, was professional, and quickly diagnosed the issue. He had it repaired fast and made sure everything was working properly before he left. I really appreciated the prompt service and clear communication. Highly recommend Burt Mechanical if you’re looking for reliable and efficient service!
1 month agoWorking with Nate and his team has consistently been a great experience. Their expertise in all aspects of plumbing is top-notch, and we genuinely appreciate how much we learn from them with every project we collaborate on. What stands out most is their transparency and communication. They keep us informed every step of the way, which makes the process smooth and stress-free. Their pricing is fair, competitive, and reflective of the quality work they deliver. They’ve become our go-to plumbing team for all our projects, and we highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, skilled professionals.
9 months agoNate was very quick to respond to my inquiry about our hot water heater leaking and even communicate late on a Friday night. We were able to have our hot water tank replaced the next morning and Anthony did a great job. Price seemed very reasonable and very easy to complete payment process. Would recommend.

(810) 936-3810You can definitely count on Mike to get the job done. Very knowledgeable, detail, prompt, courteous and professional. I've used Mike on various occasions to fix my kitchen sink, garbage disposal issue and bathroom plumbing. I was very pleased each time. The cost to fix these issues were very affordable. No job to small, Mike will make every effort to come diagnose the problem and will not let you down. He always makes sure that when a job is complete, he explains what the issue was and what he did. If there are any issues or changes afterwards, he'll say, "give me a call". There are a lot of businesses in this profession you can't depend on to show up for you to get the job done, but with Mike at Affordable Plumbing, I know that I can. Thank you. I will be sharing your contact with my family and friends.
4 months agoI had a problem with my toilet — it wouldn’t flush and the water wasn’t filling. I called Mike, and even though my English isn’t very good, he understood me right away. He came, fixed everything quickly and professionally, and charged a fair price. The most important thing is that he is honest and trustworthy. He didn’t try to take advantage of me, and his work was excellent. I’m very grateful — a true professional you can rely on.

(810) 691-3287Not a person to be trusted !! He and his son double dipped (charged double) , didn’t provide receipt or invoice, took advantage of a handicapped person demanding cash payment !!! Then ran out of receipts never to return .. I’ve called and tried to get him to rectify to no avail.. beware !!!
1 week agoHad a pipe leaking water from the bathroom to the basement at 5am, it was a mess! Googled emergency plumbing services and found Ken. He came within a hour and fixed the issue. I’m so thankful he came out during a freeze storm.
1 month agoOvercharged $400 and only takes cash, no receipt, had to call another plumber to fix real problem and it only cost an additional $105. Ken and son were unprofessional and rude. I would never use them again they prey on emergencies and would recommend shopping around.

Dealing with a stubborn backup in the Vehicle City shouldn't be a secondary job for you. Whether you are living in a historic home near Mott Park or managing a property closer to Kettering University, local plumbing issues require immediate and professional attention. Flint's unique infrastructure often means that a simple clog can quickly escalate into a larger household emergency if not handled by someone familiar with the region's specific plumbing quirks. Our service takes the stress out of the search process. Instead of you spending hours calling down a list of names, we use our specialized network to find a certified professional in the Flint area who is actually available to work right now. We filter by your specific zip code and personally call the technicians to confirm they have the tools and the time to clear your drains today, ensuring you get the fastest possible relief without the typical runaround.
Common Drain Issues in Flint
Aging Infrastructure: Many of Flint's residential areas feature older clay or cast-iron sewer lines. Over the decades, these pipes can corrode, scale, or collapse, leading to frequent backups that require professional snaking or hydro-jetting.
Tree Root Intrusion: Flint is known for its beautiful, mature tree canopy, but those roots are a nightmare for underground plumbing. In neighborhoods like Woodside Village, thirsty roots often find their way into small cracks in sewer lines, creating massive blockages that common household chemicals can't touch.
Hard Water Buildup: The mineral content in Michigan water can lead to significant calcium and magnesium buildup inside your pipes. Over time, this restricts water flow and makes it easier for hair and grease to snag, causing repeated clogs in showers and kitchen sinks.
Basement Floor Drain Backups: With Flint's variable water table and heavy seasonal rains, basement floor drains are a common failure point. When these drains clog, it puts your entire basement at risk for water damage and sanitation issues.
Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for Flint
Winter Freeze Prevention: Before the harsh Michigan winter sets in, ensure all outdoor hoses are disconnected and interior shut-off valves are closed to prevent pressure backups that can stress your indoor drains.
Spring Thaw Inspection: As the snow melts in Genesee County, check your basement floor drains. High groundwater levels can put extra pressure on your drainage system, so ensuring they are clear of debris is vital for preventing spring flooding.
Fall Leaf Debris: Keep your exterior yard drains and gutter downspouts clear of Flint's heavy autumn leaf fall. Blocked exterior drainage often leads to water backing up into the foundation and interior drain lines.
Summer Storm Readiness: Heavy Midwestern thunderstorms can overwhelm older sewer systems. If you notice slow drains during a rainstorm, it’s a sign that your main line needs professional cleaning before the next big system hits.
Average Drain Cleaning Costs in Flint
The cost of drain cleaning in Flint typically depends on the severity of the blockage and the equipment required. A standard sink or tub snaking is on the lower end, while main sewer line clearing or hydro-jetting for tree roots will fall on the higher end of the spectrum.
