We had an absolute nightmare of a plumbing situation at The Lodge at Truitt Homestead, and these guys handled it with incredible expertise. We were dealing with a massive, incredibly stubborn clog that turned out to be a 15-foot run of solid grease packed tightly into a 2-inch drain line. It was a serious mess, but Caleb and Joel brought a wealth of knowledge to the job. They didn't just rush in; they took the time to properly assess the situation and methodically worked through all the necessary steps to finally break through the blockage. Their persistence, problem-solving skills, and hard work got a very bad situation completely under control. Emergency clog and leak in bathroom sinks (upper level) Memorial Day weekend no less. Immediate answer when I called, immediate service scheduled when no one else seemed to be available. Clay was personable and knowledgeable. Had everything fixed in a few hours and went above and beyond to make sure things were fixed and done right before he left. Called Hancock and Son to address an issue I had with my well pump bladder. I had a few other companies give an estimate and I thought I would be paying an extreme amount to have the tank replaced. I figured I would try one more place to make sure the prices I had received to complete the work were reasonable. Long story short, they came in at $1,500 cheaper than the others and the materials they were using were higher quality. One company wanted me to switch from my existing 36 gallon tank and go with a 20 gallon tank because that was the “standard” for a house. The technician that came out and completed the work, Jayson White, was very professional and thorough. I had no worries leaving him alone at my home while we had to run out for a birthday party. When I came home and checked the work it was done as if I were standing there watching him. I thank him for his integrity and professionalism. 10/10 would recommend them to anyone that is looking for a plumber.

We were in need of a new well pump. There were complications getting the old pump up and out of the well casing, (apparently someone had tried in the past and dropped rope down.) It all took more time than anticipated, more materials also, but the new pump was installed the same day. Alan honored the original estimate.
