UPDATE: The technician who diagnosed my clogged kitchen sink drain was incorrect in their assessment. Upon further reflection, it's silly to think the technician could properly diagnose the issue considering they didn't even turn on the water. What ended up being a vapor lock caused by a clogged drain vent (diagnosed and fixed personally) was originally diagnosed as either a clogged drain pipe or improper drain design because of too sharp a turn in the piping. The MINIMUM estimate to fix what was improperly diagnosed was about $800-900 just to snake the drain. Other estimates for unnecessary work reached upwards of $2,500. Needless to say, I will not be using The Plumbing Dr again. ORIGINAL POST: Very knowledgeable, and honest with their recommendations. I had an issue with my kitchen sink drain, and they assessed the issue, proposed solutions, and advised on potential alternatives. Not pushy in their sales either, which I appreciated.

This was my first experience with Drain Fighter. James responded to my Yelp request right away. He communicated clearly and with urgency over the phone and handled my job the same day, within a few hours on a Saturday. Other companies were not as fast to respond and were not as straightforward. When he arrived he was courteous and did the job effectively and quickly. I also appreciated that he gave me a fair price. I can see why his company has such great reviews. I just left my sisters house in DC where James did some work to repair a cracked expansion tank. The insurance adjuster had already been to the property, had the damage assessed by a professional and authorized my choice to use The Drain Fighter; James and another gentleman came to do the repairs. My sister has had 2 other assessments since the repair. Both assessed that the water heater was damaged in the process of repairing the expansion tank because it wasn’t damaged prior to the expansion tank repair as noted in the insurance assessment. I heard this from the new plumber myself!! It looks like tiny holes were drilled or something in the water heater but we couldn’t see them until the new plumber showed us!! To be honest after completing the $350 expansion tank job, my sister was informed by James that the job was completed he then said “but you need a water tank” he offered to install a water tank for $2,100 !!! But here is the issue the tank had no problems no damage before he installed a new expansion tank! Water is coming from the pipe from the hot water heater to the new expansion tank . So she had to turn the water off until it is fixed. My sister texted to complain we have copies of the text and have submitted a complaint to BBB, FTC and we are now on to a massive social media complaint with pictures!! This is horrible .

Mayco gets the job done. The best part is they are so quickly accessible by phone and follow up quickly! I had a water heater that needed replacement and they did it quickly and at a fair price. There were some follow ups that required touching up (extending the water drainage pipe) and they came out quickly and fixed things up. They also patiently explained to me the ins and outs of how the water heater functions which I really appreciated. True professionals and I would use them again.

Jason helped me replace bathroom fixtures for two bathrooms. He provided excellent and high quality service at a fair price.

I ordered a new washer and dryer but couldn’t have them installed because the existing shut-off valves were corroded. Pierre came out to assess the situation and provided several options with clear pricing. He arrived on time, was professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything in detail—what he was doing, the updated plumbing codes, why larger commercial companies often charge much more, and why emergency services are usually scheduled on weekends. By the time he left, I felt completely confident in the work and the service provided. Pierre installed new shut-off valves so the water to the entire home no longer needs to be turned off, and he properly secured the drainage pipe to the wall, including fixing issues hidden behind the drywall that hadn’t been secured by the previous homeowner. He was also able to install both my washer and dryer, and they are running perfectly. He even followed up the next day to make sure everything was working smoothly. Sorry it took me so long to write this review—but the service was absolutely worth it.

He quickly diagnosed an issue with the garbage disposal, clearly walked me through my options, and was very honest—after unjamming it, he did not push an unnecessary drain cleaning. He even sent a video confirming everything was fixed. Dion also investigated a suspected leak affecting the unit below, coordinated thoughtfully with all parties, and once he confirmed the issue was isolated to the lower unit, he promptly sourced materials and completed the repair. This company was great. My tech Patrick came in and knocked it out in less than 30 minutes. Professional, polite, and knowledgeable. It’s hard to find qualified, trustworthy, experienced people. I had a clog toilet for two days after searching for people to help everyone told me that my toilet may have to be removed. I went on the website to get another opinion because prices are to high. I called Catons plumbing and they sent someone out the same day. Demetric the service technician came within two hours of my phone call. He was very knowledgeable , respectful and able to fix the clog without having to remove the whole toilet. He accomplished the job in no time. I defiantly recommend this business….. exceptional job. We had an emergency pipe clog on Xmas night… total nightmare…. and Catons was the only company that was available (we called about 6 other places). They promised to be there within an hour and sure enough they were. Our plumber Henry Helwig provided amazing service as he methodically worked through the issue over about 3-4 hours. He was clear about the process, pivoted when necessary to be more efficient, and communicated everything well. He was also extremely clean and courteous while working in the house. I would definitely hire them again

I'm beyond pleased. The professionalism, expertise, and "bedside manor" of Jason was amazing. His trainee, Richard, was nice as well. They came on Thanksgiving day, and the value was better than I prepared myself for. They fixed my issue perfectly. I had my sewer line replaced about 4 months ago for nearly $18,000, and unfortunately the experience after the installation has been very disappointing. The cleanup was poorly done, the concrete work was subpar, and it caused my vinyl flooring (installed after)to no longer sit properly. I reached out two weeks ago through their messaging system and received no response. Additionally, my front yard continues to sink, which suggests the ground was not properly compacted after excavation. I now have to constantly re-compact the area myself. For the price paid, I expected far better workmanship and follow-up. Fixed my sewer problem thanks but left me with two other issues RESPONSE: I’m sorry but for $18,000 I don’t think it’s to much to ask to smooth out a small area of concrete just like how it was in the first place. Reverting back to saying “our contract says” is a pretty poor example of customer service.

This is the second time at our place with The Drain Guys, both times with Chris. Very knowledgeable and always professional. Both times he was there within 24 hours of us needing him and fixed broken pipes quickly on our old house. This last time he gave us invaluable tips to help avoid having similar problems in the future. Reasonable fees and yes, I would 100% recommend The Drain Guys!!

The Drain Guys is the best kept secret for pipe replacement. I went through two crummy plumbers who charged for camera work and didn't know what was going on with my drain. Called The Drain Guys and was glad I did. This team had master plumber Jay, along with his team, Parker and the rest of the crew to correctly solve the issue. The team provided insight on each part of the job, arrived promptly and even worked late. Job itself was extremely clean and was smart in terms of the geography of where my pipe needed to be. I now feel safe with a long term pipe in my property. I highly recommend this crew for your plumbing needs. Excavation can be a dirty job but these Michaelangelos made it look like a work of art.

Moco Plumbing did a fantastic job, we needed a few things done at the house, and they again showed why we'll ONLY use them. The drain pan for the washer was installed perfectly, and they set up the washer as well, it was so kind of them to do that, they truly didn't need to, but that's how kind and excellent they are. They did great work on all the tasks, and clearly are experts at what they do. Edgar and his team at MoCo Plumbing are the only plumbers we'll use!

Edgar and his partner were professional and Edgar explained every step of the process to me and answered questions I had. He came out and gave me a fair estimate which included all the work. Ran into a secondary issue which we needed WSSC for and he contacted them they came out and the problem was resolved. All work was at a reasonable cost compared to another quote I was given. They were prompt, efficient and cleaned up all of their materials. I have and would recommend them to other. All of the work is warrantied and already appreciate no more knocking pipes.

This company is absolutely wonderful. I was so surprised I could get service the next day, and the price was more than reasonable. Had a gas leak at the back of the stove. The gas company shut the gas off to the condo. Edgar arrived with his assistant and made the repairs so fast I couldn’t believe it. Both gentlemen were so nice and professional. Pipe burst... Other companies didn't have availability for at least 4 days due to the weather. Your1Plumber had the issue fixed in under about an hour once they arrive which was amazing since we didn't have water access. The gentlemen who did the work, Wilmer, explained everything well as far as the issue and repairs were concerned. Prompt. Polite. He made sure to let us know what to expect during and after repair. Oh! I was home alone during the visit and dude wasn't creepy... so, that was kinda great- felt safe. He was pretty patient with my dog, who goes kinda 'Cujo' when company comes, and that was pretty nice since Dog was on my last nerve trying to eat the plumber person again... when will she learn that we don't eat our friends? Not sure if the price was competitive since we never had this issue before- but according to my bff, chat, it was fair. Included 1 year warranty on work which was a bonus we didn't expect. 10 outta 10 would not want my pipe to break again during a winter snow, but I would call this company again if it did.

Best service ever. I called in the morning and by the afternoon I had a new 50 gallon electric water heater. The service was amazing! They cleaned the area after the repair then explain how to operate the system. I cannot tell you how happy I am with this service. Mario you are number one! It wasn't the cheapest estimate.
