P M Drain Cleaning
381 Chestnut St, Lawrence, MA 01841, USA
(978) 771-0290Pat was great. Came out same day and fixed my main drain clog. I would highly recommend P M drain cleaning. Thanks again Pat
7 months agoThis is the second time I've called Pat to unclog my main drain. He arrives quickly and gets right to work. His price is beyond reasonable and his work speaks for itself. I have even recommended him to family members. I will continue to call Pat for services. Thanks Pat!
3 years agoPatrick didn't give me the run around. He said he would show up in fa ew hours and he did, actually even earlier then expected and we needed the service asap, since our main Sewer line was clogged. He gave us a great price, didn't over charge us like those R guys and got things fix right. In no time we were back in business. I highly recommend him.
5 years agoMillTown Plumbing, Heating, Cooling and Electrical
131 Stedman St #6, Chelmsford, MA 01824, USA
(978) 547-4790UPDATE: I was blown away by how quickly this was handled. Fred, the owner, called me first thing the very next morning and couldn’t have been nicer super down to earth, easy to talk to, and truly understanding. He immediately sent out his senior plumber to take care of everything I wanted addressed, and the work was outstanding. Between Fred’s personal attention and the excellent quality of the work, this was an all around fantastic experience. I couldn’t be happier with how the tankless hot water system turned out. Highly recommend them, thank you Fred and team. We had our HVAC and tankless unit installed by MillTown in 2020 as part of a hydronic heating system. A month ago, the commercial‑grade tank they installed failed. Rheem covered the tank under warranty, but MillTown charged $5,800 for the replacement — which was essentially a retrofit with minimal changes. After reviewing the work, it was clear the job should have been closer to $3,000 based on industry standards and actual scope. Unfortunately, the workmanship was disappointing. The system was left in a condition that doesn’t reflect professional standards — including a drain valve positioned against another pipe, making it impossible to drain the system properly. I provided photos and a detailed email to MillTown expressing these concerns. Their response was that there “wasn’t much to do,” and they offered only a $500 credit toward a future service. Given the excessive pricing and the quality of work, a credit for a future service wasn’t a reasonable solution, and I declined it. Another concern: their website offers no way to contact the owner or any managers directly. For a company that presents itself as family‑run, that lack of transparency says a lot. Overall, the experience was frustrating — from the high cost to the poor workmanship to the dismissive response. Based on this, I cannot recommend MillTown for plumbing or HVAC services.pics show 2 of new tank and 1 of original can see drain valve on pipe !!
2 months agoOriginally called for blocked drain pipe to drywell. Took several visits to finally have them run a snake and camera. Determination was frozen pipe and they couldn't do anything about it - leaving me the customer to purchase hose to suck out standing water, blow warm air into pipe, add de-icer liquid and continue snaking the pipe on my own. Total cost was over $1800. The inside connection to the drain pipe was replaced with minimal materials. Overall, I was not satisfied with the result (drain still clogged) and the cost for work performed seems way out of proportion.
3 months agoJonathan and Justyn did a hot water heater replacement for us. They showed up on time, were very polite, and did excellent work. We have a slab foundation and our hot water tank is stuffed in the bathroom closet along with our furnace. They had to work in a very small space all day and even had to remove the toilet and closet doors in order to do the installation. Everything was put back cleaner and in better condition than before. They went above and beyond including reconfiguring the piping layout so that in the future, repairs/the next replacement will go even smoother. After installation, they cleaned up and left the space spotless. We are SO happy with the work that was done and the price we paid. We will definitely continue to use MillTown and would request Jonathan and Justyn in the future for any plumbing needs. Can't recommend MillTown enough!
6 months agoDrains By James Inc.
190 Main St STE 6, Wilmington, MA 01887, USA
(781) 734-7655Great experience with Drains by James for a frozen sewer line. The front office was helpful in getting an emergency repair setup for me. While the fix could not be completed on the emergency call as more specialized equipment was needed, they promptly returned to complete the job. "Say" and the rest of the crew were polite, professional and got the job done. Highly recommended.
3 months agoSo grateful for a big job well done! Same day response to our sewer main blockage. Expert technicians explained everything to us, and had some creative solutions to a tricky drain and root situation. Mario and Nelson went above and beyond to deliver on their promise to fix our problem. They did awesome cleanup afterwards, gave us a very fair price, and we highly recommend!!
1 year agoThank you to Nuno, Mark & Kyle for their exceptional service and professionalism. We returned home from our vacation only to find our sewer line frozen. After several calls to other companies we were directed us to Drains By James. Our call was immediately answered and they responded the same day and thawed out and cleaned the line along with a complete visual inspection of the entire sewer line from the house to the street. I highly recommend Drains By James for any sewer and drain cleaning.
3 months ago128 Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electric
80 Brick Kiln Rd, Chelmsford, MA 01824, USA
(978) 245-4128Technician “Craig” was great, was very informative regarding my heating system and radiators. He had no problem answering any of my questions with articulate details including showing me specific components of the furnace and bleeding of my radiators while also providing me with the do’s and don’t. This is the second time I called on 123 other than for my furnace (Clogged backed up pipping) and each time someone was dispatched to my residence in a shorter time than expected and resolved the issues.
3 months agoWe've had great experiences with 128 for HVAC maintence and now with replacing our hot water heater. Charlie came to our service call on a Sunday & was so friendly and explained our options thoroughly. The next day, Andy did an outstanding job replacing our hot water heater and bringing everything up to code. From start to finish, Andy and his team were professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough. They explained what needed to be done, made sure all the updates met current code requirements, and completed the work efficiently without cutting corners. The installation looks clean and well-organized, and everything is working perfectly. We appreciate the team at 128 for their customer service and expertise!
3 months agoCan't say how impressed I was with how quickly and efficiently Wayne and his crew came in to install a new mini split system for our house. This was an emergency replacement since our gas boiler (which feeds our steam radiators) cracked a week ago and required a complete replacement since the system was really old. It also required an electrical panel upgrade and water heater replacement. This is one of those instances where I feel like they couldn't of done anything better given the circumstances.

9 Story Ave, Beverly, MA 01915, USA
(978) 922-3274I don’t frequently review businesses but I was very impressed by the professionalism and workmanship of Steffan and his associate/manager who assisted in our out of the ordinary antique home drainage situation the day before Thanksgiving. Instead of throwing their hands up and saying they’ll come back later, they really took all means to assess the issue and brought in additional perspectives to help us during the same initial visit - I am so incredibly grateful they did such a good job today and fixed the very dire situation. Thank you!!!
6 months agoHighly recommend these guys! I was referred to them by a friend. I made a call late sunday night for a clogged drain and they were here the next afternoon. Very kind, professional and took care of the situation quickly. Also cleaned up after themselves like they were never here. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. 5 🌟

44 Cross St, Salem, NH 03079, USA
(833) 316-8145We had the team deep clean our entire house while we were away, and walking back in was the best feeling. The house looks absolutely amazing, every surface was spotless and you could truly tell how much care and attention went into the work. What really stood out were the thoughtful little touches. They folded the toilet paper, and even arranged our blankets into a heart for Valentine’s Day. It was such a sweet, unexpected surprise and completely above and beyond what I expected. The level of detail, professionalism, and pride in their work truly shows. We’re so impressed and will absolutely be using them again. Highly recommend!
3 months agoWe had a breaker for our Solar Hot Water system break and we were without water for 4 days! When I called Cornerstone they had someone at my house within an hour! The technician was very upfront and honest about the pricing, and he even had a Groupon discount that he deducted from the bill. I would highly recommend Cornerstone Services! Great work!
4 months agoArnold and Jorge were excellent! They were knowledgeable, professional and completed everything we asked them to in a few hours. Would use them again and would highly recommend Cornerstone services for any odd job around the house. We are very happy with the work they did.
3 months agoPlumr
8 Marblehead St B, North Andover, MA 01845, USA
(781) 606-5200They were great. After days of delays and cancellations with another plumber I called Plumbr and they got me in the same day. The work was done for $100 less than my quote from the other plumber and it was fast and professionally completed. When it was installed and I thought it was okay he felt the water flow should be stronger and took apart the connections to troubleshoot and got it flowing even better. Would highly recommend these guys.
5 months agoTrevor and Ulises were amazing! Thank you guys so much for helping us. Had the most absolute best fantastic time. They're friendly, nice and easy talking people. Full of absolute sunshine! They're organized and very considerate of any situation that could have come about and want to make sure the customer is satisfied 100%. The day before, I had gone online and searched for a plumber since I saw a leak coming through our kitchen sink. I found Plumbr and decided to go for their Free estimation session for the following day at 12pm-2pm. They were early and got straight into work. They noticed the garbage disposal was definitely busted and instead of swapping for an updated model (we had the Bader 1/3) they gave their recommendation with the Insinkerator 3/4 and we went with it. They provided the quote and we said we'd pay it. The price for the new disposal is a little bit more, but honestly if this will last us longer we thought that it was a nice trade-off. When it comes to their work it is top notch. They made sure it was a tight fit and any mess that was made was quickly cleaned up. They went the mile to make sure you have everything in order. If it doesn't fit they'll change it out. I couldnt have asked for more unbelievable individuals, especially Trevor who stayed a little bit longer to make sure no issues were arising and went over the warranty and what Plumbr as a company was like and offered. Thank you so much and cant wait to get help again from you guys if we have another issue arise. Note:I forgot to take a picture of the old disposal, but I've attached the new one and it looks very nice.
6 months agoWords cannot express how highly I would recommend Nick and Justin and the entire team at Plumr. Firstly - they do incredible work. I had a burst pipe and broken boiler in the middle of a massive snow storm. The guys worked for over 24 hours late into the evening in the freezing cold to get me back up and running. They never gave up despite me telling them to go home. They were efficient, thoughtful, and diligent. No corners were cut and no stone was unturned. These guys are awesome. Secondly - they are incredibly kind and trustworthy. I felt completely comfortable having them in my home, giving them the codes to access what they needed, and leaving them at the house when I had to go out. These are good people who do good quality business and work. Lastly - they are very well priced. They do good high quality work and it’s priced fairly and on par with the market. They want what’s best for the client and will give you options that best meet your need and price range. These guys are on my roster for forever and I would refer them to anyone who was asking. 10/10!!

(781) 568-9075I am so impressed and extremely happy with my today’s experience with Super Service Today. I had a broken sewer pipe which is under the foundation and needs to be replaced. Roy came in and did the evaluation and proposed options for me in a very professional manner. He is very knowledgeable, kind and professional. He gives me expert advice with different case scenarios, and made very reasonable recommendations on the solutions based on my specific needs. I would also specifically thank the actual working team, including Tito, Rogelio, Jaden and Jose. This team is just super. I cannot say enough good things about thier work, experience and professionalism. After the work is done, they vacuumed my carpet in the basement and cleaned the working area outside of my house in a fantastic situation. I was so impressed and really appreciated their every effort. Absolutely 5 stars and I would highly recommend this company and this awesome team.

(978) 429-5576I had a great experience with Dees Plumbing and Heating. Charles came out to help with an issue where one of our heating zones wasn’t warming properly, and he was excellent from start to finish. He was quick, professional, clean, and very knowledgeable, and he explained what was going on in a way that made everything easy to understand. The pricing felt fair and honest, and best of all, he got everything working again just in time for a big winter storm. I’m really grateful for how smooth the whole process was. I highly recommend Dees Plumbing and Heating, and especially Charles!

3 months agoProfessional Drain Cleaning in Haverhill, Massachusetts
Haverhill’s unique blend of historic mill buildings along the Merrimack River and newer residential developments in Bradford requires a specialized approach to plumbing. When a kitchen sink backups or a basement floor drain overflows, you don’t have time to spend an hour on the phone playing tag with contractors. That is where we come in.
Our service revolutionizes how Haverhill residents find help. Instead of giving you a list of numbers to call, we actively scan our local network of certified plumbers. We filter them by your specific Haverhill zip code and—most importantly—we call them ourselves to verify they have a technician available to handle your specific drain cleaning needs today. We do the legwork so you can get back to enjoying your day at Winnekenni Park or shopping downtown.
Common Drain Issues in Haverhill, Massachusetts
Historic Pipe Deterioration: Many of the beautiful older homes in Haverhill still feature original cast iron or even clay sewer lines. Over time, these materials scale, corrode, and crack, leading to frequent backups that require more than just a simple plunge.
Merrimack Valley Tree Root Intrusion: The mature trees that line our residential streets provide great shade, but their root systems are drawn to the moisture in your sewer lines. We frequently see Haverhill sewer backups caused by stubborn root systems that have compromised the main line.
Fats, Oils, and Grease (FOG): In the densely populated areas and apartment complexes near Washington Street, kitchen drains often suffer from 'FOG' buildup. This grease hardens inside the cold pipes of our North Shore climate, creating stubborn clogs that usually require professional hydro-jetting.
Basement Flooding and Sump Drains: With Haverhill's proximity to the river and various brooks, many homes rely heavily on basement floor drains and sump pumps. During heavy New England rains, if these drains are clogged with sediment or debris, it can lead to immediate and costly water damage.
Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for Haverhill, Massachusetts
Winter Freeze Prevention: Before the first Haverhill frost, ensure all outdoor spigots are disconnected and basement floor drains are clear. Frozen pipes can lead to cracks that only become apparent when they thaw, causing major drainage issues in the spring.
Fall Leaf Debris: As the leaves fall in the Merrimack Valley, ensure your outdoor area drains and gutter downspouts are clear. Debris that enters your drainage system now can cause a total blockage once it mixes with winter slush.
Spring Thaw Check: When the snow melts and the Merrimack River rises, check your basement floor drains. Pour a gallon of water down them to ensure the trap is sealed and the line is flowing freely before the heavy spring rains arrive.
Summer Disposal Care: With summer cookouts in full swing, avoid putting fibrous vegetables like corn husks or celery down your garbage disposal. These are leading causes of kitchen clogs during the Haverhill summer season.
Average Drain Cleaning Costs in Haverhill, Massachusetts
The cost of drain cleaning in Haverhill typically depends on the severity of the clog and the equipment required. A simple snake service for a bathroom sink is on the lower end, while main sewer line clearing or hydro-jetting historic pipes falls on the higher end.
