Expert Drain Cleaning in Springfield, Massachusetts

We needed an inspection of a sewer pipe and they immediately found the problem. They made the repair in a timely matter. Scott was very helpful and kept me updated through out the entire process. Very pleased with their professional service.

Came back from Vacation to the Main sewer Stack blocked. Called Steve Ray Plumbing and they were able to fit us in. Crew was out and had the whole issue fixed within 2 hours. Really Appreciate the professionalism and clean work. Price was very fair and inline with what I expected.

The young men that dig up my back yard to improve our drainage issues were very polite, hard working, and appeared to be very knowledgeable about their work. They did the proper work before they broke ground which provided some confidence in this big project. I chose this company because of the care they said they would take to come back and level and replace the grass after dirt settled. It is too soon to see if that grass responds to our TLC, but the crew that returned to do that work also helped grade the ground away from the house. They checked in with me throughout the process. They had no problem with responding to my direction at any time. Very honest people to work with.

It was a sunny beautiful February Friday. Our main drain in our utility room backed up not once, but twice leaving us with standing water by end of business day. From first phone call getting scheduled, to our knowledgeable, honest, and professional tech coming to our home, assessing the situation and handling the issue we give all stars. Communication is excellent AND we got the camera scope included with cost with a detailed report of what caused the back up. The price is more than fair for the quick service, equipment being used, services included while being after hours… we were taken care of without breaking the bank. We will be utilizing this company for any plumbing issues in the future. Thank you and thank you to tech Anthony for being an all-star. Well done.

When sewage backed up into the house Roto Rooter came right away. The gentleman was able to get everything to drain and explained that we were ok for now but there was still something blocking the pipe somewhere. It was determined where the issue was and they returned to remove tree roots from the pipe. They thought they would have to dig up the front yard to do it. They showed up with a back hoe and before digging they wanted to try to unclog it without digging. They worked for quite a while in the crawl space and were actually able to unclog it and replaced the section of pipe that needed replaced. All without digging. The service was great and I give them more than 5 stars for their work. However, after submitting an insurance claim we have been unsuccessful at getting roto rooter to give us or the insurance company the info requested by our insurance. There have been numerous calls to them and we are told someone will call back and it never happens. I give them 0 stars for this. They did great work and were paid when the work was completed. It seems that once they were paid they no longer care. As a company you would think they would want repeat customers. This is definitely not the way to do that..

The weather is frigid and the PEX water pipe is frozen in the conditioned attic. The washing machine indicates there is no water supply. Outdoor is 0 degree. Bob is the drainage specialist and he is very friendly. He explained the options. Matt is the pipe specialist and he did a good job cutting the dry wall and thaw the pipe. It happened Friday night and they came in Saturday morning to resolve my issue. I appreciate so much.

Previous to buying our house, Mike Williams installed a new PVC sewer line to the road. 5 years later, tree roots have gotten through one of their joints 8 feet underground (had it scoped by another company) and caused a sewage backup in our finished basement. This is a result of their shotty work, and there is no warranty at this point. Never should have happened. The previous owner paid them just under $10k, and it’s going to cost me another $10k to have a reputable company come in, dig up my yard, and fix their mistake. This is not to mention removing the basement carpet amongst other repairs. Unbelievable. Avoid this company if at all possible. Update: After having a reputable company come in, it turns out that Mike Williams actually left about a 10 foot section of clay pipe in the waste line. What I believed was a mistake when it was scoped by the original company, turns out to be negligence. I looked at the scope, and both the technician and myself could not believe they had done this. The clay pipe is collapsing, and the technician stated that it was inevitable to happen with the way Mike Williams left it. Truly despicable company.

Had an emergency where my wedding ring fell down the shower drain and we were visiting from out of state. The response i received from this company was amazing. They understood that we had a relative gravely ill and time was of the essence. They were able to get us taken care of immediately. The technician Layke was AMAZING AND very knowledgeable. He was extremely cautious and optimistic and very thorough. Great news is we found the ring!!!! TY so much for great work and service. I would highly recommend this company!!

I had to have 2 plumbers come at 2 different times to deal with a problem toilet. The 2nd time, I wasn’t charged because it was a re-call from the first visit. Now everything is good and I have a toilet that doesn’t leak all over my bathroom floor anymore! Both gentlemen were so kind, helpful, honest and thorough. I recommend Mike Williams Plumbing 100%!!!! You should totally use Roto-Rooter, especially Stephen! He was super helpful and worked hard to fix our sewer line, toilet, sink, and even the garbage disposal recently. He showed us what he did and talked about it. We really trust him and think you should too.

I’ve had roto rooter do a few different projects for us now. We got a partial sewer fix, burst pipe repair, dishwasher install, and will continue to go through them. They are professional and know what they are doing. They communicate issues they see happening, and have fair pricing. Plumbers are expensive and they have fair pricing for their services. For our sewer we got multiple quotes and roto rooter was communicative and fair throughout the process! Unlike other plumbing companies we got quotes from.

Excellent experience, very satisfied! We had an urgent situation with main sewer line blocked and backing up into the house. They were here within a couple of hours, texted me a picture of the person who was coming out. Very friendly and took care of us quickly for a fair price. Highly recommend!

Mixed emotions about my experience... i thought price waa high but they did show up within a few hours of calling. While jetting the technician made it to my toilet and busted the sides out of my toilet, pieces of my toilet flew everywhere. This the second time my toilet was damage when Roto Rooter jetted my line, first time was a few years ago on which the toilet cracked. Both times they replaced the toilet at no charge which is expected and the lines are always clear after the jetting. I plan on using another company with hopefully more experienced plumbers, $462 seems like a price on which they would use a scope with the jet to prevent reaching toilets and causing additional damaging. The technician also barely cleaned after he was done, and said you'll need to sweep up a bit while walking out the door. Little pieces of porcelain was left for me to clean.

Traveion was courteous and knowledgeable. Both men did their best to not track snow and dirt through the house. They identified the issue quickly and were able to install a new pump while there. Traveion answered my questions easily. I was surprised by the cost but it was reasonable. Just more than I expected because I thought it was a different problem originally. Would use them again!

Andrew fixed our furnace less than 24 hours after it went out in sub-zero temperatures. Our furnace was only 4.5 years old, and it turned out the wiring was done incorrectly by the company that installed it. We discussed the fact that there might have been more damage done, but he was able to figure out the heating elements were still intact before agreeing to having the work done. He let us know about the service club, which will save us money down the road. He was polite and professional, and we would recommend them if asked.

Schuyler was out today to do our furnace check up! He is a very nice young man. Everything went well and he changed our humidifier filter which I was suprised he had on his truck. Great service and was on time!

This team really came to the rescue! We had a burst in our main service line, that we didnt realize till the bill came sadly. I messaged them in the evening, and heard back first thing the next morning. After reviewing the problem they gave me a quote, worked with me on the financing, and came out very quickly after. We had a sewage ejector pump crap out on us and flooded our basement. HRI responded promptly and Angel came out and did the work. We were so thankful!
