Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup
129 Airport Rd Ste 1, Hyannis, MA 02601, USA
(508) 771-1020Amazing service! Ryan was wonderful to work with. He was very professional and appeared on time after I called the day earlier seeking service. He helped install a new sink disposal and got rid of a clog in the toilet and helped tighten some tubes that were having a small leak in my HVAC. I am very happy with the work and appreciate his punctuality and help immensely. Couldn’t recommend him more.
3 months agoExcellent Service! I’m extremely satisfied with the service. The drain was cleaned thoroughly and is now working perfectly. Everything was done quickly, professionally, and with great attention to detail. They were punctual, respectful, and explained the process clearly. I truly appreciate the quality of work and would highly recommend this service to anyone needing reliable drain cleaning. Thank you for a job well done!
3 months agoI was extremely pleased with the service I received from Jaiden. He went above and beyond by speaking with the septic system company to explain the situation to help us find a solution. 3 months agoReady Rooter Inc
17 Jan Sebastian Dr #16, Sandwich, MA 02563, USA
(508) 888-6055Today we had to call to have the septic tank emptied. My mother-in-law was not sure who she used previously or when it was last done. Called Ready Rooter spoke to the most pleasant & helpful woman and they came out within 2 hours our call! The technician Tim was professional, polite, explained everything and also advised my husband what to do for maintenance/preventative. Definitely will keep their information for any/all plumbing needs. Would HIGHLY recommend this company and the technician Tim
1 year agoI had a sewer line blockage at a toilet that hadn’t been used in 20+ years. Hank found the blockage with a camera and determined the pipe would have to be replaced. It was cracked and more than 60 years old. Due to its location - behind a fence and under a patio, it had to be dug up by hand. Hank and Will worked diligently on some very hot, humid days, digging and replacing piping inside and outside the house. All told, the work was completed in 4 days.
10 months agoI do not write a lot of reviews, but I wanted to share my experience. I came home Monday to a bit of a "funky smell" and figured with all the rain, I should call to have our septic system serviced. I called another local company first and was met with a bit of an attitude (sighs and huffs almost like it was a chore to speak with me). The woman I spoke with advised they could see me in 2 weeks (understandable as I am sure they are busy) and that it would be extra for them to verify where the septic tank was located. She said that I should call around to find another company. I am glad she suggested this as I called Ready-Rooter, I was lucky enough to speak with David. He was so nice and when I explained that I was nervous our system needed to be serviced sooner rather than later, he checked their schedule. Initially he thought it would be next week, but after another minute he said that he would be able to have someone here today (Thursday) between 2-4. I explained that we have only lived here a short time and that I was not sure where the septic tank was located - he said no problem, they would confirm... no extra charge. Fast forward to today, Angelo arrived at 2:30... he promptly found the tank, serviced it and explained where the tank is, what size, etc. He was very nice! I am very impressed with their customer service and would recommend this company!
6 years agoScioletti Plumbing and Heating
429 Elliott Rd, Centerville, MA 02632, USA
(774) 810-0292Matt did a great job adding a pressure relief valve to my main line and reconfigured my system to allow for a second meter for the sprinkler system.
6 months agoMatt is the best! Easy to reach, responsive, and gets the job done quickly at a fair price. We've worked with him for years and he does not disappoint. Quality work.
6 months agoScioletti plumbing is extremely detailed and competent. They not only repaired and replaced the heating system but also scheduled all work around my work schedule. They are very thorough and knowledgeable and cleaned up everything after installation and repairs. I recommend their expertise and for the first time, peace of mind that they absolutely know what they are doing. Their price is extremely fair and reasonable. Very friendly people as well!!
6 months agoMurphy's Air Conditioning, Heating & Plumbing
34 Whites Path, South Yarmouth, MA 02664, USA
(508) 760-1660Nick Harrington and his assistant Jose did an excellent job of replacing our hot water tank. They were very careful and respectful of our home and it was clear that they take pride in their work. The final installation is a piece of art!
4 months agoMax in addition to the entire office team did an exceptional job. When I called during this difficult power outage time the office promptly answered the phones and scheduled me in quickly. Max arrived on time, addressed the issue, made some suggestions on how we can be more protected from the unexpected freeze in the future. As a long term customer of Murphy’s it’s nice to know they will stick by me during the tough times. Thank you to BOTH the office and service teams!. Highly recommend.
3 months agoMurphys is amazing! They have always come the day of the call and make it pleasant experience. Additionally they are reasonable and don’t try to “sell” anything extra. My technician Austin was upbeat, honest and finished within twenty minutes. He also did not complain about the entire yard and bulkhead being covered in ice. Will never use another company! Thank you! Candace Jenkins
4 months agoBraga Bros Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning & Electrical
110 Breeds Hill Rd unit 5, Hyannis, MA 02601, USA
(508) 827-1069On a scale of 1 to 5 I would give Alex. Always cheerful and smiling, he was patient and knowledgeable. While resolving one problem, he encountered a second defective part on our gas furnace. Like a TV detective he patiently worked on it until he found the problem part. I was extremely impressed with Alex and would recommend Braga Brothers on the quality of their service technicians.
3 months agoBraga Brothers was great!!! Highly recommend them. Their office staff answered the phone promptly and were able to answer our questions pretty quickly and accommodate our schedule. It was very nice that the morning of their appointment they texted a little bio of the master plumber Bill who was coming along with a tracker so we knew where he was en-route. Bill took care of identifying and fixing the leak from our toilet flange - which a handyman had incorrectly 'fixed'; replaced that toilet with a new one (that we provided), replaced a vanity faucet, and replaced a very leaky outdoor spigot - that required torching and welding of the pipe to the spigot. He did this all in 3 hours which I was very impressed with. Bill was very pleasant and clean and left everything neat. Considering that many plumbers don't even return calls these days, it was an amazing pleasure to deal with Braga Brothers. And, they are also giving a senior discount on the dispatch fee!
7 months agoBraga Brothers was golden. They provided great service. Provided immediate assistance. Awesome customer service working with us to set up our thermostat, check our HVAC, and overall great technician.
3 months agoGEM Plumbing & Heating
222 Mid-Tech Dr, West Yarmouth, MA 02673, USA
(401) 859-4876Everything was professionally handled by Gem and especially Nelson, who repaired the boiler. He came a corrected an issue that was caused by a different, well known Cape Cod business. I highly recommend their services!
5 months agoGEM Plumbing and Heating was amazing, professional and on time; they explained every step to my husband and I. We are beyond pleased with our new central AC and furnace. We would highly recommend GEM to anyone looking for high quality work at a reasonable price. Rainey was exceptional answering all my questions.
4 months agoWhen quality does not matter these are your guys. From leaving leaving exposed wires, uncovered switch plates, refrigerant pipes routed over my duct work crushing it, Dangling 120v power lines, Water over flow kill switches not hooked up(designed to keep my house from flooding), leaving AC trash in my attic and actually attempted to hide it. they left tools, new parts. My favorite is the sheet metal screw in the switch plate where the 7/32 screw should be, real scary stuff. If you don't mind a house fire or having a home inspector cost you thousands to get this up to code when you go to sell, call Rusty's.. They even hooked up the finished product incorrectly, leaving my two stage fan wired for a single stage so the unit was not cooling my home properly.. And for an ongoing problem they threw the old AC unit and pieces of the air handler into my gravel driveway where I'm now finding sheet metal screws. Who's paying for my flats? So Glad I went in my attic to shut off the light and fan they left running and close the access panel they left open otherwise this probably would have gone unnoticed for a while or until the first hot spell when my AC did not keep up or this botched install burned my home to the ground. No wonder they got bought out by another company. Find comfort in the fact that the Rusty's management team quit to start their own HVAC. 9/15 Update. On their 5th trip to my home to " clean up" loose ends I had 2 technicians and 2 electricians in my attic for 4 hours redoing the wiring and fixing the last list of issues when they discovered discovered a 4 inch gap between the new Air handler and the existing ductwork. The proper way to fix this is by fabricating sheet metal for fill the gap, screwing it together and sealing it with metal tape. The original installer wrapped it in duct tape. The few screws he put in never made contact with the duct, just the tape holding it together and keeping the cold air from gushing into my Attic. What do you figure the life expectancy of duct tape is. They also in working up there pushed my ceiling vent 2 inches down into my living room where it's now dangling.. 9/18 - Update. the project Manager from GEM, the new parent company who Purchased Rusty's and was suppose to call on Friday to confirm the work performed never called! No small surprise here with the work these companies are doing. *** Four (4) days I've had to take off from work and counting. 9/27 The Flat tires have started after the GEM / Rusti's crew threw the air handler and refrigeration components off my deck onto my gravel driveway. Who's paying for my tires? (see Pics) 9/29 GEM is threating submit me to collections.

5 years agoDave the Plumber
577 Main St, Dennis Port, MA 02639, USA
(508) 398-3283Dave’s awesome! Super friendly and easy to talk to. He was really easy to reach and got me scheduled fast. Showed up on time, figured out the problem right away, and had it fixed in no time. You can tell he knows his stuff. Plus, he’s honest — no upselling or nonsense, just good work at a fair price. I’d definitely call him again!
7 months agoCalled Dave and he answered right away - had an emergency plumbing issue and he told me he would be with me before the end of the day. An hour later he texted he was on his way. Communication was excellent and he and his son fixed the issue and took the extra time to explain to us what they were doing and went above and beyond. Great service and will definitely call Dave again!
8 months ago100% recommend Dave!!! I called him at night as the basement had a significant amount of water pouring from above the expansion tank. He Facetimed me (as he was in Home Depot) and walked me through how to shut it off. He and his son arrived first thing the next morning and repaired the issue. He explained every step to us and provided wonderful advice. He was professional, knowledgeable and honest!! Five star!!!!
7 months agoE.F. Winslow Home Services
947 MA-6A, Yarmouth Port, MA 02675, USA
(508) 466-5471If I could give negative stats I would..winslow put in a new furnace and standby generator for my 88 year old Aunt in November...blizzard hits and she is left without heat and power because they installed it incorrectly. Called repeatedly them for 3 days before they decided to return our call...only to be told they were also out of power and might be able to get someone to the house in 3 more days. Don't they have a generator?!! Finally had to find someone else to fix the problem so the pipes in my Aunt's did not freeze!!! Very very unprofessional and unreliable and certainly did a terrible job on the installation. Would NEVER recommend these people!!! This historic storm and blizzard is exactly why she paid serious money to have a new generator and furnace installed only 4 months ago! And it failed the first test!!!
3 months agoWinslow installed our generator 5 years ago. The first time we needed it it failed. They fixed it then. We had it serviced regularly, the last 2 weeks ago and it failed again when we needed it most during the blizzard. I know they are inundated with calls but we have no info on when they will get here to get it going. No idea how long it will be for Eversource to restore power and really wishing they would make contact to get an eta to fix what we now consider an expensive brick actually working. We are in a very cold home with our pets
3 months agoI have never experienced worse customer service than with E.F. Winslow. My elderly mother, a loyal customer for over 10 years, called at 8 AM on Monday because her heat had stopped working — in 35-degree weather, and just two weeks after she had it serviced by E.F. Winslow. She was told that maybe someone could come Thursday, but if not, perhaps Friday, or even the following Monday or Tuesday. That’s how they “schedule” emergency service? I called four separate times, pleading with them to prioritize her situation given that she’s elderly, has animals in the house, and no heat — but got absolutely nowhere. The lack of compassion and urgency was shocking. Thankfully, I called GEM, who had a technician at her house within 90 minutes and fixed the problem. That’s what real customer service looks like. After this experience, we will never use E.F. Winslow again, and I strongly urge anyone on Cape Cod to switch to GEM. You won’t regret it.
6 months agoDurfee Plumbing & Heating
22 Diamonds Path UNIT 7, South Dennis, MA 02660, USA
(774) 352-3078About 5 years ago Durfee helped me when I needed a total bathroom replacement. They did a fantastic job and they were very responsive and easy to communicate with. A couple of years ago, I needed my water heater replaced and I reached out a couple of times. Only got automated responses when I call and never heard back. I called Durfee yesterday to have air bled out of my pipes. Got an automated person answer the phone but was able to have the robot set up an appt for me today between 8 and 12pm. 12pm today, after calling the office 3 times leaving a message with the robot and 2 on the voicemail, emailing them at the office as instructed to do so by the voicemail message. NOTHING!! No text other than an automated one that said "thanks for calling we will reach out to you soon". I changed 2 appointments this morning to the afternoon. Finally showed up at 1pm and they called me saying "we are here", like I did something wrong! You need to communicate way better with customers. You are a "family-owned" business, maybe treat your customers like they are like family. DO BETTER DURFEE PLUMBING AND HEATING!
6 months agoThe plumber for people with more money than brains? Don’t understand the positive reviews this company is getting…1/4 turn valve leaked and needed to be replaced. It was easy to access and a straightforward job. Quoted priced was $815! I paid the $149 “dispatch fee” and passed on the repair. Another company was on-site for less than 45 minutes and replaced the valve without any issues for about 1/3 the price—without any dispatch fee. Buyer beware!
5 months agoI have been waiting since June 27 for my estimate after paying $500. About a month ago, the owner replied to my review and said that they would call me. I still have not received any phone call. Frustrated!
7 months agoProfessional Drain Cleaning in Barnstable Town, Massachusetts
Living in Barnstable Town means enjoying the unique coastal beauty of Cape Cod, but it also means dealing with specific plumbing challenges that come with seaside living. Whether you are located in the bustling hub of Hyannis, the historic village of Barnstable, or the residential stretches of Marstons Mills, a clogged drain is more than a nuisance—it's a disruption to your coastal lifestyle. Our mission is to eliminate the frustration of calling plumber after plumber only to find they are booked through the weekend.
We provide a specialized service for Barnstable residents that goes beyond a simple directory. Our system scans a curated network of certified Massachusetts plumbers, filtering them instantly by your exact zip code. Most importantly, we personally verify their current schedule and 24-hour availability. We ensure they have the tools and the time to handle your specific drain emergency today, saving you the time and headache of endless searching during a plumbing crisis.
Common Drain Issues in Barnstable Town, Massachusetts
Coastal Sand and Silt Infiltration: Given our proximity to the Atlantic and Cape Cod Bay, sand frequently finds its way into Barnstable residential drainage systems. Over time, this heavy sediment settles in the traps and bends of your pipes, creating stubborn blockages that standard plunger techniques simply cannot budge.
Aging Pipe Infrastructure: Many homes in Barnstable Town, particularly in the historic village centers, feature older plumbing systems. These vintage pipes are prone to scale buildup and structural degradation, requiring a delicate but professional touch to clear clogs without causing further damage to the lines.
Septic System Stress: Because many areas of Barnstable rely on private septic systems rather than municipal sewers, a slow drain can often be a symptom of a larger septic issue. Our verified pros understand the nuances of Barnstable’s soil and the specific requirements of maintaining healthy drainage for Cape Cod septic owners.
Seasonal Demand and Tourism Surges: During the peak summer months, the population in Barnstable Town swells. This puts immense pressure on local plumbing systems and makes finding an available plumber nearly impossible. Our service is designed to cut through this seasonal noise to find you a pro who is actually ready to work.
Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for Barnstable Town, Massachusetts
Prepare for the Winter Freeze: Before the Cape Cod temperatures drop, ensure all exterior hoses are disconnected and outdoor drains are clear of debris. Frozen standing water in a clogged exterior drain can lead to pipe bursts that affect your interior plumbing.
Spring Storm Drain Clearing: After the winter storms, sand and salt often clog the perimeter drains around your Barnstable home. Check your basement floor drains and area drains to ensure they are clear of sediment before the spring rains arrive.
Summer Hospitality Maintenance: With more guests visiting the Cape in July and August, your kitchen drains work overtime. Avoid putting fibrous vegetables or grease down the disposal, as the increased volume can lead to a mid-vacation backup.
Autumn Leaf Management: The beautiful foliage in Barnstable can be a nightmare for yard drains and gutters. Ensure leaves are cleared away from any ground-level drainage grates to prevent basement flooding during heavy fall nor'easters.
Average Drain Cleaning Costs in Barnstable Town, Massachusetts
Pricing for drain cleaning in Barnstable Town varies based on the severity of the blockage, the equipment required (such as hydro-jetting or camera inspections), and whether the service is requested during standard hours or as an emergency 24/7 call.
