Top Rated Plumbers in McDonough, Georgia
Stockbridge Plumbing & Drain Pro
5534 N Henry Blvd #401, Stockbridge, GA 30281, USA
(770) 430-3598Due of a persistently clogged drain pipe, I contacted Stockbridge Plumbing (Our washer had a knack for backing up into the kitchen sink whenever it discharged.) Twice before, I had a different plumber snake the drain, but each time, the issue would resurface just six or eight months later. If you want the main drainpipe cleaned thoroughly, Stockbridge Plumbing recommends a "Jetting" service. The technicians showed there when they said they would, were polite, and got the job done quickly and efficiently. In addition, they made sure the work area was always clean and safe. The wastewater from the washer is now being discharged in a smooth and silent manner. They also offered me some advice on how to maintain a clean tub P trap when they were here. I strongly suggest them for any plumbing work you may need, and I will be sure to retain their business card in my file.
2 years agoI needed water pipe repair and Stockbridge Plumbing was excellent. The technician also handled my water softener installation, leaving everything in great shape. I’m impressed with their expertise and professionalism!
1 year agoThe tankless water heater setup we got from Stockbridge Plumbing is working perfectly. The tech was knowledgeable and made sure we understood how to use it. Great service all around easy to recommend.
1 year agoTK & Sons Plumbing and Septic
1370 GA-212, Conyers, GA 30094, USA
(770) 301-2970I hate to write this review because our experience started off very positively. Before choosing this company, we did extensive research to ensure we were making the right decision for servicing our septic system. First, I want to acknowledge Dylan, the owner's son. Throughout the process, he maintained consistent communication, was thorough in explaining everything, and gave us no reason for concern. Up until payment time, we were very satisfied with the service. Unfortunately, things took a turn when it came time to settle the bill. My wife and I were in Atlanta celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary, which prevented us from returning immediately to the Conyers/Covington area. Dylan informed us that the company would provide a discount on our $1,145 invoice if we paid in cash and left a review by the end of the day. I agreed to those terms, but because we were celebrating a significant milestone, I asked whether he or someone from the office could meet us in Atlanta or at least somewhere halfway to facilitate the cash payment. Dylan declined and made no effort to accommodate the request. He stated that we were not the only people with plans and that they were busy as well. As a result, the only option for receiving the discount was to return to the Conyers/Covington area in person to make the cash payment, which was not practical given our circumstances. Ultimately, we paid the full $1,145 for the septic service. While I appreciate the quality of the work performed and Dylan's communication throughout the service process, I am disappointed with how the payment situation was handled and the lack of flexibility shown in resolving it.
2 weeks agoI knew it was time to have my Septic tank pumped and I was dreading it. I have always had bad experiences with Septic & plumbing companies. They all tell you the same thing and charge extra for everything. TK & Sons was different! Dylan showed up on time, was very friendly and explained how my septic tank and all its parts worked. They charged me the price we agreed on over the phone which was the first time that has ever happened. Knowing how it works and what they were doing and what they found was such a relief. This is my plumbing company going forward. It is a great feeling being able to trust someone for once. Call them if you are in a bind.
3 months agoTim was very responsive and kept us informed while he pulled together a crew for an emergency after-hours septic issue. They were quick, professional, knowledgeable and informative. I really appreciate the fact that they literally take crap all day and still showed up to take more after having dinner and family time interrupted. 10/10 recommend.
1 month agoDelta Plumbing The Educated Plumber
85 Daniel Dr, Stockbridge, GA 30281, USA
(770) 474-5555I highly recommend Delta The Educated Plumber! They were professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to thoroughly explain the entire process to me. I appreciated that they provided multiple options and worked with me to find a solution that fit my budget instead of trying to upsell unnecessary services. What impressed me most was that they went the extra mile and even helped unclog my bathtub while they were here, saving me the cost of calling a separate plumber. The service was honest, efficient, and customer-focused from start to finish. I will definitely be using them again in the future. Lesson learned—I won’t wait another 10 years between septic services and end up costing myself more money! Thank you for the excellent service!
2 weeks agoExcellent experience the group that came out was very professional, knowledgeable and efficient completing the work. Truly a 5 star crew, the reason I can’t mark a 5 is because I now have to get my irrigation system repaired because the lines were too close to the septic opening and was damaged in the process. Not the crews fault because of the sprinkler line placement but it’s costing more money to have a sprinkler specialist come out to repair.
3 weeks agoThey did a great job given the circumstances of the location of my septic tank. I was very pleased with the tech Kyle and the helper (I didn't get his name)☹️.. They explained everything throughly, told me what parts were needed and why and basically broke down the way a septic system operates. They were extremely careful while digging with the excavator as to not cause damage to the property and they even gently dug up a rose bush that was in the way so I could try to replant it!! They went out of their way to make sure they got my flower bed as close as they could to the original state..Great experience will definitely call them back in the future!! Thanks Kyle (and all who helped) yall did a great job!!
1 month agoMonster Plumbing and Rooter Service llc
205 Reeves Rd, Jackson, GA 30233, USA
(404) 353-3775I had a leak in my main line and Kane came right out the same day. It was a bit of a pain to fix and he didn’t leave until it was done then it split back open again and he was right back the next day and fixed it right up. He’s a very nice man and did a great job. Highly recommended. My neighbors used him too, and they recommended him to me. Lisa clyne, Monticello.
2 weeks agoArrived on time was very personable. Diagnosed my drain filter problem and took care of it in a timely fashion. Will use again if needed.
5 months agoKane came out and quoted me on a gas line repair. He came the next day and completed the repair. His price was fair, and the workspace was clean when he finished. I highly recommend him for any repairs.
3 months agoNo Pressure Plumbing
43 Pine Grove Rd Unit 43, Locust Grove, GA 30248, USA
(770) 369-0163I am a very happy customer. I called yesterday because my sewer pump went out in the basement. I called and spoke with William Butler he answered right away came out looked at the problem . He came back the next day and it took him a less than 30 minutes to get the job done. Very courteous and very professional. I would definitely recommend this come They get 5 stars…
6 months agoI used this plumber before on a small job. And that was fine. Well he totally installed my gas hot water heater wrong. Not only did he install plastic on a gas hot water heater. He also installed a broken part and reused parts from the old hot water heater. He only told me after I called with questions after another licensed plumber informed me that it was installed wrong and not up to code. Why would you install a broken part without informing the customer? He had no intentions of replacing what was broken. Or letting me know. It’s nice to support small businesses when they are licensed and honest. Please check with the state for his license. I was able to get half my money back. We are still upset about the and my pursue legal action. That’s the only way to stop unlicensed people. Pictures show broken expansion tank he installed with those blue fisher price pipes. Why would you replace copper pipes with plastic? The white one is the correct installation with a new expansion tank. They can reply back stating they didn’t work at my house and I will post the invoices.
2 months agoHad a plumbing issue on the upper floor; called the company & talked to Will; he was super responsive and came out to fix my issue even on a holiday. Fixed my issue in a timely fashion. The price was super reasonable; I would recommend this plumbing company for anyone that needs a plumbing job. Super professional! Thank you again!
1 month agoProXpress Plumbing Atlanta & Drain Cleaning
458 85th Cir #101, Atlanta, GA 30349, USA
(470) 300-4122I noticed a bad smell and slow drains in the house and Atlanta Plumbing came for a sewer repair. The tech found a broken section in the line and repaired it quickly. He was professional and made sure the job site was spotless before leaving.
1 year agoThe service tech did fixed the toilet; however, he wouldn’t give us a warranty on the part he replaced because he said the water pressure was too high. We didn’t have him come to check the water pressure; we wanted him to repair the toilet. Then he wanted to change out the Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) for $700. He wanted additional signatures to say that his service was great. I normally don’t write negativity about anyone or anything but his character and his ethics caused me to give him a 2-star.
5 months agoAmazing work on bathroom plumbing during our renovation. Everything was installed properly and tested well. No issues at all after completion.
2 months agoHigh Priority Plumbing and Services, Inc. - Conyers
1070 Culpepper Dr SW #300, Conyers, GA 30094, USA
(770) 790-5810Dustin R. from High Priority Plumbing in Crestviw, Florida was absolutely amazing. I paid a premium price with another company through my home warranty for a brand-new water heater. The first company installed it improperly and left me with a leak. To make matters worse, they refused to make it right and the home warranty company was no help at all. High Priority Plumbing stepped in and truly saved the day. They worked with me and provided a fair price for a proper new install. Dustin and the team were incredibly conscientious — he even repositioned items that were difficult for me to reach (shut-off valve and drain pan facing the rear) and placed them conveniently in front. That level of thoughtfulness did not go unnoticed. I was also able to get an appointment within 24 hours, which was a huge relief. Their safety procedures were superb — I received a photo of the technician ahead of arrival so I knew exactly who to expect at my door. I was utterly dismayed and stressed when I first called, but Dustin’s professionalism and superior service completely changed my outlook. I am so grateful for the care and attention I received during a very stressful situation. I Highly recommend High Priority Plumbing!
3 months agoPaid them $1200 to do a drain clean out, remove and replace 2 toilets and replace 2 faucets. The first technician came out and was to send an estimate. The office and us never got the estimate. New technician came out a week later and then left us like this. He did not schedule a call back to return on Friday as promised to finish what he was paid to do. The company is blaming US for not calling to schedule the unfinished work their technician left undone. Now they say they cannot get us on the schedule until next week. There is no accountability or "high priorty" except to run to the bank and cash that check.
2 months agoHigh Priority Plumbing was by far one of the worst service experiences I have ever had. Their communication was extremely poor from start to finish, and there was a serious lack of professionalism and accountability. The technician who came out appeared to lack the proper knowledge to handle the issue correctly and ended up damaging my water heater, which caused flooding through my ceiling. As a result of the flooding, I also experienced damage to my ceiling and lifting in my kitchen floors, creating even more issues in my home. What made the situation worse was that instead of taking responsibility, the technician stated that he was ordering a part to fix the issue, but never followed through and no repair was made. There was no proper update, no accountability, and no urgency despite the damage caused. I would never recommend this company to anyone. If I could give zero 0️⃣ stars, I absolutely would. Horrible experience overall. ⚠️
3 months agoMcDonough Plumbing & Septic
50 Kelly Rd Ste 20, McDonough, GA 30253, USA
(470) 264-0160Water pooled under my washing machine during every cycle. The technician tightened a loose hose and checked the plumbing lines. I’m grateful for the detailed and careful work.
7 months agoI can’t say enough about their professionalism. Our toilet started making strange noises and I called them for help. They adjusted the internal valve and ensured the tank worked perfectly. The noise disappeared and they left everything neat and clean. Very dependable team.
3 months agoDuring a bathroom remodel, minor plumbing issues were fixed quickly. Pipes adjusted, fixtures tested and flow checked. Everything works perfectly.
7 months agoMcDonough Plumbing and Drain
103 Jonesboro Rd #160, McDonough, GA 30253, USA
(678) 470-4384When I eventually moved out, I rented my house. On the Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend, I received a call from my tenant informing me that the water heater was leaking. Using tradespeople I haven't dealt with before always makes me nervous, and this experience was no exception. It was truly my only option. My tenant shouldn't have to live without hot water. In any case, I'm happy that I gave dependable plumbing a call. Ricky responded quickly, arriving at the house and working within an hour. They did an excellent job of explaining the situation, outlining my options, and offering advice. My tenants confirmed that they were delighted with their services when questioned. Without a doubt, I'll use them again.
2 years agoWe heard dripping inside the wall. The water pipe repair from McDonough Plumbing was quick, clean and came with helpful tips to avoid future issues.
10 months agoWhat a great father-son partnership! Congratulations to Aurello and McDonough Plumbing! What more could you want for? Professional, polite, on-time, personable, and knowledgeable/experienced! They winterized pipes, cleaned up the work area, replaced the water pressure decreasing valve, gave me a clear explanation of what they were going to accomplish, showed me the finished product, and guaranteed their labor for thirty days. Extremely happy with their craftsmanship. Would use again; plumbers are now my first choice! Aurello/McDonough Plumbing, thank you!
2 years agoPlumb-All
218 N McDonough St, Jonesboro, GA 30236, USA
(770) 914-3877We had some major problems with our drain line. Ryan and his crew explained what the problem was and how they would take care of it. They replaced most of the drain line, cutting through our slab and all the way through the yard. Despite the amount of work, they were done on the shorter end of the projected timeline, and they took care to clean and cover everything as well as they could. The work was thorough and the price was fair. I would definitely recommend using Plumb-All.
2 months agoI highly recommend Plumb-All due to their excellent customer service, exceptional on the job service, quality technicians, affordable pricing, and their near immediate response time! After talking to a customer service rep at Plumb-All for a service request, I received a same day call back, probably within 30-40 minutes, from Tre, an expert technician who was able to discuss the matter in more detail and schedule an appointment to come to my home within 48 hours of me calling! Not only did I get an appointment quickly, he was also able to come on a weekend which is HUGE given my work schedule. Tre was extremely professional and diagnosed the issue at the house very quickly, like within 15 minutes! He was very courteous and explained the process in an easy to understand manner.
5 months agoQuick response, good prices, and great communication. They fixed our pipes and cleared water from the crawlspace fast and did a great job. Definitely would use them again and will recommend to anyone with plumbing issues

Common Drain Issues in McDonough, Georgia
Tree Root Intrusion: McDonough is known for its beautiful canopy of oaks and pines, but these thirsty roots often find their way into older sewer lines. This is a common cause of recurring backups in established neighborhoods where roots seek out the moisture in your pipes.
Hard Water and Mineral Buildup: The local Georgia soil and water composition can lead to a slow accumulation of scale within your pipes. Over time, this narrows the diameter of your drains, leading to sluggish drainage and frequent clogs that standard plungers can't fix.
Kitchen Grease and Southern Cooking: With home-cooked meals being a staple of life in McDonough, many kitchen drains fall victim to Fats, Oils, and Grease (FOG). These substances solidify inside the pipes, creating stubborn blockages that require professional high-pressure cleaning.
Heavy Rain Debris: Our intense Georgia thunderstorms can wash silt, clay, and yard debris into outdoor drainage systems. If your perimeter drains or basement floor drains aren't clear, you risk localized flooding during the next big downpour.
Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for McDonough, Georgia
Spring Cleaning: After the heavy spring rains in Henry County, check your outdoor area drains and gutters. Ensure that silt and Georgia red clay haven't washed into your drainage system, which can cause basement backups.
Summer Usage: With kids home for summer break and more frequent laundry cycles, your plumbing system works overtime. Be extra mindful of what goes down the garbage disposal during those backyard BBQ cleanups—avoid corn husks and grease.
Fall Preparation: As the leaves begin to fall around the McDonough square, keep your exterior drain grates clear. Debris can quickly clog storm drains, leading to water pooling near your home's foundation during autumn storms.
Winter Protection: While McDonough winters are generally mild, we do see freezing temperatures. Ensure that any slow-moving drains are cleared before the first frost, as stagnant water in a clogged pipe is more likely to freeze and cause a burst.
Average Drain Cleaning Costs in McDonough, Georgia
Standard drain snaking in McDonough typically ranges from $165 to $325. More complex issues requiring hydro-jetting or camera inspections for main sewer lines can range from $400 to $850 depending on the severity of the blockage.
