I would like to say Ms. Sasha the owner of Roseman Plumbing is the Bomb. I had a plumbing/septic issue going on in my residence and it was swiftly taken care of. The price for the issue according to my wife was a bit pricey but the overall completion was very exceptional. I would also like to give a shoutout to Eric one of Roseman Plumbing technicians. I feel Eric went above and beyond with handling my issue. Eric was very respectful and professional when he was listening to my wife’s concerns and questions. Eric made me feel at ease and also educated me about the world of plumbing. Thank you Ms. Sasha!!!

My kitchen sink was clogged on both sides and there was standing water that was beginning to stink! I tried to unclog it myself, but that didn't go over too well. I called Roseman Plumbing and was able to have a technician come out that morning. At first, they thought they were going to need to use the "snake" on it but ended up just using the plunger. Saved me some money! I appreciate the thoughtfulness & professionalism from Tommy and Will. A few hours later, Kaitlyn called me to ask if I was satisfied with my service that I received. I certainly was! Thanks again!

Our family has used All American Plumbing for decades. They are prompt, professional and affordable. Misti, the office manager, efficiently books and follow up with all tasks. Shannon, the owner is concerned for his customers and will take the time to explain what the actual plumbing situation is and the options to correct them. Over the years they have reworked the old plumbing for our house renovation. At my rentals, toilet repair, drain cleaning, and water heater installation. A family owned business that treats you like family! (In a good way!) :) Jean Ryan

Mysti, the office manager, is incredibly responsive, organized, and a pleasure to work with—she keeps everything running smoothly and communicates clearly every step of the way. My new favorite people! (And pretty darn good plumbers, too). We've used different plumbers over the years, but when we needed someone, it was usually due to an emergency and didn't have the luxury to be picky. I hired a self-declared "handyman" a couple times, but we never genuinely liked anyone well enough to intentionally ask them to return. Last month, when we began putting in a half-bath ourselves, I decided to see what the folks in my Social Media circles had to say about plumbers. There are always opinions there. When I asked for favorite plumbers, I got maybe 20, 25 replies, and I couldn't help but notice that All American Plumbing was suggested SEVEN of those 20-something times. These were my people commenting, too, so I trusted them and called. I'll save all the details, but we FiNaLlY have a plumber that I will undoubtedly be using next time too. Shannon is the main dude and he is no self-proclaimed Handyman, he's a legit, professional plumber, with an excellent team behind him that made the process easy and feel casual, no stress. I like no stress. I even liked the lady who answered the phone. We had a couple hiccups due to the city, not them, but they rolled with it, came back when they said they would, did a phenomenal job, and weren't weird. (It can be weird having people in your house sometimes, but they weren't.) I seriously can't say enough good things about them. If I did, this already long review would easily turn into a novel. I am not someone who leaves reviews often, not at all. The only time I do is when something is exceptional (exceptionally good OR bad.) These are not just good plumbers, they're exceptionally good people. If you stop reading reviews and just call them, trust, you'll have a favorite too. You're welcome. ;-)

Could not be more pleased with Roto Rooter and Wesley.. I had another service come two weeks before charge me twice the price and didn't clear the drain. Wesley was great! Fair price and clearly showed me the problem with a camera and verified it was clear! I highly recommend Roto Rooter and Wesley.

Yet again Roto Rooter came to the rescue for our household. After previous excellent work (thank you Wesley) getting our house on track (excellent mitigation work)after an unexpected flooding they came out late night to fix our toilets . As usual the Roto rooter rep (thank you Tim) was professional, knowledgeable and reassuring. And despite the hour the work was done very much to our satisfaction. Yet again they did not disappoint.

Wesley arrived on time, and was personable and friendly. He assessed the problem and described it fully and did the repair quickly. He treated our home as he would his own home and left things better than he found them. He will be my first call if we have any further plumbing problems.

This is my third time using Royal Flush Plumbing in the last five years…they perform quality work at competitive prices, and Troy delivered fantastic service today (a SUNDAY) when I had a plumbing emergency that easily could have cost thousands. Troy clearly explained what was going on, and what steps (and costs) might be needed to fix the problem. Here is where Royal Flush earns my trust EVERY TIME…they fixed my drainage problem on the first try, with the least expensive option!! They could have taken me for a ride by doing unnecessary work, and I never would have known, but HONEST, EXPERIENCED plumbers like TROY keep me coming back to Royal Flush because I know the job will be priced fairly and DONE RIGHT! Thank-you, Royal Flush Plumbing!!!

We had a water line burst inside our kitchen wall. The tech that came out was able to quickly assess, get us a quote, and was able to repair with minimal demolition which was much appreciated. We were really surprised at the affordability of the repair, and both the tech and the office were all super friendly. Would definitely recommend giving them a call if you need work done.

I have used After Hours Plumbing LLC for several jobs now including new hot water heater, kitchen sink p trap replaced, supply line under the bathroom sink, main water line leak fixed, main pressure valve under house replaced cause city put to much pressure and caused the main line to burst, shower head leak and p trap for the shower, both toilets flanges replaced. And when my parents needed someone to fix their well pump I gave them their number and they fixed it. These guys know what they are doing and are really nice. Clete has been so good for us. I don't have to worry about my wife being along with them while I have to work. God Bless After Hours Plumbing LLC. Thanks, Marcus Mann

We have used After Hours in the past and have always gotten fantastic service, although I should note that my husband usually does the easy plumbing jobs. My husband is currently remodeling our bathrooms. In an attempt to be a sweet, loving wife, I suggested he call After Hours when he discovered that the shut off valve (pretty sure that is what he called it) to one of the toilets needed to be replaced. And, here is where I made my big mistake, I told him to have After Hours install our 2 new faucets (including 2 new p traps) in the sinks in the 2 baths as well. He kept saying that he could do, but I insisted because the tile job hasn't been fun. We noticed one sink was leaking at the p trap that night. I told him to call After Hours back but he said it was was easier to fix it himself. Then last weekend, I discovered the one in my kids' bathroom had been leaking a good bit (thankfully, I had put all my painting supplies in there including a very absorbant dropcloth). At that point, even though my husband could fix it, I insisted he call After Hours because we paid over $700 for this service. The next day, the original plumber returned, said he tightened the seal, and, less than 5 minute in our house, left. Within 5 minutes, we saw it was still leaking. The owner came two days later and insisted it was our brand new faucet and replaced it with another new one that I have. Guess what?!? He leaves and the p trap is STILL LEAKING!! I am not a plumber - heck, I am not even handy - and even I can tell where the leak is. I cannot for the life of me figure out why After Hours will not admit that they bought very cheap, crappy p traps, but they will not. So my trying to be a good wife has backfired. And my husband gets to keep pointing out that he would have done it right the first time for a lot less than $700. Edit: It was the p traps that were leaking. Changing out the p traps wouldn't have stopped the leak if it was a faulty faucet. Additionally, you changed the faucet, and we still had a leak. Thus far, I haven't asked for a refund, but I am about to do. Mistakes happened. It is how you handle it that matters.

I can’t say enough praise about the services I received from After Hours Plumbing. Clete replaced my water heater and rebuilt 2 of my toilets for a very reasonable price. Not only did he do a great job at a great price, he went above and beyond by explaining to me how my systems worked and what to do in case anything were to happen. If I need plumbing services again, this is the business I’m calling. Thank you AHP, you guys are the best!

Had an unusual & complex septic issue that was challenging to diagnose & resolve. Kelsey Davis & team were superb in technical & communication skills, acting as communication lead w/county & recommending other needed contractors. I would not have gotten through this complex problem without Kelsey as project lead. I’ve used Advanced for 10 years, but I can’t fully express how grateful I am & how much respect I have for Kelsey after this recent challenge. Previously they did smaller jobs like toilet replacement & service was just as excellent, but I highly recommend for larger projects as well.

I called late in the afternoon when water wouldn't drain anywhere in our house. James was incredibly helpful, as he has been in the past, troubleshooting over the phone and offering a few tricks to try. He assured me that if those didn’t work, he would come out that same day to fix the issue, going above and beyond to ensure it would be taken care of that evening. Thankfully, his advice worked, and the problem was resolved without needing a service call. When I asked how I could pay him for his time, he kindly said his advice was free and to just call him next time we needed service. James was so friendly, professional, and dedicated to making sure our issue was fixed quickly. I couldn’t be more impressed with the level of customer service. Definitely calling him again for any future plumbing needs!

I perform construction management for a local school system. Rice Plumbing has worked with us for several years. We have been very pleased with their level of service. This summer I had a quick hitting new install project that had to be completed to open a building on time. James worked nights, weekends, and overtime to ensure that we met our goals and were able to open on time. I appreciate his willingness to do what is necessary to get the job done. Thank you!

I recently had Blake from Remedy Plumbing replace my hot water heater and install an automatic shut-off valve, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience. From the initial quote a couple of weeks ago through installation today, Blake was fair, straightforward, and clearly very knowledgeable in his craft. He took the time to explain the work, answered my questions thoroughly, and delivered exactly what he said he would. The installation looks clean, professional, and well thought out — and everything is working perfectly. It’s obvious Blake takes pride in doing the job the right way, not just the fast way. If you’re looking for a plumber who is honest, down-to-earth, and highly competent, I would absolutely recommend Blake and Remedy Plumbing.

My experience was so great. I was able to get on the schedule the next day after calling. My technician l, Blake, was here early and got straight to work. The options and pricing were laid out very clearly and gave me the ability to control how much I spent. Blake was able to swap out the breaker and luckily that was the only fix we needed this time. But he showed me how their system has all of my units information saved if we are ever to need service again.

Blake from Remedy Plumbing reached my 20 year-old water heater and fixed a faucet. I would leave him a 10 star review if I could. He was exceptionally polite, professional, and knowledgeable.

Professional Drain Cleaning in Athens

From the historic homes in Five Points to the bustling student housing near UGA, Athens residents know that a clogged drain can bring a busy day to a screeching halt. Dealing with slow drains or backups is stressful enough without the added headache of calling multiple plumbers only to find they are booked for the week. Our service takes the guesswork out of finding help in the Classic City. We specialize in connecting you with certified Athens plumbers who are ready to work right now. Instead of you making dozens of calls, we scan our local network, filter by your specific zip code, and personally call to confirm availability. Whether you're near Sanford Stadium or out towards Winterville, we ensure a professional is on the way before you ever pick up the phone.

Common Drain Issues in Athens

Georgia’s famous red clay can wreak havoc on underground pipes. As the ground shifts during the humid Georgia summers or heavy spring rains, older pipes in Athens neighborhoods can crack, allowing silt and sediment to build up and cause stubborn blockages.

The abundance of majestic Oak and Pecan trees in Athens is part of the city's charm, but their root systems are a nightmare for sewer lines. These roots seek out moisture in your pipes, leading to massive clogs and potential pipe bursts if not cleared by a professional.

In high-density student housing areas around the University of Georgia, drains often face heavy usage. Accumulation of hair, grease, and non-flushable items can lead to frequent backups that require professional-grade hydro-jetting to clear completely.

Many of Athens' most beautiful neighborhoods feature historic plumbing systems. These older cast iron or clay pipes are more prone to corrosion and scale buildup, which slows down water flow and requires delicate, expert cleaning to avoid damaging the aged infrastructure.

Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for Athens

Spring: After the heavy Georgia spring rains, check your basement or crawlspace drains for any backup caused by an oversaturated water table and ensure your outdoor area drains are clear of pine straw.

Summer: With the high humidity in Athens, mold and slime can build up in AC condensate lines. Regularly flush these drains to prevent water damage during the peak of the Georgia heat.

Fall: Keep your gutters and outdoor drains clear of falling leaves. In Athens, the heavy leaf drop can quickly clog exterior drainage systems, leading to localized flooding around your foundation.

Winter: While Athens winters are generally mild, occasional hard freezes can cause pipes to contract and crack. Before the first freeze, ensure all outdoor faucets are drained and hoses are disconnected to prevent pressure-related clogs.

Average Drain Cleaning Costs in Athens

$145-$425

Pricing in Athens typically depends on the severity of the clog and the equipment required. A simple snake service is more affordable, while main line clearing or hydro-jetting using specialized cameras usually falls on the higher end.
