Top Rated Plumbers in Atlanta
Atlantis Plumbing
691 John Wesley Dobbs Ave NE UNIT W, Atlanta, GA 30312, USA
(770) 505-8570Our toilet flooded at Prestige Jewelers a couple days ago. We contacted Cody with Garrett Mechanical yesterday, and he came out first thing this morning…on a Saturday and on Valentine’s Day!! He and his partner quickly found the clogged pipe, replaced the toilet, and had everything handled efficiently and professionally. Great communication, no stress, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. Thanks to Cody, we can keep our diamonds sparkling and our floors dry. Highly recommend Garrett Mechanical!
2 weeks agoDylan was exceptionally great with customer service and helping out with a sewer line that was damaged in my yard. He was knowledgeable and friendly as well as helpful in managing costs and best case scenarios decisions for the project in my home. I highly recommend him and his team for any plumbing needs!!
4 weeks agoWe had an intake line burst in the water heater closet in the house just before midnight recently (not due to freezing). With water spraying into the closet, we quickly called around looking for a 24-hour plumber with decent ratings. Several of the more recognizable names in the area were not 24-hour, but Atlantis dispatched Tony S. with a 40-minute arrival time. Tony arrived, quickly assessed the situation and got the water shut off. Then, he went to work to replace the section of pipe. Suspecting a pressure problem, he ran those checks as well, ultimately finding the burst section of pipe was old and had weak or damage spots and the pressure was fine. He did point out some changes we might consider (previous owner had self-installed this water heater), but there was no high-pressure or dire warnings just to secure more work. Tony was fast, friendly and got us back in business. We may have a new go-to plumber.
2 weeks agoThe Clog Dawg Plumbing & Hydrojetting
2160 Kingston Ct M6, Marietta, GA 30067, USA
(770) 746-2762First will start with I highly recommend working with clog dawg for your plunbing needs. They are professionals. We worked with Kenny Moultrie who is a professional and knows his stuff. More context: There was a smell coming from the basement space where our sump pump is housed. Originally contacted a different plumber, who showed up diagnosed the issue, wanted to do it same day, we shared not same day but in a few. We then reached out to said plumber to continue the discussion and plan, he ghosted us. We then reach out to clog dawg. They answered right away, scheduled a day and time. Kenny Moultrie showed up on day, evaluated the situation, and shared plan to resolve. He did not press to resolve the issue. Instead we discussed timing, price, and that was it. The professionalism sold it for me. I called the following day to reschedule the time to start the job, and it was smooth. Kenny showed up, got the job done, was a professional, and shared details on what’s been done, and things to keep in mind around house plumbing.
2 months agoSteve did an amazing job quickly clearing a 40+ year old section of black corrugated downspout pipe that was clogged full of roots and debris with the hydrojet! Having the right equipment and the skill to use it made this look easy, and didn't damage the old pipes. I then asked him to jet several other drainage lines and the main sewer line as preemptive maintenance. I'm very happy with Steve and Clog Dawg's prompt service and great price, I won't need to worry with these again for many years. Thank you Steve!
4 months agoThe Clog Dawg company are great, we had a back up in our backyard, coming from our neighbors clean out.Steve and Kenny showed up ,hydrojetted the line, problem solved. While running a camera through mine and the neighbors line ,both lines being 60 yrs old,we decided to replace them with pvc.The job was great. Kenny and Randy were awesome, explained to us everything they were doing, finished in a timely manner. I highly recommend the Clog Dawg. They are awesome and fair

971 N Hairston Rd Ste. P, Stone Mountain, GA 30083, USA
(470) 210-2071Efficient repair from their plumbing team when our bathtub was draining very slowly. It had been building up for a long time. They removed hair and debris from deep inside the line. After flushing it clean, the water drained perfectly. The difference is clear.
1 week agoOur bathtub drain was getting slower each week. This drain cleaners came in, removed a surprising amount of buildup and left the whole area spotless. The technician also adjusted the stopper mechanism, which I didn’t even realize was misaligned. Everything now works like new. I really appreciated the effort they put into small details.
3 months agoThe shower drain was clogged with buildup. Their specialists cleared it completely. Water flows without any delay now. Great experience overall.
1 week agoDelta Plumbing The Educated Plumber
85 Daniel Dr, Stockbridge, GA 30281, USA
(770) 474-5555We had an issue with a clogged drain that was causing water to back up into our garage. Brandon came out super fast and took care of the problem right away! He was professional, friendly, and very personable — explained everything clearly and made sure everything was working perfectly before he left. Excellent service Highly recommend Brandon for anyone needing quick and reliable help!
4 months agoI enjoyed their company. They’re very nice and polite and reasonable and knowledgeable on what they were doing. I can tell from my first encounter that I wanted them to do my septic tank. Kyle was very professional very smart. He knew what he was doing and I felt comfortable I recommend them to anybody
3 months agoAttempted to give them biz twice and each rep sent made me question the slogan about ‘being educated’. So smart yet Focused on upselling only. Latest experience was with Rodrick who was overly familiar, scatterbrained, not precise in assessment and definitely not customer centric. Misdiagnosed issue and didn’t even provide a quote in writing after spending an inordinate amount of time trying to sway me to believe I had to redo system. Thank God I have discerning knowledge and can spot a white-shoe salesman. Do Better.
2 weeks agoPanther Plumbing
5701 Mableton Pkwy SW Suite 212, Mableton, GA 30126, USA
(404) 738-7228I had an old iron pipe that rusted through and was draining into my crawlspace. I had Bryson come out and he walked me through my main concern (the pipe) and highlighted additional issues that he saw. I was tracking 3 of the 4, so I felt confident it wasn't just a money grab. The best part was, he wasn't pushy. He didn't try and convince me to get everything done immediately. He told me what his concerns were and how the additional plumbing issues would affect the house. That was very much appreciated. Admittedly it was a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. The customer service was great. The physical service was fast and efficient. I will definitely be using them again.
2 months agoNeeded a main drain clog fixed for a home in Mableton. Got quoted a substantially higher estimate from another company that also insisted I use a mitigation service to drain toilets before they would perform work. However I called Panther for a second opinion. Very helpful and friendly customer service and tech Justin C was fast, competent and courteous. Highly recommend.
3 months agoRidiculously high pricing. Justin came to my home and gave me 2 quotes to repair a leaking copper drain pipe under my kitchen sink. Not an easy location to work on, I get that but still... over $7000 to fix it?! Or if I pay someone else to move the gigantic custom made center island, he'd do the job for just over $5000. I asked him how long it would take to complete the job and he said 6 to 7 hours total. Since there's not a lot of materials needed, the job is mostly labor. I said, "You make $1000 an hour?!" He said "No we charge $675 an hour". I showed him the door and he left. About 30 mins later, someone else called from Panther and ask me... "I heard you weren't happy with the price. How much WOULD you pay?" After a few cuss words came out of my mouth, I hung up. I hate companies like this who hit you with a stupid high price up front just to see if you might agree. Instead, I told him I was offended that he thought I was so stupid to pay $7000 for a job that would maybe take 6 to 7 hours. Then today, I get annoying texts and emails asking me to leave a review. Okay, here's the honest review that you asked for. EDIT to respond to owners comments: It wasn't a "minor price objection" that we were talking about. It was a $6000+ difference between your price and the plumbing company I hired. Your quote was over $7000! I got two other companies to come out and give quotes yesterday. Neither were remotely close to your crazy $7000+ price. I'm hiring the company that quoted me a fair price of $945. They knew of panther and justin from prior work. They just laughed when I told them about the $7000 quote. They're stopping the leak for $945. You wanted $7000+. That's absurd. If the job takes 6-7 hours, they're making well over $100 an hour. That's pretty darned good money for a blue collar worker. I've never made $100 an hour in my 59 years on this planet. I don't care how great you think your techs are or how much money your van costs. A leak is a leak. Stopping it, isn't rocket science. Each plumber is going to stop the leak the same way. Panther doesn't offer some magic way of stopping the leak that should cost 7 times what everyone else charges. You're too full of yourself sir. No homeowner has $6k to throw away like that so you can pay for your "$100k asset parked in my driveway". I'll hire the guy in the old rusty truck and has no booties on his feet any day. All of your negative reviews are from people who said the same thing... YOUR PRICES ARE TOO HIGH. Wake up. The positive reviews you have are obviously from stupid, gullible & overly trusting homeowners who didn't bother getting a 2nd or 3rd quote.
3 weeks agoUnion City Plumbers & Drain Clean Pros
6740 Shannon Pkwy STE 14, Union City, GA 30291, USA
(470) 759-3865Our shower pressure dropped whenever another faucet was used. The issue was traced to a partially blocked pressure balancing valve. Cleaning and replacing the valve restored steady water flow.
1 month agoSmooth drainage returned immediately after this service cleared the sink line. The work was done neatly. No mess was left behind.
2 months agoA slow draining shower became a daily annoyance and the blockage was cleared properly with the technician taking their time.
1 month agoAtlanta Plumbing & Drain CO
3500 Lenox Rd NE Suite 1500, Atlanta, GA 30326, USA
(470) 693-8389I contacted Atlanta Plumbing & Drain Co due to water leaking from my ceiling. A member of the team was dispatched the same day. I was given a 4 hour afternoon appointment window & they arrived within the first hour of the quoted window. They were professional & courteous locating the source of the leak very quickly. The repair was made before the appointment window time expired. Very impressive! I now have a go-to plumber in the event that I ever need services again.
3 months agoExcellent service the guys were very professional. They made sure the job was completed correctly. I got my busted pipes replaced as well as my water heater. All in the same day. I can’t thank Atlanta Plumbing & Drain enough, for taking great care of my family and I. Truly my Hometown Plumbers.
1 month agoI am thoroughly impressed with the overall quality of Atlanta Plumbing & Drain. They came to my house in Newnan to repair my water heater, new gas line and replaced my old cast iron pipes. I hate that they wasn’t my first choice but the other jobs was trying to advantage of me. Thank you Mike, Rahmel, Alema for your expertise and great customer service. Make them your first choice and you won’t be disappointed.
4 months agoFix & Flow Plumbing Co.
1433 Mayson St NE, Atlanta, GA 30324, USA
(404) 800-3569Fix and Flow has been consistent in delivering high-quality work and showing professionalism and care in everything they do. They completed a full sewer line repair for us a couple years ago. I received 3 estimates at the time, and while prices were comparable, they stood out for their thoroughness and clear communication. They took their time and didn't rush the job, even working late into the evening to avoid bad weather coming the next day. While the other companies wanted to break up the driveway, Fix and Flow worked with us on a less invasive option and carefully restored the landscaping afterward. We've used them several times since and have continued to be impressed. They don't push unnecessary services and clearly walk you through different options based on your budget while being upfront about the scope of the issue. They are always patient and respectful when explaining what work needs to be done. So glad I found this company!
1 month agoMy toilet needed maintenance and Fix and Flow was able to come the next day to check it out. As a business owner myself, I appreciated that they were able to work with my schedule. They use a messaging system to communicate when your repair man will be arriving and who will be arriving. I really appreciate the communication. Kendall came and worked quickly and efficiently to replace my toilet. He was very courteous and respectful of the property ensuring that everything was put back the same if not better than how he found it. I would highly recommend Fix and Flow for your Atlanta plumbing needs!
3 months agoThe guys who handled the job were professional, friendly, and efficient. I really appreciated how clear they were about every step of the process — no guesswork, no surprises. Their skill and attention to detail made everything feel effortless. It’s rare to find service that’s both fast and trustworthy, especially on a holiday. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone, and I’ll definitely call them again if anything else goes wrong. They turned a stressful situation into an easy, smooth experience.

(404) 694-5128Corey and his team did a trenchless sewer line replacement for us last year. Very efficiently and professionally done and most importantly we didn't have to tear up our entire driveway. Would highly recommend.
1 month agoCorey and his team of The Plumbers Guild provided energy, initiative and professional integrity all the way they did the work not only timely, but expeditiously and at a fair price. In a future time, I would 100% hire them for plumbing needs. They replaced my main sewer line from the house to the street. They're a Gold standard. - Hank Richardson
2 months agoI was referred to The Plumbers Guild by another vendor. I initially contacted Corey for a leak in our main water lines at one of our mixed use properties. He and his crew responded quickly and executed the work fast and very efficiently. Their whole team were mindful, quick, and good at their job. They are now our main vendor for plumbing and I strongly recommend them.
1 month agoRCP Plumbing, LLC
441 Gage Hill Ln, Fairburn, GA 30213, USA
(404) 670-0043RCP Plumbing goes beyond being just a plumbing company; they have become like family. I purchased my house on W Campbellton St., which had a sewer line backed up due to tree roots infiltrating the pipes. RCP Plumbing was honest, punctual, patient, professional, and demonstrated a clear understanding of the issue. It’s reassuring to know that good, trustworthy businesses still exist. Also, they do not get over on customers!
2 weeks agoHighly recommend RCP! I live up in the north east, but had a situation where I needed urgent work done in a very short timeframe in Georgia at my brother’s house. I don’t know the area that well, and did my research online, finding RCP. I was very lucky I did. Highly knowledgeable and professional crew. It was very easy to work with the Owner, who is hands-on, and made sure everything went smoothly. RCP really came through. Straightforward quote process, trustworthy,. And they Showed up exactly when they said they would.
3 months agoI purchased a new Delta Touch 2.0 kitchen faucet and had initially decided to install it myself. When I looked under my island sink cabinet and realized the complexities of the install, I changed my mind. I searched the great Google for a well rated Plumbing Service in my area and found RCP Plumbing. I reached out via phone and got an immediate response. I received a quote via email that was very professional. I got a text and email confirmation of my scheduled time. Mr. Rice came out the next day. They arrived on time. They completed the work without any issues and made sure the faucet worked to specifications. I was invoiced and was able to pay electronically through the invoice. Very Professional.
3 years agoProfessional Drain Cleaning in Atlanta
Navigating the 'City in a Forest' shouldn't include navigating a plumbing disaster. In Atlanta, finding a reliable plumber who can actually make it through I-285 or GA-400 traffic to help you today is often the hardest part of a drain clog. Whether you are dealing with a backed-up sink in Midtown or a main line issue in Buckhead, you need a solution that works on your schedule. That is where our unique verification service comes in. Instead of you calling down a list of names only to find they are booked out for weeks, we do the legwork. We scan our network of certified Atlanta plumbers, filter them by your exact zip code, and call them directly to confirm they have a technician available to solve your specific drain issue right now. We don't just give you a list; we give you a confirmed appointment.
Common Drain Issues in Atlanta
Atlanta’s famous tree canopy is a point of pride, but it’s a nightmare for sewer lines. In neighborhoods like Virginia-Highland and Old Fourth Ward, massive oak and elm roots often find their way into aging clay pipes, causing recurring backups and structural damage that requires professional hydro-jetting.
The 'Georgia Red Clay' isn't just a local aesthetic; it's a dense, heavy soil that shifts significantly during our humid summers and wet winters. This ground movement can cause subterranean pipes to bellies or crack, leading to slow-moving drains and persistent clogs that a simple plunger won't fix.
Many of Atlanta’s historic homes feature a mix of original cast iron and modern PVC plumbing. This 'transitional plumbing' often creates catch points for debris and scale buildup, especially in areas like Inman Park where decades of sediment can narrow the internal diameter of your pipes.
From backyard low-country boils to daily southern cooking, Atlanta kitchens work hard. FOG (Fats, Oils, and Grease) are a major cause of clogs here. When these substances hit the cool pipes under your home, they solidify into 'fatbergs' that can completely shut down your drainage system.
Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for Atlanta
Spring Pollen and Debris: After Atlanta's heavy pollen season, ensure your outdoor area drains and gutter downspouts are clear. Silt and organic matter can mix with pollen to create a sludge that blocks perimeter drainage.
Summer Storm Preparation: Atlanta is prone to sudden, heavy thunderstorms. Check your basement floor drains and sump pumps in June to ensure they can handle the flash flooding common in the metro area.
Fall Leaf Management: With our dense tree cover, autumn leaves quickly clog outdoor drains and sewer vents. Keep your roof and yard clear to prevent rainwater from backing up into your home’s plumbing system.
Winter Freeze Protection: While Atlanta winters are generally mild, the occasional hard freeze can cause outdoor pipes to crack. Drain your exterior hoses and shut off outdoor valves to prevent pressure-related clogs and bursts come January.
Average Drain Cleaning Costs in Atlanta
The cost of drain cleaning in Atlanta typically depends on the severity of the clog and the equipment required (snaking vs. hydro-jetting). Emergency after-hours service or main line access may increase the total.
Frequently Asked Questions about Drain Cleaning in Atlanta
How fast can I get a plumber to my home in Atlanta?
Because we filter specifically by your zip code and call to confirm availability before connecting you, we often find Atlanta plumbers who can arrive within 2 to 4 hours, even during heavy traffic periods.
Are your plumbers familiar with older homes in neighborhoods like Buckhead or Decatur?
Yes, we work with certified professionals across the metro area who are highly experienced with the unique plumbing challenges of Atlanta's historic homes, including cast iron pipe maintenance and root intrusion.
Do you offer 24/7 drain cleaning in Atlanta?
Absolutely. We verify 24-hour availability within our network, ensuring that if you have a midnight emergency in areas like Sandy Springs or Smyrna, we can find a technician who is actually awake and ready to roll.
Will tree roots in my sewer line require digging up my yard?
Not necessarily. Many of our partner plumbers in Atlanta use trenchless technology or high-pressure hydro-jetting to clear roots without destroying your landscaping or the 'City in a Forest' vibe of your property.
Does the red clay in Georgia affect my home's drainage?
Yes, the heavy clay can put pressure on pipes and cause them to shift or sag. Local plumbers are trained to look for these 'bellies' in the line using camera inspections, which is a common service in the Atlanta area.
