We made an appointment on Monday to investigate a septic tank that would not drain. On Tuesday, Tony and Mickey showed-up inside our appointment window with all the tools needed to evaluate the tank, dig up enough to expose the lid and open it to find that the drain line leaving the tank was completely clogged with roots. They pumped the tank to expose the drain, cleared the roots at the opening, then jetted the line a couple of hundred feet to verify that the drain lines were flowing properly. They and supervisor Jay Akers were great at explaining all the steps and keeping me informed throughout the whole process. When finished, they returned the dirt where it belonged, closed and locked the gate and were gone about two hours after they arrived. Considering it was septic tank service, it was actually a really great experience. We're glad to have found Rooter Pro through TrustDale.com!

Working with Rooter Pro was a real pleasure. I needed a new water heater and pressure-reducing valve, as mine were over two decades old. They were able to send out a technician on a Friday morning for an inspection and a quote. The technician, Andy, was very polite, professional, and punctual. He walked me through the process, answered all of my questions, and recommended quality upgraded replacement parts with installation, along with an extended service warranty at a very competitive price. Once I approved the quote, he was back out here on a weekend in less than 24 hours. I’m very happy with the clean results and the care taken to get the job done right. If I have any other plumbing needs, I will definitely give Rooter Pro a call. Thanks again!

I wanted to take the time to send a shout out to the guys at Paramount Plumbing. We purchased our home when it was stripped down to the studs. While some plumbing was still in place, it was old black pipe with visible cracks, past leaks, and multiple patch repairs from prior owners. We received several estimates and ultimately chose Paramount Plumbing — and we’re so happy we did. Paramount completely re-plumbed our entire home with 100% new plumbing. They also installed sinks, showers, drains, toilets, vanities, hose spickets...everything. We had changed the floor plan significantly, added multiple bathrooms, an additional kitchen, a pantry with a sink, a main-floor laundry room, and ended up with five bathrooms total. They also jetted our main sewer line, which helped us avoid having to jackhammer the slab — a huge win. They recommended and replaced our water heater, repaired and replaced gas lines as needed, and even ran new gas lines to our 60-year-old fireplace. Their recommendations were greatly appreciated, and the quality of work was excellent. They also reccomended ways we could save on cost which is a really big deal when you have to do that much remodeling. Out of every contractor involved in our remodel, Paramount Plumbing was the only one who showed up every day, on time, and completed their work efficiently, timely and correctly. They took the time to do things the right way, and it genuinely felt like they cared about the quality and long-term reliability of their work. We built a large custom shower with four independent fixtures, and they executed it perfectly. I sleep better at night knowing the plumbing was done right. They were also the only contractor on our entire project who passed county inspection quickly and without issues. After the challenges we faced with other trades, Eric, Aiden, and Ferman from Paramount were the best part of our remodel experience. Highly recommend the guys at Paramount.

Nick and Aiden from Paramount Plumbing were great to work with. They quickly figured out the potential causes of my washer drain pipe overflowing in my high-rise condo in Midtown and fixed the issue efficiently. Both were friendly, professional, and took the time to explain what was going on and how to prevent future problems. I really appreciated the small details too — they wore shoe coverings and gave helpful tips for safely leaving a condo unattended. Highly recommend Paramount Plumbing!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND - Overdue review as I've used this company for over 1.5yrs - it's a hard world of "who can you trust" yet Paramount Plumbing is the best. I've been extremely pleased by their professionalism, expertise and overall kindness in handling one emergency, and a few service issues. Fermin uncovered and fixed an HVAC blockage that SLAM Plumbing recommended I spend $1000 and go into the wall to "fix" but wasn't sure if would fix it or not. Unreal. Fermin and Jason deserve special shout out and recognition for their overall knowledge, expertise and how they helped in the various situations. Thank you all for being easy to schedule with, quick to action (at least in my experience), great to work with, trustworthy, and overall fantastic company!

Water was pooling under the sink cabinet without a visible cause. Their crew located a slow leak at a hidden joint and corrected it before it worsened. The cabinet has stayed completely dry. Nearby connections were inspected as well. The attention to detail stood out.

Our toilet flooded at Prestige Jewelers a couple days ago. We contacted Cody with Garrett Mechanical yesterday, and he came out first thing this morning…on a Saturday and on Valentine’s Day!! He and his partner quickly found the clogged pipe, replaced the toilet, and had everything handled efficiently and professionally. Great communication, no stress, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. Thanks to Cody, we can keep our diamonds sparkling and our floors dry. Highly recommend Garrett Mechanical!

We are new to Atlanta and I found this company on Google reviews. I contacted Atlanta Plumbing & Drain Co due to water leaking from my ceiling. A member of the team was dispatched the same day. I was given a 4 hour afternoon appointment window & they arrived within the first hour of the quoted window. They were professional & courteous locating the source of the leak very quickly. The repair was made before the appointment window time expired. Very impressive! I now have a go-to plumber in the event that I ever need services again.

Another great experience with Atlantis. John and I decided there’s no more plumbing issues to address in this house! They’ve done our main line replacement, water heater, full re-pipe, fixture replacements and full basement remodel. I’ve recommended to a dozen friends and know of at least 8 that used and were extremely happy with Atlantis. Thank you for being a great company to do business with!

Lost hot water due to faulty water heater. The two techs did great work. Cleaned up nicely. The company needs to improve its communication from its office. I was told the techs would arrive from 12-4pm. I called at 5pm to make sure they were on their way as i feared the office closed at 5pm and didn't want to go another night without hot water. The operator told me she would check on status of the techs and call me right back. When i didn't hear back by 5:45pm i called again and the same operator told me they were 5 minutes away. The follow up can improve but overall very happy that we're back to normal with hot water. Reasonable pricing too.

Verify Availability Before You Call

Professional Drain Cleaning in Marietta, Georgia

Marietta is a unique blend of historic Southern charm and rapid modern growth, meaning residents from the Marietta Square to the suburbs of East Cobb face a wide variety of plumbing infrastructures. Whether you are living in a beautifully restored Victorian home or a newer construction near Kennesaw Mountain, a clogged drain can bring your daily routine to a screeching halt. Finding a plumber who is actually available when you need them shouldn't be another chore on your list.

Our service takes the stress out of the search. We manage a network of 15 certified Marietta plumbers and use a specialized zip-code filtering system to find the pros closest to your front door. More importantly, we don't just give you a list; we call the plumbers ourselves to verify they have a technician ready for a 24-hour dispatch before we connect you. This ensures you get immediate help without the frustration of ringing multiple businesses only to be told they are booked up.

Common Drain Issues in Marietta, Georgia

Tree Root Intrusion: Marietta is famous for its lush canopy of oak and maple trees. In older neighborhoods, these powerful root systems often seek out moisture in aging sewer lines, causing persistent and deep-seated blockages that standard chemicals can't touch.

Historic Pipe Fatigue: Many homes in Marietta’s historic districts still utilize cast iron or clay piping. Over decades, these pipes can corrode or collapse, leading to recurring clogs and drainage issues that require professional camera inspections to diagnose correctly.

Hard Water Mineral Buildup: The local water supply in Cobb County can lead to mineral scale buildup inside your pipes. Over time, these deposits narrow the diameter of your drains, causing sinks and showers to drain slower and slower until they stop completely.

Seasonal Pine Straw & Debris: Our Georgia pines drop a massive amount of needles and debris. During heavy Marietta rainstorms, this material often washes into outdoor area drains and basement stairwells, leading to localized flooding if the drains aren't professionally cleared.

Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for Marietta, Georgia

Spring: After the heavy Georgia spring rains, check your outdoor yard drains. Clear away any accumulated mulch or pine straw to ensure runoff doesn't back up toward your crawlspace or foundation.

Summer: With the kids home from school and more frequent hosting, your garbage disposal sees heavy use. Avoid putting fibrous peach pits or corn husks—common in Georgia summers—down the drain to prevent kitchen clogs.

Fall: As the leaves drop across Cobb County, ensure your gutters and downspout drains are clear. Blocked downspouts can cause water to pool near your home's main drain line, increasing the risk of a backup.

Winter: While Marietta winters are generally mild, we do experience hard freezes. Insulate pipes in unheated areas like garages or basements to prevent them from freezing and cracking, which can lead to major drainage failures when they thaw.

Average Drain Cleaning Costs in Marietta, Georgia

$175-$475

Prices in Marietta typically vary based on the location of the clog (secondary line vs. main sewer line) and the equipment required, such as motorized augers or hydro-jetting technology.

Frequently Asked Questions about Drain Cleaning in Marietta, Georgia

How quickly can a plumber arrive at my Marietta home?

Because we filter by your specific Marietta zip code and call to verify immediate availability, most customers can have a verified plumber on-site within 2-4 hours, or even faster for emergencies.

Do you service all neighborhoods in Marietta and Cobb County?

Yes, our network covers the entire Marietta area, from West Side near the mountain to the 120 Loop and East Cobb. We use your zip code to ensure the plumber dispatched is the one closest to you.

Are the plumbers in your network licensed for Georgia residential work?

Absolutely. We only partner with certified plumbers who are fully licensed and insured to operate in the state of Georgia and are familiar with Marietta's specific building codes.

Is 24/7 emergency drain cleaning available in Marietta?

Yes. Our verification process specifically identifies which plumbers in our Marietta network are currently available for 24-hour emergency calls, so you aren't left waiting until morning.

What is the most common cause of sewer backups in Marietta?

In this region, tree root intrusion from our heavy tree cover is the leading cause of main line backups, followed by grease buildup and 'flushable' wipes getting caught in older pipe joints.
