Very happy with Matt’s work here. He fixed the mechanism for my shower, diagnosed the awful noisy sink faucet and replaced that with a new one. Also replaced parts in the powder room toilet. He unclogged kitchen sink drain and replaced water filter in the kitchen sink. Matt did a thorough check of all plumbing in the house, and he corrected water heater pipe connections as well. He was professional, friendly and efficient. My cat also liked him.

I have had great experiences with Benjamin Plumbing in the past but his time was different. They quoted me one price over the phone for a water heater replacement and had me send them photos of the unit to confirm what type I had. I told them the wrong type over the phone but I’m not a plumber.The photos I sent clearly showed the sticker on the heater and a full view of it. A plumbing company should be able to determine the type of water heater from the photos and this information should have been shared with the plumber and me in advance. If you don’t do onsite estimates, you need to make sure that you have a system in place to give accurate quotes based on the information you request. When the plumber arrived, he took one look at the water heater and said it was a power vent model not the chimney vent he’d been told to expect. After checking with the office, he let me know that the price would be $1000 higher for installing a power vent model. I have no complaint at all about the plumber or his work but I was extremely disappointed that his company would give such a wildly inaccurate quote. Instead of costing me less, it ended up costing me about the same as the other plumbers I contacted. Lesson learned.

We have used Benjamin Plumbing for multiple projects and always trust them to be transparent, provide quality work and always go above and beyond when answering questions or weighing in on a project. Matt & Kevin have been fantastic to work with on site.

While visiting my son in Madison, his sewer backed up. Monona Plumbing came out a short time after we called, to help us out. The technicians placed a Borescope camera down into a couple of different drain pipes to find and diagnose the extent of the blockage. Then they proceeded with a flex rooter to clean out all of the buildup that was blocking the drain. They followed up again with the camera to ensure the pipe was clean and intact. They were very pleasant and thorough, doing great work. The office staff were also very kind and helpful.

We were having some plumbing issues to the point that our basement started flooding. After calling multiple places and them not being able to come out till the next day- it was such a relief when Monona Plumbing said they could come out within the hour. They were quick, efficient and very helpful. They came up with a plan to help us upgrade our plumbing system, at a VERY affordable rate (we were expecting at least a two figure number, but it was only one). Would highly recommend them as your first call. We will be using them again in the future.

The representative was helpful, polite, and knew what he was doing. He answered all my questions in manner I could easily understand. Overall, it was a lovely experience, except for having to purchase a new water heater ($$), but that was easy, too!

We required original pipes to be replaced in our home from the kitchen sink to a drain located under the basement floor (concrete). Avid was quick to respond and offer us options. They were patient while we shopped around and looked at potential remodel options. In the end, we only repaired what needed to be done. They honored the quote that was 2-3 months old by that point and coordinated repairs quickly. Finished everything in less than two days and left the area cleaner than before they arrived. Highly recommend.

I would not recommend Avid Plumbing based on my recent experience. I contacted Avid Plumbing to install a water shutoff valve and to diagnose a water leak. The plumber, Thomas, came out and basically did nothing. Most of the visit consisted of uncertainty and guesswork. At one point, Thomas had to call someone because he wasn't sure if he could install the water shutoff valve. During that call I overheard the person on the other end imply that we were trying to do something shady and told Thomas to not install it. That was completely unprofessional, especially since we had already confirmed the requirements directly with the city. Thomas informed me a city meter would need to be installed first before they could install the shutoff valve, which directly contradicts what the city told us. For the leak issue, he suggested it might be coming from the roof which made little sense since the water leak was in the basement. There was no attempt to properly diagnose the problem. When asked if he could run a drain snake to check for a clog, he said they don't do that, which is surprising for a plumbing company. Thomas ended up charging me $75 trip fee and roughly $40 for a "diagnostic/labor" fee. I later called to question the diagnostic/labor fee since no actual testing or work was performed. Spoke to the owner and instead of acknowledging my concern, he went on a rant about how all plumbing companies charge these fees and how he needs to cover his business costs. He argued that "labor" can mean anything like even just showing up and showed zero willingness to consider the customer's perspective. The issue wasn't about paying a fee but about being charged for a service that wasn't actually performed. It's frustrating because I paid for professional service, yet it felt like I received guesswork from an untrained technician. When I hire a professional, I expect professional expertise, not a 15 minute conversation with someone who knows as much about plumbing as I do. My follow-up conversation with the owner was also disappointing as he seemed dismissive and prioritized his "business overhead" over the fact that his employee provided zero value. Save your money and call a company that actually sends licensed plumbers.

We've been utilizing Avid Plumbing LLC, since it opened and have always been absolutely thrilled with the service and results. This time was no different! Art arrived on time worked efficiently and handled all questions clearly into our satisfaction. We had a water heater, water softener, and massively corroded utility sink faucet replaced and couldn't believe how quickly it was all taken care of. After having several sewer backups, our plumber suggested calling Sewer Ninjas. Jordan was sent out to inspect and video camera our sewer and found severe damage. With Jordan's recommendations we used Sewer Ninjas method of relining our sewer pipe, saving our finished basement. Jordan and his crew did a super job and I would recommend Sewer Ninjas to anyone.

Found them from Reddit! Called yesterday at 2:30pm and they were here at 9:30am this morning (it was non-emergent). The person on the phone has lots of great questions and helped with my anxiety about the situation, she was kind patient and told me exactly what was likely happening. They called before their arrival and Sam and Merrik were very kind! They answered all my questions and worked really hard to find the drain they needed to go through. They used a camera through the kitchen sink to find the proper drain which we found immediately under a stupid box, so they took the camera charge off our bill. They cleared the block and it was from a tree root, so they fixed the issue! Unfortunately they did break one of their blades in the pipe, but they discounted that time because it was "their mistake." I just felt like they were really trying to provide a kind and compassion service and were very honest. They didn't try to get a quick buck because I didn't know anything. Would recommend!! I haven't gotten my bill yet but they outlined how much I should expect.

Mark's Reddi Rooter (MRR) is an outstanding company that I've been using for all my plumbing problems for the past four years. I'd been postponing doing a simple bathroom remodel in my rental house, assuming it would cost a fortune. I then spoke with Jeff, the scheduler at MRR, and he reassured me that his crew could complete the demolition of the old bath/shower enclosure and installation of a new prefab unit in two days, at a reasonable cost. I was very pleased with the excellent installation work done by Jake and Chris - both highly skilled plumbers - who helped fix other problems as well, such as replacing defective shutoff valves inside the house. My tenants are now absolutely delighted to have a modern, functional new bathroom, thanks to Jake and Chris!

Great service and fast response. We called about 11 AM and they were able to come within 2 hours. This is our second time using Madison Sewer and Drain. They were professional and friendly. It only took them 30 minutes to solve our drain problem. Highly recommended.

Phenomenal service! Our floor drain backed up Sunday night. I called Monday morning and they came out a couple hours later. Had the whole thing cleared out and working again in under an hour. Price was super reasonable. Highly recommend and will use again in the future if we have problems.

I highly recommend this company to unclog a drain. In March 2024, I experience a very slow kitchen sink drain. I called Madison Sewer & Drain Cleaning. Eric answered the call and was able to tell me that he could have someone at my home within a couple of hours. Ken & his assistant arrived at the time Eric said they would. Ken was able to assess my situation and within a 1/2 an hour had my kitchen sink draining. The crew was very professional and conscientious. They had a drop cloth for their equipment. They charged the 1 hour minimum. I felt it was completely worth the money. If you have a clogged drain that you can’t fix, Madison Sewer & Drain Cleaning is the company to call.

My air conditioner quit working on Sunday May 17. I filled out an on line form for service Sunday morning, and they called me 7:30 Monday morning to say a service man would be on the way. Shortly after the service technician, Joel Barlow, texted me and said he was on the way. He arrived quickly and he knew what the problem was, a bad condenser fan capacitor. He had the part in his truck. It was operating in a few minutes. He also opened up the unit and cleaned it all out with a water hose. Then he came inside and measured the inlet and outlet temps. No other service companies did this. I was impressed. I highly recommend All Comfort Services. I will use them from now on.

My call back was within 10 minutes of them opening in the morning. The phone triage person was very kind and asked appropriate questions. They notified me the service gentleman was coming out and I was able to track him on their app so it was very convenient for a home where we are working. our service gentleman was very nice and informative. He was skilled and knew what he was doing and told me what we could do to keep our furnace in the best possible shape. We will definitely reach out again for maintenance

After scheduling with a different company, that took 10 days for their "project manager" to come out and provide no help or information about my situation, I contacted All Comfort Services. They had a knowledgeable technician at my house less than 24 hours later. The technician explained my situation thoroughly and provided me options to resolve it. When we decided to replace our water softener, the technician started immediately on the work and completed the work within 2 hours. The pricing was transparent. The technician explained everything to me before leaving and provided clean work leaving behind no mess. The plumber was able to attempt to repair the clean-out near the lateral going out to the septic tank but the hub was cracked. Excavation was arranged only to find the 4 foot lateral was severely damaged. They had the lateral repaired and new PVC clean-out to connect to the interior plumbing. Aaron was there at 5:30 in the morning and the excavator was there at 8 pm getting things done. The whole job done in two days for a very reasonable price.

We have always used 4 Lakes Plumbing because they are quick to respond, do great work and don’t gouge us on pricing. The people are super friendly and knowledgeable. We recently had a new garbage disposable installed by them and it’s a commercial grade, stainless steel Insinkerator…much quieter than our old one and installed in under an hour. My husband and I highly recommend them!

I couldn’t be happier with The work done by this company! Not only was the job done as well as I could possibly have asked for, I was so shocked with how quickly they installed a whole new sink on top of creating an access panel and the opposite side of the wall In case any work needs to ever be done again that it’s easy and accessible. The man that came to my house was Dan, he was so experienced and knew exactly what he was doing. These smaller companies really do care about their customers, unlike a lot of the larger companies that are much more advertised and talked about which is so sad. 4lakes Plumbing showed me what things are supposed to be like when it comes to customer care and not to mention the final cost was nearly a3 of the cost that any other place gave us an estimate for this job being done.
