Appleton Drain & Sewer Cleaning
319 W North Ave, Little Chute, WI 54140, USA
(920) 284-7471It’s hard to find good service these days. We had toilet clogged couple times by my father and because of his mobility and senior challenges at 91 he can’t make it to another floor in time to get to another restroom in house. Mike was excellent both times in coming to fix the problem quickly. Mike was great to work with and standup guy. Just wanted to post a shout out that would highly recommend to call them.
5 months agoNeeded someone quickly to help with sewer backup. Appleton Drain and Sewer arrived within the hour and had everything fixed within 30 mins! This happened on a Saturday so, the cost was a little higher than weekdays but, still less expensive than another local company. It's a crappy job so, I get why they charge what they charge. Someone has to do it!
6 months agoMike and his co-worker were very timely, thorough, and professional. Our kitchen sink, bathroom sink, and bathtub were draining slowly and now are free flowing. My wife is smiling everytime she runs them. Mike S.

(920) 428-3948I've used Don and his services for over eight years. From a sewer rebuild project to an entire house remodel times 2 and several water leak emergencies. He walked me through what I could do before he got there and showed up very quickly to fix the problems. Don and his guys are very trustworthy. I give them a code to the door and they do what they need to do to get the job done. He is honest in his pricing as well and will give ideas for a better affordable project or upgrade that you never thought of and absolutely love with no pressure to purchase anything extra, just a simple idea. These men are very knowledgeable and hard-working. They're not just my plumbers, they are my friends.
6 months agoDon has been our plumber for 30+ years. Very reasonable and excellent workmanship. We've had multiple projects done, total bathroom remodel, water heaters, clogged drains, indoor and outdoor faucets replacements, plumbing upgrades, garbage disposal, and more. He has a crew of very experienced workers. Work is done in a timely manner and completely cleaned up.
9 months agoExceeded our expectations! Don and his crew replaced our cast iron pipes and two toilets at a more than reasonable price. Professional service, worth every penny! Will use again.

(920) 391-5010I had some issues with both my bathroom sink and kitchen sinks backing up in my apartment. My property managers called ASAP LLC, and Nick was sent down. In less than an hour, he managed to diagnose my drain issues, fix them, and guide me through it and teach me a few things along the way. He was friendly, professional, and very dedicated to fixing my problem. Would definitely recommend ASAP to anyone I know for quick, thorough, and excellent service.
1 year agoASAP was able to schedule me for next day services. Nik came out and was very professional and explained how he was able to clear my bathroom sink and tub drains. He left the area very clean afterwards. He gave me instruction on how to keep the drains clear in the future. I would recommend using this company for your drain clearing needs. Thank you for your services!
1 year agoI am completely unsatisfied with the information I received from ASAP. If I could give them zero stars, I would. They are scammers, DO NOT HIRE THEM! I had a sewage back up and called them as they were the only ones who could get out to for lack of better words, come out ASAP. Yesterday, I had Nick stop by and advise me that I had a collapsed pipe in my sewer line. He showed me his gloves after he attempted to clean out the sewer line, stating that there was clay buildup, which states the pipe had completely collapsed. Freaking out, I contacted another company for a second opinion, and he was able to flush out my system with ease, and the "clay" he found was actually rust built up, as it's a cast-iron pipe. Basically, I paid ASAP $550 to come out to my house, not clean out my sewer line completely. He also advised that if he put his camera in my pipe and it broke, I would be liable for paying it. That doesn't even make any sense. Next time you send someone out for a sewer clean up.. make sure they go in the main sewer line. I will be canceling my check as you did nothing, but tell me I had a collapsed pipe when I don't.
1 year agoED's Drain Cleaning LLC
2740 Packerland Dr Unit D, Green Bay, WI 54313, USA
(920) 471-8661Evander was awesome; a pleasure to work with. I was able to get an appointment right when I needed it and loved that I could request on the website. He was able to identify and solve the issue quickly and shared how I might prevent the problem in the future. He pulled a monster of a root ball from my basement drain. Unbelievable! I was never so happy to see something so yucky. Thank you! I will definitely utilize his service for future plumbing issues and would highly recommend to family and friends.
3 months agoMy basement sewer line was backing up and my plumber recommended ED's Drain Cleaning. I called and Evander called me back within 15 minutes. He was at my house 30 minutes later and had my sewer line back in working order in 15 minutes...on a Saturday! Fast, polite, knowledgeable, and professional. Hopefully I never need him again, but will be saving his card in case I have this problem in the future.
2 months agoHad my sewer line back up into my basement on Friday night. After my original plumbing company couldn't come out. I started calling plumbers Saturday morning. Luckily, I got a call back from Ed's! He was able to fit me in within a few hours. Thankfully, he was able to clear the clogs and identify the issue with my lateral line. (A part of the sewer pipe had fallen/dropped. Most likely due to ground freezing and thawing over time causing ground to shift. Also, you guessed it, roots!) Ed was kind, professional and very helpful though everything. He even gave me some information for line repair. Amazing service!! Definitely switching 💯 to Ed's!!

(920) 734-4707I had a great experience with Speedy Clean. Ashley answered the phone and was incredibly friendly and helpful from the start. She got everything scheduled quickly and made the whole process easy. Derek and Dylan came out to take care of my sewer drain, and they were awesome—professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. They explained what was going on, fixed the issue, and made sure everything was running perfectly before they left. Highly recommend Speedy Clean if you need fast, reliable service!
6 months agoWill only use speedy clean from here on out! Every drain in my lower level was flooding with filthy debris. I called Speedy Clean and the lady on the phone was very helpful and able to send people to my house within 2 hours! Nik and Byron showed up and were very professional and very knowledgeable. They immediately put me at ease about such a big/messy situation, because after a quick assessment they knew the problem right away and had it fixed and cleaned up, FAST, leaving my house smelling like it was professionally cleaned. Which was a far cry from how it was when they arrived. Very impressed with such fast, professional services, on top of it the price was very reasonable. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.
3 months agoWe have used Speedy Clean in the past and received outstanding service at a fair price, so we contacted them again this time however it was an emergency service and on the weekend. Again, we received outstanding service at a great price. Nik arrived and had our problem diagnosed, repaired and cleaned up in two hours. Through the entire process Nik was very professional, kept us informed of each step in the process and did a wonderful job of cleaning up. We will differently use Speedy Clean for all of our drain and sewer needs in the future.

(920) 391-5010We needed a drain cleared ASAP. Vinny arrived exactly when he said he would, and got the job done quickly. Very happy with our experience!
3 months agoThis company is quick to come out, very friendly technician BUT COMPANY WILL BURN YOU FOR TWICE AS MUCH AS OTHERS CHARGE. Do not sign that contract. Call someone else. I paid $550+ for a very straightforward main drain clearing. No emergency. No holiday. Was quoted $350-500 on the phone as usual range. “Slight surcharge” for using a credit card… $22 more!! I doubt any 5 star review on here is legitimate. Beware.
2 years agoWARNING!!!!!!!! WARNING!!!! WARNING!!!! Brief summary... Besides showing up 1.5 hours before i had them scheduled. I had to hurry home (30 min from where I work), my wife already signed a contract. By the time i got home damage was done. They have you sign a contract before they do anything making you reliable for their equipment if it gets stuck, broken, or lost in your pipe. You pay them $279.99 up front and they will get give it back if you get their equipment back with in 48 hours. He said he felt a blockage with his camera and tried "pushing" through it. He double up his camera and broke the chord trying to retrieve it. Told me there was a problem with my pipe. Hired a contractor to come get his camera out. Dug down 10 feet to where the location of the camera was and cut the pipe. The pipe was not plugged or damaged. John got his camera stuck in a perfectly straight pipe. The total bill was $2100 for the excavation and repair. I did not get refunded my $279.99. Do not use this company!!!!!!! You have to pay for their carelessness and negligence. I have never heard of a business where you have to pay to retrieve their equipment.
8 years agoOgden Plumbing
209 Rockwood Ln, Neenah, WI 54956, USA
(920) 725-8985I used Ogden to address a clog in my main sewer line, and I would NOT recommend them. While they were friendly and very quick to respond, they were also expensive and ultimately ineffective. They sent two guys out (at $120/hr, each) that took 2 hours to run a snake through my main sewer line pipe one time. This restored water flow through the pipe and I was told there was no indication of there being a bigger problem. Ogden diagnosed the clog as likely being due to 'flushable' wipes that I have since stopped using. TWO WEEKS later, the same problem resurfaced and Ogden refused to stand behind their work. I was told that they would need to send two guys back out, at $120/hr each, and run a camera through my sewer line. In other words, when the service I paid $600 for proved ineffective, the only option they gave me was to pay another $400 for them to use a method they deemed unnecessary two weeks prior, in order to diagnose a problem that they told me they fixed. To be clear, this would have meant paying Ogden $1,000 for nothing more than a diagnosis. In the end, I contacted a different company that ultimately resolved the problem using the exact same snaking method/equipment - but at half the cost with a 90 day warranty. This other company offered a likely diagnosis that was not mentioned by Ogden, and clearly explained how to prevent reoccurrence. It's also worth noting that this other company, who did not charge by the hour, sent one worker that snaked my main sewer twice in half the time it took two Ogden workers to do it once. To sum it up: I would not recommend Ogden for your plumbing needs.
4 months agoOgden Plumbing installed my father-in-law's first hot water heater over 25 years ago, and this year it stopped working. Paul was able to come the day after it stopped working and efficiently installed the new one. We were thankful for the 24-hour phone line so we could get the message quickly. The following week we had an appointment for the rest of the plumbing needs in the house. My father-in-law really liked working with Paul, and requested him. Paul came right on time and worked to replace the kitchen faucet, switch the water hoses for the washer, and replace toilet tank plumbing. We were thankful for the efficiency and quality of his work. It is so pleasant to have the right temperatures in the washer, the toilet flushes so pleasantly, and our kitchen faucet fills the sink in under a minute! Thank you for being our home plumber!
7 months agoFANTASTIC service from Ogden! Had a water heater leak over the weekend, and Ogden was the only one of four calls I made who responded with a strong action plan, and had their team out first thing Monday morning with a new water heater. Royal, Steve, and Chris were all outstanding - thorough, knowledgeable, and very high quality of work. I highly recommend Ogden!
1 year agoBesch Plumbing Inc
715 W Marquette St, Appleton, WI 54914, USA
(920) 585-3686After getting a few quotes we hired Besch Plumbing to put in 2 upstairs shower surrounds for us. The first thing I liked about the Besch quote was that it was all inclusive, which included drywall repair around the new surrounds...no other quote included that. During the installation of the MBR surround the installer was pushing the drain/trap into place and pushed a hole in the kitchen drywall beneath where he was working. We got home from work and discovered the hole in our kitchen ceiling and called Andy to find out what was going on. He was at our home within 20 minutes, explained what happened and said he would have the drywall guy patch the hole in the kitchen when he fixed the drywall around both new surrounds. Makes sense, right. Then he kinda took me by surprise when on his own, without any complaint from us, he said he would hire a painter to come in and have the ceiling painted so that it looked it right when it was done. He hired the painter at his expense. The next day I try out my new MBR shower for the first time...and I didn't like where the shower hardware is positioned. It felt like I was leaning against the wall of the shower to get in front of the shower head and faucet. This was no fault of Besch plumbing, they cut the hardware in at the correct place. So I call Andy at 8:00 pm and expressed my concern. He answers and says give me 20 minutes and he will call me back. 20 minutes later he calls me back and says the only way to move the hardware is to get a new shower wall panel, cut the hardware in at a different place, and reinstall the panel. He informed me that the closest panel we needed was in Milwaukee, but he would send someone down there in the morning to pick it up. I ask what it will cost to accomplish all this and he said if it would make me happy he would just do it at no cost. In the end, the final invoice matched the quote. Now you might think that he must be really expensive to be able to go the extra mile like that. He wasn't. Even with drywall repair included Besch was in the middle of the quote range which is why we hired them in the first place. Andy and Besch Plumbing are an exceptional example of what working with a contractor is supposed to be like.
7 months agoAndy and Chris paid close attention to detail. They fixed several problems with our plumbing (created by a previous plumber). Installed a new shower which we love. Would give them 6 stars if possible.
3 months agoAfter seeing a ring of water on our ceiling on the first floor (from our second floor bathroom) we contacted Andy to come and take a look at what was going on. They found that there was a leak in our bathtub upstairs. With the leak his team also found a rusted galvanized pipe from the sink to the toilet that needed to be replaced. The vanity we had was not efficient or able to be reconnected to the new plumbing to bring it up to code, so we decided to replace the vanity and toilet upstairs as well. While we had the ceiling open they updated our water pressure. We updated the plumbing and toilet in the first floor bathroom to make sure that it was efficiently working and plumbed. In order to do the work upstairs his team needed to cut through the first floor plaster in the ceiling, and when work was completed he was able to help us with a contact who got the ceiling re-plastered and matching as close as possible to the other half of our family room on the first floor. This project from start to finish was just under 2 weeks and we now have a 126 year old home with updated plumbing. Andy's team (Andy, Chris, Beau, and Jeffrey) were all fantastic to work with and kept our house as clean as they could during this major update. Communication was always honest and open during the entire time with Andy. Cost was fair and his team was very knowledgeable with any questions we had. We would recommend and use Besch Plumbing in the future, for not only this current house, but for any other plumbing projects in the future! (Photos are: during project, new vanity, new toilets, and final ceiling after plastered)
3 years agoAbsolute Plumbing of Wisconsin, LLC
4123 W Pine St, Appleton, WI 54914, USA
(920) 757-7222My family and I moved to Appleton in late 2025 after a long career in the Air Force, and we of course didn't know anything about local plumbers. I asked ChatGPT for a few recommendations, and Absolute Plumbing was one of their top few picks. I was extremely pleased with Justin's initial safety inspection of our entire home, top to bottom. He fortunately confirmed that we had very few issues, other than the few concerns I already knew about. This was comforting because if Justin hadn't been the honest man he is, he could have tried to upsell me on unnecessary repairs and whatnot. Instead, he was kind, courteous, attentive to detail, and explained everything I needed to know about the few issues I'd called about, and with zero pressure. In this day and age, that is rare. He and Brendan were very courteous and professional when they installed two new toilets for us, and they left everything very clean and tidy. Both were very kind, and I enjoyed getting to know them. Lastly, I signed up for the Diamond club because it'll be comforting to have Absolute Plumbing "on speed dial" without extra service call fees if we ever have any issues, and their lifetime warranty on their installations is unbeatable. I'll be needing a new water heater soon and they'll be my go-to plumbers for sure. Bottom line: my family and I are very satisfied customers, and Justin and Brendan were absolutely outstanding.
3 months agoWe had our yearly maintenance check done as part of the Diamond program, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Mike and Justin were fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely thorough. They spent about two hours completing a full inspection, including flushing our water heater, checking all faucets, showers, toilets, outdoor water hookups, and more. They clearly explained all of their findings, walked us through recommendations, and provided options without any pressure. Pricing was very transparent and upfront, which we really appreciated. We ended up booking an additional service for a water filtration system. While the most expensive option wasn’t in our budget right now, they took the time to understand what we were actually looking for and found a solution that met our needs and our budget. They were also very respectful of our home, our pets, and our children, which means a lot to us. Overall, this was a great experience and exactly what you hope for from a maintenance program. Highly recommend!
4 months agoTodd and Seth were great! They installed my new dishwasher and got it up to code quickly and efficiently. They also recommended work that I would have never known about and will be using them for all those future projects. Also very professional and not pushy on additional work but laid it up nicely. Also highly recommend the Diamond Club! Great add-on for a first time home buyer who will need a consistent plumber to save on service call fees.

4 months agoWe found our forever plumber, won’t go anywhere else from now on. From the office staff to the 2 plumbers who have been on the job, we’ve had top notch service and communication. Carlton has been especially helpful; answers texts promptly and is a problem solver. Professional, intelligent and personable. Happy to provide a glowing review!

4 months agoProfessional Drain Cleaning in Appleton, Wisconsin
Appleton homeowners know that a clogged sink or a backed-up floor drain can happen at the worst possible time—often right before a big game or during a Fox River freeze. Whether you're in the historic neighborhoods near Lawrence University or a newer development on the north side, finding a plumber who can actually show up today is the real challenge. That’s where our unique service takes the stress out of your plumbing emergency.
Instead of you calling down a long list of plumbers hoping someone picks up, we do the legwork for you. We maintain a network of certified professionals across the Fox Cities and filter them based on your specific Appleton zip code. Most importantly, we call them to confirm they have an open slot and the right equipment for your specific drain issue before we connect you. It’s the fastest, most reliable way to get your pipes flowing again in Outagamie and Calumet counties.
Common Drain Issues in Appleton, Wisconsin
Hard Water Scale Buildup: Appleton’s water is known for its high mineral content. Over time, calcium and magnesium deposits can narrow your pipes, causing slow drainage and recurring clogs that standard DIY solutions simply can't dissolve.
Fox River Tree Root Intrusion: Many established Appleton neighborhoods feature beautiful, mature trees. Their roots are constantly seeking moisture and can easily infiltrate aging sewer lines, leading to major backups that require professional snaking or hydro-jetting.
Basement Floor Drain Backups: With the high water table and heavy seasonal rainfall we see in Wisconsin, basement floor drains are prone to backing up. If your floor drain is gurgling, it often signals a main line blockage that needs immediate attention to prevent basement flooding.
Kitchen Grease Clogs: During the cold Appleton winters, grease and fats poured down the drain solidify much faster in your pipes. This leads to stubborn obstructions that can completely shut down your kitchen sink during the busy holiday season.
Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for Appleton, Wisconsin
Spring Thaw Prep: As the Fox Valley snow melts, ensure your exterior drains and sump pump discharge lines are clear of debris to prevent basement flooding during heavy spring rains.
Winter Pipe Protection: Before the first deep freeze, disconnect garden hoses and blow out any exterior drainage lines. In Appleton, frozen exterior pipes can lead to interior pressure bursts and drainage failure.
Autumn Leaf Maintenance: Keep your gutters and outdoor perimeter drains clear of fallen leaves. Clogged outdoor drains can cause water to pool near your foundation, leading to seepage issues during the next storm.
Holiday Drain Care: With extra guests visiting for the holidays, remind everyone to avoid putting fibrous foods like potato peels or celery down the disposal, which are the leading cause of December service calls in Appleton.
Average Drain Cleaning Costs in Appleton, Wisconsin
Pricing for drain cleaning in Appleton typically depends on the location of the clog (secondary line vs. main sewer line) and the equipment required, such as motorized snaking or hydro-jetting.
Frequently Asked Questions about Drain Cleaning in Appleton, Wisconsin
How fast can a plumber get to my house in Appleton?
By filtering for technicians already in your specific Appleton zip code and calling to verify their current schedule, we aim to find professionals who can offer same-day service or emergency response.
Does hard water affect my drains in the Fox Cities?
Yes, Appleton's hard water contributes to mineral scale buildup. Regular professional cleaning helps remove these deposits before they turn into complete, expensive blockages.
Are the plumbers in your network licensed for Wisconsin?
Absolutely. We only work with certified, licensed, and insured plumbers who are familiar with Wisconsin’s specific plumbing codes and Appleton’s local infrastructure.
What if I have a drain emergency on a weekend?
Our service operates 24/7. We specifically call our Appleton network to find which technician is 'on-call' and ready to be dispatched to your location immediately, even on Sundays or holidays.
Is hydro-jetting better than snaking for Appleton homes?
For stubborn tree roots or heavy grease buildup common in older Fox River homes, hydro-jetting is often more effective, while simple clogs in newer construction are usually solved with professional snaking.
