Found them from Reddit! Called yesterday at 2:30pm and they were here at 9:30am this morning (it was non-emergent). The person on the phone has lots of great questions and helped with my anxiety about the situation, she was kind patient and told me exactly what was likely happening. They called before their arrival and Sam and Merrik were very kind! They answered all my questions and worked really hard to find the drain they needed to go through. They used a camera through the kitchen sink to find the proper drain which we found immediately under a stupid box, so they took the camera charge off our bill. They cleared the block and it was from a tree root, so they fixed the issue! Unfortunately they did break one of their blades in the pipe, but they discounted that time because it was "their mistake." I just felt like they were really trying to provide a kind and compassion service and were very honest. They didn't try to get a quick buck because I didn't know anything. Would recommend!! I haven't gotten my bill yet but they outlined how much I should expect.

Mark's Reddi Rooter saved our house! We contacted various other places(either no callback or completely booked) prior to making a call to Mark's Reddi Rooter which was recommended by a local company who was not able to help at the time.....as it was the weekend. Our drain had backed up into our basement and our toliet was overflowing. The technician arrived quickly and was very efficient in finding the problem right away. Top notch service, highly recommend!

We've had Roto Rooter do a yearly cleaning of our sewer line because of tree roots for many years. Today the sewer backed up and they couldn't get anyone out here until tomorrow (and we had our kids and grandkids coming that afternoon) So much for emergency service...Called Mark's and they had it fixed and out of here before everyone got here. I'll be having them do the yearly cleaning from now on (and so will our neighbor)!

Gregg completed a huge plumbing repair on my 115 year old house at the worst possible time. I had no choice but to make decisions on the spot based on his assessment . He was calm and had clearly tackled this level of sewer repair which involved jack hammering into my cement floor in December . What made me trust Gregg was he was not hyped, did not expand the project, met my deadline, and honest.

Got quotes from a handful of plumbers. Action's wasn't the lowest, but it was competitive. Ended up choosing them because of the places I called, they did the best job of connecting me to someone who could answer some questions I had about the project, and they were able to schedule it for the next day. The plumber, Trey, did a great job with the install, and also went above and beyond to answer a few other plumbing questions I had (and was spot on with his advice). Would recommend.

I will recommend Rodney’s service for his professional skills, expertise and friendliness. He was able to narrow our issue down to the exact location. His expertise and knowledge allowed us to solve an eight weeks on going issue in less than 2 hours. We paid a fraction of the projected price based on phone calls to similar businesses in our area. We required original pipes to be replaced in our home from the kitchen sink to a drain located under the basement floor (concrete). Avid was quick to respond and offer us options. They were patient while we shopped around and looked at potential remodel options. In the end, we only repaired what needed to be done. They honored the quote that was 2-3 months old by that point and coordinated repairs quickly. Finished everything in less than two days and left the area cleaner than before they arrived. Highly recommend.

Excellent work all around. From calling and speaking with Brian who was patient, helpful, and knowledgeable to Andrew our plumber and his assistant installing our water heater. Service was timely and price reasonable. Andrew also looked at a couple other small issues we had while he was here. He was very professional, efficient and kind! Phenomenal service! Our floor drain backed up Sunday night. I called Monday morning and they came out a couple hours later. Had the whole thing cleared out and working again in under an hour. Price was super reasonable. Highly recommend and will use again in the future if we have problems.

Started having odor and drain gurgling issues, so I contacted Madison Sewer & Drain Cleaning for an inspection. Showed me the root infiltration on camera and I agreed to a cleaning. Done within the hour. Courteous service and a very reasonable price!

The previous owners of our house had spray-foamed the basement floor-drain shut for some reason, which led to water build-up issues in our basement. Madison Sewer & Drain Cleaning came out within a day of when I called, removed and replaced the drain grate and cleaned out the drain for a very fair price. Water drains very quickly now! Ken also answered all of my questions about drain & sewer maintenance, and was very quick, friendly and professional. Using Madison Sewer & Drain Cleaning was a great experience and I will definitely reach out to them in the future with any drain/sewer issues.

I hired All Comfort to perform a furnace tune-up. The technician spent over an hour in the basement and then informed me that my heat exchanger was cracked, causing high CO levels, and that I would need a new furnace. I was scheduled for a follow-up appointment with a salesperson. When the paperwork arrived by email, there was no mention of a cracked heat exchanger, which immediately raised a red flag. To be sure, I contacted another HVAC company for a second opinion. Within minutes, the second technician discovered that my heat exchanger was not cracked at all.The real issue was that the gas pressure valve had been turned up, leading to the high CO readings. Not only was the initial diagnosis completely false, but I also doubt that All Comfort actually performed the tune-up I paid for. The condensate drain and pump, which were supposed to be cleaned, were clearly untouched (see photo). When I called to report what happened, All Comfort quickly refunded my money — which I appreciated — but I’m still out the cost of the second company’s visit. Had I not trusted my instincts and gotten a second opinion, I could have spent $5,000 unnecessarily on a new furnace I didn’t need. Hiring them for a “tune-up” turned into a very unnecessarily stressful experience

Great service and quick installation. We were happy to hire a local company with many years of service to our community. I took away 1 star only because there were a lot of screws left on the basement floor and some in the driveway. If we had gotten a screw in a tire that would have been an expensive fix. I would ask that the team do a more thorough cleanup when finished. But we are very happy with our new furnace.

Top notch company! Had Metro run a gas line from our basement up into our garage for a new heater. While doing that, had a plumbing issue pop up that was promptly fixed. Then discovered a small leak in the gas line that goes to our dryer — which was also fixed immediately. Very good communication & very professional - would recommend Metro to fix any plumbing needs!

Woke up this morning to find water heater had been leaking. EZ Plumbing was recommended by a friend. EZ came out to shut off the hot water and came back same day to install a new water heater. They were great to work with and reasonably priced. We will use them again and highly recommend them to others.

Our water heater died suddenly on Wednesday evening after everywhere was already closed. My husband spent Tuesday calling around for quotes and EZ Plumbing was the most affordable option in our area. Wow! Our tub/shower broke on a Friday just before a Monday holiday. I wasn't expecting a call until Tuesday, but first thing on Monday, I got a call from Ashley, who told me a plumber could come out today (MLK Day). A great plumber, Chuck, came out less than an hour later and got it fixed in just over an hour, which was fantastic! I previously had a great experience with Perzborn, and now I see again why they get such stellar reviews from so many people! It's clear why people are happy to refer Perzborn to others, and I will be doing this too.

Great experience! We contacted HJ Pertzborn when our disposal stopped working and we were scheduled for service quickly. Jake was great and not only fixed the issue, but took the time to teach me how to troubleshoot any future issues and gave me some tips for maintaining & cleaning the disposal.

We've used Monona for multiple issues - some plumbing needs and then most recently a water softener replacement. They've been fantastic to work with every time. They've come out quickly in emergency situations, been pleasant to work with, explained everything they were doing, and did high quality work. We needed a toilet replaced and some work on our water softener. These ended up getting done in two separate visits. Both plumbers were polite and on-time. The one working on our water softener took time to explain the work and give me some tips about using the water softener. They wore shoe covers and were nice to our cat :-)
