Top Rated Plumbers in North Charleston
Servant Plumbing of Mt Pleasant
802 Coleman Blvd Suite 207, Mt Pleasant, SC 29464, USA
(843) 534-5079I had a great experience with Servant Plumbing of Mount Pleasant! Mike was wonderful to speak with, and Dave came out to my property the next day after I called about a clogged shower drain that was backing up. He was professional, friendly and made sure everything else in my plumbing system was working properly, which gave me a peace of mind. I really appreciated their responsiveness and care. I’ll definitely be using them again in the future and highly recommend them to anyone in the area!
5 months agoAs a real estate broker in the area, I deal with a lot of house related issues with clients, etc. On a Sunday afternoon when we had snow and 20 degrees the day before, a pipe under my house busted, I turned the water off at the street, and proceeded to contact as many companies as I could. many called, couldn't get out as you can imagine, Servant was one of the Angi's list companies that called me, they said they could be out the next day between 7-9am. Which was faster than anyone else said they could. Giovanni showed up at 6:30, and within 15 mins, pipe was repaired (and this was under my house). Fair price, nice guy. I was very pleased, hence leaving this review. I will be using them again.
1 month agoI had an outstanding experience with Servant Plumbing and their workmanship was top-notch. I had my whole home repiped and replaced my water heater. Josh and his team were punctual, thorough, and committed to getting the job done right. Every time I called, they responded quickly and professionally. I'm extremely happy with the results and highly recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing services!

213 College Park Rd, Ladson, SC 29456, USA
(843) 790-9515It was a SATURDAY, Tyrese came stated a clog in line. 2.5 hours later said clog was cleared. It was a BIG MESS when he left. My bathroom was clean when he came, but when he left the dirty water had backed up in my shower, and was never checked before leaving. My toilet he had to pull, was placed with different bolts, but stated” he had no caps to replace my old ones. The floor and wall behind my toilet was sprayed with dirty water. Left with a disgusting mess. I’m a senior, and with health issues and to say I was happy would be a big story. Be careful who you use! I called office next Monday, and stated managers were out! Never received a call back to make it right.” No customer service”. Be careful who you hire!!!
6 months agoTyrese and Rodger were absolutely fantastic. They quickly identified a leak coming from our upstairs bathroom tub that was draining into the downstairs hallway and kitchen. They explained the issue clearly, worked efficiently, and had everything diagnosed and repaired the same day with zero issues. Professional, knowledgeable, and respectful throughout the entire process. I couldn’t be more impressed with their work and would highly recommend them to anyone needing reliable plumbing service. Thank you both for everything!
1 month agoI had an unexpected plumbing emergency when a pipe burst late on a Saturday night, and I am incredibly grateful for the outstanding service I received from 1-Tom-Plumber. From start to finish, everyone I interacted with was professional, kind, and truly committed to helping. Addison, the customer service representative, was wonderful. She immediately reached out to find someone who could assist and was so kind throughout the process. Austin arrived that night to handle the emergency and quickly got the water stopped—he was fantastic and brought a sense of calm to a stressful situation. The next day, Thomas and Dee came out and did an amazing job. I ended up needing a new water line, which meant digging, getting under the house, and a lot of hard work. They handled everything with skill and care, and I genuinely appreciate the effort they put into completing the job the right way. They will also be coming back to install a new water heater, and I feel confident the work will be just as solid. Lastly, Julie from customer service was also great. Her assistance and communication made the entire experience even smoother. I truly appreciate the prompt response, the hard work from everyone involved, and the way each person went above and beyond to help. I would absolutely recommend 1-Tom-Plumber—everyone was amazing!

(843) 410-6063We had our toilets and shower line clogged up to the point where we couldn't use them. I called Mr. Rooter and they sent out Zack who I've got to say was amazing. This guy is smart, he was very careful with everything he did. Zach is just a super nice guy and very skilled at what he does. I will definitely, absolutely ask for Zack the next time I need plumbing work done. Mr. Rooter really came through for me.
2 months agoEmergency service with main line clogged. Zack was there promptly. Found him very professional. Resolved the clog and explained thoroughly what was occuring. So we are equipped with important information on where the clog occurred, how it may return and what we should do to resolve permanently. Feel like Zack represented the company quite well.
1 month agoSuper quick, here the same day. Fixed the issue in 10 minutes. Awesome! Plumber was friendly and nice

(843) 847-6272Neal did all the plumbing for my home downtown which was a full construction job. He did an amazing job no issues and I’ve been in my home 3 years now. Very experienced! Even if it’s just declogging a drain. His pricing can’t be beat!
2 years agoNeal with Flow Pro Plumbing unclogged my kitchen sink . He was very professional and his customer service is awesome. I had 2 plumbers come out prior to his visit and they said I would have to get the lines jetted for $1000.00. He unclogged my sink in the first 30 min and did not over charge . He also gave me advice on how to keep it clear . He will be the first person I call in the future.
1 year agoI can’t praise this man enough for the work that he did on my shower . If you want a honest plumber and someone that won’t rip you off then Neal is who you want coming to your house or business . The company I called before him wouldn’t even fix my shower drain unless I spent 5k on all new plumbing but Neal knew exactly what to do after I sent him a few pictures and went straight to the problem & got it done within 45 minutes . He’s fast , efficient and very friendly. Neal will be my go to guy for any plumbing needs in the future . Thankyou so so much for all your help .

(843) 718-1838We had an emergency situation that required immediate repair. Sewer Daddy sent us an angel named Webb. (Austin) He calmly addressed the problem, assessed the damage, showed compassion while explaining the necessary repairs, efficiently fixed the leaks, and showed me the utmost kindness and respect in offering options and help with what should be done in the future for the longevity of our home. Ten of ten recommend Webb for the job. I will never call anyone else. Thank you Webb!!!
1 week agoThis was my first time using them and I am very pleased with the service. Manny showed up at the time scheduled and was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Will certainly use them next time I have a plumbing need for my hotel.

3 weeks agoLimRic Plumbing, Electrical, Heating & Air
4546 Dorchester Rd, North Charleston, SC 29405, USA
(843) 427-0817We have had a great experience with two of your technicians. Sterling C and Walter C are both really good at what they do. Sterling was out to clean and check out all of the HVAC system, he called with his findings and walked me through the entire process. This is a good dude and a real professional, I can go into more details if anyone is interested, top notch guy, trust me! Walter was by to tackle a plumbing issue that has been bothering us for a few years, and he did a fantastic job. It was clean, tasks were done quickly and he also kept me informed along the way with progress, price and images of the completed work. Our experience was great, and I am sure yours will be too.
1 week agoProject 1- Gas line to heater replaced. Work done quickly at a good price with excellent coordination with city and Dominion Energy. Tommy replaced the gas line and did a great job. Project 2- Shower/ bath replaced in 1945 house. Project was complicated by extensive water damage but LimRic did a phenomenal job. Kenny provided reasonable estimates while technician Trevon and apprentice Kevin completed the job on time and on budget.
4 months agoI had an excellent experience with my tankless water heater installation. The team was professional, efficient, and took the time to make sure everything was done right. When I later ran into a small issue, they followed up quickly and resolved it at no cost, which really speaks to their integrity and customer service. Phenomenal company, and my technician, Conrad, was just as phenomenal: knowledgeable, courteous, and thorough. Highly recommend.
1 week agoPalmetto Plumbing, Drain Cleaning & Water Heater Repair
835 Savannah Hwy Suite 209, Charleston, SC 29407, USA
(843) 738-1635I had an outstanding experience with Palmetto Plumbing and Drain when they installed my new toilet. They arrived right on time and were beyond professional from start to finish. We ran into some unexpected issues due to some gnarly root intrusion, which could have easily turned into a stressful situation. But huge shout out to Steve for sticking with the job and seeing it through without cutting corners. His patience was unmatched, and he came fully prepared with the right tools and parts ready to go. Despite the complications, Steve delivered a flawless installation. His expertise and dedication really showed, and he made sure everything was working perfectly before wrapping up. Because of Steve, I’d give Palmetto Plumbing and Drain 10 stars if I could. Highly recommend!
2 weeks agoI just had Palmetto Plumbing put in a new toilet for me, after a couple other unreliable plumbers failed to. As I run a business too, I know how difficult it is. So I appreciate their stellar service that much more. They were as punctual as possible, knowledgeable, tidy, efficient and courteous! I am glad I happened to find and follow up with them on this matter :)
4 months agoEmergencies always seem to happen on the weekend. Ours happened on Super Bowl Sunday and was a main water line issue flooding the area. Stephen from Palmetto Plumbing saved us. He arrived quickly and went right to work on the issue. He was efficient and an expert in the issue and the fix made our connectors stronger than the originals so this doesn’t happen again. He was also very personable and a pleasure to work with even though we interrupted his Sunday! The price was also very reasonable. We highly recommend their services.
1 month agoCharles Towne Plumbing
4952 Rivers Ave, North Charleston, SC 29406, USA
(843) 212-4111During the recent winter freeze, an exterior water line at my salon ruptured unexpectedly. Thanks to the flexibility of their 24-hour service line, I was able to secure a same-day appointment between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. After shutting off the water source myself, I felt confident that the turnaround time would minimize disruption to my business. To my surprise (and appreciation), I received a call an hour before the scheduled window to see if an earlier arrival would work. The service technician was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. He took the time to clearly explain the issue, the repair process, and the steps needed to ensure a long-lasting solution. From arrival to completion, the entire job was finished within an hour. Not only did he isolate and repair the problem efficiently, but he also improved the appearance and durability of the setup compared to how it was originally installed. He explained that the prior exposure and material choice were not ideal and reassured me that the corrective work he completed would hold up moving forward. Because of their prompt response and excellent service, I was able to reopen the salon for normal business hours the very next day. I truly appreciate the professionalism, efficiency, and quality of work, and I would highly recommend this company to anyone in need of reliable plumbing services.
1 month agoOur apartment is in the Charleston Historic District in a Historic Home with retro-fitted plumbing. We were grateful that you were able to quickly schedule an appointment for us. Your technician (Sean) was very professional, and polite. He was able to effectively diagnose the problem, repair the broken valve and replace the worn out faucet all on a, typically busy downtown, Friday. We are very pleased with the quality and efficiency of his work. Thank you so much.
2 weeks agoIf you are not sure about hiring the right plumber, hire these guys. I have several businesses and rentals in the area. Had a complex project to find a gas leak. After several plumbers taking a look and trying to upsell me on things I didn't need I found these guys. First positive sign was when I called the business answered and not some outsourced call center. This was great because I was able to tell her my exact concerns so we didn't waste time. Will came in and was open and honest about pricing and what is needed. Ended up doing the job half the price of what two other competitors quoted. This is my plumber now. Couldn't be happier with their work.
1 week agoBlue Collars | Charleston Plumbing and HVAC
2157 Rich St, Charleston, SC 29405, USA
(843) 375-6680Today I was blessed by the presence of Felix and Allen when my apartment complex had an issue with my water heater. I was worried I would have to wait forever long for it to be replaced but they handled it with efficiency!! They were great conversationalists! Not only in explaining what they were doing, but overall just talking w us while they were working. When i am one-day (hopefully) a future homeowner, I will be reaching out to this company and hopefully Allen and Felix for all my plumbing needs 🥰
6 months agoSpencer came out to fix a dripping issue with my shower where water was constantly coming from the faucet, and he also repaired a couple of faucets around the house. He was on time, professional, and explained what was causing the problem in a way that made sense. I really appreciated how honest he was about the work and pricing. He got everything fixed quickly and made sure it was done right before leaving. Great experience overall — I’d definitely recommend him to anyone needing plumbing work.
1 month agoHighly recommend Blue Collars. Plumbing and HVAC doesn’t matter. They always bring their A game. Andrew, Jordan, and Mark came out today to swap out an old HVAC system for us. As always they performed the scope of work with the upmost professionalism and talent possible. Reasonable prices for exceptional work. Great group of people.
1 month agoKinsmen Service Pros
133 Elliana Way B2, Summerville, SC 29483, USA
(843) 212-1309I had to have a full sewer line replacement at Christmas time, everyone's favorite present., right?! But Bryce at Kinsmen was a real gift! He was professional, on top of every move- setting up the eval and the actual work day, calls were answered immediately, he was extremely helpful and polite! The price was beyond reasonable for what all needed to be done, the job was planned and done quickly and efficiently. I truly could not be happier with their service. I even had a question after the job was done and Bryce called me back immediately. The professionalism, the pride in his job, and true care about making the customer happy is why I am leaving this review! Well done, Kinsmen. You have landed yourself a very happy and loyal customer!
1 month agoThis is the 2nd time that I've used Kinsman. The first time, they installed my whole home water system. Today, they replaced for toilets that I purchased. They did an excellent job and I would continue to use their services. I was going to cancel my services with them because I received a quote at half of what they were charging me. But thankfully, the owner told me what to ask for from the other company. And they were not able to furnish proof. While it's understandable to want to spend less, trust me folks, less isn't always more. We preferred to stay with Kinsman and have the piece of mind knowing that if something went wrong with the installation, they would be able to cover it.
6 months agoWe are the owners of local water well company, Sanders Deep Well Inc. We run into a lot of customers who need plumbing services rather than well services. We refer Kinsmen to all of those customers. Bryce responds promptly and our customers rave about their services. Customers call back just to tell us how well they did and how prompt they were. Further confirming our decision in the business relationship we carry with Kinsmen. They are an honest, fair, and knowledgeable team. Sanders Deep Well will refer them again and again. Thank yall for all that you do.
1 month agoProfessional Drain Cleaning in North Charleston
Dealing with a stubborn clog in North Charleston shouldn't involve hours of frustrating phone calls. Whether you are located near the busy corridors of Rivers Avenue or in the quiet residential pockets near Park Circle, a backed-up sink or overflowing toilet needs immediate attention. The Lowcountry's unique environment, from its sandy soil to its historic infrastructure, requires a plumber who understands local piping systems. Our service takes the guesswork out of home repairs. Instead of leaving you to call every plumber in the tri-county area, we scan our network of certified North Charleston technicians, filtering them by your specific zip code. We then take the extra step of calling them ourselves to verify they have a technician available to reach your home today. By the time we connect you, you can rest assured that help is actually on the way.
Common Drain Issues in North Charleston
In many older North Charleston neighborhoods, invasive root systems from majestic Live Oaks and Loblolly Pines are a primary cause of sewer line backups. These roots seek out moisture and can easily penetrate small cracks in aging clay or cast-iron pipes, leading to recurring blockages that require professional hydro-jetting.
North Charleston’s proximity to the coast means we deal with sandy soil that can shift during heavy South Carolina rainstorms. This shifting can cause 'bellies' or low spots in your drain lines where debris collects, eventually leading to a complete stoppage that traditional DIY methods can't fix.
With the humid subtropical climate of the Lowcountry, grease and organic matter in kitchen drains can solidify quickly. For residents in the high-traffic areas near the airport or the Tanger Outlets, hard water minerals common in the region can also build up inside pipes, narrowing the flow and causing slow drainage throughout the home.
Heavy coastal rain and storm surges often put pressure on North Charleston’s municipal sewer systems. If your home’s backwater valve is failing or you have a localized clog, these storms can cause nasty backups into your tubs and toilets, requiring a 24-hour emergency response to prevent water damage.
Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for North Charleston
Spring: Before the heavy South Carolina thunderstorm season kicks into high gear, ensure your outdoor area drains and yard grates are clear of pine needles and mulch to prevent localized flooding.
Summer: With more people home and frequent 'Lowcountry boils,' be extra careful about what goes down the disposal. Corn husks, potato peels, and seafood shells are common culprits for summer clogs in North Charleston kitchens.
Fall: As the humidity drops, it is a great time to have your main sewer line inspected. Clearing out any root growth accumulated over the growing season can prevent a major backup during the busy holiday hosting months.
Winter: While North Charleston rarely sees deep freezes, sudden cold snaps can cause older pipes to contract and leak. Keep an eye on your crawlspace for any signs of dampness or slow-draining exterior lines during January and February.
Average Drain Cleaning Costs in North Charleston
The cost of drain cleaning in North Charleston typically depends on the location and severity of the clog. A simple sink or tub snake is on the lower end, while main sewer line clearing or hydro-jetting services fall on the higher end of the spectrum.
