We had a great experience with Daniel's Plumbing. We needed several things repaired in a relative's home in Northeast Philadelphia (Bell's Corner). They had a clogged sinks, toilets, tub/shower, and a stationary tub in disrepair. The owner (Dan) came out promptly and provided an estimate of what it would cost to make the needed repairs and the timeline. During the estimate Dan identified a couple major items that we didn't realize. He also explained some possible areas where his team could run into trouble and our options. Dan took the time to explain the details and make sure we were informed every step of the way. When clearing one of the drains, Dan's team identified that a drain was broken under ground. He and his team offered options for how we could rectify the issue properly while keeping the cost fair. No one looks forward to calling a plumber, but I will say that Dan and his team did excellent work - and I'm happy we called him. The team was professional, communicative, and fair priced. Daniels came to one of my properties and installed a toilet that another plumber previously kept telling me was the entire sewer line that had to be replaced. Come to find out there was a toy lodged inside of it. They were able to retrieve the object but the guys who came were so honest I decided to just get a new one installed. Daniel came out to a clogged drain, that another plumber tried unsuccessfully to clear the day prior, and had it flowing like new within the hour. He was very clean, leaving no mess or trace behind. I called Mike on a Sunday Morning with my drain issue. Him and his partner Stefan came right out to my house in a few hrs. Immediately identified the issue with my clog. Although the price he quoted me was great for a on the spot service I unfortunately couldn't afford it today. He was more than understanding and directed my husband on what to do to clear the drain. Mike didn't charge me anything to come out today which was amazing I never expected that to be the case especially on the weekend. I highly recommend this company for any plumbing needs. I needed a major job done and they came in significantly lower on their quote than another company. The job was well staffed and arrived before 8am. They had 2 teams working simultaneously in the basement and outside to replace my entire sewer line. They restored my water the same day and cleaned up well. They came back the next day and cemented the entire length of my basement. They didn’t have to, but were super kind in hooking my utility sink and washer back up and made sure it worked. They were pleasant and worked well with each other and it felt like they wanted to be there which makes the whole experience a lot easier. Additional plus is they accept credit card payments.

Goodman is my go to plumber. They ran new water and sewer to my subdivided carriage house 3 years ago. A big job that was done well. Today they at no charge repaired a bad washer in the meter pit(which really was the responsibility of the water company but would have been garden to get them out timely). I appreciate them. With it getting cold now the water running down the driveway would have caused a safety hazard if I waited for the water dept. I am a realtor and often refer them to clients who have plumbing needs.

Had a really positive experience with Goodman the other week. They sent Zac out to my home to do various jobs. I'm only coming on here to say not only was my experience positive; I'm really impressed. I hired them for a service and zac made me feel like I was getting more than just plumbing. He was clear, concise, and to the point. Not only did he do an amazing job, he left the place cleaner than what he walked into. I felt like I got my moneys worth plus more. He even followed up with a text a few days after to make sure all was well. I appreciate zac and Goodman. Price of the job was fair. I know this because I got 4 other estimates. If you want great work at a FAIR price, these are your guys.

These people are the BEST!!! Let me just tell you... Next to your house actually burning down (God Forbid), the only thing worse is having to replace the entire sewer line. Especially in an older row home. And even that's debatable, because at least Homeowner's covers a fire. LOL So when my 75 year-old Sewer line was found to have collapsed, I did not take it well. I needed a whole new stack and line, from the back of my finished basement, through the wall, my concrete stoop, under the shared walk and front lawn, and finally out to the city main. Nightmare Scenario. I got several quotes for both the excavation, line replacement, and the concrete chip and repour. None of the other contractors even came close to P&A's prices and turn-around times. (the ones who even bothered to call back that is.) P&A held my hand throughout the entire process. Very empathetic, but shot me straight on the options. The PM (Mary) and foreman (Christian) laid out a comprehensive plan, provided financing sources, took care of all the permits and utility mapping, and called me every day with progress reports, photos, and next-day planning. If you've ever seen what it takes to replace a sewer line in an older row house, you know it takes so much drilling, demo, and excavation that it literally looks like a bomb hit the front lawn and came out the rear of the basement. However... Regardless of the mountains of Earth, boulders of concrete, and gaping trenches necessary to get the job done, P&A made sure my handicapped neighbor (wheelchair), her caregiver's, and my elderly Aunt were never inconvenienced. The crew took meticulous care to install and reinstall both fixed and leveled walking boards in both my basement and on our shared walk, EVERY DAY during the project. They didn't just make it "safe enough," but rather, the way you'd do it yourself for your own family, especially per the special needs. Once the last of the concrete was poured and finished, they leveled and put my front lawn as back to normal as humanly possible, put the basement wall and soffit back together, reattached my slop sink, and, save for a few carpet tiles that couldn't be saved after the interior dig, my fully finished basement was also completely restored just as it was before. Like it never happened... (except for my shiny, new stack.) lol. Hands-down, the best customer service, workmanship, and genuinely good people I've had the pleasure of dealing with in a very ling time, if "ever" in fact. Thank you so much, P&A.

I can’t recommend P&A enough. They are the only company I call for work in my house from a leaking overflow, fixing and replacing portions of an old sewer stack, and even going through the concrete of our basement floor to fix piping issues. They are professional, prompt, and most importantly honest. They will tell you exactly what to expect and keep you updated as work is being completed. I was in need of a plumber and quick after a pipe burst in my garage. I called a neighbor who recommended P&A. They had availability the same day, did good work, and most importantly did not price gauge me because I needed the work done on the same day. Mary couldn’t have been more helpful and she had someone at my house within a half hour of the call. It was almost magical. I highly recommend them!

We didn’t have much complaint about the plumber himself—he did his job in identifying the leak issue. However, my company experienced one of the worst customer service interactions we’ve had in a long time. After opening the ceiling, the team removed and discarded the drywall pieces, which made restoration much more difficult. When I asked about this, the customer service representative claimed the drywall “crumbled into small pieces” on the spot even without checking with anyone - and which was clearly not the case as seen in the picture. What was most frustrating wasn’t just the issue itself, but the dismissive response. A simple, respectful reply like “we’ll check with the technician and get back to you” would’ve been enough. Instead, I was told to “go read the agreement you signed.” That kind of response shows a clear lack of care for the customer experience. Unfortunately, this interaction left the impression that this is not a customer-focused business.

Plumbing Pals came through for us during a true emergency with frozen pipes, right as new tenants were moving in the next day. They were responsive, professional, and got the issue resolved quickly under tight timing. The quality of the work was excellent, and communication throughout was solid. I’d absolutely use them again and would recommend them without hesitation.

I called Plumbing Pals and I was impressed when they scheduled me for that morning. Anthony was friendly, professional, and clearly knew exactly what he was doing. He quickly diagnosed the issue, explained what was wrong in simple terms, and had the faucet fixed in no time at all. No mess, no unnecessary upselling – just fast, efficient service. The price was very reasonable too – definitely felt like good value for the quick resolution and quality work.

Awesome plumber. Tony came out on short notice after communicating via text. He accurately diagnosed a failed sump pump, and then returned to replace the broken part. He did exactly what he said he would do, and the price was fair. Tony's a true professional, and he was nice to hang out with. Strongly recommend.

Tony was polite, professional, and prompt in providing us service and was the only one who could help us during the emergency. We had a frozen pipe burst that was flooding our basement. We needed to shut off the water but couldn't do it from inside the house so I put in a service request with PWD that never got submitted apparently. After multiple calls, they finally came and told us they couldn't shut off the water without a shutoff notice or defect notice, only to issue us a defect notice minutes later. I called Tony and he came out the same day and was able to shut off the water in minutes. He is very communicative, responsive and efficient and not to mention, affordable! We had called a few different plumbers and they wanted to charge way more and we'd have to wait at least a day or two to get assistance. Thank you Tony!!

We had to call for emergency service over the weekend because our water heater’s pilot light went out. Tony came out quickly, and the emergency fee was very reasonable. He was friendly, explained everything he was doing, and really took the time to figure out the issue. A few days later, our hot water is still working perfectly! I’d definitely recommend this company and will keep them in mind for any future plumbing needs.
