Expert Drain Cleaning in Lancaster, PA

Our garage started flooding at 4am as I was taking my wife to the airport. Turned off the water, drove her there, then came home and called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing and they said they’d be here today ASAP. They had someone on their way here by 10am the same morning, and by noon I had running water again. My technician, Matt, was my hero today. Nothing surprised him, he knew exactly where to look and what to do, and even unclogged the drain just because water was draining slowly. He was patient, informative, and clearly knew his stuff. That made me feel immediately confident, and he got it all done promptly and answered every question. Someone please give that guy a raise. Great service, great turnaround time, and a terrible Saturday that they turned into a grateful Saturday.

Todd did a fantastic job when he came out. He explained the process of the work he was doing and was very thorough to ensure it was done correctly. They timely sent out a crew to dig up the pipe that was causing problems. Everyone was very kind and hard working. They were even careful to leave our sidewalk intact, when we had anticipated it being demolished.

Hector did a fantastic job! Replaced all copper lines, replaced all shut off valves, rerouted a few lines that were not in code, replaced main shut off valve coming in from the street, replaced kitchen faucet, installed a new garbage disposal unit. The list goes on! Now we have peace of mind with no worries on plumbing issues. GREAT JOB!!!

We highly recommend Joe the Plumber. Joe came out for an after-hours emergency call. He was responsive, direct, swift in diagnosing the issue, and helpful in making a referral when his equipment couldn't reach the blockage. He stayed on to explain the issue to the next plumbing crew and make sure we were in good hands. His team has also been out for prior (non-urgent) issues. Always helpful, always effective. This is the plumber to call!

Joe is awesome! We had a basement sewer pump that would not shut off. It wasn't an emergency, but Joe was still able to schedule within a week, and had the service done quickly, and taught me what to look for if it ever happened again. Great prices, awesome people!

I strongly and without reservation recommend Joe the Plumber. I had a back up in a basement drain and he was not only incredibly quick to come out, but was on time, courteous, very competent and his rates were outstanding. He understands customer service and cares about the quality of his work. I am usually suspect of 5 star reviews, but he earned it. The hardest and scariest part for me, even having worked in the trades, is knowing I don't know what the possible problems are and you have to trust the person who you're hiring. The basement main line was snaked and cleaned and the problem fixed in under 2 hours. I have a new go to plumber hands down!

We had just moved into the house and we had a whole house backup. Called our home warranty company, they sent a guy out from another company to run the snakes. One of our toilet flushed still caused the floor drain in the utility room to bubble. The fella suggested we reach out to a service line specialty company that has a camera to further inspect. We got R&B's name from a family member who recommended them. They scheduled and came out first thing the next day. They brought their camera, and quickly found the issue. They said they'll write up their report and have a quote to us within a few days. As promised, we got an email with the details. Prices were very reasonable, and thank goodness we had service line coverage with our homeowners policy (if you're reading this, go make sure your policy has that coverage!), which helped with the cost. They came out on the scheduled date and time, and worked throughout all morning and a good chunk of the afternoon to dig into our garage, remove the collapsed pipe, replaced it, poured concrete, and smooth everything out. They even had drop clothes on our floors as they needed to access our electrical panel a few times and put up plastic covering on the walls and belongings in the garage. It's been about a month since and very happy with everything!

These guys were great. They let me observe the whole process, and although replacing a sewer line is an expensive job, their price was very reasonable given ALL the work they had to do (excavation, plumbing, replacing concrete etc.). R&B are real pros!

Unprofessional, un-empathetic and combative! My father is very sick and instead of listening to my father regarding cancelling the service call and providing any type of service, they screamed at him and told him he would be charged a service call fee. Once the invoice was received, we tried reaching to this horrible company and all their lines were “busy” even though the website states they are “open 24 hours 8 days a week”?!?!?!

Did a Google search because of having a sewer clog. They were able to come out the next day! They truly have excellent customer service, which is hard to find now a days. The price was better then I expected it would be. I definitely will call them again if I need any service they offer. Highly recommend!

Despite a raw,rainy day, Nick arrived on time and completed the job that involved outside as well as inside work. He wore shoe covers and laid out a heavy tarp before doing any work. Not a speck of dust or any other trace he was here. Ranck Plumbing has always been reliable. Thanks Nick.

I highly recommend participating in the maintenance program. We had to get a new furnace and AC unit, during a cold snowy weekend we cuddled in blankets and an electric space heater. Our water heater was not heating and was leaking alot. Gabe came out the same day and clearly explained what needed to be done and some options that we had. The pricing was upfront and clear, and it included all taxes and fees so there was no miscommunication. It was a difficult install due to the tight space where the water heater was placed. Gabe recommended that we install a pressure regulator which was also in a tight space. Once a selection was made, a second technician came out to deliver the equipment and they had it all installed within a few hours. They cleaned up after themselves and the install looks very professional. I’m happy with the service and will definitely be using Neffsville again.

Our aging high velocity central air system failed and we needed a new heating and cooling system in our home. We had several companies come out and give estimates for replacement systems but in the end we selected Lancaster Plumbing, Heating, Cooling and Electrical (LPHCE) and I am so glad that we did. LPHCE did an excellent job for us from start to finish. Our initial contact Ian supplied us with a wealth of knowledge regarding what our options were moving forward. He took the time to answer all of our questions and made sure to have multiple estimates drawn up before he left our property. He also kindly made himself available via text messaging when we had more questions later regarding our options. The estimate that we received was very fair and I got the sense that LPHCE was going to do everything that they could to secure our business. After considering our options we decided to have mini split heat pumps installed. Ian came out to our property again, this time with installation specialist Rick. They helped us finalize our plans for the installation and directly addressed a few lingering concerns that we still had. A week or so later a well organized installation team made short work of the project over the course of two days. While all of the techs assigned to the job were professional and courteous a special shout out goes to Ben for going up into the attic area and out on the roof to get the job done right. The end result is a system that operates as good as it looks. We are anticipating many comfortable years in our home thanks to the efforts of everyone at LPHCE. We plan to call on them in the future for our heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical needs. I submit this review as a hardy recommendation to try out their services, particularly if you are in the market for a new heating and cooling system. They are family owned and locally operated. Most importantly they cared about doing the job, and they cared about doing it right.

Mike D. was excellent. He was punctual, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. I honestly have nothing bad to say. To be transparent, I had another plumbing company out prior to this visit, and while the outcome ended up being the same, I didn’t get the best vibes. Mike was the complete opposite. He took the time to explain everything clearly and thoroughly, which made a huge difference. Despite the cold weather, Mike went outside and removed the vent cap from the pipe in our front yard. He explained that it wasn’t technically up to code, and once he educated me on why, I completely agreed. He then had me flush a toilet so he could watch the water flow and reassured me that everything was moving properly — even showing me visually, which I really appreciated. He made a simple but effective fix by adding ventilation holes to the cap, secured it back in place, and then walked through the house with me one last time. He flushed the toilets again and explained that the remaining issue is the roof vent pipe being covered in snow and ice. I felt very confident in Mike’s work, his explanations, and his professionalism. I would absolutely recommend him and would not hesitate to call again.

She guided me through the process of intake and setup of service. I could tell she cared about her job and helping others. Today technician Mike D. was dispatched to our house. He was so easy to work with. He had a few questions, took a look at our problem and said what he was going to. He didn’t start anything without clearly stating what he was going to do and made my husband and I feel like he really wanted to fix the problem. At no point did I feel pressure or upselling. we've relied on anthony & sons plumbing for all our plumbing and heating needs for several years now, and they always deliver top-notch service at unbeatable prices. norman has handled everything from annual boiler maintenance and installing a new boiler and burner, to putting in a new hot water tank, capping off gas lines, and fixing leaks. we're even planning to have our well tank replaced soon. even when we've needed to make changes to our original plans, norman has managed to get everything installed quickly—sometimes just days after we called. the quality of the work is excellent, and we've never had any issues. truly one of the best plumbing teams in lancaster!

Gerald did an excellent job with our plumbing project in Lancaster. He installed a tankless water heater, updated all the piping, and moved the water heater to a better spot in our home. Gerald carefully explained the different options available and made sure we understood why certain choices were best for our situation. He made sure everything was up to code and finished the work quickly and neatly. We really appreciated that he even came out on a Saturday to make sure we had hot water again as soon as possible. We had an emergency lastnight and called houseal plumbing ..they came out and found that the sewer pipe was broken outside under the sidewalk..they came back this morning and fixed the problem..the guys did an amazing job. Both last night and today. I highly recommend them. THANK YOU..

I had this company come out to replace our Sump pump. The price was fine and they did the job however we asked them to take a look at our shower as the water pressure was extremely low and hard to control the temperature. They informed me they would need to order a shower cartridge and call me the following Monday to set up an appointment to have it changed. No call came Monday, I called them the next day to see if they had an update and they said the service manager would call me later that day, no call came Tuesday. I called again Thursday and was told again a service manager would call me later that day to set up an appointment, no call came Thursday. I called the next Monday and Wednesday and were told the same thing each time. Its one thing to have to wait for a part to come in, but to completely lie to a customer and leave them in the dark regarding a request is crazy business practice even if the part is delayed you need to set reasonable expectations for your customers, I would suggest you don't trust this business to keep their word.
