Clog Pro Plumbing & Drain
833 SE Main St Mailbox 210, Portland, OR 97214, USA
(503) 479-8168We had a clogged kitchen sink. I tried to unclog it but it turned out it was more than I could fix. We had someone out the next day after I called around 4pm. The person who came was polite and used a very long pipe snake to get to and fix the clog. The whole job was done professionally. I would have no hesitation in having any other plumbing work done by the operator who fixed our drain. The appointment was set up quickly and I was given a time for someone to show up. I was called about 20 minutes before the plumber arrived to let me know when he was coming. I was very satisfied with the work and process.
3 months agoGabe and partner were both super friendly and fixed the leak in less than an hour! I have used ClogPro in the past and I've been very happy with them. I highly recommend Gabe and ClogPro! 👍

18744 Allegheny Dr, Oregon City, OR 97045, USA
(971) 255-8171I heard about Tyler via a neighbor who also had work done on one of their drain pipes. He answered my call immediately and booked an appointment for just a few days later. He arrived at the scheduled time, diagnose the issue and did as much work as possible. Due to the unique complexity of the issue, he recommended another repair service to complete the repair. He went so far as to call them to explain the issue. The work that he did get done was professional efficient, and well executed.

3 months agoPerfect Service Plumbing and Drain Cleaning
1011 SE Oak St, Portland, OR 97214, USA
(503) 964-4000We used Perfect Service Plumbing and Drain Cleaning for a small repair at our rental home and had a great experience. Mike and Joey were fantastic. They responded within about an hour of our call and had the issue fully fixed the same day. What really stood out was their professionalism and responsiveness. When something goes wrong, timing matters, and they handled everything quickly and efficiently. On top of that, the price was very reasonable. I honestly expected to pay more for such fast service. It’s refreshing to find a company that shows up when they say they will, does quality work, and charges fairly. I highly recommend Perfect Service Plumbing and Drain Cleaning.
3 months agoMike is hands down the best plumber I’ve ever worked with. Not only is he incredibly skilled and reliable, but he’s also just a great person. He recently helped with a full re-pipe and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Whether it’s installing a new water heater, fixing a drain clog, or handling a major plumbing issue, Mike always gets the job done right. He’s honest, knowledgeable, and truly cares about his work. If you need a top-notch plumber, I highly recommend Perfect Service!
1 year agoMike was very personable and approached my repipe project with professionalism. He pointed out all the areas of my home that would be affected; I think we only missed one which was in the garage. He did two walk-throughs and really helped me understand what needed to be relocated so his crew would have ample room to work. Unfortunately, and this is hard to even write since I imagined a much different outcome, quite a few parts of this project are still incomplete as of today and it has been 4 weeks. Mike promised a final walk through and so far he has not reached out. I also feel the crew didn't leave my home as they found it. Quite a bit of debris was leftover (inside and out) and they even drilled a new hole in my bathroom floor when the route should've been through the wall, which was confirmed during the walk-through. And yes, I know changes can come about but no one ever came to me to discuss. They just took the path of least resistance. Most of the incomplete work I ran across initially I put into a document for Mike to review. He thanked me for that and promised the tasks would be taken care of. Several were not -- which included easy stuff like making sure the new fixtures were properly caulked and also secure within the walls. One amazing thing his tech Joey did was completely install my new dishwasher. My home was subject to water damage last September and I've been doing dishes in my bathroom because I only have half a kitchen. This was a wonderful surprise.

4 months agoFirst time using Pacific Plumbing. Front office got us scheduled quickly. Greg did a great job clearing a kitchen clog. He explained what he was doing, took time to clean up and didn’t overcharge me. We will call them again when we need a plumber. 👨🔧
4 months agoNick from Pacific Plumbing and Drain was fantastic!!! He was extremely professional, and took the time to explain everything to us in perfect detail. He discussed our options and helped us devise a plan to move forward. We felt well informed and educated in the process. And he had a kind and pleasant demeanor to boot. We asked for his card and will definitely be reaching out again to complete the repair to our water heater... and any other future plumbing needs. Thank you!!!
6 months agoCornel's Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning
14271 NW Science Park Dr, Portland, OR 97229, USA
(503) 523-4854Eric did a great job of cleaning three bathroom sink drains. He was friendly, courteous, efficient, on time, and he was able to do his work neatly and without our having to move things out of his way. Juan, who was also very friendly and courteous, diagnosed and efficiently replaced a part in one toilet and looked at our water heater. He also did a great job and provided a quote for a possible future water heater replacement. I highly recommend Cornel's.
3 months agoExcellent service!!!! 5 stars! Juan got rid of are old hot water heater (2008) and replaced it with a new high efficiency one. Replaced all the corroded plumbing and old ball valves, as well. Friendly, fast and efficient just like our new water heater. Highly recommend this team at Cornell’s.
4 months agoCornell‘s plumbing provided an excellent service and experience for us. We took advantage of a water heater service special. Kevin Van Dyke serviced our exterior tankless Gas hot water heater. He was personable and very professional. Kevin explained exactly what he was going to do and even gave professional tips on how to care for our hot water heater and keep our plumbing system clean and flowing. He even provided pictures and video of his work to further prove his honest and thorough expertise. I would trust Kevin to service our system again… he was great! Thank you Kevin Van Dyke and Cornel’s Plumbing.
3 months agoAlchemy Plumbing & Drain Cleaning
6615 SW McEwan Rd, Lake Oswego, OR 97035, USA
(971) 417-2081The two technicians were Brody Diaz De Leon and the other gentleman, whose name I did not catch. The repair involved replacing a 4-inch building drain that had already been agreed upon. They cut out and removed the 4-inch-long ABS 90. Once removed, they installed a new glue coupling a new 4-inch long-term ABS 90. The technicians from Alchemy are always polite and always efficient. In the last few months, we had a leaking pipe in the ceiling that was fixed, and then the main waterline in the crawlspace of our house was also fixed. When they came to do that second repair, they pointed out that the 4-inch building drain needed to be repaired. So that’s what they repaired today. I hope I don’t see them for a while, not because of their work. Their work is fantastic, but because I hope we don’t have any more leaks in the near future in our home, the next time I do need some plumbing work done, I always know who to call, and that’s Alchemy Plumbing. I included a few photos for reference. Highly recommend them for any plumbing work; they are reliable, honest, and thorough every time.
7 months agoWow this company is amazing. My husband worked with a guy named Sean who was very knowledgeable and helpful. We just bought our house and had a propane tankless water heater that wasn’t installed properly and the thing was having mini explosions…. Like idiots we still waited to get a better quote etc because it was not cheap. Finally we decided to bite the bullet and we got them out here to install a new tankless heater with the propane conversion. The two guys the sent were so lovely, Josh and Spencer were absolutely kind, respectful, knowledgeable, provided details and happily answered questions. They were thorough and clean. The equipment was properly installed and set up nicely with great attention to detail. Honestly I cant come up with a single area for any improvement. Maybe cost? But honestly that’s what you pay for and these things aren’t cheap. I’m glad we went with this company and will be returning.
4 months agoJohn was on time, thorough in his work, and did a great job. I have pvcp piping and hate any job where I have to mess with it. After a nightmare event with a washer repair man that ended in months of repair work from the pipes he broke, it was worth every penny to have Alchemy complete the new task. The piece of mind knowing I had a licensed plumber on the job was priceless. Alchemy communication was prompt and continued throughout the entire process, from scheduling to completion. I would highly recommend them and will use them again with confidence. Thanks, John! Nice work.
6 months agoHenco Plumbing Services
1801 SE Grand Ave STE 110, Portland, OR 97214, USA
(971) 307-3733Michael with Henco did an excellent job. I had a backup in my basement and Michael called to let me know he was on the way. He arrived promptly and got right to work to find my issue. He was able to find the blockage, get it scoped and communicated the issue with me right away. He explained everything and was able to schedule a follow up service with me immediately. Great communication, prompt and clean service.
8 months agoWe had an issue with the grinder in our below-level bathroom. We called Henco and they sent someone to take a look. Michael came out to inspect our issue. He was prompt, thorough, and informative. He inspected everything and was able to diagnose the issue, show us the problem, and provide us options. We decided to schedule the work and he was able to work and get a time that worked well for us in light of our situation and schedules. I would recommend Michael and Henco.

14900 SW Barrows Rd #204, Beaverton, OR 97007, USA
(503) 883-8035Absolutely fantastic service from beginning to end ! We replaced our 23 year old Central Air unit and furnace. AC died two summers ago and I refused to do a third summer with portables. Nobody really wants to spend this kind of money, so it was important to not only get several quotes, it was important for us to get a feel for the people representing the company we went with. Tyler came out and was very thorough in creating a quote that fit our needs. He explained our options and a timeline that worked perfectly for us. I had no reason not to trust what he was telling us. Today Jairo and Julian spent a full workday inside, outside ( on and off rain) and even under our house. They were polite, efficient, and patient with our pack of dogs who wanted to investigate them every single time they saw them. The guys absolutely left everything immaculate and taught us how to use the new thermostat they installed. We notice an immediate difference in the heating and cooling in the house as they tested both. I suspect we will see a noticeable difference on our monthly bills for electricity and gas with these upgrades. That definitely helps take the sting out of spending adult money. Many thanks to Tyler, Jairo and Julian! Job well done.
3 months agoVery professional and friendly. Took the time to explain everything to us and had the new furnace in and running within few hours. Thank you so much for your professionalism!
3 months ago⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We recently had a new furnace installed, and the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. The team arrived on time, explained the process clearly, and worked efficiently and professionally throughout the installation. They took great care to keep the area clean and made sure everything was working perfectly before they left. The new furnace is running quietly and has already made a noticeable difference in comfort and efficiency. It’s clear the installers take pride in their work and truly care about customer satisfaction. We couldn’t be happier with the service and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a furnace installation. The TEAM: Dan Bloomfield - The service technician that discovered the need for our new furnace. He was extremely efficient and did a great job and explaining what the situation was. David Nelson - Sales - We really appreciated the time and effort that David spent with us in explaining the various options and benefits of the different systems. He was able to address all our questions and concerns - even after he got home and was enjoying his Chick-fil-A dinner. Sammy Sargent - Head of the Installation Team. Sammy‘s crew was unbelievable – they were very efficient, professional, and extremely friendly. I’m sorry I don’t remember the names of his crew, but I hope he passes this information onto them. Job well done!!
5 months agoWild Pine Plumbing
7027 S Macadam Ave, Portland, OR 97219, USA
(503) 594-4779We had an excellent experience with Wild Pine Plumbing during our kitchen remodel. They relocated our kitchen sink and did a thorough inspection of the existing plumbing while they were here. They identified potential drainage issues that could have caused problems down the road and updated all of the plumbing in our basement to ensure everything was functioning properly. They also added the proper venting to our plumbing system, which completely eliminated the gurgling and “talking” pipes we had been dealing with for years. In addition, they installed a water line connection for our refrigerator. Brandon and Nathan were very professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain what they found and why the updates were needed. Their attention to detail and quality workmanship gave us confidence that the job was done right. We highly recommend Wild Pine Plumbing and will definitely use them again for future plumbing projects.

2 days agoPlumbing and Sewer Renewal Specialists
9350 SW Tigard St, Portland, OR 97223, USA
(971) 213-8851We hired Plumbing and Sewer Renewal Specialists to do two projects for us and are very pleased with the outcome of both. They cleaned out a blockage under our sink (see pictures) as well as installed an exterior clean-out for our mid-century house. Everyone was professional, efficient, and took care to not damage our property. Their pricing was also very competitive. A call out of thanks to Kamryn, Dylan, Marcus, Adam and Tony E for a job well done!
5 months agoWe hired plumbing and sewer renewal specialists to relocate our house shutoff valve inside the garage and replace the water heater. They were the low bidders on this job of 4 that I received. They relocated the valve to a more convenient location inside the garage and explained the operation of the required pressure regulator valve. When they replaced the water heater, they selected a slimmer model to fit in the space. Other bids were charging more to move and disconnect other ducting. They also cleaned up the gas vent and gas line connects so they are now compliant. Excellent job overall.
4 months agoPlumbing and Sewer Renewal Specialists were great! Tristan and Jesus did a tremendous job repiping the entirety of my new home. Both were friendly, easy to talk to, and hardworking. They did a great job keeping me up to date with the progress of the 3-day job, and my wife and I felt truly taken care of. This place rules and we’ll definitely use them again!
6 months agoProfessional Drain Cleaning in Tigard, Oregon
Tucked between the Fanno Creek Greenway and the bustling Washington Square area, Tigard residents know that a clogged drain can happen at the worst possible time. Whether you're dealing with a slow kitchen sink after a family dinner or a backed-up floor drain in your basement, finding a plumber who is actually available is often the hardest part of the job.
Our service eliminates the guesswork by scanning our network of local professionals specifically in the Tigard area. We don't just give you a list; we filter by your specific zip code and call to verify that a technician is ready to head your way right now. No more waiting on hold or hearing 'we're booked until next week'—we ensure your drainage problems are handled today by a verified expert who understands the specific plumbing needs of Washington County homeowners.
Common Drain Issues in Tigard, Oregon
Tree Root Intrusion: With Tigard’s lush landscape and many mature Douglas firs and maples, tree roots frequently find their way into older clay or cast iron sewer lines. These roots seek out moisture, creating stubborn blockages that require professional hydro-jetting or snaking to clear without damaging your property.
Fanno Creek Watershed Issues: For homes located near the Fanno Creek floodplain or lower-lying areas, high water tables during the rainy Oregon winters can put extra pressure on your home’s drainage system. This often leads to sluggish drains or even sewer backups if your main line isn't clear and functioning perfectly.
Hard Water Scale: While Tigard's water is generally high quality, mineral buildup over time can narrow the interior of your pipes. This scale catches hair, soap scum, and food particles, leading to frequent clogs in bathroom vanities and kitchen sinks that store-bought liquid cleaners simply can't fix.
Aged Infrastructure: Many neighborhoods in Tigard feature homes built several decades ago with original plumbing. These older pipes are prone to sagging or 'bellies,' where water and debris pool, causing chronic clogs that require a professional camera inspection to identify and a verified plumber to resolve permanently.
Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for Tigard, Oregon
Fall Leaf Management: Before the heavy November rains hit Tigard, clear your gutters and outdoor area drains. Silt and decaying leaves can quickly wash into your perimeter drains, leading to basement flooding or crawlspace moisture issues.
Winter Pipe Protection: Tigard can see freezing temperatures in January and February. Ensure your outdoor faucets are drained and covered, and if you have a slow drain, get it cleared before a freeze, as standing water in pipes is more likely to expand and cause cracks.
Spring Cleaning for Drains: After a long winter of heavy use, use a biological drain cleaner or a hot water flush to clear out grease and organic matter. This prevents the 'spring surge' of clogs that often happens as temperatures rise and biological activity increases.
Summer Root Maintenance: During the dry Tigard summers, tree roots are most active in their search for water. If you have large trees near your sewer line, mid-summer is the best time for a preventative snake or camera inspection to catch root growth before the autumn rains return.
Average Drain Cleaning Costs in Tigard, Oregon
Prices in Tigard typically vary based on the severity of the clog, the accessibility of the cleanout, and whether specialized equipment like hydro-jetting or sewer camera inspections are required.
Frequently Asked Questions about Drain Cleaning in Tigard, Oregon
Why is it so hard to find a plumber in Tigard on short notice?
With Tigard's rapid growth and the high demand for trade services in the Portland metro area, many local shops are booked weeks out. Our service solves this by calling our network to find someone who has a current opening specifically in your zip code right now.
Are the plumbers in your Tigard network licensed for Oregon?
Yes, we only work with plumbers who are fully certified and licensed by the Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB) to ensure your home meets local Tigard building codes and safety standards.
Do you service neighborhoods near Bull Mountain or Metzger?
Absolutely. We filter by zip code to ensure that whether you are on Bull Mountain, near the Tigard High School area, or closer to the Durham border, we find the closest available professional to your door.
Is 24-hour drain cleaning available in Tigard through your service?
Yes. We specifically verify availability within our network, meaning we can find you help even on weekends or in the middle of a rainy Oregon night when emergency backups are most common.
What is the most common cause of sewer backups in Tigard?
The most common culprit is a combination of heavy seasonal rains and tree root intrusion. The rain saturates the soil, and roots that have compromised older pipes allow debris to snag, leading to a complete backup that requires professional clearing.
