Clog Pro Plumbing & Drain
833 SE Main St Mailbox 210, Portland, OR 97214, USA
(503) 479-8168Calvin was great! He was warm and friendly and very professional. He got the job done quickly and he and his company were willing to work with my schedule. Based on this experience, I would highly recommend Clog Pro Plumbing and Drain!
3 months agoWe had a clogged sewer drain . Clog Pro was able to see us that day!!! And then they were able to give us a new sewer pipe in the following few days . The crew was good to work with, being friendly and also communicative about what they were doing. We recommend them !
2 weeks agoClog Pro provided us excellent, extremely prompt service. The representative, Calvin, did a great job in helping us find a leak in a pipe below our basement. He cleaned out the pipes, did a video of them, and explained the problem and possible solutions. We’re very happy with the service provided and highly recommend them.
3 months agoPerfect Service Plumbing and Drain Cleaning
1011 SE Oak St, Portland, OR 97214, USA
(503) 964-4000Perfect Service Plumbing & Drain Cleaning delivers exactly what the name promises: exceptional plumbing work paired with people who genuinely care about customer service. Mike came out for an emergency fix for us at night, and helped resolve a service issue for our whole community. He was extremely nice, identified the issue immediately and was able to restore service in no time at all. Cannot recommend him highly enough!
1 month agoMike is hands down the best plumber I’ve ever worked with. Not only is he incredibly skilled and reliable, but he’s also just a great person. He recently helped with a full re-pipe and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Whether it’s installing a new water heater, fixing a drain clog, or handling a major plumbing issue, Mike always gets the job done right. He’s honest, knowledgeable, and truly cares about his work. If you need a top-notch plumber, I highly recommend Perfect Service!
11 months agoMike was very personable and approached my repipe project with professionalism. He pointed out all the areas of my home that would be affected; I think we only missed one which was in the garage. He did two walk-throughs and really helped me understand what needed to be relocated so his crew would have ample room to work. Unfortunately, and this is hard to even write since I imagined a much different outcome, quite a few parts of this project are still incomplete as of today and it has been 4 weeks. Mike promised a final walk through and so far he has not reached out. I also feel the crew didn't leave my home as they found it. Quite a bit of debris was leftover (inside and out) and they even drilled a new hole in my bathroom floor when the route should've been through the wall, which was confirmed during the walk-through. And yes, I know changes can come about but no one ever came to me to discuss. They just took the path of least resistance. Most of the incomplete work I ran across initially I put into a document for Mike to review. He thanked me for that and promised the tasks would be taken care of. Several were not -- which included easy stuff like making sure the new fixtures were properly caulked and also secure within the walls. One amazing thing his tech Joey did was completely install my new dishwasher. My home was subject to water damage last September and I've been doing dishes in my bathroom because I only have half a kitchen. This was a wonderful surprise.
1 week agoOC Drain Service, LLC
18744 Allegheny Dr, Oregon City, OR 97045, USA
(971) 255-8171I heard about Tyler via a neighbor who also had work done on one of their drain pipes. He answered my call immediately and booked an appointment for just a few days later. He arrived at the scheduled time, diagnose the issue and did as much work as possible. Due to the unique complexity of the issue, he recommended another repair service to complete the repair. He went so far as to call them to explain the issue. The work that he did get done was professional efficient, and well executed.
2 weeks agoTyler is absolutely amazing, he was able to come within a few hours and got our clogged drain fixed. He is very professional and kind. Will definitely call him again!!
1 week agoTyler was great to work with. I had a clog in my sewer line from the house. He gave me helpful advice before arriving and while he was here he showed me what he was doing and did everything he could to keep my repairs at an affordable rate. He was very helpful and informative and I recommend him to anyone who needs drain service!
3 months agoClog Pro Plumbing & Drain
12511 NE Fourth Plain Blvd, Vancouver, WA 98682, USA
(360) 369-3748Clog Pro provided excellent service and we can't thank them enough for their work. They were informative about what needed to be done and got right to it. The house is older and had several issues along the way but they tackled them like true Pros. Thank you!
1 month agoJesse and his team at Clog Pro went above and beyond to assist us with a backed up sewer line. Within an hour, a Clog Pro tech came out to diagnose the issue and clear out our sewer backup, while also cleaning up the sewage water that backed into our basement. He scheduled us for a sewer scope the very next morning. Jesse came out to take a look at the line and even called the City of Portland on our behalf to get them to inspect the scope video the same day. Jesse and technician Josh were able to clear out the rootball that had worked its way into the line and the line is up and flowing again. If you find yourself needing help with your clogged issues, I highly recommend Jesse, Josh, and the team at Clog Pro Plumbing & Drain. Their professionalism, knowledge, and care for your home is unmatched.
4 months agoI hired Clog Pro to connect my house to city sewer. My home in Vancouver was built in the 1950s and had a septic system rather than being hooked up to the sewer. My understanding is that if the septic tank or drainfield ever needed replacement, the city would require I hook up to the city sewer. I decided to have that done now rather than having to do it in an emergency in the future, or having a future owner of the house deal with it when they wouldn't know what obstacles there are in the ground to have to work around than I do. I used Yelp reviews to pick two contractors to get cost estimates from. One was located in the Portland suburbs and one in Clark County. The cost was expensive but I expected that because the hookup needed to be a pumped system that goes around the yard and up the driveway, not a simple gravity connect from house to street. One contractor indicated I should initiate a hook up permit to the city so I went there. One of the tasks of the job was right-of-way work in the street to hookup to the sewer that runs along the middle of the street. The city gave me a list of contractors who are on their approved list who have done that work with the city before. I looked through the list and didn't find either of the contractors that I had picked so far, but found one that looked like a possible third option- Clog Pro. I didn't look into Clog Pro prior to that because I figured from their name that they specialize in unclogging drains and pipes rather than other plumbing work. But their web site listed sewer connections as one of the things they do. So they came and looked over the project and gave an estimate. Discussing the job with the Clog Pro supervisor (Jesse), his understanding of the job impressed me the most, although the other two companies probably would have done a good job also. Also, Clog Pro's price was lower than the other two. I hired Clog Pro. I had always dreaded going ahead with this project because of the things that could go wrong. For example, the sewer pipe had to go close to some wires in the ground that control valves for my irrigation system, and I was worried they might be damaged. But the project went incredibly smoothly, no problems. From when I first got the estimate it was only about two weeks until the job was completed. I would never have thought that this job would go so smoothly. I am extremely impressed with the job they did, as well as how reasonable their charges were.

(503) 985-9461Highly recommend the folks at Perfect Flush! Our main plumbing line has clogged twice in the last four months and Perfect Flush were the ones to fix it every time by jetting the pipes, when other plumbing companies were unsuccessful. Cameron was the most recent person to help us out and was wonderful! It's very important to support local plumbing companies in our community as private equity continues to buy them up. Every time these guys have been professional, deeply knowledge, and just top-notch. Start here and you'll be a forever customer!
1 week agoFantastic service! Cameron our service tech came out and helped unclog our bathtub. He was efficient & polite. Office called to let me know he was running behind, great communication! Highly recommend!
1 week agoI had a Gray water plumbing clog at my residence. Nick came in early to take care of me. He performed incredible acrobatics in getting the drain cleaning cable down my pipes.. I started with John Wayne in the beginning. After he left, I built a relationship with Steve. I have always been happy with how your company has treated me personally. I have always used your company when a problem occurred with my work buildings. I am in charge of 33 different buildings and locations and each time you guys have been absolutely stellar in your performance and reaction time. I always recommend a Perfect Flush to anybody that has any sort of problems. Thank you so very much. Merry Christmas and have a wonderful new year. I will see you sooner.!!!
2 months agoCrown Plumbing
16303 NE Cameron Blvd, Portland, OR 97230, USA
(503) 771-9449Steven and Alex were great and professional! We have been wanting to remodel our bathroom since we bought our house and finally decided to bite the bullet this year. We went through the process of researching what we wanted and collecting the needed materials ourselves in the winter prior to reaching out to any plumbers. We realized we’d have to move the shower drain and didn’t want to DIY that. We sat on the project for the summer. Crown came recommended by some family friends and I decided to reach out to finally get an estimate. From when I reached out to install was less than two weeks. Steven came out to quote us, we demo’d it over the weekend, and he was able to install with Alex that week after. The install only took them a day and they stayed later to make sure they finished it up for us. Now I can only hope the rest of it goes as smooth. Thank you!!
3 months agoBoth Derian and Steven provided Exceptional service. They were professional, friendly, and explained everything clearly, and they fixed the blockage in our line! I especially appreciated that they left the area they were working on spotless. I highly recommend these two from Crown Plumbing! Because of the awesome service we received on our last job, we hired Crown Plumbing back to update our plumbing for our kitchen remodel project. They did an excellent job from start to finish. Knowing the Electrical people were coming in after, our plumber spotted an electrical issue and asked if he could contact the Electrician. This is going above and beyond! I highly recommend Crown plumbing! I was pleased with the bill; it was fair!
2 weeks agoWe had a fantastic experience with Crown Plumbing. Steven was able to diagnose an issue with our water heater/shower that had been plaguing us for years! He was very meticulous and thorough, and walked us through everything step by step. Once the issue was identified he was able to source replacement parts and finish the repairs very quickly. He left everything neat, tidy, and working better than new. He even took extra time to tighten a few connections so everything was in top working order. Highly recommended!

(503) 407-7293Vitaliy and his team were excellent to work with. They helped us with several projects such as clearing drains, replacing our kitchen faucet, and upgrading the water heater. Everything was done efficiently and with great care. Vitaliy was communicative and respectful throughout the whole process. He explained the work clearly and made sure we were comfortable and informed every step of the way. I appreciated how smoothly the whole appointment went, and how quickly the work was completed. Highly recommend Diligent Plumbing if you want professionalism with a personal touch. I'll definitely be calling again for any future needs.
5 months agoMy bathroom sink was completely clogged and my bathtub faucet was dripping. They explained everything clearly and did the work quickly. Less than 2 weeks later my bathtub drain was clogged. Again, they fixed the problem quickly and gave me a little break on the cost. Yes, it's expensive; but I didn't have to wait long, felt like I got good service and I'm happy with it. Thank you Diligent Plumbing!
4 months agoVitaliy is always friendly, professional, so quick to respond, and does great work. We recently had a water heater fail and called Vitaliy…he was here within an hour and we had a new water heater installed immediately. Over the next few days the pilot light kept going out and had to be relit multiple times. Called Vitaliy and he came back and replaced the gas regulator under warranty. Need a plumber? Call Vitaliy!

1 week agoElite Portland Emergency Plumber

His expertise was evident as he meticulously handled every aspect of the setup, ensuring everything functioned perfectly. The entire process took just over an hour, and he even took the time to explain the maintenance tips. 3 weeks agoGo With The Flow Plumbing
2402 NE 96th St, Vancouver, WA 98665, USA
(360) 921-6731Highly recommended as they are committed to customer service. My home had a leak in the main line connecting the home line to the municipal line last November. After searching online, I found Go With The Flow due to their stellar reviews and decided to use them to repair the leak. They came out within 2 days and repaired the leak, which took about half a day. They took time to explain what they were doing and what the issue was. We thought the cost was reasonable and that was the end of that experience. Fast forward 10 months and we had another really high water bill so I went to check the water meter and saw that there was a leak at the same spot that was repaired last November. It appeared to be a faulty part as the hole was directly in the middle of the brass connector they had installed. I called Go With The Flow to explain the situation to Alex and they were able to come out the same day. They reviewed the leak and noted that it’s likely a faulty part and performed the repair without charge (they offer a 1 year warranty on their workmanship). Most plumbing places likely do a fairly decent job on the initial repair but what sets Go With The Flow apart is the follow up service as they made it very painless in a frustrating situation (another high water bill and water gushing out from the new leak). It’s not easy to find service providers with great service nowadays (most seem to focus on marketing rather than great service), so I definitely recommend them for your plumbing needs. We are very happy with the work and the service received.
5 months agoI can’t say enough good things about Go With The Flow Plumbing! We had an issue come up that was covered under their warranty, and they came out promptly without hesitation. The team was incredibly respectful, professional, and efficient from start to finish. It’s rare to find a company that truly stands behind their work, but Go With The Flow exceeded our expectations. They made the whole process stress-free and treated our home with care. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for honest, high-quality plumbing service! Thank you Joe, Sergei and Alex! You all are amazing people that do amazing work!
8 months agoThe outdoor hose bib has dripped steadily for the last few summers. This winter it became a steady dribble. I made an appt at the beginning of the week and was not disappointed. Alex not only replaced it, he touched up the paint on the house trim, advised how best to handle the sheet rock which had to be cut in to (suggesting an access plate instead of replacing the sheetrock), and kept me informed along the way. This is a job one of the most well known plumbers in Clark County said would be too difficult too complete for a reasonable price, as it would compromise the brickwork. NO brickwork was damaged today!

Common Drain Issues in Portland
Tree Root Intrusion: With Portland's lush urban canopy, Douglas firs and maples often send invasive roots into older sewer lines in areas like Laurelhurst and Irvington, causing persistent and heavy blockages.
Aging Infrastructure: Many Portland homes still utilize original cast iron or clay pipes. These materials are prone to internal scale buildup and structural collapses, especially in historic districts where the plumbing hasn't been updated in decades.
Kitchen Grease & Foodie Culture: In a city known for its vibrant culinary scene, Portland kitchens work hard. Fats, oils, and grease from home cooking often solidify in pipes during the cooler Oregon months, leading to stubborn kitchen sink clogs.
Rainwater Overload: Heavy Pacific Northwest rains can overwhelm exterior area drains and basement floor drains. If your perimeter drains are clogged with silt or moss, a standard Portland rainstorm can quickly turn into a basement flooding emergency.
Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for Portland
Fall Leaf Management: Before the autumn rains arrive in the Willamette Valley, clear all leaves and debris from exterior trench drains and gutters to prevent seasonal basement backups.
Winter Freeze Protection: During Portland's cold snaps, ensure your outdoor spigots are drained and insulated. Pressure changes from frozen pipes can often dislodge sediment and cause unexpected clogs when things thaw.
Spring Root Maintenance: As trees wake up in the spring, consider a professional hydro-jetting service to clear out any small hair-roots that may have entered your sewer lines during the wet winter months.
Summer Disposal Care: With the abundance of Portland’s summer farmers' markets, avoid putting fibrous vegetable scraps like corn husks, artichokes, or celery down your garbage disposal to keep your kitchen lines clear.
Average Drain Cleaning Costs in Portland
Pricing for drain cleaning in Portland depends on the severity of the blockage, the accessibility of the cleanout, and whether specialized equipment like hydro-jetting or camera inspections are required.
Frequently Asked Questions about Drain Cleaning in Portland
Why is it so hard to find an available plumber in Portland?
High demand and a growing population often mean local shops are booked out. Our service solves this by filtering by your zip code and calling plumbers directly to verify they have a gap in their schedule to help you today.
Do you service all Portland neighborhoods, including the West Hills and St. Johns?
Yes. Our network covers the entire Portland metro area. We use your specific zip code to find the technician closest to your home to ensure the fastest possible response time.
What is the most common cause of drain clogs in Oregon?
Due to our climate, tree root intrusion and heavy silt buildup from rain runoff are the most frequent culprits for main line blockages in the Portland area.

Absolutely. We specialize in 24-hour availability verification. We scan our network for Portland plumbers offering emergency hours and confirm they are actually awake and ready to dispatch.
