Zoom Drain
6616 Gulton Ct NE Suite 50, Albuquerque, NM 87109, USA
(505) 531-5100We had a slow drain on our washing machine and the technician, Ismael Davis, did an amazing job to ensure that the clog was completely eliminated. Mr. Davis was very professional, thorough, and even cleaned up the area afterwards. We would highly recommend Zoom Drain based on this experience!!
2 months agoZoom Drain saved the day. I woke up this morning to sewage backing up in my toilet and was on the verge of tears. We were just getting ready to move out of our house. Michael at Zoom Drain assured me they’d have someone out there right away. Within an hour and a half, Trevyn came to assess the situation and cleared the blockage in no time. The price was very reasonable! Later the same day, our toilet started to back up again, so the blockage wasn’t 100% cleared. I called Michael back and he immediately sent Ismael out, arriving in less than 45 min. He fixed it right up with the hydro-jet and didn’t even charge me. My toilets are working great again. I couldn’t be more impressed. I’d highly recommend them for any plumbing needs!
4 months agoI found Zoom Drain after 2 other companies were unsuccessful in clearing a clog in my sewer main line. The other companies said I would need to replace my sewer line to the street and undergo a major excavation project that would cost thousands of dollars. Also a few other companies couldn't get me on the schedule for multiple days. When i called Zoom I immediately could tell the employee on the phone was knowledgeable and he was able to get me on the schedule that day! When Ismael Davis arrived he immediately got to work assessing the situation and provided options including hydrojetting which was the first I had heard about this option. After hydrojetting the line twice and confirming the line was clear with the camera Ismael had my line to the sewer completely clear! Also he went into the crawl space and confirmed my pipe was cast iron and was in good shape and not in need of a full line replacement. Thank you Zoom and Ismael both are highly recommended!

1 month agoThe main drain line to street clogged. Nothing draining in house. Enrique & Valentino were able to "snake" it out. Then made sure everything was draining properly. They were extremely nice, knowledgeable, and offered advice for a camera inspection as this continues to happen. The company also sends text of what tech is coming with picture & some info on tech. Great experience! Highly recommend company. The price was reasonable .

1 month agoI encountered a problem days before Thanksgiving with my minisplit system. The team was able to come out before Thanksgiving and restore its functionality for me prior to the holiday. Although the system malfunctioned without any fault on their part, they collaborated with me to get the manufacturer to provide a brand new system for my home. They ensured that it was installed and functioning correctly before Christmas. The quality of work these professionals deliver is exceptional; they are highly skilled and remarkably easy to collaborate with. They follow up after the job is completed to confirm that everything is operating as it should. Their outstanding service and dedication to customer satisfaction have secured them a lifelong customer.

1 month agoPhil came to my house today to do the seasonal maintenance of our heating system. He was very respectful, asked me if we were having any issues and addressed my concerns with clear explainations. After he did his thing he showed me a few things that could have further maintenance or be replaced. The company has created some money-saving bundles for common maintenance needs that are also very helpful. He was not pushy about agreeing to those fixes immediately and was happy for me to discuss them with my husband before deciding. This was a great experience overall. I would recommend first rate to others.

8 years agoPlumbing Express HVAC Electrical and Utility

(505) 417-0993Amazing service and amazing price. I own and manage 9 different apartment buildings and use him for all of them. I had a sewer emergency and the owner came out personally and they started replacing it the next business day. He charged half what I would have expected for the work and did a great job. He finished the project one fifth of the time I would have considered reasonable. Use this guy.
5 months agoI highly recommend Plumbing Express. Stephan the owner is reliable and knowledgeable about his work. Im the head engineer at Courtyard Hotel. I had my water heater go out for my property. So gave plumbing express after business hours. Came out that same night and worked and fixed my hot water problem. Thanks Stephan and Plumbing Express. Will be using for now on.
7 months agoPlumbing express saved the day. They found a screw that the roofer put in the electrical conduit. 5000 Edith Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107, USA
(505) 761-9644I’ve used TLC Plumbing for years and they are always great! The service technicians are professional and get the job done right. Our water heater was leaking and needed to be replaced. Fortunately they were able to get someone out the same day. Joe was very knowledgeable and explained everything that needed to be done. I appreciate how clean he worked and explained how our new water heater works. Great job Joe!!!
3 weeks agoWe had tree roots growing under the floor affecting 2 toilets. After a camera showed extensive damage, Zach explained in detail what the repair would entail. The floor was jack hammered and the pipes were repaired in 2 days. A solution was found so they did not have to rip up the floor in the other bathroom. Jesus , Zach and a few more team members did a fantastic job. They removed tiles along a grout line and poured a concrete subfloor in such a way that replacing new tiles was fairly easy. Communication was excellent throughout the job. Thank you guys!
2 months agoVery professional installation. Arrived within minutes of scheduled appointment. Final price was several thousand below their competition. For a water heater installation, that says something. Brought our heater installation "up-to-code" which was interesting. Our system wasn't up to code from the day it was installed 30 years ago. Maybe the code has been updated. Our water heater is strapped in tighter than a baby in a new car seat. Bottom line, I highly recommend TLC. We have used them on various water line leaks over the past few years and will continue to use them when we future water of HVAC issues.
1 month agoProfessional Drain Cleaning in Albuquerque
From the historic adobe homes in Old Town to the sprawling residences in the Far Northeast Heights, Albuquerque homeowners face unique plumbing challenges that require a local touch. The Duke City’s high desert environment and notoriously hard water can lead to stubborn clogs and mineral scale that standard store-bought cleaners simply can't handle. When your sink stops draining or your sewer line backs up, you don't have time to call a dozen different companies to see who is actually working. Our service takes the stress out of home maintenance by doing the legwork for you. We maintain a verified network of certified Albuquerque plumbers and filter them based on your specific zip code. Most importantly, we actually call them to confirm they can handle your specific drain issue today. We ensure that when you connect with a pro, they are ready to roll out to your home in the 505 immediately, saving you time and frustration.
Common Drain Issues in Albuquerque
Hard Water Mineral Buildup: Albuquerque is known for its hard water, which is exceptionally high in calcium and magnesium. Over time, these minerals crystallize inside your pipes, narrowing the passage and creating a sandpaper-like surface that catches hair and grease, leading to frequent and persistent clogs.
Desert Root Intrusion: In our arid New Mexico climate, tree roots are aggressive in their search for moisture. Even a tiny hairline crack in your sewer line can attract roots from nearby cottonwoods or Siberian elms, leading to massive blockages that require professional hydro-jetting to clear.
Sand and Silt Accumulation: During the windy spring 'dust season' or after a heavy late-summer monsoon, sand and fine Albuquerque silt can find its way into your exterior drainage systems. This heavy sediment settles in the traps and requires specialized high-pressure equipment to flush out completely.
Aging Infrastructure in Historic Districts: In neighborhoods like Nob Hill, the North Valley, or Barelas, many homes still feature original clay or cast iron pipes. These materials are prone to corrosion, sagging, and 'bellies' in the line, which significantly slows down drainage and leads to recurring backups if not professionally maintained.
Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for Albuquerque
Spring Monsoon Prep: Before the heavy July rains hit, ensure your area drains and gutters are clear of debris. Albuquerque’s flash floods can quickly overwhelm a partially clogged drain, leading to water damage in your crawlspace or basement.
Winter Pipe Protection: While Albuquerque is sunny, our winter nights often drop well below freezing. Ensure your outdoor hose bibs are drained. If a pipe freezes and then thaws, the resulting pressure can push loosened scale into your indoor drains, causing unexpected blockages.
Fall Foliage Cleanup: As the cottonwoods drop their leaves in the fall, be vigilant about keeping them away from your outdoor drain grates. Decaying organic matter can create a thick, waterproof mat that seals off your drainage system during a late-season storm.
Summer High-Usage Check: With kids home for the summer and more guests visiting for local festivals, your plumbing system works overtime. Perform a 'stress test' by checking for slow drains in guest bathrooms and utility sinks before your house is full of visitors.
Average Drain Cleaning Costs in Albuquerque
Pricing in Albuquerque typically depends on the severity of the clog and the equipment needed. A simple sink snake starts lower, while main sewer line clearing or hydro-jetting services represent the higher end of the scale.
Frequently Asked Questions about Drain Cleaning in Albuquerque
Why is hard water a problem for Albuquerque drains?
The high mineral content in Albuquerque's water supply causes scale buildup inside pipes. This rough surface catches debris like hair and food scraps, leading to clogs that recur much more frequently than in areas with soft water.
How fast can I get a plumber to the West Side or Rio Rancho?
By filtering our network by your specific zip code, we identify the pros closest to your neighborhood. We verify their current schedule before connecting you, often securing a technician for same-day service.
Do Albuquerque plumbers offer hydro-jetting for roots?
Yes, many of our certified partners use hydro-jetting, which is the most effective way to clear out the stubborn tree roots and heavy mineral deposits common in older New Mexico plumbing systems.
Will my older Nob Hill home's pipes be safe during professional cleaning?
Absolutely. We only work with certified technicians who understand the delicacy of older Albuquerque plumbing materials like clay or aged cast iron, ensuring they use the appropriate pressure and cable size for your home's age.
Is it harder to find a plumber during the International Balloon Fiesta?
While demand for all services increases during major city events, our verification service allows us to scan the entire metro area to find a plumber who actually has a gap in their schedule to help you immediately.
