Expert Drain Cleaning in Des Moines, Iowa

Nick and Austin have saved the day when my basement drain was overflowing. Turns out there was a massive built up of black sludge in my water line. They were both very professional and informative throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend this great team! I will be using them for all of my plumbing and drain cleaning needs. Javi and Zach were amazing! I called in the morning at 10:30AM ( on a sunday too) with not a lot of hope our sewage backup issue will be resolved within the day. Javi and Zach came around 1:30pm and helped us out. They were very easy to talk to, did a wonderful job explaining what was wrong with our sewage pipe and took care of the root for us. They were here for almost 5 hours working nonstop. Javi even explained to us what to do in order to prevent this from happening in the future. We had a great experience with Clog Busters and recommend this company.

Max was very pleasant even though we called and he came out 45 minutes from Des Moines! Max was quick and efficient with diagnosing our leak and even though he had to drive back to des moines and back to our house to replace our toilet at 8 pm, he did not make us feel like we were inconveniencing him. Everyone was great! They were fast! No hard sales pitch! Giorgio our technician was prompt and knowledgeable. He quickly assessed the situation. Gave us options but most importantly fixed our clogged drain! He was very courteous. I can't say enough good about Rooter Ranger. I was skeptical of the $97 offer. Thinking there would be some "time-share" level sales pitches. But nope. $97 plus tax was the full costs!

Called for a main line clog. They had a technician here within a few hours. Jeff got the job done quickly with no BS. And price was more than affordable. I was so pleased with the the service we received!

Honestly the worst company I’ve dealt with in a long time. We had someone come out to unclog our drain as sewer is backing up in our basement. They came out on an extremely cold day and stated they couldn’t unclog it due to it being too cold. We have now played phone tag with this company for over a week and a half almost 2 weeks as they kept saying they would come back “when it’s warmer” well it was 50 out today and we still had heard nothing so we called today and they originally said they would be out tomorrow and then called back and when my husband answered the phone the man on the other end stated “my manager said we are no longer servicing this account” and hung up giving us no chance to respond or ask questions. Mind you I already paid $350 for some guy to come look at my drain and say yeah I can’t do that today. Not to me that we now probably have mold growing in our basement due to them dragging us along for no obvious reason. I will be contacting the BBB and County Attorney as I have proof of payment and proof of no services completed. Which my friends is theft. I would never recommend anyone to this company. Thank you!

Please do not call this company. They came out to clear my drain. Was told around $300, ended up being $400+ They did not stick around to make sure all drains in my basement were clear. They told me to do that, I did and it backed up again. Got put on a waitlist for rework. They no showed, told me it was too cold even though my clean out is inside my house. Please call a reputable company that will do the entire job!

We had Anthony (#159) he was GREAT! He was timely, kind, did great work and made great recommendations all for an amazing price! He throughly explained what he did and then what to do for the future, answered all my questions, and even showed me a feature about my washer I didn’t know about!! Thank you Anthony! Nate came over and unclogged our bathtub drain today. He was very pleasant, was very nice to our kids and even said hello to all of our pets. He was fast and professional and very reasonably priced. Would call Zippy 100% next time we need help. 10/10

Very happy with my experience hiring Zippy drain. Seth and Chris were very thorough with diagnosing a drain line break and Chris was just as thorough with the fix ensuring that where they replaced the drain was the only spot with rotted pipe. The customer service was also kind and informative when I called with a bunch of questions prior to hiring them, and also easy to communicate with scheduling. Overall good experience and I will be using them again in the future.

Called them out to have a look at a sewer line that was leaking right where it exits the house. The person on the phone was polite and helpful - she gave me a date and time someone would arrive and what to expect. Mark showed up right on time and was super friendly. He looked things over, explained everything that he saw (the leak was in a section of suuuper old pipe that was a horrendous conflageration of Y's and T's and couplers and patches that was partially embedded in the foundation wall, so it wasn't easy to tell exactly what was leaking) and what kinds of options I had. He gave me pros and cons of each option, never tried to push anything or "up-sell". He wanted to confer with another technician before giving an official estimate (like I said, the pipes were a mess) but gave me an off-the-cuff "guesstimate" so I had an idea what to expect. He e-mailed me an official quote within a couple hours that was right in line with his guesstimate so I scheduled them to come back to do the work. They showed up right on time again with a full crew to get the work done - everyone was friendly and polite. The job took a full day and Mark came to talk to me multiple times to let me know what they had done, any "surprises" they had found (there were a couple) and went over how they were going to tackle them. Communication was great, the rat's nest of pipes looks 1000% better, the leak is gone and they completely cleaned up the work area when they were done (the corner of my basement is actually cleaner now than when they started). There was excavation that had to get done outside which left extra dirt (which was expected) and they were very good about making sure the extra dirt was cleaned up and moved so it was out of the way. I am completely satisfied with the work that was done and would 100% recommend them.

Husein came over and he was very knowledgeable. Helped show me my heating system (Carrier) and that it basically has a computer system and was throwing some error codes. Cleaned out exhaust and return ventilation and replaced the drain hose. I was impressed and signed up for their plumbing (water heater), heater and air conditioning yearly maintenance plan. Told me some of the items that I could do improve my system. Very knowledgable dude. Thank you Husein and Bell Brothers! 🙏

My husband and I’s furnace went out right before our wedding. Not ideal. We had some repairs done by Bell Brothers earlier in the year and they were happy to help us with a financial plan. They replaced our furnace while we were away on our honeymoon. They were very respectful of our home and updated us appropriately. We returned to a warm home. Additionally, we got a very thoughtful letter and wedding gift in the mail. Truly a great experience working with them.

I had a furnace issue and called some places and only Schaal was able to come on a Saturday. The technician, Cole was great. He worked quickly and explained everything very well after he finished. He did a great job and I would recommend them.

Showed up promptly on time. Wore booties inside so not to track mud in. They did forget to double check if they got one of the cold air returns all cleaned out and blew dust all over the living room. Broke one of my floor vents and left dirt and debris on downstairs bathroom counter. They cleaned up the living room as best they could and offered to mop but I told them I would do it.

Trent with Holt was excellent! He went above and beyond to troubleshoot our primary shower by disassembling it and calling two vendors who did not have the part which is when he went above and beyond finding the part on line. In addition, I had a question about a whole home filtration system and he took the time to educate me extensively. Trent with Holt provided white glove customer which was greatly appreciated!

Knowledgeable and friendly. David was on time and fixed our issue. We had multiple techs at our house today for various reasons. I did offer the techs $20 to fight on my front lawn for my own entertainment reasons. My offer was politely declined. Holt always has the most professional staff. Would recommend. Thanks!
