May 2024 Saturday 8 PM - Very kind person from answering service took my call and documented my concerns. Shortly after that James from Drain Doctor in Waterloo called me. Explained he was finishing a project, then would head to my place. About an hour later he called me again saying he would arrive in 15 minutes, and he did. James was extremely respectful, professional, understanding, and caring. I stood beside him, and he thoroughly explained everything as my basement floor drain was plugged with standing water that had backed-up into the drainage tile around my house resulting in some wet spots in my basement. James solved the problem with ease. Deeply appreciated his kindness, knowledge, graciousness, and professionalism. May 2025 - As soon as the professional team from Drain Doctor came to my house and determined I had a broken sewer line 60’ from my house under the street curb, a plan was made to repair it. Once digging started, it was noted that my sewer line had been severed by a trenching company. Drain Doctor became my advocate as they located the trenching company. The trenching company fully reimbursed me once Drain Doctor’s project was completed since I had already paid Drain Doctor. I did not have sewer or water line insurance, nor did my homeowner’s policy pay for the repair. The dedication, hard work, and solid work ethic of the Drain Doctor team of Dan, Dave, James, and Tyler, in addition to office workers Geri and Destiny worked together making the necessary repairs. Used after moving into our house as our floor drain keeps backing up with water. They were here for about 4 hours and charged me over $600 and said I was good to go, just for my floor drain to start backing up less than a month later. Called them to see if they could come back out since it was doing the same thing and they said they were going to charge me again to come back out.

I had no heat in my furnace, so I called Dalton to come out to take a look at it. They arrived a couple hours after I called and got me running. The technicians were very knowledgeable and got it fixed quickly. They were also incredibly friendly and explained the best options available. I also asked about adding heat to my basement and they provided a quote right then and I was able to get my basement heated within a couple of days. Great company and people! Highly recommend!

Dalton just completed an install of six (heating and cooling) mini splits at my house. The equipment is excellent and the installation was fast, clean and on schedule. No mess whatsoever, and attention to aesthetic was impressive. The team walked me through operation and they worked within my budget. Definitely recommend.

Best plumbing company in the upstate of SC. Matt, Mecky and Charlie were professional and very knowledgable. They never came to me with a problem only solutions. Our whole house was plumbed in two days. They were also familiar with our smart toilet choice. I would give them 100 stars if I could.

Great work and very helpful team for understanding pricing and details of the job! We had a time set up to come quote us on a job but then our furnace just stopped working and they got someone out to us in less than an hour to get it back up and running! We had a time consuming plumbing job that needed done and they did a great job and we barely noticed they were there. Will absolutely use them for our future needs!

I cannot recommend Young enough! After a frustrating experience with a previous plumber who charged me just for an overpriced quote, working with Young was a breath of fresh air. I was nervous about being overcharged again, but Young was incredibly patient and professional. They answered all of my questions over the phone before the appointment, which put my mind at ease. Nick's Sewer and Drain, AKA Drain Doctors, sent 2 men out to try and unclog a basement floor drain. They could not get thru it so they said they would have to use their camera to see what the issue was at a price of over $300!! I reluctantly agreed, they could not see anything, but supposedly located the issue under the concrete basement floor. I had a plumber come out the next day to tear up the floor, but no pipes were even found at or near that spot! I asked for a refund or another locate, but they said I would have to pay for that. Do not use this company! much better and cheaper companies out there. Found another who located the issue for far less. It was outside the house. Wasted time and money with them!!!

Very affordable, professional and fast! I tried EVERYTHING and wasted money thinking I or my son could unclog the sink. Pretty sure I brought almost every product Menards sells! Nothing worked, not even the guaranteed stuff. Super happy with their service, I’d strongly recommend.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars for the prompt, awesome service. Our family was preparing to leave for vacation when our pipes were clogged causing sewage back up in our basement. After trying numerous companies, Cooley was recommended to us. They had someone at our home in less than 6 hours, the problem was found and fixed in less than half an hour and the cost was lower than the other companies we originally called. The guys that came were great, very quick, and very kind. I will definitely be using them again if I have another issue!

Very easy to schedule… very prompt… Had two employees out to do the work. They explained to me what they were going to do . After getting the line from our house to the septic tank open, they then used the camera to show me any problems in the line. Explained to me how to address any future problems. This morning, in –18° weather, I woke up at 2am to a house that was 58 degrees. I called Bergen PHC’s after‑hours line, and the staff immediately helped schedule an appointment for when they opened. Shortly after that, technician Matt Mulnix arrived, diagnosed the issue, and replaced the faulty part. Within an hour of him being here, my home was warming back up. This company is the only one I trust with my HVAC needs. They make you the priority, explain every repair clearly, and consistently deliver a level of customer care that’s hard to find anywhere else. In extreme temperatures like this morning, you really see who you can rely on. Bergen is worth every penny, and the job is always done right the first time.

Several shady and unprofessional practices finally led me to back out before letting them replace my water heater. No website, no business address, just a guy’s house. Prefers not to talk on the phone, text only. Many texting errors made me think English not first language. He asked for payment up front, but I said I would wait til they were at the house. The guy texted “cash would be great!” I bet it would if you are shady! They wanted to be prompt “we can do it tomorrow”, but I wanted to give them time. I informed them I work nights and asked about 4pm Friday. That would be “overtime hours, we do water heaters in the morning”. So I said I could skip sleeping right away to do 9am. They agreed. He even double checked time the day before. I said I was still ready. 3 days after I called, I rushed home to be there 8:30am and ready. At 10:20am, no word, so I called to see where the crew was. No apology, said “we go buy the supplies before the job.”. Stores open at 8 even if they shop the day of. I said “if they don’t get here by 11, cancel the project”. He said “oh, they are in Laporte now!”. How did he know suddenly after I asked when he didn’t know at start of phone call. He said “why, do you have something else you need to do?” Yeah! I need to sleep! I just worked 12 hours! Who is 3 hours late with no apologies and like “can’t you wait longer?” He then said I had to pay before they started. Other repairs I’ve done, there might be a contract, a service fee, percent up front…..so all that just says it’s either highly unprofessional or a con! I imagined just being ghosted in the end. I had to sleep, I felt disrespected and my needs disregarded. Price is cheap-not sure how he knows what to charge if doesn’t know parts cost until the day of the project? He said they had done a project each day before mine-but then how were they offering to come next day when I called? Guess I will never know. Also, all 5 star reviews? Really? Nothing they said made sense compared to this interaction.

Had to have my water heater replaced and was told to go through these guys and I'm very happy I did. They were incredibly helpful over the phone and when they got here they were very professional and kind. They got the old water heater out and the new one in a lot faster than I assumed they would AND cleaned up after themselves. I'll honestly be calling these guys for any plumbing stuff I need in the future and you should too!

Wish I could give zero stars. Poor communication. I called on a Friday for a tenant's shower not draining due to needing a drum trap replaced with a pea trap. Spoke to a gentleman that said he would see if he could get someone in on Saturday to take care of this. He could not get anybody to come in over the weekend, so he told me to call the office back and have them put it down for Monday. I left the tenants information with the office and was told it was doing for Monday. Monday mid-day, the tenant reached out informing me that nobody had ever contacted him or came. I called the office right away and was told she was going to call the techs and let them know they need to reach out to tenant. Tuesday morning, the tenant messaged in that he still hadn't had anybody come or call. I called the office and was told she was going to call the tech again and let them know to reach out. The tenant messaged me about 5 min after that saying that they called but they couldn't get to the issue until Wednesday. Now the tub that will not drain is over flowing onto the floor and damaging the property. When I escalated this to management, I was given the same responses, "Ill call our techs and see if we can move some things around and get someone there today." Had they just told me they could not get it done Monday, I would have scheduled with another plumber in the area and had the issue resolved by now. Very poor communication. I do not recommend doing business with them.

I would give a 0 very pour Communication with their people the lady answers the phone. We have a big plumbing problem an been going on since April they did come out to give us an estimate because they need to dig all the way out to the street and we were told they will be out end of may well that came an gone then was told end of June we called to see when there coming an all we heard just makes his own hours, but Justin never called until last Friday when he said that told us to find somebody else to do the job because he wasn’t going to so that left us in a pinch they’re just worthless people. I shouldn’t say all of them he is for sure. I will never recommend someone to call them.

Sent Peterson Hudson Hdwe. Plumbing & Heating an email at 2:00am on a Monday. I got a call that morning from Jeremy. He offered to come take a look at my furnace & found a time that we could work out the next day. Jeremy came over that morning, reviewed my unit & explained to me some of the functions, what to look out for, parts to keep in mind, & general maintence advice, all while he was doing maintenence! Very kind, timely, & knowledgeable. I would 100/10 recommend this business!

Called to get a quote was out that day and by the next week my kitchen sink was moved over. Was very happy with the out come of my kitchen sink being moved over. They cleaned up as they went along. Would recommend.

Rod Curran called at 7:52 this morning to back out of our scheduled 8:00 appointment to replace our water heater. Seems he and his employees are to decrepit to carry a water heater. Not cool.
