5 months agoNeighborly Plumbing and Drain Cleaning
9764 Granite Hills Dr E, Sandy, UT 84092, USA
(385) 475-2605Mathew and Anson were great. They notified me that they would arrive within the hour. They were spot on. Humored me when I asked them to show me the process of draining my water heater. Professional and kind. Very reasonable price for the service.
3 months agoHad an unfortunate sewer backup a different plumber had helped me fix. That plumber cameraed the lines and told me I needed to tear out my pipes which would have cost over $8K. I called Neighborly Plumbing for a second opinion. They took a look at the pipes, and hopped down in the manhole to take a closer look. There was a ton of gunk in my pipe and in the manhole causing me issues and they instead recommended I jetted the pipe and get the manhole area clear. I felt a lot more sure about this recommendation and that they had my best interest in mind. Their quote for jetting my pipe was also significantly cheaper than the other plumbing company. I feel a lot more at ease now that my sewer pipes are clean, and I feel like the work was done for a very fair price. I can't thank Neighborly Plumbing enough for their assessment and work. The only thing that could have been better was faster scheduling. Other than that, they were awesome.
4 months agoMy mom’s sewer line backed up and had to be repaired and lined. Neighborly plumbing came out and took care of everything including some unrelated interior plumbing issues that needed to be addressed as well. They were honest, did great work and were amazing to deal with through the entire process. I would highly recommend them!

3 months agoRecently replaced the hardwood floors in our house. Last minute realized we had a fridge with water line, dishwasher with line and drain, and a gas range. All had to be disconnected for new floors. The crew that came was on time and very efficient. They also suggested disconnecting washer and dryer. Work was quick. Professional, for quoted price. They put everything back as soon as floor was installed. Would recomend these guys to anyone looking for Professional service, and courtesy at a reasonable price.

(801) 928-8961Aladin from Alpine Plumbing Fixed a Water Heater Mess! I highly recommend Alpine Plumbing, Drains & Sewer, and specifically Plumber Aladin. I had a stressful water heater leak on a Friday night—a problem that was ultimately caused by a crappy installation from a previous, incompetent plumbing company. I was worried this would be a difficult and drawn-out fix, but Alpine's service was stellar from the start. They were able to schedule the repair for Saturday at my convenience. Aladin arrived and was immediately professional, nice, and incredibly knowledgeable. He quickly and clearly identified not just the leak, but the flaws in the original installation, and confidently explained how he would fix it properly. Aladin patiently answered all my questions and made sure I understood the process. 7 months agoValley Plumbing Heating & Cooling
406 S Jordan Pkwy W #440, South Jordan, UT 84095, USA
(385) 269-2899Eddie and Landon did a great job cutting in a new clean-out and auguring our under-the-basement sewer line. Then sent a camera down to assure us it had been cleaned out and had no major issues. Since the line was quite scaled up, Eddie recommended a product that would clean the sludge up and do an even better job - in a 50year old line. we had major work done 10 months ago, replacing part and relining part of the sewer line from the house to the main line. Valley did a great job. At that time I purchased the membership which was around $80. And due to that, we saved over $200 on this project. I believe Valley plumbing is honest, Efficient, does quality work and to top it off, cleans up after themselves afterwards. I would recommend them to anyone needing plumbing inside or out.
5 months agoJeremy Gellersen from Valley Plumbing Heating & Cooling was absolutely outstanding! He responded quickly and arrived at our home the same day we called about a leaking pipe behind the shower wall. From the moment he stepped inside, Jeremy was incredibly respectful of our home—careful with our belongings, using drop cloths and booties, and leaving everything spotless when he finished. He took the time to thoroughly explain what was causing the leak, walked us through the repair process step by step, and answered every question with patience and clarity. No rush, no jargon we couldn’t understand—just honest, informative communication. He expertly accessed and repaired the leaking pipe behind the wall, and the job was done cleanly and efficiently. We’re so grateful for his professionalism, skill, and genuinely kind demeanor. Jeremy is a true professional and we wouldn’t hesitate to call him again or recommend him to anyone needing top-notch plumbing service. If you want great work done right the first time, ask for Jeremy Gellersen—you won’t be disappointed! 5 stars all the way.

4 months agoMonkey Wrench Plumbing, Sewer & Drain
660 W 7250 S, Midvale, UT 84047, USA
(801) 624-6740TLDR; Call these guys, they’ll take good care of you and your home 🙏 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 We had a pretty stressful situation this morning when a toilet supply line randomly burst and sprayed water everywhere in our third floor bathroom. Before we knew it, water leaked down three floors through the walls, the ceiling, everywhere. Total nightmare. We called Monkey Wrench Plumbing and they were able to get someone out the same day, which saved us. Kyle was our technician and he was great. Super down-to-earth, easy to talk to, and clearly knew what he was doing. He explained that the old builder-grade plastic supply line had failed (which apparently happens more than you’d think) and walked us through what he was going to replace it with. He swapped out the cheap plastic line and valve for a braided metal one that’s much more durable and built to last. It feels good knowing we won’t have to worry about that happening again. What really stood out was that they also helped get a restoration company out that same day to start dealing with the water damage. When you’re standing in a house with water coming through ceilings, that kind of quick coordination means everything. Overall, just a really solid local company that shows up when you need them. Hopefully we don’t have another plumbing emergency anytime soon, but if we do, we’re calling them again without hesitation. Highly recommend.
3 months agoCarlos, Tony, Onni and crew did a fabulous job with such a quick turnaround time. My water main was leaking heavily and not only were they able to put a new one in and route it in the best way possible, they brought the shut off valve to an accessible location in my home. Big shoutout to them for the great work done!
3 months agoJerry and Tony were great! They were efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. I would recommend them to anyone. That is why they deserve a five star rating! I’m so happy to have hot water again and looking forward to utilizing a water softener with my new tankless water heater! We were always running out of hot water. So when my water heater decided to flood the basement on Christmas morning, I figured it was time for an upgrade.
5 months agoProfessional Drain Cleaning in Taylorsville, Utah
Finding a reliable plumber in Taylorsville shouldn't feel like a full-time job. Nestled in the heart of the Salt Lake Valley, Taylorsville residents deal with everything from aging clay pipes in established neighborhoods to modern drainage challenges in newer developments near the Jordan River. Whether you are dealing with a stubborn kitchen clog or a backed-up main line, you need a professional who is actually available to show up when they say they will.
Our service takes the guesswork out of home maintenance. Instead of calling down a list of fifteen different plumbers only to find out they are booked for the week, we do the legwork for you. We instantly filter through our network of certified Taylorsville professionals by your exact zip code and call them to confirm they can handle your specific drain issue today. It is the fastest, most efficient way to get your home back to normal without the stress of endless phone tag.
Common Drain Issues in Taylorsville, Utah
Hard water is a significant issue across the Salt Lake Valley, and Taylorsville is no exception. Over time, mineral deposits like calcium and magnesium build up inside your pipes, narrowing the passage and making it easier for hair and soap scum to create stubborn blockages that store-bought cleaners can't touch.
In many of Taylorsville’s more established neighborhoods, mature trees are a major culprit for sewer line issues. Root systems are naturally drawn to the moisture in your pipes, often infiltrating small cracks and expanding until the entire line is obstructed, leading to slow drains or sewage backups in the basement.
Kitchen sink clogs are frequently caused by heavy grease and fat disposal. In our climate, these substances can solidify quickly within your pipes, especially during the colder months, creating a 'fatberg' that requires professional high-pressure hydro-jetting to fully clear and restore flow.
Many homes in the area feature basement floor drains that are susceptible to 'dry traps' or sediment buildup. If you notice a sewage smell or water pooling near your water heater or laundry area, it is often a sign that the local drainage system is struggling with debris or improper venting common in regional architectural styles.
Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for Taylorsville, Utah
Winter Prep: Before the first Utah freeze, ensure all outdoor hoses are disconnected and shut off valves are drained. This prevents pressure backups that can cause interior drain joints to weep or crack during the cold Taylorsville winters.
Spring Runoff: As the snow melts from the Oquirrh Mountains, local groundwater levels can rise. Ensure your basement floor drains are clear of debris so they can handle any unexpected hydrostatic pressure or minor flooding that occurs during the wet spring months.
Summer Maintenance: With garden harvests and backyard BBQs in full swing, your garbage disposal works overtime. Avoid putting fibrous vegetables like corn husks or celery down the drain, as these are leading causes of summer service calls in the Salt Lake area.
Autumn Leaf Clearing: Keep your outdoor area drains and gutters clear of falling leaves. In Taylorsville, autumn winds can quickly move debris into your exterior drainage grates, leading to localized flooding around your foundation during the late-season rainstorms.
Average Drain Cleaning Costs in Taylorsville, Utah
Pricing in Taylorsville typically depends on the location of the clog (secondary line vs. main line) and the equipment required, such as a basic drain snake or advanced hydro-jetting.
Frequently Asked Questions about Drain Cleaning in Taylorsville, Utah
How quickly can I get a plumber to my Taylorsville home?
Because we verify availability in real-time by calling plumbers in your specific Taylorsville zip code, we can often find a technician who can arrive within a few hours for emergency clogs.
Why do my drains smell like rotten eggs during the Utah winter?
This is often caused by a dry P-trap or a blocked vent stack on your roof. In Taylorsville, snow and ice can sometimes block the plumbing vent, causing sewer gases to back up into the home.
Do Taylorsville plumbers offer 24-hour emergency services?
Yes, many of the 15 plumbers in our Taylorsville network offer 24/7 service. We specifically filter for those who are currently on-call and available to handle your emergency immediately.
Is hydro-jetting necessary for homes near the Jordan River?
If you have recurring root intrusions or heavy mineral scale common in the Salt Lake Valley, hydro-jetting is the most effective long-term solution to clear the line completely rather than just punching a hole through the clog.
How much does a typical drain cleaning cost in Taylorsville?
For a standard localized clog, prices usually range from $145 to $225. If the issue is in the main sewer line or requires a camera inspection, costs can range from $300 to $425 depending on the complexity.
