I had a super great experience today with this company and the hyro jetting service they provided. Jake made it super easy to get the job done extremely fast. Only one hour after I called they were at my house, as I urgently needed the help and within one more hour the hydro jetting was done which cleared my clogged drains. William then arrived and ran the camera done the drain to then provide me a full analysis of what happened and his insight was ultra valuation! Great guys, both very personal and chill. Would def hire again. Thank you!

Five stars all the way! Brody and Gibb with Rare Breed Plumbing were fantastic. They came out and repaired a leaking sink and also cleared a stubborn clog for me, and the entire experience was seamless from start to finish. Both were extremely personable, professional, and clearly knowledgeable—they’re a true asset to their team. They took the time to explain what was going on, worked efficiently, and left everything clean when they were done. On top of that, the price was very reasonable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and will absolutely call again for any future plumbing needs!

**Incomplete Work - Paid Thousands for "Full Repipe" That Wasn't Complete** I hired RareBreed Plumbing in April 2024 for what was sold to me as a complete replacement of all galvanized steel piping in my home. I paid thousands of dollars based on this understanding. I trusted this company because the owner, Court, had previously done excellent work at my home before he owned RareBreed. Unfortunately, this experience was drastically different: **Professionalism Issues:** - Two plumbers argued with each other throughout the workday while in my home - What should have been a professional job turned into an all-day event - By the end of the day, 5-6 plumbers were in my house trying to finish the work - I had to speak with the crew leader about the unprofessional behavior **Incomplete Work:** - About a week after the original work, I had to call them back because the P-trap under my bathroom sink was leaking due to incorrect measurements - On Christmas Eve 2025, I discovered water on my bathroom floor - The source was a leaking shutoff valve connected to OLD, CORRODED, RUSTED galvanized steel pipes that were NEVER REPLACED during the "complete repipe" - I had to make multiple trips to Home Depot on Christmas Eve to purchase galvanized steel pipe and repair it myself - I sent them photos clearly showing painted galvanized steel pipes with old paint rings, proving they predate the April 2024 work - During the callback for the P-trap repair, workers were directly under this sink yet never addressed or replaced these corroded pipes **Company Response:** When I called to address the unreplaced galvanized steel pipes, I was told on the phone that only drainage pipes are under warranty. This completely misses the point - these galvanized steel water lines should have been replaced during the ORIGINAL work in April 2024 as part of the complete pipe replacement I paid for. I was told Verbally, all pipes except copper would be replaced - that's why I agreed to spend thousands of dollars. I sent an email requesting a written explanation of why these pipes were not replaced as promised. The company has not responded to my email request. **Bottom Line:** I paid thousands of dollars for complete pipe replacement and received incomplete work. The corroded galvanized steel pipes I discovered on Christmas Eve should have been replaced when I paid for the job in April 2024. I cannot recommend this company based on this experience. If you hire RareBreed Plumbing, I strongly recommend: - Getting extremely detailed written quotes specifying exactly which pipes will be replaced - Taking before and after photos of ALL work areas - Inspecting all work thoroughly before final payment - Being prepared for potential professionalism issues during the work

We had a new water softener system added to our home and couldn’t be more pleased with the work performed by Brody. He was thorough, not pushy, totally in tune with the latest tech and designed a system that meets our needs and doesn’t go beyond our means. A trusted advisor for all your residential needs!

We had another great experience with Drain Tech Company. Eli has been to our home before, and once again he exceeded expectations. We were having an issue with our main drain line in the basement leading out to our septic tank. Eli immediately diagnosed the problem and knew exactly what needed to be done. He was friendly, highly knowledgeable, and took the time to explain every step of the process. He offered clear guidance on the best solution, which we approved, and then completed the job efficiently and professionally. What really stood out was his attention to detail and respect for our home. He carefully removed and reinstalled the toilet, laid down towels, and kept everything clean throughout the entire repair. When he finished, everything was working perfectly and the area was spotless. Eli is a true model of excellent customer service. A++ all the way. We highly recommend Drain Tech Company and will absolutely continue to use them in the future.

We had a slow drain and needed to have the line snaked. A friend recommended Drain Tech and we could not be more pleased with the level of service start to finish. I was able to make an appointment for the next day. Our tech, Jonny, was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and worked efficiently while explaining the process at each step. The price was also reasonable for the work done. I highly recommend Drain Tech .

We had a slow, clogged garage sink, and also needed our sewer line checked. I called Drain Tech yesterday, and was able to get this scheduled first thing this morning! John came out right on time. He was polite, thorough, and did a great job! He explained all the details to make sure we understood what he'd be doing, and recommended some optional future services. We've had Drain Tech out to work on other drains in the past, and have always been very satisfied. I highly recommend John, and Drain Tech!

This is the best plumber I recommend. Cruise is the owner, he received my call for clog drain in early at morning during the weekend, and show up hour late at my place. And help me unclog the drain. He really acknowledged at what he doing. We had it done with short period of time since I have the auger machine here already. And he does it for FREE. He is really nice guy. And he show me what maintenance we should do to keep the drain flow. And he give me the suggestion that we should do hydro jet with hot water to completely take care the problem.

Recently replaced the hardwood floors in our house. Last minute realized we had a fridge with water line, dishwasher with line and drain, and a gas range. All had to be disconnected for new floors. The crew that came was on time and very efficient. They also suggested disconnecting washer and dryer. Work was quick. Professional, for quoted price. They put everything back as soon as floor was installed. Would recomend these guys to anyone looking for Professional service, and courtesy at a reasonable price.

Tl;dr, they made incorrect recommendations which damaged our pipes and gave us quotes more than three times higher than competitors. We had water backing up from our main line into our basement laundry room. Called all hours since it was late at night before we were about to leave for a trip and they came the same night (speedy service, to their credit). The friendly plumber recommended either augering or hyrdojet to clear out the obstruction with scoping to see what’s blocking it and if any other repairs are needed. We were encouraged to do the hydrojetting ($1500) over the auger ($700) since they told us it would be safer for our pipes and less likely to damage them. We had them hydrojet the main line which did improve the water level for a couple days, and they found more extensive root damage and offset pipes and told us they’d come back to do a full quote. In the meantime, our toilet downstairs backed up and we had sewer water in our bathroom downstairs. They came back to see what happened and found that rust had flaked off of our cast iron pipes due to the hydrojetting. They recommended descaling our pipes to clear out the flakes, enamel coating them to prevent recurrence, and a “bubble” main line repair (basically lining the inside of the pipe that was damaged). All told they quoted us at 40k (not including the 1500 we already spent on the hydrojet). They offered us 10% off bringing it to 36k. After some calls to get other quotes we learned the following: -they never should have hydrojetted our cast iron pipes because the high pressure tends to cause the flaking off we experienced -the enamel coating they recommended (to the tune of 15k) is not necessary since descaling is all the interior pipes need -replacing the exterior pipe was recommended since the “bubble” fix occupies more space in an already narrow pipe which would make us more prone to blockages in the future -we went with a competitor whose quote to descale the interior pipes and completely replace the exterior pipes was $11,400 compared to their 36k. One other plumber would match the 11,400 and another quoted us at 13k. I imagine these guys are good for a clogged toilet in the middle of the night, but I do not recommend them for more extensive repairs. They were over three times the cost of competitors and they made bad recommendations for our home. True Trenchless is the place we chose instead. Update: after hearing about our negative experience, they reimbursed us $700.

Short - They charged us $400 for a Sat trip charge ($150 at most) to replace a capacitor part that I later found out only costs $35! That is a 715% markup! No response from several requests for a manager to call us. Pictures are of the box of his replacement and the original part, (capacitor) that went out. Full - Aug 26th we called All Hours Plumbing, Heating and Cooling to have them come look at our AC because it wasn't blowing cold air. We're were told the trip charge was $59 which would be applied to any service done. The technician looked over the outside unit and told us that the compressor was running hard which blew out a capacitor. I asked him if he could fix it and he said he wasn't sure if he had one but he'd go check. When he came back in he said he did and he could replace it today with a total of $400. I was shocked because it was so much and he said it was mostly the part. He showed me where it was on the unit and that it might go out again because the compressor was going out and running hard. I reluctantly paid the bill with a credit card for $400 and signed that he did the work. He never gave me a receipt or asked for an email address to send it to. He asked where our garbage can was outside and because it was inside the fence I just told him that I would throw the old part away. A couple hours after he left I decided to see if I could get a spare one in case it went out again and found out that it was a $20-$35 part! I can understand that there is labor to replace it and a same day trip but this is criminal! Even if the trip and labor charge was $150, for a Sat call, they still charged me $250 for the part! I would have never found out if I hadn't tried to order another part because he said this one may not last. We have tried to contact a manager or anyone several times regarding this and have never gotten a response. Maybe this review will get some sort of response. They have our contact information, they just choose not to contact us back because of the embarrassment of ripping me off.

Alejandro arrived on time and went above and beyond for us. After he found out we were new home owners, he took the time to educate me on the ins and outs of the plumbing workflow of our home. He was able to fix our issue quickly and provide quotes for a number of issues he found in the home. With no pressure to buy. Highly recommended this company.

We used CG Plumbing as part of our Basement Finishing project. They installed a full bathroom with tub/shower, toilet, and vanity sink. They installed a new tankless water heater with a recirculating pump. They provided us with a full water softening system and installed the salt tank in our garage to save room and make it easy to fill salt into the tank. They cared enough to recommend this innovative idea to make our lives easier. They installed a kitchen sink, disposal, and refrigerator water line. We are so happy with the quality of work they provided and the friendliness of their employees. I would recommend them 1000 times over!

Professional Drain Cleaning in Bountiful, Utah

Tucked against the Wasatch Range, Bountiful homeowners take pride in their 'City of Trees,' but those same beautiful landscapes often lead to complex root intrusions in local sewer lines. When a drain backs up in your Bountiful home, the last thing you want to do is spend your afternoon calling a dozen different companies only to find out they are booked for the week.

Our service changes the way Bountiful residents find help. We maintain a network of 15 certified local plumbing professionals and do the legwork for you. We filter providers by your specific zip code and personally call them to confirm they can solve your specific drain issue today. Whether you are living in the historic city center or up on the East Bench, we ensure you connect with a pro who is actually ready to work.

Common Drain Issues in Bountiful, Utah

Hard Water Mineral Buildup: Bountiful and the surrounding Wasatch Front are known for high mineral content in the water. Over time, calcium and magnesium scale can narrow your pipes, leading to slow drains and frequent clogs that standard plungers can't fix.

Wasatch Mountain Root Intrusions: The mature trees that Bountiful is famous for have aggressive root systems. These roots frequently find their way into older sewer lines seeking moisture, causing massive blockages that require professional augering or hydro-jetting.

Historic Home Pipe Corrosion: Many homes near Bountiful’s Main Street feature older plumbing infrastructure. Clay or cast-iron pipes in these older properties are susceptible to sagging and internal corrosion, which traps debris and causes repeated backups.

Spring Runoff Drainage Issues: As the snow melts off the mountains above Bountiful, the increased groundwater can put extra pressure on your home's drainage system. We often see basement floor drains back up during the spring thaw if the main line isn't perfectly clear.

Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for Bountiful, Utah

Winter Freeze Prevention: In Bountiful's freezing winters, ensure your pipes are well-insulated. A frozen pipe that eventually bursts can lead to catastrophic drainage failure once the ice melts.

Spring Runoff Prep: Before the heavy mountain snowmelt begins, have your main sewer line inspected. Clearing out minor debris now prevents the rising water table from pushing sewage back into your basement drains.

Fall Gutter and Drain Clearing: With Bountiful's heavy tree canopy, fall leaves quickly clog outdoor perimeter drains. Clear these out before the first snow hits to prevent 'ice damming' in your drainage system.

Summer Kitchen Maintenance: With summer BBQs and family gatherings being a Bountiful staple, avoid putting grease or fibrous vegetables like corn husks down the disposal, as these are the leading causes of kitchen clogs during the warmer months.

Average Drain Cleaning Costs in Bountiful, Utah

$145-$495

Standard Bountiful drain cleaning typically ranges based on the severity of the clog and the equipment required. Simple snake services are more affordable, while main line root removal or hydro-jetting falls on the higher end.

Frequently Asked Questions about Drain Cleaning in Bountiful, Utah

How quickly can you find a plumber in Bountiful for my drain emergency?

Because we scan our network and call to verify availability before you even talk to the plumber, we can often find a pro in the Bountiful area who can arrive within a few hours of your request.

Are the plumbers familiar with Bountiful's hard water issues?

Yes, we only work with certified local plumbers who understand the specific mineral scaling issues common in Davis County and the Wasatch Front.

Do you cover the East Bench and higher elevation areas of Bountiful?

Absolutely. We filter our network by zip code to ensure that the plumber we confirm for you is willing and able to service your specific neighborhood, including the higher elevation residential areas.

Can your Bountiful plumbers handle tree root removals?

Yes. When we call to confirm availability, we verify that the technician has the necessary equipment—like heavy-duty augers or hydro-jetters—to handle the thick root intrusions common in Bountiful's 'City of Trees' environment.

Why use your service instead of calling a Bountiful plumber directly?

We save you time and frustration. Instead of you calling multiple companies and hearing 'we're busy,' we do the filtering and calling for you, only connecting you with a Bountiful pro who has confirmed they can help you today.
