This is the best plumber I recommend. Cruise is the owner, he received my call for clog drain in early at morning during the weekend, and show up hour late at my place. And help me unclog the drain. He really acknowledged at what he doing. We had it done with short period of time since I have the auger machine here already. And he does it for FREE. He is really nice guy. And he show me what maintenance we should do to keep the drain flow. And he give me the suggestion that we should do hydro jet with hot water to completely take care the problem.

I had a fantastic experience with Great Basin Plumbing! Reese was our technician, and he did an outstanding job installing a new kitchen faucet and toilet, as well as clearing our sink drain. He was professional, efficient, and took the time to explain everything he was doing. You could tell he genuinely cared about doing quality work. The installation was flawless, and our new fixtures work perfectly. The sink drains better than ever! Reese also made sure to clean up after the job, which I really appreciated. If you’re looking for a reliable and skilled plumber, I highly recommend Great Basin Plumbing—especially Reese! Will definitely be using them again in the future!

We had a big issue in our basement bathroom, Neighborly Plumbing came in with a fair estimate and got the work done quickly, in budget and on schedule. They took extra care to protect and clean up after the job. Jack hammering, digging up pipe, replacing the damaged sewer pipe even replacing the concrete - everything was done as promised. These guys are great, I'll trust and call them again for any plumbing needs. Thanks Neighborly!

Had an unfortunate sewer backup a different plumber had helped me fix. That plumber cameraed the lines and told me I needed to tear out my pipes which would have cost over $8K. I called Neighborly Plumbing for a second opinion. They took a look at the pipes, and hopped down in the manhole to take a closer look. There was a ton of gunk in my pipe and in the manhole causing me issues and they instead recommended I jetted the pipe and get the manhole area clear. I felt a lot more sure about this recommendation and that they had my best interest in mind. Their quote for jetting my pipe was also significantly cheaper than the other plumbing company. I feel a lot more at ease now that my sewer pipes are clean, and I feel like the work was done for a very fair price. I can't thank Neighborly Plumbing enough for their assessment and work. The only thing that could have been better was faster scheduling. Other than that, they were awesome.

Earlier this year in the winter we had a pipe burst underneath our house suddently and got several bids from different plumbers to fix the issue. Several of them told us the problem was a rusted galvanized steel water main pipe running from the street to our house. We'd recently done landscaping in our front yard with pollinator-friendly plants, so we were hoping for a trenchless option with minimal digging. Most places said they'd need to excavate a large area and that some plants might get damaged in the process. One of the first plumbers had even asked, "How much do you care about this tree?" because their excavator would likely damage it. After we’d gotten several bids, we came across Neighborly through putting out a work request on Angie.com. Matt came out and figured out what the issue was very quickly. He was the only person to offer to hand-dig the access holes for a trenchless water main replacement so as not to damage any of the plants. He walked me through the yard and showed me exactly where he'd dig so there would be no impact to the landscaping. He also gave me a transparent estimate on-the-spot which ended up being the same price I paid. Their price was lower than the other bids for the same work, and Matt was also the only one to mention that they could install a temporary water line (a hose running from the street meter to a hose bib in our front yard) so we'd have water while we waited for work to begin the following week. They got that set up promptly, and when the day came to install the new water main, they took great care with the yard and got everything done in one day. We were very pleased with how everything was being handled that we also asked about replacing our old water heater with a tankless one, which had also sprung a leak around the same time as the water main issue. Matt gave good advice on how to move forward given the placement of our vents, and offered to reach out to a roofing contact he had since we'd need a small amount of roof work done for a new vent. We got everything scheduled and are very happy with how the water heater installation went as well. Matt also walked me through how to clean the tankless unit when it needs to be done annually. Julie, their receptionist and scheduler, was amazing throughout the whole process. She kept us updated on timing and payment, made us feel like a priority given that we were without water and hot water for several days, and always found answers to our questions, including around financing the project. Travis helped us work through all of our financing options and was flexible in finding a plan that fit with our current budget. We appreciate the care and transparency everyone at Neighborly brought to this, and will definitely be calling them for any future plumbing. Thank you so much for taking care with things. Everything has been working great!

Called Beehive to clean slow and backed up drains after reading quite a few reviews. They do a great job of explaining the work they will do, and being up front about costs. They sent a camera down almost 200 feet, and shared pictures of what they saw. A follow up visit was required, and they stood behind their work and were very fair. They also warned about possible future issues due to 60 year old cast iron pipes. They scheduled an estimate to go over options for long term fixes.

After the appointment was made just the afternoon prior, Tristen appeared at our door following a text and a photo of him letting us know he was on the way. Our water heater installation became more extensive than planned due to our incoming water pressure valve having gone out. Even with the additional work and code updates, he was done in less than 4hrs. I will never call Lowe’s or Home Depot again when I need to replace my water heater. Tristen was highly skilled, proved most trustworthy, and delivered a perfect result, with the efficiency of a true expert - which is incredible for being so young. He was friendly, professional and very prompt in the entire process. I would highly recommend Beehive Plumbing and thank you for sending Tristen!

I contacted Monkey Wrench Plumbing for a second opinion for some sewer line repairs. They were prompt in coming to my house and spent quite a bit of time evaluating the sewer line. They came up with a service plan that made sense to me and actually was more comprehensive than the first plumbing company I consulted. The job itself was a big undertaking and the team of Carlos, Tony, and Roman were great. They were very personable and communicated with me frequently. They demonstrated quality workmanship and good teamwork. They replaced an old basement drain as well. I appreciate their attention to detail. They will return one more day to deal with the finishing touches to my xeriscaped yard. Highly recommend this company.

TLDR; Call these guys, they’ll take good care of you and your home 🙏 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 We had a pretty stressful situation this morning when a toilet supply line randomly burst and sprayed water everywhere in our third floor bathroom. Before we knew it, water leaked down three floors through the walls, the ceiling, everywhere. Total nightmare. We called Monkey Wrench Plumbing and they were able to get someone out the same day, which saved us. Kyle was our technician and he was great. Super down-to-earth, easy to talk to, and clearly knew what he was doing. He explained that the old builder-grade plastic supply line had failed (which apparently happens more than you’d think) and walked us through what he was going to replace it with. He swapped out the cheap plastic line and valve for a braided metal one that’s much more durable and built to last. It feels good knowing we won’t have to worry about that happening again. What really stood out was that they also helped get a restoration company out that same day to start dealing with the water damage. When you’re standing in a house with water coming through ceilings, that kind of quick coordination means everything. Overall, just a really solid local company that shows up when you need them. Hopefully we don’t have another plumbing emergency anytime soon, but if we do, we’re calling them again without hesitation. Highly recommend.

Carlos, Tony, Onni and crew did a fabulous job with such a quick turnaround time. My water main was leaking heavily and not only were they able to put a new one in and route it in the best way possible, they brought the shut off valve to an accessible location in my home. Big shoutout to them for the great work done!

Eddie and Landon did a great job cutting in a new clean-out and auguring our under-the-basement sewer line. Then sent a camera down to assure us it had been cleaned out and had no major issues. Since the line was quite scaled up, Eddie recommended a product that would clean the sludge up and do an even better job - in a 50year old line. we had major work done 10 months ago, replacing part and relining part of the sewer line from the house to the main line. Valley did a great job. At that time I purchased the membership which was around $80. And due to that, we saved over $200 on this project. I believe Valley plumbing is honest, Efficient, does quality work and to top it off, cleans up after themselves afterwards. I would recommend them to anyone needing plumbing inside or out.

Jeremy Gellersen from Valley Plumbing Heating & Cooling was absolutely outstanding! He responded quickly and arrived at our home the same day we called about a leaking pipe behind the shower wall. From the moment he stepped inside, Jeremy was incredibly respectful of our home—careful with our belongings, using drop cloths and booties, and leaving everything spotless when he finished. He took the time to thoroughly explain what was causing the leak, walked us through the repair process step by step, and answered every question with patience and clarity. No rush, no jargon we couldn’t understand—just honest, informative communication. He expertly accessed and repaired the leaking pipe behind the wall, and the job was done cleanly and efficiently. We’re so grateful for his professionalism, skill, and genuinely kind demeanor. Jeremy is a true professional and we wouldn’t hesitate to call him again or recommend him to anyone needing top-notch plumbing service. If you want great work done right the first time, ask for Jeremy Gellersen—you won’t be disappointed! 5 stars all the way.

My technician, Mitch, was fantastic. He arrived early in the window I was given, he was incredible knowledgeable, and took the time to make sure I understood all of my options for solutions to my leaking water heater. He was very respectful of my house, and made sure to care for my place as he worked in it. He told me exactly what he was going to do, and did it in the time he said it would take, at the price he quoted me. Working with Valley Plumbing was a great experience, which was refreshing after the frustration of having my water heater go out!

I highly recommend Millcreek Plumbing! I needed to have the original galvanized steel water main line in my 85-year-old home replaced. Jared from Millcreek Plumbing was very easy to work with throughout the entire process. As a new homeowner, this was my first major plumbing project, and Jared provided a thorough, easy-to-understand explanation of the work involved. On the day of the job, Jared and his entire crew were professional and treated my property with great care. They even took the time to carefully restore my grass and mulch back to its original condition after digging underneath it to access the water main. Millcreek Plumbing will definitely be my first call the next time I need any plumbing work done.

Professional Drain Cleaning in Midvale, Utah

Midvale sits at the heart of the Salt Lake Valley, a community where historic charm near the city center meets modern growth around Bingham Junction. While we enjoy easy access to the Wasatch Mountains, Midvale homeowners often face unique plumbing challenges. From aging sewer lines in established neighborhoods to the heavy mineral content found in our local water supply, keeping your pipes flowing requires professional attention.

Our service eliminates the frustration of calling plumber after plumber only to be told they are booked for the week. We monitor a network of local experts specifically serving Midvale and the surrounding I-15 corridor. When you reach out, we instantly filter for pros in your exact zip code and personally call them to verify they have a technician available to handle your drain emergency before we ever connect you.

Common Drain Issues in Midvale, Utah

Hard Water Mineral Scale: Midvale residents deal with some of the hardest water in Utah. Over time, calcium and magnesium deposits build up inside your pipes, narrowing the passage and causing slow drains that standard store-bought cleaners simply cannot dissolve.

Invasive Root Growth: In the older residential pockets of Midvale, mature trees are common. Their roots are naturally drawn to the moisture in sewer lines. If you have older clay or cast iron pipes, these roots can cause structural damage and total blockages during the spring growth season.

Clay Soil Shifting: The soil composition in the Salt Lake Valley, including Midvale, has a high clay content that expands and contracts with Utah’s extreme temperature swings. This movement can cause 'bellies' or sags in your main sewer line where debris collects and creates frequent clogs.

Winter Grease Solidification: During our freezing Midvale winters, fats and oils rinsed down kitchen sinks solidify much faster inside your pipes. These 'fatbergs' are a leading cause of emergency kitchen backups for local families during the holiday season.

Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for Midvale, Utah

Fall Pipe Preparation: Before the first major Utah freeze, ensure your outdoor hose bibs are disconnected and yard drains are clear of fallen leaves to prevent localized flooding during the spring thaw.

Winter Vent Maintenance: Check your roof's plumbing vent stacks after a heavy Midvale snowstorm. If they become blocked by snow or ice, it can cause slow drainage and allow sewer gases to enter your home.

Spring Sump Pump Checks: As snow melts off the mountains and the Salt Lake Valley water table rises, ensure your basement floor drains and sump pumps are clear of debris and fully operational.

Summer Irrigation Awareness: If you use secondary water for landscaping, be mindful not to wash silt or sandy soil into your driveway or basement drains, as Midvale’s sediment can harden and cause significant underground blockages.

Average Drain Cleaning Costs in Midvale, Utah

$155-$445

Midvale pricing is based on the complexity of the clog. Standard sink or toilet augering is typically more affordable, while main line hydro-jetting or video camera inspections for older homes near the city center fall on the higher end of the spectrum.

Frequently Asked Questions about Drain Cleaning in Midvale, Utah

How quickly can you find a plumber in Midvale?

Because we filter specifically by your Midvale zip code and call to verify immediate availability, we can typically find a certified plumber who can be at your door within 2 to 4 hours.

Are your Midvale plumbers available for 24-hour emergencies?

Yes. Our network includes 24/7 emergency service providers in the Midvale area. We verify their current schedule before confirming the appointment with you, ensuring you aren't left waiting.

Why do my drains in Midvale smell like sulfur in the summer?

This is often caused by bacteria buildup in your P-traps or a dried-out floor drain. Given Midvale's dry climate, water can evaporate quickly. We can find a pro to perform a deep-clean of your system to eliminate these odors.

Do you serve neighborhoods near Fort Union or Bingham Junction?

Yes, our zipcode filtering covers all of Midvale, including the Fort Union shopping area, the newer developments at Bingham Junction, and the historic neighborhoods near Main Street.

Will I have to pay a dispatch fee to find out if someone is available?

No. Our verification service is designed to confirm availability before you are committed to a service call, saving you the time and hassle of calling around yourself.
