Awesome! They helped us clear our drain and were so quick about it. We did have to wait a day or so to get them out here, but I think that’s to be expected in a high demand service. Great work!

Please read!! I have used this company a few times. They have been good about coming on holidays and weekends. This time I had a problem and called them. They came. They were here for about 30 min and wanted payment for over $900 to snake my drain. I asked to have an itemized statement to be sent to me. Last time it was $500 on a holiday. This time it was $900 on a weekend. So I wanted to verify charges. They were paid by a credit card. After asking several times for a statement still have not received one and they sent us a bill with interest after they have already been paid. Now we are being phone blocked with no reply from them. PLEASE watch out!! Will never use again and will let everyone know about this. This is not ok!!! It’s bad enough having sewage in your basement, then having to deal with this!!

We had an issue with water backing up our floor drains in our building. We had a plumber come by, but their snake wasn't long enough to get the clog out by the road. We called Roto-Rooter, and they came out later the same day. It only took them about half an hour to clear the blockage, and solve the problem. Todd was super responsive, professional, and knowledgable. We wouldn't hesitate to call them again if we have the need. Great operation!

I hired Javier to clear my main sewer line. I was impressed that upon arrival to my house he wanted to do a quick inspection of the sinks, showers, drains, garbage disposal and toilet. He looked at the main water shutoff and the pressure release. He ran a large auger through a vent pipe on the roof and was able to pull out a large ball of hair and soap scum. My house is 25 years old and sewer line is in good condition, so Javier provided me with information and education to keep it that way. He was on time, worked quickly and reasonably priced. I will use him in the future if I have any plumbing needs.

After months of delay, he blocked my business partners phone number after doing the job wrong in this building were renovating. I’d never recommend using this company. They are slow to respond and do a bad job.

While selling my home the buyers home inspector said we had a flat spot and a “crushed” pipe. Called these guys to see what my options were. They had me send the home inspectors video to them, gave me a diagnoses to jet out and re scope. They came out the next day to jetted out the sewer pipe and do a scope. Turns out I had no issues other than a slightly oval pipe. They literally saved me thousands of dollars. John was the guy that came out, he definitely knew his stuff, would not hesitate to recommend them. Not to mention I called them Sunday afternoon and not only did they answer but went above and beyond on a day I’m sure they didn’t want to be working.

Simply the Best Better than all the rest !!! He came and fixed sewage back up immediately. Educated me on all of the different problems were running into wit old sewage mains. and located them for me. Along with video of exactly what is going on inside sewage main. The education of where ,how and condition of the sewer main at our family property was worth the charge alone. And you have got to love the owner Professional clean and fun nice guy.

Apex is great. When you call you get an actual person and they use tools that help them schedule and communicate with you during the day over Text. Their email system for their quotes worked really well and they did great work during the last three updates we needed to the house. Had toilet fixed, drips fixed, faucets replaced, expansion tank and vent pipe updating, and drains. I always call Apex first and have never had to call anyone else!

We do not recommend going with Apex Plumbing. We had a toilet clog and sewage backed up into our tub. We contacted Apex to fix the problem through our home warranty. The plumber who came was only here for about five minutes before leaving. After he left, we discovered that he had forced something through the pipes enough that sewage backed up into our utility room, soaking our drywall, new carpet, and various belongings with sewage. There was also a pile of sewage all over our driveway from a sewer line the plumber would have walked over to get to his car. Additionally, the toilet clogged again with the next flush. We contacted Apex a second time and the plumber came out and fixed the clog, but didn’t touch any of the utility room. When we contacted them about cleaning, they claimed they are not liable for the flood and subsequent damage. Now we have a basement covered in sewage and are much worse off after working with them.

Had a water supply line moved. I have used Apex before per recommendation. They communicate the schedule very well, show up when scheduled and respond to your calls and questions. Both times the apex plumbers were clean, friendly. I am very happy with the quality of work and the great communication.

Like others on here I can't say enough good about Scott and the team at Restore. I have an old house with a complicated sewer line that was having issues and I am so glad I called Scott. They were able to come out the next morning even though I called late in the day and they showed up with everything ready to solve the problem. Their price was similar to other companies in the area but their price was more inclusive, including a camera inspection, instead of a lower price with added on fees and thank goodness for that. Our sewer line was long with several corners and different pipes to connect to the city main line. Not only were they able to clear out the blockage, their camera inspection ensured the problem was actually solved and wouldn't just reoccur after they left. Without the camera inspection we would not have truly known what the issue was and it would've happened again in no time! The technician Bryan was very helpful and thorough and sent pictures documenting the work, mapping of where the line was and a video of the inspection to verify and show areas that may need to be addressed in the future. I can't overstate how helpful this was! He also provided a couple of recommendations to help us avoid problems in the future and let me know what their team could do to help if we needed. Knowing that their team has the capabilities to not only solve a simple problem but is also able to resolve complicated issues all the way to re-piping or replacement was very convenient and gave me confidence in the service. I had already had another plumber hand me off because they couldn't address the sewer line issue and I did not want to try and find yet another contractor if the issue was too complicated. I'll say again I am grateful for the team at Restore for their competence, communication and professionalism and would highly recommend using them!

Jerold with Restore Pipe Systems went above and beyond helping to do a sewer pipe inspection for a new home I am in process of purchasing. He helped me understand a concern I had with piping and was also able to get to some places I wasn't able to see with other inspections to help me understand overall state of the pipes. I especially like that he exhibited high integrity when he had to remove an old toilet and seal to do a proper sewer line diagnosis and a part couldn't be put back on because because of old and specialized seal that was required and he covered that on his own which wasn't expected.

We hired Canyon Plumbing for a serious sewer backup issue in our basement — toilet bubbling, tub filling, and the floor drain overflowing. They diagnosed a cracked section of main line and quoted $3,000–$4,000, with a note that pricing could change. We understood that and agreed. The first repair ended up costing $6,000, which we accepted. Then we were told the line to the city tap was completely plugged and needed to be hydro-jetted by another company. After that, they ran a camera and said there were “bellies” in another 60–65 feet of pipe that needed replacement. We trusted their expertise and approved the work. At this point we were $14,500 in. Only after all of this, they ran more cameras and told us the grade (slope) of the line is too low and that the system still won’t drain correctly. Now we’re being told we either need: • Another $14,000+ in excavation to redo the line toward the city OR • Install a sewage ejector pump system inside the house Our concern is simple: Why was the grade/slope issue not identified at the beginning, before thousands of dollars of repairs were approved? Slope is a fundamental part of sewer line function. It’s hard to understand how multiple camera inspections and major pipe replacement happened without this being clearly identified upfront. We feel like we kept approving work based on the belief that each step was solving the problem, only to be told later that a more serious underlying issue still exists. The communication about long-term viability and total scope of repair did not feel clear or complete. The technicians were polite, but from a homeowner standpoint this has felt like a constantly expanding project with major new costs discovered after each phase. We recommend anyone using this company request a full system evaluation, including grade/slope verification, before approving large repairs.

Quick to respond to evaluate the situation. Price was included in bill. Showed up the next day. Removed old plumbing, replaced with better p trap configuration. Tub drain works like a charm. Had to work with limited space and was done in less than 4 hours. Very knowledgeable employee. Definitely recommend for any future projects thanks

My experience with Canyon was awesome. I called about a half hour before closing and Callie was so sweet and helpful. She told me she would get ahold of Steve to see if he could stop by and take a look at my heater. She called me back within 5 minutes and said he was on his way. When Steve arrived he introduced himself and went to work looking at my furnace and determining the problem to be the snow on top of my roof was causing it to not get enough oxygen. He climbed up on the roof and cleared away the snow and got it running again. He was very kind and took pictures and recommended that I get the exhaust and intake termination replaced and explained why. He later sent an estimate of the work that needs to be done to ensure heater runs properly. I was impressed with the professional way both Steve and Callie treated me throughout the whole experience. I am looking forward to working with them both again. Thank you so much! K Bowen Logan Ut

We scheduled a seat bidet install. We received an immediate text confirmation of our appointment with a time window after our phone call was made. On the day of the appointment we received another text that Josh was on the way as well as his picture for identification purposes. A little over an hour later he finished the work. Great job working in a very tight space that my husband was not up for! Thank you!

Good service but SUPER pricey. I paid $120 for a service call, which got jacked up to $150 because they spent 5 min using a hand auger to clear a toilet, that they already knew about before coming out. UPDATE: Apex refunded me $30 down to the original $120 they said they charged for a service call.

I had my carpets cleaned by this company and the Tech was amazing he actually took extra time to help me get my hot water problem fixed and that was extra work on his part but he didn't charge me for that. He was very easy to talk to and showed he really cared about customers and that I wasn't just a job. Very good customer service. I highly recommend this place, just be sure to ask for Roy to be your Tech I promise you will be treated with respect and support. Ann Cross

Kendall was awesome! He did 2 huge projects for us - a corner fireplace refacing overhaul, and a desk/cabinet nook - as well as several smaller projects. He spent time consulting and listening so he understood exactly what we wanted, and he even made some suggestions that improved the overall plan. His attention to detail surpassed my admittedly annoying perfectionist tendencies and we couldn't be happier with the finished results. He was respectful of our home, our family, and our time and we were very comfortable having him in our home. He did great work and we won't hesitate to have him do more projects for us in the future.

I called Lee's Plumbing because they had done a major repair for my cousin. They scheduled for the next day and even though we had a heavy snowstorm, Andrew arrived prepared for anything the job needed. He was professional and pleasant. He gave us a complete explanation of the service and quote. He found another small problem which was a $10 fix and did that as well to save us a future problem. We were very pleased with the service and the price was reasonable. We would highly recommend them.

UPDATED: After leaving this review the manager called and asked what he could do to fix this situation. We talked and told him the story and he was understanding and asked what he could do to fix the situation. It was nice to be heard. Our house had a problem were we were not getting hot water to the showers as well as the length of time on when the water was getting hot coming out of the faucet. We did a descale on water heater, cleaned the filter and nothing worked. So we called Lee's Plumbing. First off, they fixed the problem. The problem was they would not take the time to listen to what we had already done. We tried to talk to the service man on what we had done but he would not listen. He let us know that everything was fine and working. After three hours we were finally able to let him know that to take a shower in the master you have to turn on the master sink. The service man then says, why didn't you say so? It was so frustrating because he didn't listen at the beginning and was doing things that we already had taken care of. He went into the master bath and changed out the cartridge in the sink, checked the water and it worked. Again, it took three hours to fix this, they did not listen and the charge was $315. If they would have listened it would have been 30 min. Be cautious if you use them as our experience is they don't care about you or what you say, they are only there to make the money and to waste time. It was frustrating to say the least.

The team was quick to take care of us which was super nice but communication seemed frazzled. I was told it would take a few days for them to come to my house initially which is fine, and then they called me in the middle of the day while I was at work and no one was home saying they wanted to come over right then. Had to get my spouse to come home quickly to meet them. I guess they needed a different part and said they might come in the next day or two to fully fix the shower. No one ever contacted me about a time but they arrived the next day so it was a miracle someone was home to let them in. Good service for sure, but I found scheduling with them to be a bit of a hassle.

Clay did an amazing job! After coming to our house to fix our water heater and switch out parts, he saw that the inside of our 12 year old water heater had collapsed and we needed a new one. We finally got our new one today and he did such a great job. Installed it in about 3 hours and it’s all shiny and pretty now. So happy we have a new water heater. Thanks to Clay and Josh for helping us through this crazy past week. These guys are the best!!!

Verify Availability Before You Call

Professional Drain Cleaning in Logan, Utah

Logan residents know that the unique climate of Cache Valley and the variety of housing—from historic homes near Utah State University to new developments in South Logan—can lead to complex plumbing challenges. When a drain clogs, you don't have time to call a dozen companies only to find they are booked out for weeks. Our service changes the way you find local help.

We proactively manage a network of 10 certified Logan plumbers. When you contact us, we don't just give you a list; we filter those professionals by your specific zip code and then personally call them to confirm they have an opening to help you today. We do the legwork to ensure that when we connect you, the plumber is ready, verified, and available to get your home's water flowing freely again.

Common Drain Issues in Logan, Utah

Hard Water Mineral Buildup: Logan is known for its high mineral content, which leads to significant scale buildup inside pipes. Over time, these calcium deposits narrow the diameter of your drains, causing chronic slow drainage and stubborn clogs that standard plungers can't reach.

Tree Root Intrusion in Historic Districts: In Logan’s more established neighborhoods, beautiful old trees often have root systems that seek out moisture in aging sewer lines. These roots can penetrate clay or cast iron pipes, leading to recurring main line backups that require professional intervention.

Frozen Exterior Drains: With Logan's frigid winter temperatures, pipes in unheated crawlspaces or exterior drainage lines are prone to freezing. This not only stops drainage but can cause pipes to burst, leading to expensive water damage once the spring thaw begins.

High-Density Housing Clogs: In areas with high student populations or multi-family units, kitchen drains often suffer from excessive grease and food waste. Cold winter temperatures cause this grease to solidify quickly in the pipes, creating solid blockages that demand heavy-duty cleaning.

Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for Logan, Utah

Fall Gutter and Drain Clearing: Before the first heavy Cache Valley snowfall, clear all debris from your outdoor drains and gutters to prevent ice dams and basement flooding during the winter months.

Winter Pipe Insulation: Given Logan’s sub-zero winter nights, ensure any exposed pipes in your garage or basement are properly insulated to prevent freezing and ensure your drains remain functional all season long.

Spring Sump Pump Testing: As the snow melts off the Bear River Range, the local water table can rise significantly. Test your floor drains and sump pumps in the spring to ensure they can handle the increased groundwater runoff.

Summer Root Maintenance: If you live in an area with mature trees, summer is the best time to have a camera inspection of your sewer line to catch invasive root growth before it leads to a total blockage in the fall.

Average Drain Cleaning Costs in Logan, Utah

$125-$475

Pricing in Logan varies based on the severity of the clog. A simple sink or tub snake is generally more affordable, while main line clearing or hydro-jetting for mineral-heavy pipes reflects the specialized equipment and labor required.

Frequently Asked Questions about Drain Cleaning in Logan, Utah

How quickly can you find a plumber in Logan?

Because we verify availability across our local network of 10 plumbers specifically for your zip code, we can often find a professional who can arrive at your Logan home within a few hours.

Does Logan’s hard water affect how often I need drain cleaning?

Yes, Cache Valley's hard water causes mineral scale to build up more quickly than in other regions. We recommend professional cleaning every 1-2 years to prevent these deposits from causing total blockages.

Do you offer emergency drain services on weekends in Logan?

Absolutely. We call and confirm 24-hour availability with our Logan-based plumbing network so you don't have to worry about finding someone available on a Saturday night or during a holiday.

Are the plumbers in your network familiar with older Logan homes?

Yes, the 10 certified plumbers we work with have extensive experience with both the historic plumbing systems near the USU campus and the modern drainage systems in newer Logan developments.

How do I know the plumber you find is reliable?

We only work with a hand-selected network of certified professionals in Logan. By calling them to verify their availability for your specific issue, we ensure you are only connected with a pro ready to provide high-quality service.
