24 Hour Rooter Connectionz Plumbing & Drain Cleaning
3727 S State St, Salt Lake City, UT 84115, USA
(801) 997-8761I had a super great experience today with this company and the hyro jetting service they provided. Jake made it super easy to get the job done extremely fast. Only one hour after I called they were at my house, as I urgently needed the help and within one more hour the hydro jetting was done which cleared my clogged drains. William then arrived and ran the camera done the drain to then provide me a full analysis of what happened and his insight was ultra valuation! Great guys, both very personal and chill. Would def hire again. Thank you!
1 year agoI called 24 hour Rooter Connectionz because I flushed a cleaning brush down the toilet. They came out the same day I called. The two young men were cordial and I liked them right away, but they couldn't get the job done. I was charged $300 up front in cash or they wouldn't even start working. That should have been a red flag but I didn't recognize it as the first step in a fraudulent transaction. The second thing I ignored is that they were both dressed in street clothes, not plumbing clothes with a company nametag. They pulled the toilet and said they could see the end of the brush but they couldn't reach it. They also contradicted themselves later and said the brush might have gone out to the public sewer system which would be a huge job and very expensive. I admit I was very worried. Later I found out that's what the P-trap is for, to prevent something like a brush or toy to get into the public system but I was alone with them and in a vulnerable situation at the age of 73 and didn't know any better. After talking to their manager, John Jordan, they said I would have to get a new toilet because if they tried to remove the brush they could crack the porcelain. The cost of a new toilet with installation was $750. They casually told me I should probably replace the downstairs toilet as well, since it was older than 10 years and didn't have a lot of flushing power. The total bill was going to be $2100. When I told them I would have to call my husband and get his opinion and get back to them, they said I would have to make a decision in 10 minutes or the store would be closed for the day. Third red flag! We weren't ready to make that decision in such a short time, so we asked them if we could mull it over and get back to them tomorrow, They said they couldn't guarantee that price unless we acted immediately. 4th red flag! They left without giving me an invoice. 5th red flag. I had to ask for an emailed invoice and the only thing I got was a copy of the new toilet proposal. When I finally got an invoice the next day the it didn't make sense. Quantity Price Total 1.00 $223.63 $223.63 Member Savings $33.22 Sub-Total $299.00 Tax $0.00 Total Due $299.00 That night I looked up their company and found out they had multiple fines of up to $2000 for a period of four years for violation of doing business without a license. The next day we called Millcreek Plumbing and Jessie came over. We videoed the process of him pulling the toilet, looking in the P-trap for the brush with a hand-held mirror, and pulling the brush out in less than five minutes. Stay away from this company! I doubt very much the two young men who came to my house even had a plumbing license. The company is in the sales business, not the repair business. By the way, when I talked to John Jordan on the phone and told him about Jesse from Millcreek, he was extremely rude and defensive. He said lifting the toilet up again could have dislodged the brush! He wouldn't budge on any refund. I asked him what I paid $300 for and he said his employees work for a living.
3 weeks agoDevan was very informative and did a thorough inspection of our furnace. He was able to explain where upcoming service would be needed and why. We appreciated his knowledge and expertise!
3 months agoA&B Sewer & Drain Cleaning
1061 Major St, Salt Lake City, UT 84111, USA
(801) 860-3774If you need vacuum-truck service, the owner of A&B Sewer really knows his stuff. He offered a fair price for the right service. The competition wanted to charge me 10-30x more for either the "nuclear solution" or making my problem (gravel in my main sewer drain) the city's problem (and potentially mine again down the road). He had the right equipment and technique to safely and effectively eliminate an issue which had been cropping up for years. Just be patiently persistent in communicating and scheduling, and you won't go wrong. Thanks, Tom & Torrey!
2 years agoCalled A & B to ask if they could help us out, after our sewer backed-up on Thanksgiving. It took us until Friday afternoon to get the septic cap exposed, so it was a long shot find someone who could come help us on a Friday evening, and a holiday weekend to boot! Tom answered our call and came to the rescue sending us 2 great team members, Jared and Isaac. They arrived quickly and got right to work. They were professional and did a fantastic job. Great service from the moment we called to the moment they finished. True life-savers! Highly recommend!
1 year agoWith a 600 ft clogged French drain, I made 20 phone calls before reaching A & B. They were not afraid of the challenge and did a brilliant job in freeing the drain in 2 hours. I was delighted when the ground water disbursed. They delivered. Lots of plumbers will clean a 3” 100 ft drain. A&B could handle an 8” pipe
2 years agoNeighborly Plumbing and Drain Cleaning
9764 Granite Hills Dr E, Sandy, UT 84092, USA
(385) 475-2605After researching 3-4 plumbing options, I found their price for Hydro Jetting to be competitive and fair. Hired Neighborly Plumbing to hydro jet a secondary line that was causing drain backups in the bathtub from our washing machine. They also snaked the line. They were responsive, fast, and very knowledgable. When I had a concern, Julie the customer service rep was kind and patient while listening to my concerns, then resolved them quickly. The technicians Antonio and Nathaniel were friendly and explained to me everything they were doing and finding. Really happy with their work and customer service experience.
1 month agoWe had a big issue in our basement bathroom, Neighborly Plumbing came in with a fair estimate and got the work done quickly, in budget and on schedule. They took extra care to protect and clean up after the job. Jack hammering, digging up pipe, replacing the damaged sewer pipe even replacing the concrete - everything was done as promised. These guys are great, I'll trust and call them again for any plumbing needs. Thanks Neighborly!
2 months agoHad an unfortunate sewer backup a different plumber had helped me fix. That plumber cameraed the lines and told me I needed to tear out my pipes which would have cost over $8K. I called Neighborly Plumbing for a second opinion. They took a look at the pipes, and hopped down in the manhole to take a closer look. There was a ton of gunk in my pipe and in the manhole causing me issues and they instead recommended I jetted the pipe and get the manhole area clear. I felt a lot more sure about this recommendation and that they had my best interest in mind. Their quote for jetting my pipe was also significantly cheaper than the other plumbing company. I feel a lot more at ease now that my sewer pipes are clean, and I feel like the work was done for a very fair price. I can't thank Neighborly Plumbing enough for their assessment and work. The only thing that could have been better was faster scheduling. Other than that, they were awesome.
4 months agoMr. Rooter Plumbing of South Salt Lake
2880 S Main St #210, Salt Lake City, UT 84115, USA
(385) 399-6380I had a fantastic experience with Mr. Rooter Plumbing. Brian Shepard arrived right on time, was an absolute gentleman in my home, and cleared two drains quickly, quietly, and without making a mess. He was truly a delight to work with. I’m so happy I called my friends at Mr. Rooter—Brian and Wade. From start to finish, the experience was seamless and stress-free. I will never call another plumber again. Highly recommend!
4 months agoMr Rooter did an excellent job on cleaning out all roots in this sewer line. Great communication and very professional. Would highly recommend
7 months agoA fiber optic cable installation contractor damaged our sewer line when boring for the underground cable installation creating significant problems. Wade and his people at Mr. Rooter went to great lengths coordinating with the cable installation contractor to get the sewer line repaired, even working until midnight in December to get the repair done so we didn't have anymore problems. Talk about dedication to customer service!
6 months agoStott Plumbing & Excavating
165 Gregson Ave S, Salt Lake City, UT 84115, USA
(801) 467-2432We needed a cracked sewer pipe repaired, and Stott was the excavation and plumbing service used for the repair by our sewer line insurance provider. The repair was about 185' from our house under a public roadway with a pipe depth of about 12'. Permits, excavators, shoring, dump trucks, asphalt trucks and compactors... the works. From flagging off the road to done under 4 days time, including the day to pre-cut and prep for excavation. We sincerely appreciate the execution of the repair that was performed. The communication from the team, and specifically Cody, the work lead, was punctual and thorough to coordinate the site work. The schedule was easy for us to communicate to our neighbors, who were also impacted (since this repair was under the roadway not even on our property). The site was left in an excellent condition with asphalt ready to drive on two days after the repair.
2 weeks agoI bought the Homeserve insurance and hoped I never needed it. Yip we had a main line water leak right under the cement sidewalks and our walk way. At the end of the day We have water, the yard was put back together nicely and the insurance covered it all, and no sidewalks got dug up. Stott’s was here all day. I am surprised and please at the results. I just wanted to say they performed above my expectations.
5 months agoThe technician was great when he first came out for an exterior line warranty call. He gave us a verbal bid, telling us that our leak was covered in the warranty and that he would double check to make sure the hose bib replacement in the back yard was covered, since the crack and leak was due to the leak in our front line. He then quoted us to replace the hose bib on the front of the house around $450. Great. The bid tech sat out front for at least a half hour, making sure everything was good and setting up the appointment. Fast forward to the replacement, everything went great. I got a call to make the payment. I was only charged $350. I thought great. We caught a deal. Thought that was the end of it. Got a call a month later telling me we owe another $300 because the hose bib in the back wasn't covered. So, why wasn't this addressed with the initial payment? I never got a physical copy of the initial bid, nor did I get a receipt for my initial payment. When questioning why I was charged that way, I was told they didn't know because the person I initially spoke with doesn't work there anymore. I'm mainly frustrated with the poor communication and the lack of paperwork. The work itself was acceptable.
1 week agoExpert Services - Plumbing, Heating, Air & Electrical
2330 S Main St #7, Salt Lake City, UT 84115, USA
(801) 810-7985Mika was awesome! We had to get our sewer line replaced earlier this month and he did everything he could to get us the help we needed. The plumbing manager, Aaron, did great keeping us up to date on their communications with the city. The rest of the crew who came out to help (I think Lyric, Toni, and Brandon based on my texts, but there might have been more and I apologize if I missed anybody), were great as well--they were very polite and if they needed to discuss something with us they did a great job explaining it and making sure we were okay with everything. When they were done they spent a lot of time making sure our lawn was as good as they could make it before they left. I'm very happy with everything. Everything works great!
3 months agoWhen I want my plumbing fixed, I'd like it to be fixed in a way that the problem does not come back. You get what you pay for and I'd rather pay a little extra up-front than pay twice when the first repair fails and it has to be done again. We have had excellent experience with Expert Services for Plumbing. Especially David and David, Chandler and Mika deserve shout-outs for the quality of their work, their explanation of what they were going to do and why and their recommendations. We had a MASSIVE disaster when our connection with the main sewer system broke. Mika rode to the rescue at short notice and the Expert team involved a disaster mitigation company and by the time I got back, everything was fixed and cleaned. David gave us great recommendations for our plumbing system and implemented them. Chandler replaced our water heaters and changed the configuration so that the chance of future water heater failure is much reduced. They work clean and are very competent. I will hire them again.
3 months agoMark and Jonathon were fantastic and extremely professional. The job ended up being more difficult than anticipated but they were extremely knowledgeable about how to proceed. For reference, they had to move water pipes and a gas line for us and it was a huge task they accomplished. Would recommend them to anyone as they were fantastic to work with and the company is not Private Equity owned. You can tell they are committed to providing a great service for a fair price, unlike most other plumbing companies in SLC

(385) 276-4877I'm glad I gave these guys a call when I went into my utility room and heard a spraying noise and felt the tropical humidity of the burst thermal tank of our water heater system. Anthony came within about thirty minutes of the call, and he took the time to teach us all the things that were wrong with our setup. You don't know what you don't know! Grateful for experts who take the time to explain and teach. I felt like I could trust what he was telling me. Hard to know always what to do in an emergency, but we felt good about his assessment and plan and price for it all. And within about two hours, all was repaired and rearranged for the better. He also patiently explained other things we might do on our own or have him do later if we want. He personally sent me before and after pictures. Now we know a thermal tank needs changing, a water heater needs yearly draining, and things to do to get closer up to code in our special aging house. Appreciate the quick and professional and friendly service.
5 months agoI cannot say enough good things about One Tom Plumber and Ryder Williams. We had an after-hours plumbing issue, and Ryder was on site within an hour. His response time, professionalism, and communication were outstanding from start to finish. Ryder quickly diagnosed the problem, explained everything clearly, and got us taken care of without any hassle. It's rare to find vendors who are this responsive, knowledgeable, and committed to customer service, especially after hours. One Tom Plumber continues to prove why they are one of the best in the business. Fast, reliable, professional, and easy to work with. If you need a plumbing company you can trust, I highly recommend One Tom Plumber and Ryder Williams. Absolutely outstanding service.
2 weeks agoSo I had a PRV that was too old to fix, and a very odd plumbing setup in this 1979 house. I tried to fix but it needed full replacement. 1-tom is the first plumber I've ever worked with since owning a home. The job was unique, and maybe a little bit more intense than expected. We sadly ran into issues with leaking and the work not taking well. What I am impressed with is even through the mistakes and upsets, that this company FULLY BACKED THEIR WORK. They didn't charge me anything extra past the first charge. And even with unfortunate events unfolding, they took care of it all without complaint. They never once snapped at me, nor did they try to fight me on the issues. They owned the problems entirely and I'm 100% pleased with the interactions and work. They went above and beyond, and that's what deserves 5 stars. I will continue to use them for any of my plumbing needs, and their interactions made me trust them completely. If you need a good company for plumbing, 1 Tom has you covered. I was very impressed by T'ko's professional attitude, and all the plumbers. I was also very happy with Marco's customer service, he made my wife feel so comfy throughout the hiccups, and that made our communication go so smooth. Give these people your business.

5698 Dannon Way #11, West Jordan, UT 84081, USA
(385) 276-4284Had a great experience with Valley Plumbing. They were easy to get in touch with, showed up when they said they would, and kept me updated the whole time. Communication was solid from start to finish, which I really appreciated. Dusty did the work for me and did an awesome job. He explained everything clearly, made sure I understood what was going on, and didn’t leave any questions unanswered. You can tell he cares about doing the job right. Everything turned out great and I’m really happy with how it all came together. Definitely would use them again and recommend them to anyone needing plumbing work done.
3 months agoMY ONLY REGRET IS THAT I CAN’T LEAVE A 10 STAR REVIEW FOR THESE GUYS! They are nothing short of amazing SUPERSTARS! First of all they were $2,000 less than their competitors. They showed up exactly on time. Their entire crew is clean, friendly and professional. They were done replacing our entire water line in less than four hours. They were super respectful of our home and cleaned up when they were done as nice as I would have done. We were amazed by how well they dealt with our urgent emergency. Our water is no longer leaking and all is well. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE GUYS ❤️❤️❤️
7 months agoDean was honest and respectful. He gave options of what could be done and made sure I was satisfied. He was very friendly, listened, was knowledgeable, and the price was decent. I actually paid more than another quote because of his honesty and quality. Thank you Dean! I have more projects that im sure I'll be having you back again to do.

(801) 477-8471We had an excellent experience working with Josh from Whipple for the installation of a Tesla charger at my boss’s home. From start to finish, he was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly easy to work with. He took the time to explain everything clearly, made sure the installation was done safely and correctly, and paid attention to every detail. The final result was clean, efficient, and exactly what we needed. It’s clear he takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about doing the job right. We wouldn’t hesitate to use him again or recommend him to anyone needing electrical work done (especially for Tesla charger installations)
1 month agoWe just had a new furnace and air conditioning system installed in our house. These guys were absolutely amazing throughout the entire process!! They quickly responded to my request for quote. They immediately had us scheduled for a FREE in-home inspection & quote. (We highly recommend Technician MIKE👍🏼) The financing was a piece of cake!! It was unbelievably fast & easy. (We highly recommend Gage👍🏼) The installation was scheduled within 48 hours of completing the financing. The Installation Techs showed up on-time and fully prepared. They worked hard & fast, and they completed the entire job that day!! (Highly recommend Emerson & Orlando👍🏼) GREAT JOB ALL HOURS PLUMBING! YOU GUYS ROCK!
5 years agoJosh Jones did an outstanding job working on our fuse box and installing a surge protector. He is an experienced electrician with great people skills. He explained what he was going to do before he started the work. He showed us the work afterwards and made sure we didn’t have any questions. He explained the warranty and gave us a copy for our records. I appreciate Tyson for making arrangements for Josh to come do the work.
3 months agoNeerings Plumbing Heating Air & Electric
3495 S 300 W, Salt Lake City, UT 84115, USA
(385) 217-7811Juan and Tony were absolutely by far the best team I have ever had in my home. I am so impressed with the professionalism. They explained everything from beginning to end and made me feel safe again. Very kind and very patient. Much gratitude for the hard work. I would recommend Neering plumbing any day.
3 months agoI had a great experience with the plumber but once I got the quote + quotes from many other plumbers I realized the price gouging going on. They quoted $19K in work for my new home inspection while 2 other companies simply outlined up to $3K - $5K in work needed. Make sure you get comp quotes before you hire these guys.
3 months agoHad a pretty crappy experience With Neerings. Ultimately the tech that came to maintenance My AC told me to buy different filters and gave me the size to buy. So I did and they are not the right size by a good 4 inches and there is no way to return them at this point as they were purchased on Amazon for his suggestion. I talked with someone who basically said I was SOL and that he couldn’t do anything to help me and now I am stuck with $100 worth of filters I cannot use. I will not be a return customer. I would also suggest that your “techs” not give out advice on something they know nothing about. Like furnace filter sizes, who knows what else they don’t know.
1 week agoProfessional Drain Cleaning in Kearns, Utah
Kearns is a unique community with a rich history, from its roots as a WWII airbase to its role in the 2002 Winter Olympics. For modern residents living in the heart of the Salt Lake Valley, maintaining a home means dealing with the specific plumbing challenges that come with our regional climate and older infrastructure. When a sink backs up or a floor drain overflows, you don't have time to call a dozen different companies only to find out they are booked out for a week.
Our service is designed specifically for the busy Kearns homeowner. We proactively manage a network of 15 local plumbers, filtering them by your exact zip code. Most importantly, we do the heavy lifting by calling them to confirm they have an open slot for your drain emergency today. Whether you are near the Utah Olympic Oval or in one of the established neighborhoods near 5400 South, we ensure you get a verified professional without the hassle of a phone tag.
Common Drain Issues in Kearns, Utah
Older Sewer Infrastructure: Many homes in Kearns, particularly the classic ramblers built in the mid-20th century, still utilize original clay or cast iron sewer lines. These pipes are prone to shifting with the Utah soil, leading to bellies and cracks that catch debris and cause frequent backups.
Root Intrusion from Mature Trees: The established landscapes in Kearns feature beautiful, mature trees. Their root systems are incredibly aggressive in their search for water, often infiltrating small cracks in sewer pipes. This results in stubborn clogs that require professional root-cutting equipment rather than a standard hand-snake.
Hard Water Mineral Buildup: Like much of the Salt Lake Valley, Kearns deals with significant hard water. Over years, calcium and magnesium deposits can build up on the interior walls of your pipes, narrowing the passage and making it easier for hair and grease to create a complete blockage.
Main Line Stress During Storms: When heavy snowmelt or spring rains hit the valley, the local drainage systems are put to the test. Older Kearns homes with basement floor drains may experience backups if the main line isn't clear and able to handle the increased volume of water and waste.
Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for Kearns, Utah
Spring Thaw Prep: As the snow melts off the Oquirrh Mountains, check your basement floor drains. Ensure they aren't covered or blocked so they can handle any unexpected groundwater seepage common in the Kearns area.
Summer Grease Awareness: With outdoor grilling season in full swing, remember that Kearns' hot summers won't keep grease liquid in your pipes. Never pour cooking fats down the kitchen sink, as they solidify quickly once they hit the cooler underground lines.
Fall Root Maintenance: Before the ground freezes, consider a preventative hydro-jetting service. Tree roots are most active in their search for moisture during the dry Utah autumn, and clearing them now prevents a frozen sewer disaster in January.
Winter Pipe Care: While drains don't freeze as often as supply lines, a slow-moving drain can trap water that may freeze in sub-zero temperatures. Keep your drains flowing freely to avoid icy blockages during our coldest months.
Average Drain Cleaning Costs in Kearns, Utah
In Kearns, a standard drain snaking for a sink or tub typically costs between $165 and $225. For main sewer line clogs requiring hydro-jetting or advanced root removal, prices generally range from $300 to $425 depending on the accessibility of the cleanout.
