Top Rated Plumbers in Mason, Ohio
Main Drain
2900 Tytus Ave, Middletown, OH 45042, USA
(513) 465-2525We had a major sewer line issue the same weekend we moved into our home and had no idea it was a preexisting problem until everything backed up. đđ The sewer line was completely wrapped in tree roots. They had to cut the roots out and thankfully only had to do a spot repair to get my sewer line back to working properly. Iâm very thankful we found this plumber. Jeremiah responded quickly, got the job done fast, and most importantly did the work correctly the first time. He installed a new sewer line cap since ours was broken; moved the piping to a much more accessible location, which will make future maintenance so much easier. The pricing was very reasonable compared to other quotes we received, and heâs willing to work with us on payments, which helped our family tremendously during a stressful and unexpected situation. He was professional, honest, and explained everything clearly throughout the process. Another thing we really appreciated was how respectful he and his helper were of our property. After all the digging and repair work, they packed everything back down neatly and didnât leave us with a huge mess to clean up afterward. Itâs hard to find someone dependable these days, but this company truly cares about their customers and the quality of their work. I would absolutely recommend Main Drain to anyone needing plumbing or sewer line repairs! He gained another customer for life đ¤đ˝
3 weeks agoI just bought a house and was having the new owner plumbing problems. My main drain was clogged from previous use. Jeremiah answered the call literally right away on a Saturday. He had great phone etiquette patient with my questions. Was an active listener and was even willing to work with my home warranty company. Jeremiah was willing to come out on a weekend to fix my drain even though late in the evening. I scheduled with him on a Monday. He called and fit my plumbing job in earlier than expected and had it cleaned out and ready to go. His assistant Aaron was also very polite and professional. Jeremiah is not like the average company owner. You can tell he takes pride in his work and has that old fashioned kind of work ethic, where the owners truly cares for his customers. I will now on recommend The Main Drain to anyone I know who has plumbing issues. Thanks Jeremiah for a job well done.
1 week agoJeremiah showed up to our house quickly and assessed the issue. He found a clog in our main drain. He got right to work, and explained everything very thoroughly. He was very knowledgeable and kind. He was quick to fix the issue and helped clean up afterwords. I would 1000% reccomend his services to anyone. This was our first big plumbing experience since we bought our house and itâs safe to say, he earned a customer for life. Thank you!
4 months agoThe Drain Smith
2861 Sidney Ave Ste #102, Cincinnati, OH 45225, USA
(513) 402-0242The Drain Smith crew lined our sewer line from the house to the street and did some other work. Our 110 year old house had tree roots growing through the pipe joints which periodically caused some nasty backups. Their process avoids the messy trenching in the yard and is a permanent fix. The crew really knew what they were doing and did an excellent job. They were able to work around some obstructions in the basement without damage. They were also so polite and courteous. I am completely satisfied with their work! I highly recommend them!
1 month agoThe Drain Smith was a referral from a home inspector for our sewer drain to be jetted of tree roots. The line was not backing up although had lots of roots. A street clean out was installed in 2015. The men that came started there but felt they would have a better chance at clearing the roots from inside the house. They worked for sometime and then disappeared. When I followed up with Ruth (front office) the next day and she indicated they wouldn't have left if not clear. A few days later another home inspector scoped the line and found it wasn't clear of roots and did have an area of clogging. I reached out to Ruth late Friday, explained the situation and she had guys out Monday AM to re-jet the line. Again, they worked and magically disappeared when finished, never saying anything to me. Ruth sent a video showing some leftover roots but a clear flowing line. The guys did leave greasy spots on my basement floor (unfinished side thankfully). Through this process Ruth was amazing to work with on this and made the experience much better.
1 month agoBob from The Drain Smith did a great job clearing out our sewer line at my house . He accessed the clean out , found some root intrusion and offsets in the clay hubs, and took care of everything with a hydro jet. He also added Root X to handle any remaining roots. Sent over a video after the work was done so we could see for ourselves that the sewer was clear all the way to the main. Professional, communicative, and thorough. Would recommend!

4 months agoMatthew Pieper was my dude! I had a toilet issue where it was sitting two shims high and rocking back and forth. We even had a flood on Easter, so I had a pretty good idea something wasnât right. After doing some âYouTube University,â I figured the flange was too high and the wax seal was probably shotâespecially since the house is from the 60s. Matthew came out, listened to everything I explained, and didnât brush it off. He said, âLetâs pull the toilet and see what weâre working with,â which I really respected. Sure enough, once he pulled it, it was exactly what I thoughtâa bad flange, bad wax seal, and the flange sitting way too high. From there, he got to work. He removed/repaired the flange, ground down the cast iron pipe so everything sat level with the floor, installed a new flange properly, and reset the toilet. Now the toilet sits solid and levelâno rocking, no issues. And just like YouTube University, he knocked it out professionally. These guys arenât corner cutters. I had a whole week of studying this stuffâhours every dayâso I knew what needed to be done. Watching him work, he did it exactly how it should be done, step by step, with real professionalism. What stood out to me was that he actually listened, confirmed the problem, and then fixed it the right way instead of cutting corners. Super professional, knew his stuff, and made the whole process smooth. On top of that, they even sent a quality check guy right behind him to inspect the work. He showed up about 15 minutes after Matt left, which honestly impressed me even more. That level of follow-up says a lot about the company. If you get Matthew, youâre in good hands. Highly recommend 1-Tom-Plumber.
2 months agoTotally professional quality work and done when stated for a reasonable price. New water heater and water treatment system installed today and totally satisfied. Brad the plumber gave us an estimate and he came back and installed the job which was great to have the same guy both bid and do the work. I have had One Tom plumbing do all my work over the past 2 years and they are fantastic.

4 months agoSchlueter Plumbing - The No Nonsense Plumber
11645 Lebanon Rd, Sharonville, OH 45241, USA
(513) 970-6874âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸ Schlueter Plumbing delivered exceptional service from start to finish. Their team was prompt, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. They diagnosed the issue quickly, explained everything in a way that was easy to understand, and offered clear, fair pricing with no surprises. They even found the most cost-effective way to solve the issues long term. What really stood out was their attention to detail and respect for my home. The technician worked efficiently, kept the area clean, and made sure everything was functioning perfectly before leaving. Itâs rare to find a company that combines skill, honesty, and genuine customer care, but Schlueter Plumbing does exactly that. Highly recommended for anyone looking for reliable, highâquality plumbing work. Theyâve definitely earned my trust for future projects.
5 months agoThey did show up. The simple problem was fixed. However I was charged excessively for the job. They saw a huge house & tried to take advantage of me. My father was a master contractor. He could have fixed this in less than an hour. I was charged $538. Because I have roommates I felt forced to pay this amount. But I do know I was overcharged. I was told by the plumber it was a flat rate. When I called the company, they said the charge was based on the hours needed, supplies etc. So they gave me two different reasons. Very frustrating. My father would have never treated anyone like this. The water was seen in the basement. The leak was from above the room. It was simple to find. Simple to fix. And because this is an actual plumbing company, they should keep basic supplies on them. Not need to go get them. This was an hour job. By a younger licensed plumber. There is no way possible I should have been charged this amount. I work with contractors on a regular basis. Not to mention I grew up with a contractor father. At most this would be $150 job including supplies. I asked other plumbers & each said I was very much overcharged. Was the pipe made of gold & diamonds? No a regular copper pipe.
4 months agoScott and his assistant were very professional and thorough. The whole process was handled very well. All is working as expected. I called at 8 am and they had the issue resolved the same day. Communication with the office staff was done very well. It was nice to work with a company that knows how to interact with a customer through out the entire process.
2 months agoHELP Plumbing, Heating, Cooling and Drains
6 N Commerce Park Dr, Cincinnati, OH 45215, USA
(513) 973-4124JJ was my advanced field tech who chauffeured me around on a ride-a-long. We went to this customers home to diag a condensers unit that was frozen over in frigid, icey conditions and although we encountered some complications like a language barrier and more we we able to defrost her system. Test her return lines and ensure her unit was safely and properly operational before we departed. Upon the departure, we notified the customer the best we could ( due to language barriers) about our visit. We packed, up cleaned up, double check and left without a trace. Thank you HELP and JJ.
3 months agoAndrew did a great job in selling us our new AC unit, furnace and insulation package. He was very courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. (513) 916-0123After a family member recommended Pembroke Plumbing, I scheduled them for a washer box replacement. Shareef did excellent work including updating the pipes leading to the box and when it was time to replace the water supply valves in our bathrooms, he did a great job with those too. Highly recommended by our family.

Common Drain Issues in Mason, Ohio
Hard Water Buildup: Like much of Southwest Ohio, Mason residents often deal with high mineral content in their water. Over time, calcium and magnesium deposits can narrow the diameter of your pipes, leading to frequent slow drains and recurring clogs that DIY solutions simply cannot fix.
Tree Root Intrusion: Many of Mason's beautiful, established neighborhoods feature mature trees with expansive root systems. These roots are naturally drawn to the moisture in your sewer line, often breaking through older pipes and causing massive backups that require professional hydro-jetting to clear.
Basement Floor Drain Backups: With Masonâs seasonal heavy rains, basement floor drains are a common failure point. If your sump pump or floor drain isn't clear, a single storm can lead to unwanted water in your lower level, requiring immediate professional intervention to prevent water damage.
Kitchen Grease & Disposal Issues: With a high concentration of families in the Mason City School District area, kitchen drains take a beating. Grease buildup and improper use of garbage disposals are the leading causes of kitchen clogs that require professional snaking to clear effectively and safely.
Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for Mason, Ohio
Spring: After the ground thaws and heavy spring rains arrive in Warren County, check your outdoor drains and gutters. Ensure that rainfall isn't pushing debris into your basement floor drains or window wells.
Summer: With kids home from school and more activity in the house, keep a close eye on what goes down the garbage disposal during summer cookouts. Avoid fibrous vegetables and grease to prevent mid-summer clogs.
Fall: Before the first frost, clear away fallen leaves near external drainage points. Mason's heavy foliage can quickly block outdoor drains, leading to pooling water near your foundation as winter approaches.
Winter: Freezing temperatures in Ohio can cause pipes to contract. Ensure your home is properly heated, and if you have a slow drain, fix it before the deep freezeâice can turn a minor clog into a major pipe burst.
Average Drain Cleaning Costs in Mason, Ohio
Prices in Mason typically depend on the severity of the blockage and the equipment required. A standard sink snaking is on the lower end, while main sewer line clearing or hydro-jetting typically costs more due to the specialized machinery needed.
Frequently Asked Questions about Drain Cleaning in Mason, Ohio
How quickly can a plumber reach my home in Mason?
Because we filter by your specific zip code and verify availability before you call, most Mason residents can have a plumber on-site within 2 to 4 hours of their request, even during peak times.
Are the plumbers in your network familiar with Warren County building codes?
Yes, we only work with certified professionals who are licensed to operate in Mason and Warren County, ensuring all drain work meets local safety and health regulations.
What is the most common cause of clogged drains in Mason?
In the Mason area, we see a lot of hard water scale and tree root intrusions. The mineral-heavy water in Southwest Ohio tends to create 'scale' inside pipes that traps hair and soap scum more easily than in other regions.
Do you offer emergency drain cleaning on weekends near Kings Island?
Absolutely. Our verification service operates 24/7. We specifically call plumbers to find who is on-call for emergencies in the Mason area so you don't have to wait until Monday morning for help.
Can I get a price estimate over the phone for a Mason home?
While we provide general pricing for the Mason area, the technician will provide an exact quote once they arrive. Factors like the length of the pipe and the need for camera inspection will determine the final cost.
