Drain Tech
2504 Stanley Ave, Dayton, OH 45404, USA
(937) 222-8888We had Dylan and his team out today to put in a sewer drain liner, i.e. trenchless sewer drain repair. He and his team were prompt, polite, efficient and thorough in explaining to us what they were doing and completing the job. They arranged to have the city clean their section of the sewer line that was obstructed by roots. Drain Tech removed the roots from our 95 year old, 4 inch clay sewer drain connecting to the city line then installed a Hammerhead liner and cured it. They finished ahead of the time they had told us it could possibly take. We were able to use the line as soon as they completed the job. Drain Tech saved us thousands of dollars compared to quotes we had from other companies for liners or trenches. So glad we qualified for a liner as our sidewalk, shrubs and yard did not have to be torn up. Cindy was great to work with setting up the appointments to scope the line and have this crew come out to do the work. We highly recommend this company.
5 months agoDrain Tech is the BEST. I've used their service on several occassions and have been very pleased with the results, professionalism and the cost. I had an emergency sewer line back-up and they (Cindy) had a tech out and finished the job in less then two hours after my initial call. I can't post this without stating how pleasent it was talking with Cindy over the phone. Awesome Lady! Thanks Drain Tech
2 months agoI have been using Drain Tech for years. The last thirty days, I have had to request several service calls to rentals (at least four). I always get same day service, great pricing, fast communication, fair pricing, detailed camera/video footage and necessary communication. The experienced techs never discuss anything with my tenants. The owner goes over and beyond to make me feel as I am her only customer. It is so hard to find good contractors and Drain Tech doesn’t disappoint. I appreciate Cindy and her team.

1250 W Dorothy Ln Unit 204, Dayton, OH 45409, USA
(937) 956-0504If I could put zero stars I would. . . I thought only roto rooter would have tried to pull what these guys did. . . A main clean out is about a hundred to 130 for almost every place you call. . . Not these folks. . . I dug a path for the machine due to the snow. . . Dug up the clean out. . . Set everything up in advance to make their job super easy. . . The guy gets here and informs me a drain snake is 550 bucks. . . THATS INSANE. . . . Then they demanded 100 bucks for a trip charge. . . Which I get totally . . . They probably get told no alot given they are 500% higher than the average plumber. . . Then they proceed to take the hundred bucks and drive off with no reciept and no invoice. . . . I've been a contractor for 30yrs and aside from roto rooter I've never encountered such a horrible predatory ordeal. . . I would not recommend these folks for services due to the insanely high prices they charge for menial tasks . . .
1 month agoVictoria in the office was very accommodating and polite. And Mr. Rubke- well first of all the man put on booties!! Already scores points. Then he carefully addressed all our concerns and fixed our clog. I would 1000% recommend this company again!!
9 months agoWould not give me an estimate over the phone to have my kitchen sink drain snaked/cleared after I explained exactly what was going on (not the first time it has happened). Folks were kind and courteous after a notification that the tech was 'on the way' to my house; so I left work to go meet him. Then I got a notification that the tech was leaving his previous job 20 minutes later to drive 30 min to my house. Two hours off of work. Called a competitive company and got quote over the phone for $200 less than this firm. Would love a credit.
1 year agoEvergreen Plumbing & Drains
991 Senate Dr, Dayton, OH 45459, USA
(937) 396-5194I have had a horrible experience with a reputable plumbing company. They were suppose to come to my house yesterday between 8-10 am. Something told me to call them at 9 this morning . The rep who answered the phone was the same person who made my appointment this past Friday. He pretended to act like he did not know who I was and that I did not have an appointment. He said he was going to call the techs and then call me back. Needless to say, I am still waiting for the phone call. I researched Evergreen. Adam even came out to my house the end of April to give me a quote. One of the reasons I did not use him was because I had a membership with the other company. Well, I called Evergreen yesterday morning crying about what had happened and if they could kindly help me. Hailey the receptionist/secretary was WONDERFUL and very helpful. She got me an appointment first thing this morning. I received text messages and emails… excellent job communicating and assuring I had an actual upcoming appointment! Evan came to the house within the first hour of my blocked time. I received a phone call, text messages and emails introducing himself so I knew who he was upon arrival. He listened to me. He surveyed the circumstances thoroughly and gave me options. He spent almost 2 hours at my house for a job that could have easily taken him an hour. He chose to talk with me and build a repoire with me! I am forever grateful! He did a beautiful job installing a new shower head and turn on/off lever. He had me look at it and see if I liked it. I loved it!! Beautiful work! I did NOT hesitate to become a yearly member of Evergreen Plumbing! I called the business when Evan left to tell them how much I appreciated Evan and Hailey! They made me beyond happy and satisfied! I highly recommend Evergreen to anyone who needs a plumber. They are very knowledgeable and do very nice work at a reasonable fee. I am beyond happy with this company! (Thank you, God for directing me to them!)
4 months agoWe had an excellent experience from start to finish. They unclogged our bathroom sink, cleaned out our main pipe, and completed a full flush on our water heater—all done efficiently and professionally. Noah and Sean were great! Everything was explained clearly, and the work was done right the first time. I also have to mention their CSR, Hailey who was absolutely amazing—prompt, friendly, and great at communicating every step of the way. It’s rare to find a company with both top-notch technicians and outstanding customer service. Highly recommend!
1 month agoOk, I know it sounds weird to think of a plumbing company as awesome, but Evergreen Plumbing is AWESOME. They are a small company that CARES about their customers. The owners are actual plumbers themselves, as opposed to a sales person just trying to maximize profits. To say they are knowledgeable and passionate about their trade is a humongous understatement. They are , like, water quality obsessed. And that is precisely who you want working on your plumbing! They didn’t just give me an estimate, they educated me on the differences between products and why they use the products they do. They replaced my water heater, installed a new water softener (with a carbon filter- it makes a big difference, look it up!), replaced faucets in the master bathroom, replaced an outside spigot, and installed a new main water shutoff valve. Yes, I got a lot done, but the price was very reasonable. They were not the cheapest quote I got, but once I did the research on the quality and warranties of Evergreen’s products verses what the other companies were going to install, it was a no brainer. When Noah was done installing my new water softener, the water was so silky smooth I did a happy dance. From now on I will only trust Evergreen with my home’s plumbing. Give them your business. You’ll be glad you did! Oh, and ask for Noah (journeyman level) or Evan (master level).
4 months agoIntegrity Plumbing and Drain Service
4050 Benfield Dr Suite 1E, Kettering, OH 45429, USA
(937) 901-6186This company truly lives up to its name! This is our second time using Integrity Plumbing, and once again, they exceeded our expectations. The first time, our bathtub kept backing up despite multiple failed attempts from other companies. Integrity came out, got it unclogged, and we haven’t had a problem since! This time, Devin from Integrity showed up and did an excellent job fixing our leaky garbage disposal and the pipes under the kitchen sink. He clearly knew what he was doing and worked efficiently. On top of that, he gave us a fair and affordable price! No other company compares to Integrity Plumbing. Thank you for your outstanding service—you’ve earned a lifelong customer! 😁 **** Once again I want to thank Devin and Jaden on snaking my drain once again and finding a toy plastic car in the drain. Also for installing the new faucet and trap with ventilation under my bathroom sink. Thank you Integrity!
4 months agoI had an emergency plumbing concern that occurred later in the evening and Integrity Plumbing and Drain was able to come out the same night to diagnose and resolve the issue. They did great work, were reasonably priced, and explained what was needed. Several other local companies were booked until at least later the next day. I highly recommend their service and will use them again for any future concerns.
2 months agoA Saturday morning phone call to Integrity was answered by William who indicated that he would be able to have someone visit my home within 2 hours. Plumber Jaden was assigned and kept me informed of his arrival by text and email. He actually arrived a little early. He assessed my drains, quoted me a price and got to work. He completed opening my drains in an efficient and timely manner. I was impressed with his expertise. I can understand why Integrity Plumbing has an A+ rating with the BBB.
2 months agoOhio Best Plumbing
6855 N Dixie Dr #1830, Dayton, OH 45414, USA
(937) 488-4622It’s tough to find a trustworthy plumber these days, so I was a bit unsure at first when I saw all the glowing reviews. But after working with this plumbing team several times, I totally get the hype. Every experience has been smooth and professional. Brian handled all my calls and scheduling—super responsive and friendly, which is a big change from other companies I’ve dealt with. Melvin came out to give us quotes, answered every question patiently, and made sure we understood all our options. We had our water main replaced, and the work was top-notch. Even the inspector mentioned how great the job looked. After the replacement, some old buildup in our galvanized pipes loosened up and clogged a few fixtures, causing slow water flow in the toilet and sink. Not knowing much about plumbing, I called for help, and Melvin quickly came by to replace our toilet fill valve and clean the faucet screens. We also reached out later with some random plumbing questions, and Brian was happy to give us helpful advice at no extra charge. I’ve never felt so comfortable and confident working with a contractor. They’re honest, charge fair prices, and always deliver quality work. I’ll definitely call them for any plumbing needs in the future.
2 months agoI’m surprised to see any negative reviews because my experience with Ohio Best Plumbing has been fantastic. I called them out to Dayton to check my septic system before buying a home, and Brian handled the job. He was very polite, knew exactly what he was doing, and explained everything clearly. I really appreciated how honest and transparent the whole process was, which gave me confidence to move forward with the purchase. Communication was always prompt and clear, which made everything easier. Overall, I’m very thankful for the service and excited about my new home.
1 month agoI highly recommend Ohio Best Plumbing. Their service was fantastic from start to finish. This was our first time calling them, and we had a problem with our toilets backing up into the showers and tub—definitely not something you want to deal with. We called late on a Saturday afternoon, and they were able to send Brian out first thing Sunday morning. Brian did a great job explaining each step of the process and even showed us images from the camera he used to look inside our pipes. He was friendly, professional, and made sure we understood everything. He gave us helpful advice, like switching to a 2-ply toilet paper that dissolves better to avoid future clogs. I could actually see on the camera how much toilet paper was blocking up the pipes. Paying was easy—just a tap of my card, and I got my receipt by email. I was told to expect a follow-up email with a summary and more tips. From the first phone call to the final payment, the whole experience was smooth and stress-free. We’re really grateful for the excellent plumbing service here in Dayton!
1 month agoThe Right Brothers Plumbing & Drains
155 Haas Dr, Englewood, OH 45322, USA
(937) 872-3648My kitchen sink had been clogged. Calling this company was the best decision I made! They were quick and caring! A man named Dalton came out and was nothing but respectful and polite and got the job done. He walked me through what he was doing the whole time. I loved my experience and would definitely recommend this company for anyone.
2 weeks agoWe had a drain issue on a Saturday and water was coming in the house. Thank goodness Right Brithers has a live person answer their phone. She was very understanding and scheduled a call right away. Then Daulton called to get a better understanding of the issue and to let us know when he would arrive. Once he got here he was very knowledgeable and professional and got to work on the problem. Once the issue was resolved he gave a detailed explanation as to what he found and said there would be a follow-up on Monday. Right Brothers are very up front and clear about their pricing. I would highly recommend Right Brothers Plumbing & Drains.
1 month agoCalled for a quote on a tankless hot water heater and Nate came out the same day. He was professional, thorough, and walked us through every detail of the job. The quote we received was literally thousands less, I’m talking over $1,500 less, than what other companies offered for the exact same unit plus install. We scheduled immediately, and they were out the very next morning. Nate was unfortunately out sick, but Corey and Brandon showed up right on time and didn’t miss a beat. Just like Nate, they were professional, efficient, and had everything installed and running within a few hours. Outstanding service from start to finish. Highly recommend this company!
2 weeks agoMammoth Plumbing
451 Congress Park Dr, Dayton, OH 45459, USA
(937) 815-2006This was our first experience with Mammoth Plumbing. Taylor and Matthew initially came out as a second opinion for basement drain backup issue. They gave a good explanation of the problem and did an excellent job making the appropriate repairs at a more reasonable price than the initial estimate Colin joined them with the repairs and they did a great job and cleaned up well after they were done. Matt, the owner, was very easy to communicate with and did a great job of returning calls when there were questions. We would definitely recommend Mammoth plumbing for any plumbing needs.
1 month agoThe team at Mammoth Plumbing was exceptional! They got our for our quote quickly. Every step of the way was very professional and even the owner reached out to make sure my husband and I understood the whole process. We had a main line backup. We needed 64 feet of clay pipe lined. This was a HUGE job! We had other quotes but we ended up going with Mammoth because their owner was so wonderful. This was already a very stressful event and the team at Mammoth Plumbing made it seem manageable. To top it off they sent us cookies as a thank you! I highly recommend!
1 month agoWe had a water line break between the street and our home. Mammoth Plumbing took care of all needed calls to make sure all other lines/cables were flagged. Once on-site, they worked quickly and efficiently to get a new line installed. The workers were knowledgeable and efficient. The clean up of the yard after was also appreciated. I would 100% recommend you "Trust the Tusk" with Mammoth 🦣 Plumbing.
1 month agoHuber Heights Plumbing & Drain
7920 Chambersburg Rd Suite A30, Dayton, OH 45424, USA
(937) 912-1974While the gentleman that came to the house was very polite and the issue was competently resolved, when my wife set up the appointment she was misled into believing the cost would be 99$ to snake the drain. Upon arrival, we were told it would be 330$ (he did end up giving me 50$ off). I have had the drains snaked in this house before, and it has never cost more than 100$. Once I heard the price, I wanted to call a different company, but then I was on the hook for the 99$ privilege of having the gentleman tell me what I already knew...the line needed snaked. Lesson learned. Go elsewhere. Eco plumbing runs circles around these folks.
3 months agoI called Huber Heights Plumbing, 5 Star Home Services for a second opinion after an unpleasant encounter with another company. Amy that I spoke with first was so kind and assured me she would have someone come that night. Chris Sanchez was visibly concerned with the mess the other company had left. He assured me they could help me. Dustin Schmidt and James Ashley were heaven sent. Bless them. They worked so incredibly hard while assuring me things would be all right. It was very obvious that they genuinely wanted to help. The issue was completely resolved without tearing out my driveway or digging up my yard. It was done at a fraction of the cost the other company had quoted me. I am so deeply grateful for your professionalism, kindness and skill. God sends his angels when they are needed. Your company is the only one I will use and the only one I will recommend. Thank you
4 months agoVery Professional, friendly, and timely. Explained everything and our dogs loved him. He kept us in the loop and worry free. Would want him for all future repairs!
2 months agoAtherton Plumbing - Dayton Drain Cleaning
705 Albany St, Dayton, OH 45417, USA
(937) 709-3605The technician (Jason Maxwell) was professional and friendly. He explained everything well, took care of the issue, and provided additional advice for taking care of our water heater and for potential recurrent issues. The communication over text from the company was also very helpful. I appreciated the short description and photo of the technician so we had some information about him before he arrived. Overall, very pleased with the services. Price was reasonable for the services provided, similar to other plumbing services in the area.
3 weeks agoSunday morning text from our tenants that shower, sink and toilet were backing up. Called Atherton, they explained the emergency pricing, tech called me 5 minutes later and asked some questions and walked me through the process and pricing. 5 minutes later i had a text with a picture of my technician, Nick, and that he was on his way. 30 minutes later i met himat the property, everything fixed in less than an hour, keeping me in the loop at every step. He did a great job of fixing the issue and cleaning up after himself. I love Atherton for their responsiveness and quality of work.
2 weeks agoHad to have a toilet replaced. Excellent and quick service- they were at my house in a few hours to provide a detailed estimate, and the next day to install. Did not try to push me into a getting a new toilet. Instead, they walked me through and provided a bid for my 3 options so I could make an informed decision. High quality materials (I did a comparison of product at big box stores) were used. Would definitely recommend to friends and neighbors. Macen and Dillion were great!
1 month agoAll Drains Drain Cleaning and Plumbing Repair

(513) 422-1893Doug is so nice and friendly! He has been to my house several times for service repairs. He is the best! Informs me of everything he needs to do. He has to be your #1 serviceman. I highly recommend All Drains!
1 month agoExcellent, professional and friendly service. Luke made time in his schedule to provide service when we had an emergency. He diagnosed the issue, made the necessary repairs and even identified an additional issue that he was able to repair during the service call. Would highly recommend All Drains.
4 months agoLuke was very personable! The work was quoted and completed same day. He advised me that the big cast iron pipe through the wall will need to be replaced at some time so to budget for it since I just needed a reasonable "fix" today.
4 weeks agoProfessional Drain Cleaning in Dayton
From the historic streets of the Oregon District to the growing suburbs of the Miami Valley, Dayton homeowners deserve plumbing services as reliable as the city’s industrial roots. Our specialized service eliminates the guesswork and frustration of finding a plumber who is actually available when you need them. Instead of you spending hours making calls, we take the lead. We scan our extensive network of certified Dayton plumbers and filter them specifically by your local zip code. Most importantly, we call them directly to confirm they have a technician ready to solve your drain issue today. Whether you are near the University of Dayton or up toward Vandalia, we ensure you don't waste time on companies that are already booked solid.
Common Drain Issues in Dayton
Tree Root Intrusion: In established Dayton neighborhoods like Oakwood and Five Points, mature silver maples and oaks often seek out moisture in aging sewer lines. These roots can penetrate small cracks, leading to massive blockages that require professional equipment to clear.
Mineral Scaling from Hard Water: The Miami Valley is known for its hard water sourced from the Great Miami Buried Valley Aquifer. Over time, calcium and magnesium deposits can narrow your pipes, creating a rough surface that catches hair and soap scum, leading to frequent clogs.
Historic Pipe Corrosion: Many homes in Dayton's historic districts feature original clay or cast-iron pipes. These materials are prone to internal rusting or shifting soil, which creates 'bellies' in the line where debris collects and causes persistent drainage issues.
Heavy Kitchen Grease: With Dayton’s family-centric culture, kitchen drains often work overtime. Ohio’s cold winter temperatures can cause grease to solidify even faster inside your pipes, creating stubborn 'fatbergs' that DIY liquid cleaners simply cannot dissolve.
Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for Dayton
Spring: As Dayton experiences heavy spring rains, ensure your basement floor drains are clear to prevent backup from the rising water table and local storm runoff.
Summer: During the backyard BBQ season, avoid putting fibrous husks from Ohio sweet corn or potato peels down the garbage disposal, as these are leading causes of summer clogs.
Fall: Before the first freeze hits Montgomery County, clear leaves away from any outdoor area drains to prevent them from washing into your plumbing system and causing a blockage.
Winter: Ensure your indoor drains are flowing well before the deep freeze. When Dayton temperatures drop, a slow drain is much more likely to freeze completely, leading to burst pipes and water damage.
Average Drain Cleaning Costs in Dayton
Standard drain cleaning in Dayton varies based on the location of the clog and the equipment needed. Simple sink snaking is typically on the lower end, while main sewer line clearing or hydro-jetting falls on the higher end.
Frequently Asked Questions about Drain Cleaning in Dayton
How quickly can I get a drain cleaned in Dayton?
By using our verification service, we often find Dayton plumbers who can arrive within hours. We call the plumbers in your specific zip code first to confirm they have an immediate opening before we connect you.
Does the hard water in the Miami Valley affect my drains?
Yes, Dayton's water is high in mineral content. These minerals build up inside your pipes over time, narrowing the passage and making it easier for clogs to form. Periodic professional cleaning is recommended to remove this scale.
Do you service Dayton suburbs like Kettering and Beavercreek?
Absolutely. Our network covers the entire Dayton metro area. We use your specific zip code to find the closest available plumber to your home or business, whether you are in Riverside, Trotwood, or Centerville.
Why do my drains smell like the Great Miami River after a storm?
Heavy rains in Dayton can put pressure on the sewer system. If your P-traps are dry or if there is a blockage in your vent stack, sewer gases can back up into your home. A professional can help identify if a cleaning or a repair is needed.
Are your Dayton plumbers available for emergency 24/7 service?
Yes, we prioritize finding 24-hour available technicians. We specifically filter for plumbers who offer emergency services and call them to verify they are currently on-call before sending them your way.
