Extremely satisfied. We experienced a clog in the main drain to our septic system on a Saturday morning. Technician (Jesse) arrived within 45 minutes of our call and was able to quickly resolve our issue within half an hour. Price was reasonable for the service provided. Extremely satisfied called at 7:30pm with a blockage in the main sewer line. THE woman that answered was very polite and got us scheduled for the next morning. The service call was only 85 dollars vs 125. Lauren was very knowledgeable and professional had the line cleared and working in 15 minutes. While in the basement he seen another leak and fixed at no extra cost will definitely use again for any other plumbing issues.

Had a serious back up and they showed up same day. It was the end of the day, snowing and they could have easily made me wait until next day. But they didn’t. Jesse showed up and put solid work in trying to fix the blockage. His persistence paid off finally. We are so appreciative of his effort. He was very courteous and knowledgeable. Drain and main’s magnet is staying on the fridge!

Phil P came to my home during the worst snowstorm (so far) this year. He showed up promptly and was very professional, courteous and friendly. I was surprised at how quickly the repair was completed. I highly recommend Phil at Superior Drain for any emergency sewage backup and would definitely use the emergency service again if needed. I will be passing along his name and number to all friends and family members, should they ever need this type of emergency service.

Unfortunately we needed a plumber for backed up drains. Fortunately we were referred to Frank at Superior Drains who did a fantastic job and fixed us right up in no time. Upstairs tub leak showing up on downstairs ceiling the wed before Easter- surprise! Called Roto Drains because my detached garage drain was backing up with water and reached out for a service. Spoke with the office and inquired what a it would cost to snake the drain. Office informed me that it would be $125 but if I waited until the next day it would be $85. I agreed for the next day and was told between 10-12pm. Next day comes and the time window passes without any word or update from Roto Drains. I reached out again to the office to see if there was any issues or delays and they informed me that they’ll check and get right back to me. I never received a return phone call but the service tech did eventually show up at 4:15. I explained to the tech my situation and he agreed with my assumption that the garage drain just needed to be snaked. He then asked if I was told any pricing and I said that I was told $85 to snake. He disagreed and said that the $85 was only for him to show up and would be another $425 to snake. I was shocked with the new price and annoyed with the situation. Service tech informed me that this miscommunication is common from their office and he dropped to price to $375. All in the tech took 30 mins to clear the drain and I ended up with a $500.25 bill. On a side note during the entire process I believed I spoke with Roto Drain but when I received my invoice it was from Central Plumbing and Drains INC. The phone number and email listed was completed different and I’m not sure how or why this situation occurred. In the end the drain was cleared but I was left feeling like the situation was a “Bait-and-switch” Update: Feb 3rd, 2025 Reached out to Steve at Roto Drain in Herkimer, NY who appears to be the owner of the business. I wanted to get a better understanding or get clarification on why this situation occurred that left me with a $500 bill when I originally was informed that it would be $89. During our conversation he was extremely confrontational towards me on my recent Google review of Roto Drain and told me that he reviewed the previously recorded phone conversation and insured me that I misunderstood that the cost of $89 was for the “service call” and not for the drain snake that I specifically requested the cost for. I informed Steve that if that was indeed the case then to please email me that recorded conversation for my review and I’d be gladly to take down the Google review. Steve agreed to send me the email and we ended our call. A week passes and I never did receive the email from Steve so I reached back out to follow up. When I called Roto Drain I spoke with the receptionist and requested to speak with Steve in regards to our previous conversation. She notified Steve that I was on the phone for him but he informed her that he was busy and to notify me that he would call me back later that day. Unfortunately I never did receive any return calls from Steve or anyone else at Roto Drain. In my last attempt to resolve the issue with Roto Drain I was able to get ahold of Steve but during this conversation he was even more confrontational than from before. He informed me that he will no longer be sending me the email of my original conversation with Roto Drain but instead will provide it to his attorney as evidence. Steve begins yelling towards me and says that deals with situations like this all the time and has no problem taking me to court over harassment and sharing my personal experiences with Roto Drain. I told Steve to do what he needed to do and ended the call. I’ve never delt with a company so willing NOT to clarify a situation but to dodge conversations and would rather threaten with litigation. I have revised my original 2 star Google review down to a 1 star because of Roto Drains unprofessional practices and will continue to share my horrible experiences with others.

Thank you Roto drains. I’ve experienced great on-time service. The plumbers were very knowledgeable, figured out exactly what the problem is, what caused it , and took care of it. Explaining to me why it happened and exactly what’s going on every step of the way . They work very efficiently and clean. I appreciate the reasonable pricing ! These guys are the best! Super courteous and professional. My issue was a clogged drain and I called them at 8:30 am. My drain was clear and draining perfectly within 2.5 hours! Their quick service was a lifesaver! I would recommend them to others and will use them again.

After a kitchen water pipe break in my basement, I had standing water due to a backed up floor drain, Scharf Plumbing came out and cleared the drain in no time! While they were here, they Pointed out an issue with my washing machine drain that could have caused an issue and corrected that as well! They were professional, fast, and knowledgeable, I highly recommend them.

BMR helped guide me through a frozen pipe issue and gave me recommendations for the best path in regard to repairing/replacing my washing machine. I spoke with Zach, Roger and Patrick. I am very satisfied with BMR contracting for fixing my well pump and restoring my water to my home. I called on Saturday afternoon and they were going to come that evening but I opted for them to come in the morning on Sunday. Roger contacted me in the morning a technician was there shortly after and my Water was restored. The technician was polite, knowledgeable, and explained what the problem was. I can't thank BMR Contracting enough they are amazing. My pipes froze and I called a few people abd nobody would help me then I called BMR Contracting. They were great they came out very quick and took care of the problem and were so nice and efficient. It was great service and I would definitely recommend them they did a great job.

I don't live in Utica anymore but was visiting our vacant family home there for a few days when I noticed that our water main shut off valve was leaking. Robert (owner) accommodated my schedule and had a plumber cut out the old one and replaced it on the second to last day of my visit, sparing me the big headache of trying to oversee this repair from across the country. This was especially impressive because he had to coordinate with the city water board to dig out and shut off the main outside, which was under a foot of snow. I assume this step would have taken weeks for a less experienced and well-connected plumber.

I had a water heater go on me. I have a baby on the way and didn't have time to mess around with our homes water. I called RFC and within minutes had a plan in place to get things fixed. By the next morning I had RFC replacing my tank and the job completed in a couple hours. Very nice team of guys that came to do the service, they answered all my questions, and walked me through what to expect after they leave. The owner was great to work with and very fair with his pricing. I would highly recommend their services and would use them in the future.

Last night I came home to a partially flooded basement from a bad leak in my hot water tank. Called RFC and Robert said he could have someone down to replace it first thing this morning. The guys just left, they were super clean, quick and professional. The whole experience was pleasant for such an unpleasant situation. They came for what was an emergency call for us with a frozen pipe . They showed up in the time frame they said & checked everything out throughly. He explained everything to my husband & made sure we had both contacts in case of emergency. Was so honest & knowledgeable . It’s not fun when you need an emergency plumber but this is the company I trust .

What a great team, came in and had to drill under the road to hook up to town water, what a fantastic job they did. Then they hooked up to our residence, this all done in less than 2 days, professional, job knowledge A+, very reasonable price. 100% unreliable, just awful customer service, and would highly suggest you avoid contacting or working with this company. I think they spent more money on the ridiculous background while you are on hold than they did on actually training and hiring quality employees. Avoid this company. At least 6 times told someone would contact me with updates, with zero follow up. At least 3 times told a technician would be here to provide repair service with three no-shows and no contact. I gave them the benefit of the doubt for a week+ of me asking them for help and updates and scheduled service with same complete lack of services or visits or follow up. And their staff has no competence in actually keeping track of status or the details of all of my contact / communications with them. I could go on.

Ray at Ralph’s plumbing has been very helpful since moving to the Rome area. He is courteous, respectful, and down to earth. A great plumber who will make time for you even if his schedule is busy. We have used him on three separate occasions; a remodel, a leak, and a clog (all unrelated).

I was referred to Ray By a friend, I called Several times and left messages took about six weeks to reach Ray. He said he would stop by in 1week to look at the job I had with my sink after I describe the job. He never called me back or came over.

I’ve been using Ralph’s plumbing since 2018 in my home and rental properties. The number one thing to mention is the cleanliness of his finished work. It shows the skill and craftsmanship that’s missing in a lot of jobs today. The second is in communications, I know when he’s coming and when the job is done. Not being on site you have to trust when they say the job is complete. I would fully recommend using his services.
