The freezing weather caused a huge 100 year old cast iron drain line pipe in my basement to crack a few days before my scheduled surgery. An emergency late evening call to Mr Rooter was answered quickly an the had a workman there early the next morning to evaluate the situation. The pipe has now been replaced by experienced, professional, and highly qualified staff. I thought the excavation outside would destroy my driveway. It didnt. HUGE THANKS to Mr. Rooter and all involved for getting the job done!!! Make Mr. Rooter the ONLY place you call for all your plumbing needs! A complete rip off. I had a technician come to my house to help with what I believed was a significant clog in our bathroom sink. After he was unable to clear it with a pipe snake, the technician indicated he’d have to cut a hole in the ceiling of the downstairs bathroom to access the pipe. Not knowing at the time that the access would’ve been available through the attic, I agreed. We ended up with three holes cut into my ceiling and discovered the pipe had frozen. I was then charged $922 and left to just figure out the rest. There was no attempt to figure a follow up and the problem was not resolved. Now we have to pay even more to fix the damaged ceiling and resolve the initial problem. I understand work can’t be performed for free but charging me nearly $1000 to damage my house and not even fix the issue is reprehensible. I will never call this company again. I would give zero stars if I had the opportunity here.

Roto-Rooter recently completed a drain system replacement in our house. They were prompt on the day of the scheduled work. They were efficient on completing the work of the estimated two days. The completed drain system met our expectations and the total cost of the job matched their estimate. They cleaned-up afterwards all the compromised drain pipe. We give them the highest rating.

EXTREMELY pricey but they got the job done. We got quoted $300 for a main drain problem by a few different companies but they couldn’t come out until the next day or later. Roto Rooters was able to come out the next day but it cost us $700. $100 for the after hours charge and $600 for the actual fix. So more than double what other companies charge for the same issue.

Upstate Septic was great! Geordie was quick to come and pump our septic (which was quite bad)! Very friendly and personable! We already set up for our future septic pumping! If you're looking for friendly , fast service, and great rates , this is your guy! Thanks again for your service !

Geordie was great. He came out to us for a septic pump that was way over due and when that didn't clear out the problem he continued to work to solve it ultimate clearing a clog in our main line. His prices are very reasonable and his response time was quick.

Scott from Arctic Bear went above and beyond for our gas boiler repair. He was upfront and honest and kept us informed every step of the way. Although our boiler was a total loss, Scott spent over two hours trying everything. He fixed many issues with our boiler and even took care of the vent blockage I was previous unaware of. He painstakingly took apart the entire blocked vent, and improved the sealing when he re-assembled it. He accurately diagnosed the problem with the heat exchanger, but it was welded shut and he couldn't access it for cleaning. Nevertheless, he did not give up and consulted many of his colleagues before showing us it would cost more to fix the aging boiler than buying a new one. As a cherry on top, even after I told him I'm going to get a new boiler and he can leave it as-is. He insisted on staying at no charge to put it all back together. I'm surprised how cheap the bill is for the level of service Scott provided, and they do not overcharge anything. This is without a doubt the most professional and honest HVAC company I've worked with, and I look forward to working with them in the future.

Excellent service just a normal check to see how everything is running. This is my first home so understanding how these things work feel very essential to me. The worker Ken C was very helpful and explained what he was checking and the numbers for everything he checked. I also asked about the export from my hot water heater and he quoted me during my regular check up for how much that would be to take care of in the future. On a Sunday evening at an apartment community we had a sewer back-up due to a resident pouring grease down the drain. We called no less than 30 different contractors to come help. No one would come, EXCEPT for Rozen's. They responded quickly, professionally and released the clog so our residents could use their washroom facilities again. Thank you Rozen's!!!!

We had a backup in our mainline that affected our 24 unit Sr. apartment complex on a late Sunday evening. We called every company in our local area and finally found Rozen's Drain and Sewer Service. When no one else would come out and help Rozen's did! The service was amazing, the tech was a total professional, the equipment they used was top of the line and the price was lower than other companies used in the past for emergency issues. We have found a new vendor and highly recommend Rozen's for any residential or commercial drain and sewer issues.

They were awful! The whole time the owner bashed me for trying to help him and was extremely rude. He and his assistant have mental issues, and they were not competent. He could NOT fix the problem and constantly contradicted what he said. The problem was he refused to listen. Before I even told him the problem, he already had his mind made up on how to "fix" the problem. He flushed toilets for 2 hours! He then decided to have a bathroom break with the door wide open (and peed all over the floor!). In the end the problem was not fixed, they broke my door, left a puddle of penetrating oil all over the floor, and charged me $200 for nothing! Please avoid them and choose someone who knows what they are doing!

I had Kevin come to the house to work on setting a tub correctly into new septic pipes was a Godsend. He came to my house to look over the job after he had already worked a full day. Once he was there, he said he could help me out immediately because he had the parts in his van I needed. Within 15 minutes he was done, had told me what my next steps needed to be on my project (completely above and beyond what he needed to do) and was on his way. If you need an honest, hard working, and knowledgeable guy for you plumbing needs, you don't know to look any further than Action Plumbing and Heating in Endicott.

Kevin and team at Action Plumbing are awesome. Our furnace went out, Gary was here right away. The problem wound up being the inability to get parts for a Carrier furnace in a reasonable time frame. Because our handicap daughter was due to come home the next day we made the decision to have a new furnace installed. Kevin and Gary worked their magic, and within a few hours we had heat in the house again. We can’t thank them enough. A big thanks also goes to Nicki for all her help.

When we called to inquire about having our hot water heater replaced, which was under warranty, they were courteous and informative. They fit us in the very next day and when the plumber came he was extremely polite and worked quickly. Slavik and Co installed a brand new Dunkirk natural gas steam boiler west end Binghamton at a grand old home built in 1925. The lead technician and his sidekick made a great team. Carl’s expertise and decades of experience ensured that the system was correctly installed and all boiler controls were operational. Now over a month in service not one leak anywhere and radiators are as quiet as church mice. Natural gas in combination with radiant heating when properly set up and maintained is a winner! And I have to add in Goerge Slavik senior who got me a fast quote and made sure the job was started in a timely fashion. Can’t go wrong with Slavik! P..S their price handily beat two other major local HVAC companies!

October, 2025: install of a new Rannai direct vent natural gas heater ( BEST investment I’ve ever made). End of January, 2026: repair of a cold water copper line leak in my basement, as well as a new faucet ( hot/cold ) for my basement slop sink.

Excellent freindly professional service from initial contact with Joe to completion of work by Kieron.Repaired a toilet pipe leak for my my 99yr old father who is very pleased with the work. I was so impressed with their knowledge, helpfulness and fast response I asked for quotes to remove a kitchen waste disposal and a new tap and click waste for my bathroom sink.This work has been completed to the sane high standard and at the reasonable cost quoted. I highly recommend this trustworthy firm and intend to use again when needed.

We used BODEK INC. for our Mitsubishi ac unit and we couldn’t be more pleased. Scott and Ryan installed the units and they were outstanding. Tyler and his team of two Chrises were very professional and efficient. They displayed great care and concern that the job was completed satisfactorily. I would give them a well deserved recommendation. Adam returned to diagnose an issue with two zone thermostats that were unresponsive. He quickly determined that some of existing thermostats were not compatible with the new system and suggested appropriate replacements. He did a great job.

Also want to give 5 stars to Brad who not only got my old near dead boiler running again but it has stayed running for close to 24 hours now! Keeping my fingers crossed until my new boiler arrives.
