Top Rated Plumbers in Puyallup, Washington
Steady Flow Sewer & Drain Co
3410 SW 320th St Unit A, Federal Way, WA 98023, USA
(206) 809-8130Dan shows up on time and gets the job done right, even when it's really complex. I was buying a new house and the home inspector found the sewer was bad, told me to call Dan at Steady Flow. Dan fit me in for an emergency estimate Saturday morning and quickly confirmed the sewer line was broken and eroding the foundation. Dan quickly fixed the break, ended up excavating much of the basement to fix several more issues, and finally discovered a slope issue with the side sewer responsible for the problems. Dan was able to resolve the issue, now our sewer flows up hill to the sewer main! I called Dan back when another inspector found a "minor" blockage in the sewer at our old house. Turns out we had multiple broken sections in the side sewer. He was able to fit me in for another significant sewer repair, with multiple excavations and nuflow lining completed on a very tight timeline.
9 months agoKyle the owner has been great to me since the first day i called his company. 3 times his company has bailed me out of some clogging. Bath tub twice and sink once. Jordan was the plumber he dispatched everytime and personally requested Jordan the last two times. Jordans the man. Real down to earth and honest. Comes down everytime and we have great conversations after he’s done with the work. Steady Flow isnt the type of company to upsell you and try to milk you for every dollar. They offer honest work at a fair price. Safe to say you have a customer for life.
1 month agoTruly efficient team that went the extra mile to help our entire condo community with some much needed plumbing repairs! And they were able to add an expansion tank to my existing water heater in a very small cramped space. Very satisfied with the work, price and response time. Will use them again for sure!
9 months agoG/K Plumbing
906 W Main, Puyallup, WA 98371, USA
(253) 785-3400i was really impressed with the outstanding plumbing service we received. when our septic tank started giving us trouble because it was way too full, the team of plumbers, including manuel, russell, and joe, showed up quickly and got right to work. their skills and teamwork made sure our septic tank was pumped out fast, and they cleared up the blockage with no hassle. they really cared about doing a great job and made sure everything was working just right before they left. they also took the time to explain what had happened and gave us some helpful tips for keeping our plumbing in good shape for the future. i also talked with one of their service advisors about the cost of repairs. he was very professional and really cared about helping us out. he made sure our main problem—getting our septic system working again—was taken care of quickly, and he was open to working with us on the price. this showed how much the company values its customers and wants to provide the best service possible. i highly recommend this plumbing company to anyone needing dependable and honest septic or plumbing help. their team’s expertise, professionalism, and focus on customer care really make them stand out. their work and customer service are top-notch!
5 months agoG/K Plumbing is the best plumbing company I’ve worked with in Puyallup. Emmanuel, the plumber who came out, really knew his stuff. I was worried I had a problem with my sewer lines, but he used a camera to check everything out and let me know the pipes were clear. At first, we thought I might need a high-pressure cleaning, which would have cost a lot, but Emmanuel was honest and told me it wasn’t needed. I really appreciate that he didn’t try to upsell me or do work that wasn’t necessary, which is rare these days. The whole experience was smooth and professional. I value honesty and good workmanship, and that’s exactly what I got. I’ll definitely use them for any future plumbing needs. If you’re in Puyallup and need a plumber, give them a call—you’ll get great service without being overcharged. They also did a fantastic job for my sister when she needed plumbing help at her house.
4 months agoRussell was friendly, knowledgeable, and worked efficiently. He fixed our hot water heater without trying to upsell us on a new one, and was honest in explaining what the real problem was. If we ever do need a new water heater, we’ll definitely reach out to this plumbing company again. I highly recommend their services. Recently, we had a broken pipe at our home in Puyallup. We called the same plumbing company, and Russell responded quickly. He explained what needed to be done to find and repair the leak, gave us a clear cost estimate, and got to work as soon as we approved it. Russell took care of everything and finished the job promptly. The office staff, especially the friendly lady who answers the phone and schedules appointments, does a great job keeping customers updated. We also plan to have our hot water heater replaced soon and will be scheduling with them. Russell always arrives on time, explains the plumbing issues clearly, and goes over the plan for repairs. If you need a plumber in Puyallup, you can count on excellent service from this team.
5 months agoRush Plumbing Inc
1309 Central Ave S Ste C, Kent, WA 98032, USA
(866) 835-5787I don’t know what to say about Tucker and Mason. They came out this morning to help me find out why there is water coming into my basement. They helped run a camera through my drains and had AMAZING insight into what was going on. Very knowledgeable, personable, and very nice. Thank you so much for the help today! Def will be reaching out the Rush again!
5 months agoExcellent service. Robert and Tucker showed up on time and quickly assessed my drainage issue, came up with a plan, and executed it flawlessly. As usual, Tucker took his time to ensure that his work was of the highest quality, testing for several minutes making sure that there were no leaks. He explained the situation clearly and made sure that I was satisfied with the job. I cannot recommend them enough! You won't be disappointed. I first hired Robert to replace all three phases of pipes in my first house back in 2009, so I have known him for 16 years. You can trust them to do great work.
5 months agoProfessional, knowledgeable, proficient and friendly. Totally satisfied with the team effort at Rush Plumbing. Colleen setup the initial appointment. Robert provided options to addressing our water line issue and explained the pros, cons and cost of each. Once decided, Robert and Mason completed the work, always respectful of our property and cleaned up when done. A “hiccup” in the water heater install, once identified, was quickly resolved. After a long day on my project, they made time to assist a neighbor who had a clogged drainage line in a very old home. They were creative in their approach to clearing the blockage and repairing the drain. Pricing is competitive. Peace of mind in the quality of the work is priceless. Will recommend to family and friends. Nicely done!
4 months agoErnest & Sons Plumbing
3570 E Roosevelt Ave, Tacoma, WA 98404, USA
(253) 893-4900The service was outstanding. Lawrence arrived at my home in Tacoma very promptly, and I appreciated how someone from Ernest & Sons Plumbing took the time to explain all the plumbing services, pricing, and safety steps. Their care and attention made me feel confident in their work. Lawrence replaced my sump pump, cleared out the drains, and got my basement back in great shape much faster than I expected. They also scheduled a follow-up to check on my well issue. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing repairs or maintenance. Their professionalism and quality of work truly stand out.
3 months agoWe've been using this plumbing company for over 20 years now, and they have always been fair, kind, and truly professional. Their team is knowledgeable about every plumbing issue we've ever had, and their prices are great—very reasonable for the quality of service they provide. Every time we've needed help, from installing a new garbage disposal, toilets, or a hot water heater, to clearing out drains and lines in our kitchen and five bathrooms, they've done top-notch work. They have also replaced root-damaged pipes in our yard and taken care of repairs like fixing dripping faucets and leaking water shut-off valves, both inside and out. No matter what plumbing job comes up, they handle it with care and expertise. Everyone we've worked with, from the person answering the phone to the plumber's helper, has been respectful, honest, and genuinely caring. Plumbers like Willie, Bobby, and Sean always show up on time, check everything carefully (more than once), and make sure to clean up the work area before leaving. They go above and beyond every step of the way. When I’ve tried to fix plumbing problems myself and couldn’t get it sorted, calling this team has always brought relief. I know I can trust them to get the job done right without overcharging or cutting corners. They are dependable, never rush through a job, and truly care about their customers. It’s a big comfort to know there’s a plumbing company out there you can count on for anything—from water heater issues and clogged drains to leaks and more. If you want honest, skilled plumbers who treat you right, I highly recommend giving them a call. You’ll be glad you did!
4 months agoI had a really good experience with this plumbing company. They were able to fit me into their schedule quickly when I needed urgent help with my water heater. Willie arrived right on time, ready to get to work, and he clearly knew what he was doing. He quickly found the problem and had the right part on hand, which made everything go smoothly. The repair was finished fast—about twenty minutes—and my hot water was working again without any hassle. Lawrence was there too, bringing a helpful and friendly attitude, which made the whole process feel even easier. I’m really happy with their service and would recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable plumber.

1 year agoBarney's Plumbing & Sewer Services
2145 Garrett St, Enumclaw, WA 98022, USA
(253) 498-5434I've had to call Barney's out twice: once for outside bib upgrades (non-freezing) and another time to swap out a couple of leaking bathroom faucets that rusted so tight I couldn't get them to move, and to install a replcement kitchen faucet since they were already going to be here for the bathrooms (don't tell my wife I was too lazy to swap the kitchen). Both times they came out the gave me fair, honest pricing backed by solid work. From the first call, you get clear expectations instead of vague estimates or pressure to upsell. They explain what needs fixing, why it matters, and what it will cost before they start. That transparency makes a big difference. The technicians show up on time, work efficiently, and respect your space. They focus on solving the problem, not dragging the job out. When there are options, they walk you through them and let you decide, which keeps costs under control. You never feel surprised by the final bill. The quality matches the price. Repairs feel done right the first time, and nothing feels rushed or sloppy. For plumbing and sewer work—where costs can spiral fast—Barney’s keeps things reasonable without cutting corners. If you want a plumbing company that charges what the job is worth and treats you fairly, Barney’s Plumbing & Sewer Services is a strong choice. You pay for real work, not inflated prices or unnecessary add-ons. The cats appreciated having their favorite watering hole back, and I didn't have to contort under the kitchen sink to swap out that facet, either!
5 months agoAbsolutely, hands down, the best, from making the phone call at the beginning to the work being finished. My heart just sank when I heard drip, drip, drip in the laundry room, only to discover a hole in the ceiling and water dripping down on our dryer. Riley & Preston were professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and overall awesome. For something so stressful (and I was stressed), Barney's made this simple and affordable! Thank you Barney's Bill Stratton
3 months agoBarney's Plumbing has been great in several issues with out 100 year old home. We greatly appreciate their work, their endurance, and kindness--especially Jesse! I can't say enough about what a great job he has done. Always stays till the job is finished and takes time to explain what was needed and what was accomplished. Thank you!--Porter homeowner!
4 months agoRaptor Plumbing & Sewer
636 Railroad Ave S, Kent, WA 98032, USA
(206) 775-6882What an excellent company! Raptor Plumbing did an exceptional job with our whole house repipe. They replaced all our water and drain lines, hose bibs and connection hardware at a reasonable cost and timeline. Jason and Roy are kind, professional, and accommodating. They provided solutions for things that needed fixing but were technically out of scope for this project. Graydon is also a pleasure and does a great job scheduling and with follow up details. We highly recommend them and will use them for all our plumbing needs in the future. Thanks, guys, for helping us stay grounded in a time of very high stress. We appreciate you! - Michele B
7 months agoWe have used Raptor Plumbing for several projects since moving to the area. They repaired an outdoor faucet and installed new shut off valves. They fixed a toilet in the bathroom that was squealing. They replaced another toilet valve that kept giving us trouble and installed a new kitchen faucet I could not get to myself. Months later they even came back to fix a small drip under warranty, even though it was unclear whether it related to the original work. Every visit felt professional and thorough. Easy scheduling. Clear communication. Strong workmanship. I would recommend them without hesitation.
4 months agoRaptor Plumbing did an awesome job replacing our Tankless Water Heater. Jason and his crew work fast and efficient. I’d highly recommend them for any future plumbing work.
3 months agoSpartan Plumbing Services
760 107th St S, Tacoma, WA 98444, USA
(253) 306-0309We want to give 5/5 stars to our technician Josh, who was able to come out within a day to look at our tankless water heater and troubleshoot. He was on time, kind, and honest about the work needing to be done. We have multiple quotes done and his was the most insightful, well priced, and knowledgeable. We appreciate his work and his time. We would recommend this company and their honesty.
4 months agoAfter calling many plumbers I finally reached out to my community page for suggestions, the first two suggestions had huge call charges one was 220 bucks to just come out and look 😳 so when I called the third suggested company Spartan not only did they have the lowest call charge under 50 bucks but customer service, making appointment and right down to the plumber who went above and beyond to anwer my question, gave me options, fixed it without trying to up sale me then checked everything before leaving and left everything as clean as it was before he arrived made a very stressful situation less stressful. I definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a plumber.
3 months agoBen saved our day! Ben came out and was very thorough and analytical and figured out a leak we had in our basement. His quote was very fair and we were so relieved that he actually found our issue and resolved it. We didn’t have to wait long for our turn to be fixed and he was always so polite and explained everything so well. We are so happy! Joan Johnson
3 months agoProfessional Drain Cleaning in Puyallup, Washington
Puyallup residents know that a slow drain can quickly turn into a major headache, especially during the peak of the Pacific Northwest rainy season. From the historic homes near downtown to the newer developments on South Hill, finding a plumber who is actually available when you need them is often the biggest challenge. That’s where we come in.
Instead of you spending hours calling around to the many plumbing companies serving the Puyallup Valley, our service does the legwork for you. We filter our network of certified professionals by your exact zip code and personally call them to verify they can handle your drain issue today. We ensure you're connected with a technician who is ready to go, saving you time and stress.
Our goal is to eliminate the guesswork. When you have a backed-up sewer line or a kitchen sink that won't quit, you don't want to hear a voicemail. We confirm 24-hour availability and technical expertise so your Puyallup home gets back to normal as fast as possible.
Common Drain Issues in Puyallup, Washington
Tree Root Intrusion: With Puyallup’s lush greenery and towering Douglas firs, invasive tree roots are a common culprit for sewer line backups. These roots seek out moisture in older clay or cast iron pipes found in many local neighborhoods, causing stubborn blockages that require professional hydro-jetting.
Heavy Rainfall Overload: The frequent downpours in Western Washington can overwhelm local drainage systems. If your perimeter drains or downspouts are clogged with moss and debris, you risk basement flooding or crawlspace moisture issues during a typical Puyallup winter.
Fats, Oils, and Grease (FOG): Residents in the South Hill area often deal with kitchen sink clogs caused by grease buildup. In the cooler PNW temperatures, grease solidifies quickly inside your pipes, leading to slow-moving drains that store-bought chemicals simply can't fix.
Aging Infrastructure: Downtown Puyallup features beautiful historic homes, but many still have original plumbing. Over decades, mineral scale and pipe corrosion can narrow the diameter of your lines, making them prone to frequent backups even with normal household use.
Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for Puyallup, Washington
Spring Cleaning: After the winter rains, clear your outdoor area drains and gutters of fallen pine needles and moss to prevent yard flooding during heavy spring showers.
Fall Leaf Protection: Before the autumn leaves drop, ensure your exterior drain grates are clear. This prevents Puyallup's heavy October rains from washing debris into your main sewer line.
Winter Pipe Prep: When temperatures dip below freezing in the Puyallup Valley, ensure your outdoor spigots are disconnected and insulated to prevent pressure backups that can damage indoor drain joints.
Fair Season Check-up: If you're hosting visitors during the Washington State Fair, the extra strain on your guest bathroom and kitchen drains can trigger hidden clogs. A preventative snake-out in August can save you from a plumbing disaster during the festivities.
Average Drain Cleaning Costs in Puyallup, Washington
Pricing in Puyallup typically depends on the severity of the clog, the location of the blockage (secondary line vs. main sewer), and whether specialized equipment like hydro-jetting or camera inspections are required.
Frequently Asked Questions about Drain Cleaning in Puyallup, Washington
How quickly can I get a plumber in Puyallup?
Our service specializes in same-day verification. We call Puyallup plumbers in your specific zip code to ensure they have an immediate opening before we even connect you, often resulting in service within just a few hours.
Are your plumbers licensed for work in Pierce County?
Yes, we only work with certified and insured plumbing professionals who are authorized to perform residential and commercial drain services in Puyallup and the surrounding Washington area.
What is the most common cause of clogs in South Hill?
In the newer developments of South Hill, we often see 'flushable' wipes and grease buildup as the primary causes, whereas downtown Puyallup deals more frequently with root intrusion and aging infrastructure.
Does the heavy Puyallup rain affect my indoor drains?
Indirectly, yes. If your main sewer line is partially blocked or if you have a combined sewer/storm system, heavy PNW rain can cause pressure to build up, leading to backups in your lowest household drains.
Can you find a plumber for emergency late-night clogs?
Absolutely. We verify 24-hour availability across our Puyallup network, ensuring you get help even if your drain overflows at 2:00 AM on a weekend.
