Top Rated Plumbers in Kent
Ready Rooter
13222 SE 30th St Suite A-1, Bellevue, WA 98005, USA
(425) 366-4717We had backed-up showers and toilets in our house, and Santino from Ready Rooter came out on a Sunday, arriving in less than two hours, to diagnose the issue. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I had already opened our septic tank lids, and he thoroughly checked everything, confirming that the problem was simply a full septic tank, not a plumbing issue. He also shared helpful tips and advice for future maintenance and didn’t even charge us for the service call or diagnosis! We’re extremely satisfied with Ready Rooter’s service, and I won’t hesitate to call them again whenever we need help.
1 week agoWe had a clog in our pipe that was further than the drain snake could reach. I called Ready Rooter and they came out within a few hours. They had the tools to reach the clog, and took care to protect my floor and hallway from the machine they brought in. The plumber was professional and told me exactly what it would cost before I agreed to have him do the work. Overall I am happy with their services and the price was reasonable.
1 week agoI had an excellent experience with Ready Router, and I can't say enough good things about their technician, Justin. He truly went above and beyond from start to finish. Justin was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and patient in explaining everything, and I always felt like I was in honest, capable hands. The pricing was very fair, and the quality of service exceeded my expectations. It's rare to find a company that combines professionalism, integrity, and genuine care the way Ready Router does. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone-and especially Justin-without hesitation.
1 month agoErnest & Sons Plumbing
3570 E Roosevelt Ave, Tacoma, WA 98404, USA
(253) 893-4900The service was outstanding. Lawrence arrived at my home in Tacoma very promptly, and I appreciated how someone from Ernest & Sons Plumbing took the time to explain all the plumbing services, pricing, and safety steps. Their care and attention made me feel confident in their work. Lawrence replaced my sump pump, cleared out the drains, and got my basement back in great shape much faster than I expected. They also scheduled a follow-up to check on my well issue. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing repairs or maintenance. Their professionalism and quality of work truly stand out.
3 weeks agoWe've been using this plumbing company for over 20 years now, and they have always been fair, kind, and truly professional. Their team is knowledgeable about every plumbing issue we've ever had, and their prices are great—very reasonable for the quality of service they provide. Every time we've needed help, from installing a new garbage disposal, toilets, or a hot water heater, to clearing out drains and lines in our kitchen and five bathrooms, they've done top-notch work. They have also replaced root-damaged pipes in our yard and taken care of repairs like fixing dripping faucets and leaking water shut-off valves, both inside and out. No matter what plumbing job comes up, they handle it with care and expertise. Everyone we've worked with, from the person answering the phone to the plumber's helper, has been respectful, honest, and genuinely caring. Plumbers like Willie, Bobby, and Sean always show up on time, check everything carefully (more than once), and make sure to clean up the work area before leaving. They go above and beyond every step of the way. When I’ve tried to fix plumbing problems myself and couldn’t get it sorted, calling this team has always brought relief. I know I can trust them to get the job done right without overcharging or cutting corners. They are dependable, never rush through a job, and truly care about their customers. It’s a big comfort to know there’s a plumbing company out there you can count on for anything—from water heater issues and clogged drains to leaks and more. If you want honest, skilled plumbers who treat you right, I highly recommend giving them a call. You’ll be glad you did!
1 month agoI had a really good experience with this plumbing company. They were able to fit me into their schedule quickly when I needed urgent help with my water heater. Willie arrived right on time, ready to get to work, and he clearly knew what he was doing. He quickly found the problem and had the right part on hand, which made everything go smoothly. The repair was finished fast—about twenty minutes—and my hot water was working again without any hassle. Lawrence was there too, bringing a helpful and friendly attitude, which made the whole process feel even easier. I’m really happy with their service and would recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable plumber.
1 month agoSteady Flow Sewer & Drain Co
3410 SW 320th St Unit A, Federal Way, WA 98023, USA
(206) 809-8130Dan shows up on time and gets the job done right, even when it's really complex. I was buying a new house and the home inspector found the sewer was bad, told me to call Dan at Steady Flow. Dan fit me in for an emergency estimate Saturday morning and quickly confirmed the sewer line was broken and eroding the foundation. Dan quickly fixed the break, ended up excavating much of the basement to fix several more issues, and finally discovered a slope issue with the side sewer responsible for the problems. Dan was able to resolve the issue, now our sewer flows up hill to the sewer main! I called Dan back when another inspector found a "minor" blockage in the sewer at our old house. Turns out we had multiple broken sections in the side sewer. He was able to fit me in for another significant sewer repair, with multiple excavations and nuflow lining completed on a very tight timeline.
6 months agoDaniel does an exceptional job for us and has worked on several complex projects for our clients. He is our go-to for all sewer concerns. Kathryn Kleber, Managing Broker, Keller Williams Team RED
1 week agoTruly efficient team that went the extra mile to help our entire condo community with some much needed plumbing repairs! And they were able to add an expansion tank to my existing water heater in a very small cramped space. Very satisfied with the work, price and response time. Will use them again for sure!
6 months agoAll Phase Plumbing
14101 Interurban Ave S Unit 78-A, Tukwila, WA 98168, USA
(206) 772-6077Tony was great! The company responded quickly and fixed the clogged sink. My family and I have used this company for years. They have fixed and updated failed old plumbing in our duplexes and a 120 year old building. I trust Larry, Tony, Jonathan and their whole team.
1 year agoHorrible absolutely horrible!! Don’t waist your time or money with this company. They need to really closed down until they get better employees and management. No care or sense of urgency. Company is un organized the employees are lazy. I have a leak and still have a leak. The person they sent over made me and my husband feel like it was a bothersome he was here to help. And he even told my husband that his company doesn’t pay him enough to crawl in crawl spaces. And as soon as I opened the crawl door my husband had like 5 mouse traps for caution. You could tell they had been there for like 5 to 10 years, cause the traps were really old looking no mice in them no rats in them. Some might’ve been triggered by maybe me stomping on the floor or something. The guy looked at them said I don’t do mice or rats and I’m like ok There’s none in there so go ahead. He went halfway in the crawl space and literally jumped back and said that he heard a mouse or a rat. Talked to my husband abt running a new line to avoid going under house and would email us an estimate. I didn’t receive one that day. so called office I I called office next morning day 2, was hoping it was a bad employee not the company. The lady that answered said she knew what I was talking abt and would get that estimate over to us. And have the manager call me. Not an I am sorry or even that she was shocked as to what I was telling her. Now Day three still no call or estimate. of course didn’t wait three days so I called another company. Day 2 They came crawled right up underneath the house. They did see two mummified rats, but they had been there for like years. He said at least 10 years. Andy’s plumbing really great guy, went under didn’t see any fresh activity of rodents. So the employee from all phase plumbing was a liar to top everything off. The leak is not even under the house, but still no estimate from all phase or a call from The manager and they was the first plumber we called. Worst company ever can’t believe they are actually in service.
2 weeks agoThe team at all phase were super! I got my issues corrected before winter and 100% would recommend them. Jeremy did a great job, was kind, communicative, and very knowledgeable!

13306 SE 30th St, Bellevue, WA 98005, USA
(206) 614-3896I had a great experience with Jacob from Home Service Plumbers. He cleared my kitchen drain very quickly and was extremely professional throughout the whole visit. He explained everything clearly, showed strong knowledge of the issue, and made sure the job was done right. I really appreciate his efficiency and expertise. Highly recommended!
3 months agoMy friend recommended Homeservice Plumbers because she had a good experience. My garbage disposal quit working and the drain was backing up. I called and made an appointment, and was able to get one quickly. The office called about 20 minutes before the plumbers were going to arrive, within the window they had given me and they arrived exactly 20 minutes later. Once here, I explained the problem. Apparently the blades on the garbage disposal had quit and that was causing the backup. They fixed it and were done within 10 minutes. Because it was so fast and so easy for them, they didn't charge. They are now at the top of my list to call. Jacob was professional, quick and gave a great explanation. But I'm sure anyone that would come from this company would be wonderful. I couldn't be happier. I will recommend them to all my friends.
1 month agoWe recently had a bathtub installed and noticed the hot water pressure was getting weaker over time. We called for service and they sent James the same day! He was professional, friendly, and took the time to explain everything as he diagnosed the issue. Thankfully, he figured out the problem quickly and saved us from having to open up the wall and replace the valve — a huge relief. The $99 trip charge was well worth it for the honest and efficient service. Highly recommend this company for their prompt response, clear communication, and expertise!

(206) 775-6882What an excellent company! Raptor Plumbing did an exceptional job with our whole house repipe. They replaced all our water and drain lines, hose bibs and connection hardware at a reasonable cost and timeline. Jason and Roy are kind, professional, and accommodating. We highly recommend them and will use them for all our plumbing needs in the future. Thanks, guys, for helping us stay grounded in a time of very high stress. We appreciate you! - Michele B
4 months agoWe have used Raptor Plumbing for several projects since moving to the area. They repaired an outdoor faucet and installed new shut off valves. They fixed a toilet in the bathroom that was squealing. They replaced another toilet valve that kept giving us trouble and installed a new kitchen faucet I could not get to myself. Months later they even came back to fix a small drip under warranty, even though it was unclear whether it related to the original work. Every visit felt professional and thorough. Easy scheduling. Clear communication. Strong workmanship. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Living in the Green River Valley means dealing with the unique plumbing challenges that come with the Pacific Northwest's damp climate. Whether you are dealing with a backed-up sink in East Hill or a stubborn main line clog near the Kent Station, finding a reliable plumber shouldn't be a game of phone tag. Our service simplifies the process by doing the heavy lifting for you. We maintain a comprehensive network of certified plumbers throughout Kent, Washington. Instead of you calling multiple businesses to see who has an opening, we use your specific zip code to filter for the closest pros. Most importantly, we actually call them to confirm they can solve your specific drain issue today before we connect you. This ensures you get 24-hour availability verification and fast, effective service right when you need it most.
Common Drain Issues in Kent
Kent's lush landscape is beautiful, but the aggressive root systems of native Washington trees are a common culprit for sewer line backups. Older homes in the valley often have clay or cast iron pipes that are easily infiltrated by thirsty roots seeking moisture, leading to slow drains or total blockages.
With Kent receiving significant rainfall throughout the year, storm drains and perimeter drains often become overwhelmed with debris and silt. When these outdoor systems fail, the excess water can put immense pressure on your home’s internal plumbing, causing unexpected backups during heavy Northwest storms.
In many of Kent's established neighborhoods, aging galvanized piping is still common. Over the decades, these pipes develop internal corrosion and mineral buildup, which narrows the passage for wastewater. This leads to recurring clogs that simple DIY plunging just can't resolve.
Modern Kent households also face the common 'fatberg' issue—a combination of grease, oils, and 'flushable' wipes that congeal in the cooler underground temperatures of our region. These stubborn obstructions require professional-grade equipment like hydro-jetting to fully clear and restore proper flow.
Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for Kent
Spring: As the winter rains subside, check your outdoor area drains and catch basins for accumulated pine needles and silt. Clearing these now prevents basement flooding during the next big downpour.
Summer: This is the peak growing season for trees. If you notice gurgling sounds in your drains, it may be an early sign of root intrusion. A mid-summer inspection can save you from a major sewer backup in the winter.
Fall: With the heavy leaf fall Kent is known for, ensure your gutters and downspouts are clear. Redirecting this water away from your foundation prevents the soil from becoming over-saturated, which can shift pipes and cause leaks.
Winter: While Kent winters are usually mild, we do see freezing snaps. Ensure any exposed drain lines in crawlspaces are insulated. A frozen drain line can crack, leading to a messy and expensive situation when the thaw begins.
Average Drain Cleaning Costs in Kent
Typical drain cleaning costs in Kent reflect the local labor market and the complexity of the job. A standard sink or toilet snake usually falls on the lower end, while advanced hydro-jetting or main line root removal accounts for the higher range.
