Lawrence arrived at my home in Tacoma very promptly, and I appreciated how someone from Ernest & Sons Plumbing took the time to explain all the plumbing services, pricing, and safety steps. Their care and attention made me feel confident in their work. Lawrence replaced my sump pump, cleared out the drains, and got my basement back in great shape much faster than I expected. 3 months agoWe've been using this plumbing company for over 20 years now, and they have always been fair, kind, and truly professional. Their team is knowledgeable about every plumbing issue we've ever had, and their prices are great—very reasonable for the quality of service they provide. Every time we've needed help, from installing a new garbage disposal, toilets, or a hot water heater, to clearing out drains and lines in our kitchen and five bathrooms, they've done top-notch work. They have also replaced root-damaged pipes in our yard and taken care of repairs like fixing dripping faucets and leaking water shut-off valves, both inside and out. No matter what plumbing job comes up, they handle it with care and expertise. Everyone we've worked with, from the person answering the phone to the plumber's helper, has been respectful, honest, and genuinely caring. Plumbers like Willie, Bobby, and Sean always show up on time, check everything carefully (more than once), and make sure to clean up the work area before leaving. They go above and beyond every step of the way. When I’ve tried to fix plumbing problems myself and couldn’t get it sorted, calling this team has always brought relief. I know I can trust them to get the job done right without overcharging or cutting corners. They are dependable, never rush through a job, and truly care about their customers. It’s a big comfort to know there’s a plumbing company out there you can count on for anything—from water heater issues and clogged drains to leaks and more. If you want honest, skilled plumbers who treat you right, I highly recommend giving them a call. You’ll be glad you did!

(253) 785-3400i was really impressed with the outstanding plumbing service we received. when our septic tank started giving us trouble because it was way too full, the team of plumbers, including manuel, russell, and joe, showed up quickly and got right to work. their skills and teamwork made sure our septic tank was pumped out fast, and they cleared up the blockage with no hassle. they really cared about doing a great job and made sure everything was working just right before they left. they also took the time to explain what had happened and gave us some helpful tips for keeping our plumbing in good shape for the future. i also talked with one of their service advisors about the cost of repairs. he was very professional and really cared about helping us out. he made sure our main problem—getting our septic system working again—was taken care of quickly, and he was open to working with us on the price. this showed how much the company values its customers and wants to provide the best service possible. i highly recommend this plumbing company to anyone needing dependable and honest septic or plumbing help. their team’s expertise, professionalism, and focus on customer care really make them stand out. their work and customer service are top-notch!
5 months agoG/K Plumbing is the best plumbing company I’ve worked with in Puyallup. Emmanuel, the plumber who came out, really knew his stuff. I was worried I had a problem with my sewer lines, but he used a camera to check everything out and let me know the pipes were clear. At first, we thought I might need a high-pressure cleaning, which would have cost a lot, but Emmanuel was honest and told me it wasn’t needed. I really appreciate that he didn’t try to upsell me or do work that wasn’t necessary, which is rare these days. The whole experience was smooth and professional. I value honesty and good workmanship, and that’s exactly what I got. I’ll definitely use them for any future plumbing needs. If you’re in Puyallup and need a plumber, give them a call—you’ll get great service without being overcharged. They also did a fantastic job for my sister when she needed plumbing help at her house.
4 months agoRussell was friendly, knowledgeable, and worked efficiently. He fixed our hot water heater without trying to upsell us on a new one, and was honest in explaining what the real problem was. If we ever do need a new water heater, we’ll definitely reach out to this plumbing company again. I highly recommend their services. Recently, we had a broken pipe at our home in Puyallup. We called the same plumbing company, and Russell responded quickly. He explained what needed to be done to find and repair the leak, gave us a clear cost estimate, and got to work as soon as we approved it. Russell took care of everything and finished the job promptly. The office staff, especially the friendly lady who answers the phone and schedules appointments, does a great job keeping customers updated. We also plan to have our hot water heater replaced soon and will be scheduling with them. Russell always arrives on time, explains the plumbing issues clearly, and goes over the plan for repairs. If you need a plumber in Puyallup, you can count on excellent service from this team.

3 months agoSteady Flow Sewer & Drain Co
3410 SW 320th St Unit A, Federal Way, WA 98023, USA
(206) 809-8130Dan shows up on time and gets the job done right, even when it's really complex. I was buying a new house and the home inspector found the sewer was bad, told me to call Dan at Steady Flow. Dan fit me in for an emergency estimate Saturday morning and quickly confirmed the sewer line was broken and eroding the foundation. Dan quickly fixed the break, ended up excavating much of the basement to fix several more issues, and finally discovered a slope issue with the side sewer responsible for the problems. Dan was able to resolve the issue, now our sewer flows up hill to the sewer main! I called Dan back when another inspector found a "minor" blockage in the sewer at our old house. Turns out we had multiple broken sections in the side sewer. He was able to fit me in for another significant sewer repair, with multiple excavations and nuflow lining completed on a very tight timeline.

3 months agoAt Your Service Plumbing
3036 68th Ave W Suite F, University Place, WA 98466, USA
(253) 448-8136This man was sent from god - my old home had an ancient valve in it that i was unaware of, one of those old delta crystal knob types as well. Dan walked us through every step of the way, what would be the most affordable vs expensive solutions and let us choose. He had trim options we could select and did the whole thing in probably less than 2 hours. It felt so quick! No mess was left in the bathroom and he even puts little plastic booties on his work boots to keep your home clean. 10/10 will be using him forever
6 months agoWe had an outstanding experience with Kyle from At Your Service Plumbing. He arrived right on time, was incredibly knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. On top of that, he was genuinely friendly and professional throughout the entire visit. Kyle wore shoe protectors and laid down protective floor mats while working inside our home, which we really appreciated. Outside, he had to dig a hole for the repair—and when he was done, he covered it so perfectly you honestly couldn’t tell anything had been dug up at all. That level of care really stood out. Kyle also shared that all plumbers at At Your Service are fully licensed and required to pass drug testing, which gave us even more confidence in the company. They may not be the cheapest option in town, but the quality of service absolutely justifies the cost. We were extremely impressed, highly recommend At Your Service Plumbing, and will definitely be calling them again for any future issues. Also worth noting: if you sign up for their yearly membership, you get 15% off your invoice, which is a great bonus. Highly recommend!
5 months agoI love At Your Service Plumbing! J.R. and Kyle are exceptional and always go above and beyond. They truly care about the quality of their service. Whether it’s an emergency repair or planning upgrades, Kyle always gives me multiple options and his candid opinion. This helps homeowners determine the best course of action and get results they desire. They’ve replaced 2 toilets, made emergency repairs to our tubs, a pressure regulator, new shutoff valves for all our sinks, a new water heater, a new home water shutoff valve and a new outdoor faucet, among other upgrades or repairs. There hasn’t been a single issue with any of the work and I have been so happy with everything we’ve upgraded or fixed. Highly recommend the platinum support package which comes with yearly comprehensive inspections and extended warranties!
4 months agoAll Purpose Plumbing
5433 S M St, Tacoma, WA 98408, USA
(253) 375-8799The pricing for this company is wild. I called to have some supply line valves for my washer replaced. The original cost they quoted me was $1500. When I looked at the reason for the price, they wanted to charge $468 for new supply hoses to the washer, $99 for an annual membership fee (renewal charges every year) and the remainder to replace the valves. I declined, called another plumber, and was given a price less than half what they quoted. The alternate plumber is licensed and bonded, and coming to do the repair the same day I called. $468 for braided steel supply lines. Let that sink in. That is 10x the cost of the hoses and an easy enough task for even a newb like me to complete in under 10 minutes. The customer service was excellent and the tech they sent was friendly and I have no doubt good at his job. My one star rating was raised by the professionalism of the employees. Don’t forget to get multiple quotes, folks!
4 months agoAll Purpose Plumbing is a wonderful company with an all-star team! I've had them out to my house a few times now to fix various issues, and every time they have been a pleasure to work with. This time round Eric B. was the technician who fixed our plumbing issue, he was transparent on what needed to be fixed and why, pointed out other issues to me for my awareness and answered all my questions (old house, lots of issues, and we are looking at a future bathroom remodel so I had a lot of questions), and was fast and efficient! I consistently appreciate how friendly every technician has been, they are my go to company for plumbing work!
6 months agoShowed up on the first day with an initial quote around 350. Problem wasn't fixed, second quote was around 750 and they put several holes in my walls in incorrect spots including one that went through to the external siding of the house. They slapped clear caulk on it so “everything would be ok” and told me they would have to come back Monday to finish. I rescheduled my work appointments to be available and when the time comes they no show and I call to find they've booked me for Tuesday which I cant reschedule. Still have a broken hose, lost work, and now I have cool new holes in my house.
10 months agoProfessional Drain Cleaning in Lakewood, Washington
Living in the 'City of Lakes' means enjoying the beautiful scenery of Gravelly Lake and Steilacoom Lake, but it also means dealing with unique plumbing challenges. We provide a streamlined approach to drain services in Lakewood. Instead of you spending your afternoon on hold, our system scans a network of local plumbing experts, filters them specifically by your zip code, and calls them to confirm they have an open slot to help you right now. Whether you're near JBLM or living in the heart of Lake City, we ensure you get a verified professional at your door without the guesswork.
Common Drain Issues in Lakewood, Washington
Tree Root Intrusion: Lakewood’s lush greenery and towering Douglas firs are beautiful, but their roots are notorious for seeking out moisture in older sewer lines. We see many residents near the historic districts experiencing slow drains caused by root infiltration.
Older Pipe Corrosion: Many homes built in the mid-20th century across Lakewood still utilize original galvanized or cast-iron piping. Over time, these pipes narrow due to rust and mineral buildup, leading to persistent clogs that simple DIY fixes can't solve.
Heavy Rain Drainage: During the typical Washington rainy season, outdoor drains and basement floor drains in Lakewood can become overwhelmed. Without proper cleaning, silt and debris can cause localized flooding during a Pacific Northwest downpour.
Kitchen Grease Buildup: From the busy families near Fort Steilacoom Park to the residential areas near the mall, kitchen sink clogs are a frequent issue. Years of grease and food particles create a stubborn sludge that requires professional-grade equipment to clear effectively.
Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for Lakewood, Washington
Prepare for the Rainy Season: Before the heavy Lakewood autumn rains begin, ensure your outdoor area drains and gutters are clear of leaves to prevent water from backing up into your foundation.
Winter Freeze Protection: While Lakewood has a maritime climate, we do get freezing snaps. Insulate any exposed drain pipes in crawlspaces to prevent ice blockages that can lead to burst pipes.
Spring Main Line Inspection: After the ground shifts during the wet spring months, it's a great time to have your main sewer line inspected for any new root growth or cracks caused by soil movement.
Summer Disposal Care: With summer cookouts being popular near the lakes, remind guests not to put fibrous vegetables or grease down the disposal, which are the leading causes of summer drain emergencies.
Average Drain Cleaning Costs in Lakewood, Washington
Prices in Lakewood typically range based on the depth of the clog and the equipment needed. A standard snake service is more affordable, while hydro-jetting or emergency after-hours calls may increase the total cost.
